It was a quiet night in the hills above Speedton, as the stars shone brightly in the bleak, dark sky. It was, however, until the roaring of an engine came howling along the roadways. Following the drifting set of duel-Xenon beams was a green, blue, and yellow Amazoom, with blue windows. Driving the car was a young woman with blonde hair and green eyes behind some black-framed glasses. She managed to hold the drift through the chicane and roundabout, but when it came to the left hairpin, she overcorrected and the rear quarter panel slammed into the rockface on the left side of the road causing her to nearly roll the vehicle as it spun to a halt.

"Holy shit!" she exclaimed vulgarly as she slammed her fists on the steering wheel. "Bollocks! I almost had it..." She sighed as some other headlights came into view and she pressed the hazard light switch. The other two vehicles came to a stop, one of them a pink Driftsta and the second a yellow and blue Fast Fish.

"Couldn't hold it, Eva?" a female Russian accent came in through the call system from the Fast Fish.

"Is it that obvious?" Eva retorted, restarting the stalled Amazoom.

"I know drifting isn't your forte, but with practice, you'll get it," a male Japanese voice came from the Driftsta.

"Piss off, Jouru," Eva hissed, and the man snickered from his car.

"Sorry. Can it still drive?"

"Yeah," Eva said, pulling it into first gear and getting back up to speed as the other two followed.

"So Jouru, you think it's a lost cause?" The Russian asked.

"I'm sure it'll be fine, Katrina," Jouru said. "After all, the car still drives straight and it doesn't look like the rear suspensions gone in anyway."

"What the hell'd you just say?" a fourth voice asked through the call system.

"Uh-oh, Jenson's mad," Katrina taunted.

"Will you both just shut up!" Eva said, obviously embarrassed by her simple mistake. "I'm sorry Jenson."

"Whatever happened, let me take a look at it when you get back to the shop," Jenson said.
