At the final dungeon of The New Gate. A virtual VRMMORPG that 500,000 people were trapped inside of. Everyone calling it the Death Game similar to Sword Art Online. One of everyone’s favorite animated show. A lone player known as Shiro, who is Level 750 within the game, the highest level to ever be announced by a player, challenges the final boss known as Zorcos, God of Everything. His stats are all maxed out with; 99,999 HP, 99,999 MP, 9,999 STR, 9,999 VIT, 9,999 DEX, 9,999 AGI, 9,999 INT, and 999 Luck. The first person to ever max their stats out completely. Shiro looked at Zorcos and said, “Zorcos, God of Everything, huh? Level 1402. As expected, the enemy is tough. Let’s end it.”

Shiro ran toward Zorcos, while Zorcos was disappearing and appearing all around him in an immeasurable speed. Shiro saw that and said to himself, “He’s only got 1/8th HP left. So I need to wrack up some hits here before he starts healing himself. Because he’s a God after all. Gods are the strongest beings in history.”

Shiro put the sword in front of him and then turned it toward him saying to himself, “I hope that this works out as I planned it.”

He stopped moving and then said, “Phantom Pierce.” Shiro disappeared and appeared behind Zorcos and Zorcos stopped running and roared loudly and Shiro looked at him and Zorcos turned around pointing his sword at him. Shiro saw that and Zorcos started swinging at him with an immeasurable amount of force and speed into each swing. Shiro grunted and then a member of Shiro’s guild appeared and saw that Shiro was fighting all by himself.

Shiro growled and said, “Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost. Boost.” He saw that and then Shiro pushed Zorcos back and the guild member walked away smiling and said to himself, “Rest in peace, Shiro. It’s time for you to die.”

Shiro said, “Heaven’s Piercing State.” Shiro disappeared and slashed Zorcos in 15 different places. Zorcos turned around and he started glowing with a completely different aura and Shiro saw that and said, “Your true form, huh? Oh, this isn’t looking good for me.”

Zorcos swung his sword once and a huge wave flew toward Shiro, but Shiro jumped over it. The wave hit the ground causing an immeasurable explosion causing Shiro to fly forward a little and everyone within the world saw the smoke and asked, “What was that? An explosion. It came from the Deadlands. Are the Adventurers fighting over there?”

A member of Crescent Temple answered, "Yes. Master is fighting the final boss right now. All by himself to end the death game that they call it."

Everyone said, "Oh, that makes sense. Lord Shiro is strong after all. He's capable of taking the boss down."

Shiro yelled, “I will defeat you.”

Shiro landed on his feet and charged toward Zorcos and Zarcos sensed that and swung at Shiro again, but Shiro side stepped to the left side. The wave hit the ground again causing another explosion and Zorcos continued to swing at Shiro, but Shiro continued to dodge them.

Zorcos roared loudly and Shiro said, “Disappearing Shot.” Shiro disappeared and appeared behind Zorcos and the sword pierced the back of his chest and Zorcos grabbed Shiro and tossed him into the ground and Shiro started screaming. Shiro looked up and saw Zorcos’ sword aimed down at him, but Shiro rolled to the side and Zorcos’ sword hit the ground causing another explosion. Shiro growled and said, “I only have 15% of my HP left. I can’t afford to lose here. You only have 2% left. I need to end this with a magic spell that’ll destroy everything."

 Shiro jumped back 700 ft and appeared above ground for it to work. Zorcos saw that and roared loudly and Shiro saw that it went up to 3% and Shiro grinned and yelled, “Devil’s Favorite Child.” His sword turned into a rifle and Shiro pulled the trigger. A massive beam of light appeared from his rifle and Zorcos saw that and tilted his head slowly. A leaf appeared around him and Shiro said, “Game over.” Shiro shot the leaf and it turned into a massive bomb and it exploded and Shiro smiled standing there like nothing happened.

