Just another quick note for all who may be reading this.. Its my first time actually posting something I've written before so don't go expecting it to be too great either for I'm still new with writing itself ;P That won't stop me from trying to make this as enjoyable as possible though. I'm not sure what more to say expect Leo is my precious baby. You can't have him.
Who did he murder this time? Maybe it was his sweet neighbor that had the nick knack of bringing him pastries every Friday? Or could it be that one little kid that loved coming over to his apartment for his cooking? Well all he knew now that whoever it was he could no longer stay here anymore.. Not even in this state.. It happened all to many times here.. People would catch onto what was happening.. Then more would die and die while he stood over the towering bodies, laughing.
With those thoughts in his head, Leo was miserably scrubbing at the blood stained carpet and walls. The so called "Cupcakes" were already taken care of. They were In the trash with the rest of the body parts and clothes he had found all over the living room and in his bathroom shower and bathtub. Honestly why did to happen to him? He took his medicine on a daily basis, sometimes a bit more than he was supposed to.. It was supposed to help him with his problem or to be more frank his split personality which he had taken to calling Leon.. The murderous side of him that took over control and went on a killing spree with whatever living thing was around him.. And from the bits of memory he was able to remember, Leon seemed to take fun of torturing his victims slowly in different ways; trying to see what kinds of screams and pleas he could muster up from them till finally the victim ended up dying from Blood loss. Once the victim had died then Leon would proceed to make them into pastries.. Hence why now he couldn't stomach them.. Every time he saw donuts or a cookie, all Leo could imagine was some person or animal being baked into that thing. Into that pastry where every day people could enjoy them while he stayed with his dark secrets.. Why he would throw out so many pastries.. His neighbors always did wonder why..
He shuddered and decided that the tiny hint of red would hardly be too noticeable. He finally stopped scrubbing and got up from his kneeling position, removing the plastic gloves he had one which had become stained with red. Red.. It was always Red.. Not some other color just that vile color Red. He dropped the gloves onto the floor before he walked down his hallway and made a left into his room stopping at the door way frame for a second to stare at the small briefcase he had already packed before hand. He walked over to it slowly, already planning to relocate to a new area.. Perhaps the woods would be the best place to go too. At least there he wouldn't be a threat to anyone except the wildlife but then again Leon preferred killing people than animals.. So it was the woods.. Some place far away from civilization.. Going off the grid and living the rest of his days slowly losing his mind.. It was better that way than waking up to someone dead and scattered around whatever room he was in. Leo shook his head once again, now was not the time to get lost in thought.
Now was the time to get out of here as quickly as possible.. Before someone found out or before he ended up hurting or killing someone once again. Before His Meds stopped working again.. He picked up the briefcase quickly and got out of his apartment room quickly. He walked past the big black plastic bag he had next to his corridor, he wouldn't bother to go throw it out for by the time he was out and gone, it would be too late for the authorities to track him down. br /He stopped once more at his front door, once out of that door he would start a new life of isolation. A life that would definitely be a lonely one for the first couple of months.. Maybe years.. It would definitely be hard for him.. He was used being able to talk to people.. To socialize and make friends.. Honestly that's what most 20 year olds would be doing right now on this fine Saturday morning.. Not worrying about the fact that they murdered someone or the fact that they have a split personality disorder.. Some days Leo had wondered why did he have to have it.. Then he realized that it was better him to have it than someone else.. That way they wouldn't have had to suffer like he was now.. It was time now to go.. br /Leo opened the door hesitantly, peeking out to make sure no one was out before he slipped out quickly and headed down the stairs to the first floor. His heart fell a bit when he saw two of his neighbors were talking today, so it was that one sweet one that often brought him pastries for he didn't see the man talking with the other two. "Good morning!" He said in a cheerful tone to the two ladies who were talking to each other, one of them had a small child with her. "Oh good morning Leo! How are you?" One of them exclaimed while the small child or to be exact small girl that went by the name Angie ran up to him, saying good morning too with a big smile. "Good morning to you to Angie." He said in a soft tone, giving her a warm smile. This was definitely going to be one thing he missed.. Seeing Angie every Saturday afternoon when he babysat her.. It was for the best though.. And it definitely was a lot better for this innocent child's fate.. At least he wouldn't wake up covered in her blood.
Well it was nice running into you here but I have to go now. I need to return this briefcase to my mother." He bided to them, lifting the brown briefcase up momentarily before waving good bye as he walked to the main entrance. "Bye bye Leoo. I can't wait to you see later~" One childish voice called out to him. It made him smile slightly and He twist the urge to look back once to give her a goofy grin as he opened the door. He was rewarded by the small child bursting out into laughter and even the two women let out a small snort at his behavior. Now it was time to go before he found more ways to stall his inevitable fate.. Leo didn't look back again as he stepped outside, leaving the red door to slam shut behind him. He was starting to feel sick again and the cool morning breeze wasn't helping the feeling either. What did he expect though.. Lying always made him feel bad and there wasn't a loophole to not lying.. Expect telling the truth.. Though telling the truth would only end up with him landed into a mental facility plant where eventually there his other side would somehow find a way to harm even more people in there, sick or not.
