PLOT DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SCREENPLAY/NOVEL 

SCREENPLAY - This is the Tenth and Final Season. 
There are only 8 episodes this season. 

NOVEL - The Eighth Season is the Final Season. 

SCREENPLAY PLOT SPOILERS - The resurrection of Tina plot, is completely different to the NOVEL.  Tina has amnesia and thinks her name is Lucy Crawford and that Hank Willis is Kyle Palmer, whom she is in a relationship with. 

Lola is murdered by Bethany. 

Billy sacrifices himself and Bethany, when she attempts a murder/ suicide dive in a Helicopter into the Hudson River, thus saving Tina and Greg, on Tina's second wedding day to Harry. (series finale). 

Helen and Greg become Oscars guardian following Lola's passing, as a brother for Frank. 

NOVEL - Tina is protected by Eric Lance (Season 8 & Final Season), who is really Hank Willis in disguise. However, his intensions to help Harry is to return Tina, in exchange for the disk, Jeff sent to the States. 

Billy is killed off screen. 

Lola survives the remainder of the series. Oscar doesn't exist.

2: Loves Hurt Return

EXT. CLEAR DAY. 

EXT. ROCHESTER. NEW YORK STATE. 
A City 86 Miles east of Niagara Falls and 70 Miles north of Keuka Lake. 

EXT. GATES PUBLIC LIBRARY - PARKING LOT. 
On the outskirts of Rochester.

EXT. HARRY WILSON.  
The Forty Three is still left reeling from the discovery that his beloved Tina Wilson, is still alive.
 Tina was believed to have died in the North Tower collapse of the World Trade Center, during the September 11th 2001, terrorist attacks. It's a miracle in itself. Harry, now, with the possibility of Bethany being deceased, Carla dead and the Cosmos Organization on it's knees, he can attempt to reconcile, with the love of his life. However, a former obstacle is in his way - Hank Willis. A former Gangster and short term lover of Tina, from Hex-Ville. Not to forget a his on -off relationship with Carla. But, that's not all either. Tina has memory loss - Amnesia, which Lola has already informed Harry of. It's gonna be the fight of Harry's life, to win back the love of his lifes heart. Harry is seething, at the thought that Hank is undoubtedly manipulating Tina, due to the memory of her past life missing. Hank has somehow avoided capture by the Law. Something that Harry may not be unaware of and it's possible he may not know Hank was involved in the Cosmos. Moments earlier, Harry was captivated by the reappearance of Tina, until Hank picked her up and they seemed to be romantically involved, which was a stab to Harry's heart. Tina and Hank got into a car and drove away. 

EXT. LOLA SHELDON
The Thirty Nine Year Old, with fuzzy hair stands beside Harry. She can see how relieved, yet, heartbroken he is at the same time. 
She touches his arm and encourages to walk with her. Harry is beside himself. Where has Tina been the last two years, since that awful morning in Southern Manhattan? Lola steadies Harry, who is so shocked, he looks like he's about to collapse in shock. Lola stares at Harry concerned, as he starts to sweat. 

LOLA
Are you OK? 

Harry takes deep breaths, trying to compose himself. 

HARRY 
Just give me a minute. 

The two walk across the Library Parking Lot. 

EXT. FORD TAURUS
Lola's car. 

Harry walks to the passenger side, looking down hearted, as if Hank has already fired a spear into him already. Lola rushes to the drivers side and unlocks her vehicle. 

LOLA
It's open.
(to Harry)

Harry nods, as a breeze blows up. Both Harry and Lola get into the vehicle. 

INT. FORD TAURUS. HARRY & LOLA.
Harry stares out of the Windshield, as several thoughts go running through his head. Lola places her handbag on the floor behind her. There is complete silence. Harry saw an over 100 Storey Skyscraper fall to the ground, nearly 2 years earlier, with his beloved Tina inside the building. It's a catastrophe, that had very much minimal to impossibility of survival. Her incredible resurrection, was a second chance for Harry to have the life back he wanted. Now, it's a fight to win that life back. Lola senses Harry is not gonna be the first to open up. 

LOLA
What are you thinking? 

Harry takes a moment to gather his thoughts. Staring out of the Windshield. 

HARRY
I must be dreaming.

LOLA
It's reality Harry.

HARRY
I should be doing cartwheels. Starting a Brass Band.
My wife - Tina she's alive. 

Lola senses some negativity in Harry's mind. 

LOLA
But?

HARRY
I'm Shocked...
Overwhelmed..
and pissed off at the same time. ...

LOLA
I figured. 
(nodding)

HARRY
I saw a One Thousand Seven Hundred foot tall building fall, weighing Two Hundred And Fifty Thousand Tons, fall to the ground with Tina inside and the dust and debris consumed almost the entire of Southern Manhattan. Two years later, I see her walking happily into the arms of a man, who nearly got my brother killed and whom spent years in prison. That's some adjusting.