Zorcos was defeated and gained new titles; God Slayer, Limit Breaker, and God of Destruction. New items; God’s Body, God’s Heart, and God’s Spirit. And new skills; God’s Wave, Lightning Wave, and Energy Wave. And Shiro gained another 4 levels for how high the level boss he was. Shiro fell down toward the ground where the boss used to be and fell on his back. Shiro smiled saying, “I did it. Unleashing my ultimate skill that destroys all. Well, I beat the game. So we should be able to log out now.”

He checked his menu and saw the log out button there saying, “That’s good. As I thought. We’re all capable of going home now. It’s been a full year stuck in this world.”

The man that watched his fight exited the game immediately not wanting to see Shiro again saying, “Ragin miscalculated your power, Shiro. I guess that we’re all going home after all.”

Shiro laid there smiling at the results saying, “Time to check the Player List.”

As soon as he pulled it out, he opened it up and saw that the players were disappearing slowly. Shiro said, “I’ll wait for everyone to log out so I know that everyone is safe and out of here.”

After 20 minutes, all remaining members that were trapped within the game have officially logged out. Of all of the 500,000 people trapped inside of the game, only 45,354 survived in the end. Shiro smiled and said, “It’s great that the game ended. No more people have to die because of this game. And I wonder why the admins wanted to trap us in this game. I guess that it is time for me to log out.”

Shiro tapped the log out button and said, “I’m going to miss this place.”

Shiro disappeared and then woke up somewhere that wasn’t Earth. Shiro looked around and asked, “What is going on here? I swear that I hit the log out button. I even beat the game. But why does this look so real. Am I still trapped inside of The New Gate.”

He checked the list of people and saw that they were all logged out and said, “They are all gone. Meaning that I beat the game. It was a success. Then why am I here? What the hell is going on here? Well, let’s check if my stuff and stats are the same."

 Shiro looked at his equipment and said, “All of my equipment is still here and around.”

He opened up his stats page and saw that his numbers jumped by more than 6 times. They are now; Level 754, 603,275 HP, 601,592 MP, 69,406 STR, 63,607 VIT, 64,325 DEX, 67,895 AGI, 60,286 INT, and 6,487 Luck. Shiro said, “My god. What made them jump over that much?”

He looked at his new titles that he got and said, “God Slayer; Multiplies every stat by 5. Limit Breaker; Allows me to go past the restrictions. And God of Destruction; No Magic Affects Me. Nice. But these are like cheat codes.”

He looked around and said, “This place looks like the Raydland Plains. Meaning that Crescent Temple is nearby. Let’s try this out then.”

Shiro took out a Guide and said, “Well, as long as I have this, it’ll take me to wherever I’ve been before if this really is inside of the game still. I hope that it isn’t though. To my home.”

The Guide turned into a bird and flew away and Shiro followed it.

2: A New Soldier Appears

While Shiro was running toward his home, he stares at the wall that wasn’t there when he was in the game saying, “Hm, when did this appear? When this was a game, there wasn’t a wall like this here. It must be some time in the future. So I wonder if the Raydhelm Kingdom is still around.”

Shiro saw the castle in the background and said, “I see. It’s all the way back there. Why is it all the way back there? I guess that it got bigger after some time.”

He smiled and continued running after the Guide. Monsters appeared and Shiro used his Ancient Weapon known as Unified Stifle. A weapon that transforms into any weapon that the wielder wishes. Shiro shot them and ran without worrying about the enemies around him. He appeared at the workshop and the Guide entered the building. The soldiers within the workshop stared at it and asked, “What is that? Is that an ancient skill or something?”

Shiro looked up ahead at the building and said, “You haven’t changed one bit, Crescent Temple.”

He walked to the door and said, “I’m ho....”

He looked around and saw the soldiers and said, “Maybe not.”

They looked at Shiro and a soldier appeared in front of him and Shiro looked around and said, “Hm, this place is too small for everyone to fit in here, huh? I knew that this place was missing something.”

The soldier said, “Commoners aren’t wanted here, boy.”

Shiro said, “I honestly don’t care.”

The soldier heard that and a girl turned her head looking at the soldier. He grabbed Shiro’s shoulder and he felt a muzzle against his crotch and said, “You gotta be kidding me.”

Shiro said, “Let go of me or you’ll lose your manhood.”