Shaking his head once more, he started to walk down the small pathway to the parking lot.. Encountering one of the downstairs neighbors on his way back to the apartment complex. "Er Fine morning today Jim isn't it?" Leo said in the friendliest voice he could muster at this point even if it was conflicting with his feelings. "Indeed it is Leo.. Very fine indeed.. You seem to be awfully cheerful today. Any thing happened recently?' Jim speculated as he walked closer to the brunette. "Though one would think you wouldn't be so cheerful after last night.." Jim added, staring down Leo as he started to fidget. "What do you mean? Is reading something to not have me happy in the morning like I am everyday?" Leo countered back, growing increasingly nervous. Did he know..? Did he figure it out..? Was he going to be apprehended now.. Were more goi- "You seem to have forgotten that my apartment room is just below yours Leo.. I heard everything. I suggest you better leave.. Time's ticking and you only have eight minutes left." Jims voice snapped him out of his thoughts as his eyes widened at the statement. He knew everything.. He knew what he did.. No.. No no.. "I-I didn't mean it.. It's.. Oh gods.." Leo stammered more to himself, his eyes started to glisten a bit with unshed tears as the feeling of throwing up became more prominent at each passing second. He knew.. People were coming.. He HAD to get out now.. With that last thought in mind, he rushed past Jim, his own breathing now becoming in irregular short pants as his heartbeat sped up.
His breathing did not calm down till he was in his red Mazda 6 and a good hour away from the apartment complex. No doubt now.. He needed to get out of state and to an isolated place far away from human contact.. But where? He didn't think there was somewhere with a good woods place in the United states.. Wait.. There was always Alaska.. That's right Alaska had a ton of Forest and Mountainous areas.. Plus it wasn't to highly populated.. It would be the perfect place to go to get away from civilization. Now that he got the location the problem was how to get there.. He could always just drive there though from Michigan to Alaska would be a pretty long drive.. Though he could just take a plane to there.. It would be risky though.. What would he do if he snapped and had his other side murder everyone on the plane? Then again if he went with his car and he had to cross the borders, there might already be a report to look out for his car.. It would have to be on the plane and he would have to risk it.. That's just great.. He would have to hope that his medication would actually work for the plane ride.
The drive to the air port wasn't too eventful though there was already an report out to keep an eye out for his red Mazda.. No name plate though.. Looks like Jim hadn't included it or he just didn't know it.. He hoped it was the latter... Leo sighed to himself as he avoided trying not to bump into people that were also trying to leave and at the same time people who were trying to enter the airport. It was quite hard and more than a couple of times he had to say sorry for bumping into someone and in the end he normally got a dirty look from some couple or lone person. A couple of minutes of bumping into people later he was finally purchasing a ticket to the latest air plane flight to Alaska. A couple of more hours of waiting.. Hopefully by the time the plane is ready to leave he wouldn't be apprehended by the police.. Or just recognized in general.. Maybe it would be in his best interest to take his medication now.. It would be a lot harder to recognize if he didn't start randomly stabbing people out of the blue. It would be another risk he was taking.. If he did manage to overdose on his pills at least he wouldn't be a danger to people in anymore. The problem would be dead... Though he wasn't suicidal and he wouldn't kill him self on purpose..
Leo looked forlornly at his brown briefcase once before he picked it up from the chair next to him and placed it on his lap. From there he unzipped the briefcase and took out the small orange container from there. He applied a bit of pressure on the lid before twisting it open. Twelve more pills left.. About nine hours for these pills to last that have a twelve hour lasting effect.. He would have to get more once this plane ended.. Or just hope that these will last till he can find a place to settle down.. From there he can figure out what to do if he runs out of pills.. He dropped three of the brightly colored pills onto his left hands palm before he placed them in his mouth, swallowing them dry. It wouldn't hurt him if he didn't take these three pills once without water.. Besides he already did it a couple of times and for some reason they seemed to work better.. Or at least he thought that.. He could always be wrong too.. Still it wouldn't hurt him either to hope that these pills would work and by the end of the day he wouldn't be surrounded by dead bodies.. Even worse, Pastries.. Those horrible sweets of death.. He never understood why people liked them.. Even with his thing against them he had tried eating one.. Later that day he ended up getting sick from it.. He couldn't understand why people liked it being so sweet.. It was like a sugar comatose.. Gosh pastries were not good at all.. For those next couple of hours, Leo was lost in his own thought as people had passed by and tons of planes had taken off while others returned. It wasn't till his flight was announced that they would start boarding the plane did he finally stop thinking for once.