LOLA
Like I said 'Tina has Amnesia' - Complete memory loss. 

Harry is completely lost on the entire scenario. 

HARRY
And coincidently Hank Willis turns up to whisk her off into the Sunset and recaptures the years, he could have had, if I'd not won her heart. How convenient. 

LOLA
Tina told me about him, years ago.  He took the break up bad, after Billy put a stop to the relationship. Of course she also told me him going to prison, but after that - not much else. Except him and Jeff were friends. 

Harry shakes his head and sarcastically laughs. 

HARRY
Deep down I don't think Jeff saw it that way. Jeff's years in exile were partially down to Hank, after he blackmailed Jeff to be part of that Gemini exchange back in Seventy Nine. All because Jeff was protecting me, due to Willis's jealousy of Tina and I....Now he's come back to collect. Well he's got a war on his hands now. I've lost and sacrificed too much. Tina has a Son to reunited with and a long lost daughter to meet. 

Lola feels awkward and turns herself sideways to face Harry. Harry senses Lola is about to deliver another bombshell. 

HARRY
What is it?

Lola stutters for second. The experience has overwhelmed her, as much as it has Harry. Tina is her long term best friend. Like a sister. It's a difficult situation and the outcome following what she tells Harry, could be a range from joyous to devastation.

LOLA
Harry, Tina's memory loss, has made the situation more complicated than you think. 

Harry frowns at Lola's suggestion. 

HARRY
What do you mean? 

Again Lola pauses. Harry's pursuit of Tina, could make things harder. 

LOLA
Tina, doesn't know that's her name.
She legally now sees herself as Lucy Crawford.

Harry is stunned by this revelation. He is getting anxious now. 

HARRY
You mean to tell me, nobody has attempted to question her on her past? 

LOLA
I'm only going by, what I know. And there's something else.

Harry doesn't like the sound of Lola's tone. 

LOLA
From what I've learnt, Hank Willis has a new identity too.
He calls himself Kyle Palmer. 

HARRY
Well, I'm calling him a dead man. 
(angrily)

Lola tries to calm Harry down.  

LOLA
You can't go into this, all guns blazing, you'll frighten her. 

Harry is beside himself and he starts throwing his arms around, getting irritable and frustrated, as well as extremely confused. 

HARRY
This doesn't make any sense. Tina must have wanted to know about herself or her family. She couldn't have just woke up from a traumatic experience and decided to call herself Lucy!

Lola puts a tight grip on Harry's arm to calm him down. Harry is desperate to be with Tina. 

LOLA
I know. It's hurts me too. 

Harry goes into deep thought. He's finding it hard to relax. He starts rubbing his chin roughly. 

HARRY
That Bastard must be behind it. He's fucking with her mind. 
I bet Carla and that other psycho Bitch I was married to had a hand in it too..

Lola tries to assure Harry. 

LOLA
We don't know that. We have to rational. 

Harry then starts to shudder. His emotions get the better of him and he bursts into tears. 

HARRY
I can't lose her again Lola. I love her so much. 

Lola as well, is overcome with emotion and tears too fill her eyes. 

LOLA
I know you do. Me too. But, if you are to fight for her, we have to be cautious. 

Harry wipes his eyes. He takes a deep breath. He's reluctant to agree to Lola's terms, but he knows he can trust Tina. 

HARRY
So, what do you suggest we do? 

LOLA
Well, since you and Jack are the only ones living together at Leuka Lake, it would almost be impossible to keep this from him, due to his abilities. And...
(thinks for a moment)
How often do you think you'll see Scarlett, now she's back in your life? 

Harry thinks for a moment. 

HARRY
Her schedule could be busy. It may be difficult to keep her away. But, I'll do my best. 

LOLA
Neither Billy, Audrey and Greg can not know about what's happening. Not, until we know for sure, Tina can come to accept or remember who she is. And one more thing..if you ever do meet her...whatever you do, don't call her Tina. Call her Lucy and be cautious of Hank. Maybe, there's something we can get something on him. 

HARRY
Leave Willis to me. I'll b careful. You just worry about Tina. 

Lola is nervous, as she worries this whole situation could turn sour. 

LOLA
Harry, I want you and Tina's love to win all out. But, we can't mess this up. It could be worse, then everything we experienced. 

HARRY
Oh, I've experienced hell, since Tina's been gone. I assure you, if Bethany thought she could get away with pulling the wool over my eyes, then Hank Willis will have bigger problems by the time I'm finished with him. I will fight him 'til my last breath, until Tina realizes where her real home is.