He did and moved out of the way. The Captain said, “Don’t threaten one of my men.”

Shiro said, “Don’t touch me then.”

The Captain asked, “Do you not like being touched?”

Shiro pointed it at the Captain and the shotgun turned into a sniper rifle. Shiro said, “Don’t test me.”

The girl stared at Shiro and asked, “Who might you be?”

Shiro answered, “Shiro, a High Human.”

Everyone heard that and yelled, “What? A High Human. They are extinct. They disappeared 750 years ago.”

Shiro heard that and his jaw dropped and turned around saying, “I’m sorry. I’ll just leave now.”

The girl heard that and Shiro walked toward the door and then a voice appeared asking, “Is there a reason why you are here?”

Shiro grabbed his Guide and answered, “Nope. Just pretend that I wasn’t here.”

Shiro walked away and the girl looked at the girl at the counter and asked, “Do you know him?”

She answered, “Nope. Never seen him before in my life.”

Shiro sat down against the wall that was built saying, “750 years have past since the game ended, huh? Have I been reincarnated in this world using my gaming character? I don’t actually want to think about it. I just want to go home. That’s all.”

Grostic Bear appeared and Shiro looked at it and said, “Hi. It’s been awhile since I saw one of you. Level 35, huh?” Shiro sniped it and the Grostic Bear collapsed and Shiro just continued to sit against the wall thinking to himself.

After awhile Shiro fell asleep out there. A total of 10 Big Fanged Wolves started to appear around him. Of the Levels 290-320. They started laying down next to him and Shiro had a smile on his face the entire time he slept. 30 minutes later, the knights from the Crescent Temple appeared and saw that the Big Fanged Wolves were laying around Shiro and the girl asked, “Just who is that man? He tamed 10 Big Fanged Wolves just by sleeping.”

The Captain asked, “Shall we deal with them? Or let the wolves have there way?”

Shiro moved his hand on to one of the Big Fanged Wolves and started rubbing its head saying, “It’s nice to meet you again, Juna.”

Everyone heard that and said, “He’s talking in his sleep. Wait, he just said Lady Juna’s name. What is their connection?”

The girl said, “Let’s go home. He’s insane.”

The Big Fanged Wolf that Shiro was petting woke up and bit his hand off and Shiro woke up and looked around him and saw that they were asleep and said, “Oh, it’s just a Big Fanged Wolf. Good night wolves.”

They heard that and the wolf that was eating his hand stopped and spit it out and Shiro smiled and said, “Eat it if you want. My hand will grow back.”

The girl said, “He’s insane.”

Shiro closed his eyes and started sleeping immediately. The wolf that took his hand started eating it again. And then went back to sleep. After 5 hours have passed, an unknown soldier wearing dark black heavy armor from no known kingdom appeared in front of Shiro and sat down in front of him saying, “Truly fascinating.”

The wolves heard that and started growling and Shiro said, “Be quiet, will ya? A man’s trying to sleep here.”

The wolves stopped and the soldier said, “Sorry about that. Didn’t mean to wake you up. I’m just here for the Crescent Temple.”

Shiro opened his eyes and said, “I see. It’s over there.”

The soldier said, “I know. Tell me something, what level are you?”

Shiro asked, “Why do you ask?”

She answered, “The only reason that I can think of them sleeping next to you is because of your high level. So I was wondering what your level was.”

Shiro said, “Well, I’m 754.”

The soldier heard that and said, “754, huh? You seem that strong.”

She looked at him and then started crawling backwards and yelled, “What? You are Level 754?”

Shiro answered, “Yes. Is that a surprise?”

The soldier answered, “Yes. No one has ever gotten that high. The highest we adventurers got were 750, and that was a High Human from 750 years ago.”

Shiro said, “Oh, I see. Well, I’m 754.”

The soldier sighed and said, “Well, I don’t believe you. And I’m here to ask for Lady Juna’s help.”

Shiro asked, “Is that so? What’s the situation?”

The soldier answered, “I am a soldier from an unknown kingdom that no one knows about except for the Folgold Empire. We’re the Platoid Kingdom.”

Shiro said, “Shit. She won’t want to help you if that’s its name.”

She said, “Let me finish, will ya?”

Shiro heard that and answered, “I apologize. Keep going.”

She said, “But it has a secondary name known as Sanctuary.”

Shiro said, “Now that’s much better.”

She sighed and said, “Shut up and let me speak.”

Shiro nodded and then she said, “The kingdom was formed by the idea of the legendary Shiro and his friends that fought alongside him of a kingdom that holds every race in it so we can all co-exist. But there’s an empire that doesn’t want us to exist.”

Shiro said, “The Folgold Empire.”

She said, “Exactly. They despise the idea of us living together in harmony and is willing to cause a Civil War because of it.”

Shiro said, “They want to destroy the kingdom to start a Civil War, huh?”

She answered, “Yes. Oh yeah, we haven’t introduced ourselves yet, have we?”

Shiro answered, “Now that you mention it, no we didn’t.”

She sighed and said, “I humbly apologize about that. I just need Juna’s help so we can end this war. I’m Captain Elisa Adonia. A soldier in Sanctuary’s Army out here to get people to help us with the war.”

Shiro said, “I see. I’m Shiro, just plain Shiro. Nice to meet you. Plus, I’m friends with Juna myself.”

Elisa asked, “Are you sure about that?”

Shiro looked at the wolves and answered, “Yes. Let’s go to the Crescent Temple then.”

Elisa said, “Agreed.”

3: The Girl at the Counter

Shiro stood up and started walking away. The Big Fanged Wolves looked at them and Shiro sighed and turned around saying, “Stay put. I’ll be back.”

They laid back down and Elisa said, “They really love you.”

Shiro said, “Yep. Those Big Fanged Wolves are a real pain in the ass to deal with, so train yourself in your sleep. Works every time.”

Elisa laughed and Shiro said to himself, “Let’s see how much Crescent Temple has changed since I’ve been here.”

While they walked toward Crescent Temple, the Queen of Raydhelm asked, “Do you think that the boy is still alive?”

The Captain answered, “Nope. There isn’t any chance of anyone taming a Big Fanged Wolf. Plus, they already bit his hand off. He’s probably been devoured already.”

The Queen said, “I see.”

While they were talking, Juna Drewes, a High Elf, and Acting Manager of Crescent Temple walked in saying, “I have completed the request.”

The Queen said, “That’s good to know. By the way, you might want to head over to your shop. Some Human appeared earlier and was attacked by 10 Big Fanged Wolves.”

Juna heard that and said, “I see. I’ll take my payment and leave then.”

She nodded and the Prime Minister of the Raydhelm Kingdom handed her the money and said, “Thank you for your service.”

Juna looked at her and said, “You're welcome.”

The Princesses looked at her and Juna started walking away. The Queen saw that and said, “I wonder if he’s still alive.”

Back at Crescent Temple. The girl at the counter said, “Oh, you are the man that stood up to the soldiers before you stormed out after hearing that its been 750 years since the last of the High Humans were here.”

Shiro said, “Yeah, sorry about that. I needed to cool down after hearing that. Uh, she’s here for Juna Drewes. The same reason why I’m here.”

She said, “I see. Well, she just got back to Raydhelm, so she’ll be here soon.”

Elisa asked, “How long is soon?”

She answered, “A couple hours.”

Elisa said, “I don’t have a couple hours to waste, Shiro. Sanctuary is in danger and we need strong people.”

Shiro smiled and said, “If you need strong people, head to the Imperial Capital. They got the strongest army in this world.”

The girl asked, “How do you know that?”

Shiro answered, “My friend runs it. He and I came up with an idea to create a free trade system. I don’t know if he’s alive now or not though.”

Elisa said, “I already went there. I was turned down in an instant.”

Shiro said, “That’s because you don’t give off an aura of wanting to protect your kingdom, Elisa. You want your friends to know how capable you are.”

The girl asked, “How would you know about that?”

Shiro answered, “Well, my friend despises me because I always overpower him in every way possible.”

Elisa said, “Wait, I never met a cat person before.”

Shiro heard that and looked at her asking, “What are you talking about? She’s an Elf.”

Elisa said, “No, I see cat-ears.”

Shiro said, “I see an Elf. She’s got black hair. Blue eyes. And is quite beautiful.”

The girl looked at him and said, “Wait, you can see through Master’s illusion.”

Shiro answered, “Yes. I did train Juna after all.”

Elisa heard that and asked, “Just how old are you?”

Shiro answered, “Normally, I’d say that I’m 21 years old. But I’m chronologically 771 years old now.”

The girl said, “Just like Master. Meaning that you are from the old generation.”

Shiro asked, “What’s that about?”

Elisa answered, “There are two generations. Old and New. New generations is us. We are unable to do most things that the Old generation is capable of doing. They can gather skills easier than us New gen. people.”

The girl said, “Yeah. I never thought that there were more than just her. But I guess that I was wrong. By the way, you said that you might know the man that runs the Imperial Capital.”

Shiro said, “Yep. She was a Human, so she shouldn’t still be alive.”

The girl said, “I see. I only met the Empress once.”

Shiro asked, “Is she nice?”

The girl answered, “Nope. But every person from your generation keeps saying the same thing. He’ll be back soon.”

Shiro heard that and said, “I see. Do you know who they are referring to?”

The girl answered, “Nope.”

Shiro put the sword back on the shelf and Elisa looked at him and Shiro walked toward the counter and sat down on the stool and said, “So, what brings you to Crescent Temple, Elf?”

Elisa said, “She’s a cat-girl.”

Shiro said, “It’s just an illusion put up by Juna. She’s actually an Elf.”

The girl looked at him and asked, “Do you know why that she put the illusion up?”

Shiro answered, “Yes. You are cursed. And the barrier out there broke. So the Monsters are getting closer.”

Elisa said, “Meaning that she’s the reason why the Big Fanged Wolves were sleeping with you.”

Shiro answered, “Well, she’s the reason why they came to this area. She’s got a curse known as Cursed Gift. Monsters come at her everywhere she goes. So she can’t go anywhere to ask for help.”

Elisa heard that and said, “So an illusion is the best method.”

Shiro answered, “Nope. The Monsters could still smell her. So she’s dead meat if she steps out those doors.”

Elisa said, “So harsh.”

Shiro said, “Don’t worry. I know how to cure it, Elf.”

She heard that and said, “Oh, I should have introduced myself earlier. I’m Nova Bell.”

Shiro said, “Shiro.”

Elisa said, “Captain Elisa Adonia.”

Shiro said, “Hm, let’s see. Is there a way to cure Cursed Gift?”

Elisa answered, “Fighting the Monsters after her.”

Nova answered, “I’ll die for sure.”

Shiro looked around and then said, “Purify might be able to take care of it.”

Elisa heard that and said, “Meaning one of those Priest people.”

Nova said, “I can’t go to them. The Monster’s will attack the city.”

Shiro said, “No need to go anywhere. I’ll be the one performing it.”

Elisa asked, “Are you a Priest?”

Shiro answered, “Hell no. I’m an Unclassified Adventurer. So there is no need for me to be a Priest.”

Nova said, “So that’s why your shotgun transformed into a sniper rifle.”

Shiro said, “Yes. It’s known as Unified Stifle. An Ancient Class Weapon that I built myself actually. And it works effectively.”

Nova asked, “What do you need me to do? Strip or something?”

Shiro smiled and answered, “Nah, just stand still.”

Nova heard that and said, “Really?”

Shiro put his hand out and said, “Purify.”

Elisa and Nova heard that and Nova started glowing and asked, “What’s happening to me?”

Shiro answered, “Be patient.”

A couple seconds later, the glow went away and Shiro said, “Hm?”

Elisa asked, “What’s wrong? Did it not work?”

Shiro answered, “No, it worked. Just only a partial amount of your hair has turned back to its original color of silver.”

Nova heard that and asked, “Really?”

Shiro answered, “Yes. I’m sorry that I....”

She looked into the mirror and Shiro saw that and saw that she was smiling and she jumped over the counter and said, “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

Shiro heard that and said, “No problem.”

Elisa looked at Shiro and Shiro looked at the wall and said to himself, “I wonder if I was ever this nice in the real world. This world sure turned me soft. Hahahaha.”

He was smiling and then started patting her on the head saying, “Oh yeah, I guess that I’ll have you send a message for me then.”

Nova heard that and asked, “What would you like me to send her?”

Shiro answered, “This.”

Shiro took out a blade that is used by Juna and said, “This is Red Autumn, Juna’s personal weapon.”

Nova said, “Nothing surprises me anymore. So this is Master’s weapon.”

Shiro answered, “Yep. If she remembers it, come to the Imperial Capital. We’ll meet there.”

Nova said, “But she’s just inside of the kingdom.”

Shiro said, “Her kingdom needs help now. If nothing is done, all of the races in the world will start killing each other. Creating a Civil War.”

Nova heard that and said, “I see. Good luck with your mission.”

Shiro smiled and said, “Let’s go.”

4: Juna Meets Up With Shiro

Nova said, “I hope that you can stop that war from happening.”

Shiro said, “I hope that we can stop it as well.”

Elisa asked, “Wait, why are we going to the Imperial Capital? Is there something that I don’t know about?”

Shiro answered, “Well, I might be able to help you get some of the Empresses soldiers.”

Elisa said, “Really?”

Shiro answered, “Yeah, if my prediction is right, she doesn’t like being talked down to.”

Elisa said, “That’s not a good thing, Shiro.”

Shiro laughed and said, “That’s why we’re going to do it.”

Nova said, “You are an idiot.”

Shiro said, “Oh yeah, you should go outside to check if the curse is gone. You’ll be able to explore like you used to before coming to the Crescent Temple.”

Nova asked, “How’d you know about that?”

Shiro answered, “A skill called Overwhelming Knowledge. Meaning that if I look at something, info about the thing or person or being will pop up. Let’s go. I know that you don’t want to be stuck in here for the rest of your life.”

Elisa heard that and Nova asked, “What about the wolves?”

Shiro took out his weapon and asked, “What about them?”

Nova saw the gun and said, “You plan on killing the Monsters.”

Shiro answered, “I tamed them so that they could protect me while I sleep. Now that I have a reason to be awake, they don’t need to live anymore.”

Elisa said, “You truly are cold-hearted.”

Shiro said, “A Monster is just a Monster in the end, Elisa. You should know that. Unless you tame something worth taming like a Sacred Beast. Those things are amazing. But to tame a Divine Beast is even more incredible than taming a Sacred Beast.”

They walked out of the Crescent Temple and the wolves were asleep guarding the place where Shiro was sleeping from before. Nova screeched and Shiro smiled and said, “No Monsters whatsoever coming this way.”

Nova looked around and Shiro smiled and petted her head saying, “There is no need to worry about being attacked by Monsters anymore. Well, we gotta go now. You can feel free to roam around without needing to over your shoulders anymore. Also, feel free to contact me whenever you want.”

Nova ran back into the building and then Shiro saw that and Elisa asked, “Is she scared of something?”

Shiro answered, “Nope. I think that she’s getting something.”

Elisa said, “Well, that would make sense. She is free after all.”

Shiro said, “Cursed Gift. She had to deal with that for 205 years. It’s rough to live that kind of life having Monsters want you dead your entire life.”

Elisa said, “You’re right about that.”

Shiro said, “We should get going.”

Elisa asked, “What about Nova?”

Nova appeared and said, “Here you go. This is a Letter of Recommendation. You can use this to get inside of any kingdom or country without going through inspection.”

Elisa said, “I wish that I could get one, but that’s how life is.”

Shiro laughed and said, “Don’t worry about it. We gotta get going now.”

The wolves woke up and appeared next to them and Nova saw that and Shiro’s sniper turned into a gun controlled by a string and Elisa asked, “What are you planning on doing with that?”

Shiro answered, “You might want to get away from me when I do this.”

Elisa screeched and ran forward and Shiro dropped the gun and the wolves looked up and started barking at him and Shiro said, “Nothing’s the matter. Just losing my weapon, that’s all.”

Nova heard that and looked at him and then the gun went off and Shiro started swinging it around like a madman with bullets flying into each of them faster than Nova expected and after 2 seconds, they were all on the ground and Shiro tossed the gun up and caught it with his hand saying, “Bingo.”

Nova’s jaw dropped and said, “Just 2 seconds to take out 10 Big Fanged Wolves.”

Shiro said, “Yes. I could do it in the blink of an eye, but I don’t want to take my sword out yet.”

Elisa said, “Yeah, we should get going now. The kingdom can’t wait any longer.”

Shiro took off and said, “Don’t forget to tell her to meet us at the Imperial Capital.”

Nova said, “Understood.”

Shiro appeared next to Elisa and Elisa said, “I should let you do all of the talking, right?”

Shiro answered, “Yes. You should.”

Elisa said, “Understood. But I need to ask this. Are you stronger than the strongest being in this world, Juna?”

Shiro answered, “Yes I am. A lot stronger in fact. High Humans are Monsters after all.”

Elisa sighed and then at the south gate of the Raydhelm Kingdom, Juna ran toward Crescent Temple. Nova was humming and Juna appeared by the 10 Big Fanged Wolf corpses and asked, “What happened to them? The barrier shattered it seems. I hope that no Monsters got to Nova. Please be safe.”

She ran into the Crescent Temple and saw that Nova was smiling and asked, “What happened while I was gone?”

Nova answered, “Oh Master, a man cured me from the Cursed Gift. He said that he knew you.”

Juna asked, “Do you know where he is now?”

Nova answered, “Yes. He said that you’ll find him at the Imperial Capital. It seems that he’s going to help a kingdom known as Sanctuary.”

Juna said, “I see. Wait, that’s my personal weapon. Did he leave any message?”

Nova answered, “If you remember this weapon, come to the Imperial Capital. But I think that he already knows that you’ll catch up to them.”

Juna heard that and asked, “Who is them?”

Nova answered, “Shiro and some knight from Sanctuary.”

Juna said, “Shiro, wait, did he have silver hair? Silver eyes?”

Nova answered, “Yes. Why? Is something the matter?”

Juna asked, “Which way did they go?”

Nova heard that and looked at her and answered, “Straight that way. Why are you so flustered?”

Juna answered, “Master is back.”

She grabbed her weapon and took off saying, “Keep an eye on the shop for me.”

Nova said, “‘Master is back.’ What does she mean by that?”

Juna picked up the pace and back to where Elisa and Shiro was. Shiro looked at his map and saw a blue dot coming toward them and fast saying, “It seems that she’s gotten my message already.”

Elisa asked, “Who?”

Shiro answered, “Juna. She’s already here.”

Elisa heard that and Juna appeared in front of him and hugged him saying, “I missed you so much, Master. Where have you been these 750 years?”

Shiro answered, “We’ll talk while we run to the Imperial Capital.”

Juna said, “She isn’t going to be too happy to see you, you know?”

Elisa asked, “Why?”

Juna answered, “She doesn’t like it when Shiro argues with her. And her Prime Ministers of each country don’t like the idea of people talking back to her. By the way, did you kill those 10 Big Fanged Wolves?”

Shiro answered, “Yes. I wanted to show off a little bit.”

Juna laughed and said, “Seems like you.”

Shiro laughed and then Juna said, “But you shouldn’t be laughing. As soon as we get to the Imperial Capital, I believe that she’ll ask for you to talk about pressing matters.”

Elisa heard that and Shiro asked, “What do you mean by that?”

Juna answered, “I rather not say in front of your knight friend here.”

Shiro smiled and said, “If we don’t stop the Folgold Empire, we won’t have to worry about what she’s going to tell me. So you might as well tell me now.”

Juna said, “She will tell you I’m afraid.”

Shiro said, “It’s that confidential.”

Juna answered, “Yes.”

Shiro said, “Meaning that this world really has gone to shit while I was gone.”

Juna said, “I’m afraid so.”
