While everyone was chosen to go to Ragnarok Academy, only one man wasn’t chosen. His name was Thomas Death, a man that gave his soul getting the sword called The Destroyer of Worlds. The sword was planted in a stone in the middle of Helios. He was 6 years old when he got the sword and now he is 17 years old.

While he was in a store looking at magazines, the Kelly’s Faction, Jake Brewer and his goons walked toward the store that Thomas was in and said, “Here we are. The final shop in Helios.”

They walked inside and the owner asked, “How may I help you?”

Jake looked around and answered, “We want your Material. The Material that powers up our weapons.”

The owner heard that and Thomas continued to look around the store looking for magazines to read.

Jake asked, “Where are they?”

The owner answered, “In the back.”

Jake said, “Thank you.”

They started walking into the back and the owner stared at them and called the police and the officers asked, “What’s wrong?”

The owner answered, “The Jack-of-all-Trades is about to get robbed. Please help.”

The officers said, “OK. Do you know who?”

The owner answered, “Nope. I never seen them before.”

They saw Thomas while they were walking and Thomas said, “Maybe this magazine would be good.”

He opened it and started looking at it and Jake appeared behind Thomas and asked, “Where’s the Material?”

Thomas answered, “Up yours.”

Jake heard that and Jake’s goons aimed their swords at him and Jake said, “I’ll only say it one more time. Where are the Materials that upgrade our weapons?”

Thomas heard that and pointed at Jake and Jake turned around and Thomas said, “It’s everywhere. If you can’t find it, then get out. And don’t bother me while I’m reading.”

Jake heard that and said, “You bastard. You were pointing at me.”

Thomas said, “Yes I was. Even if I knew where the Materials were, I wouldn’t tell you.”

Jake grinned and asked, “Who are you?”

Thomas answered, “A man that has lived a short life.”

They heard that and Jake said, “Look at us when we speak to you.”

Thomas said, “No can do.”

The owner looked at them and Jake said, “Kill him.”

They swung at him and the swords hit him and chopped him up into 3 pieces and his body vanished completely and Jake said, “A fake. Where’s his real body? What the hell is this?”

The goons turned around and looked for him and Jake grinned and said, “Screw it. Let’s get out of here. The Materials aren’t here.”

The owner hid himself and then they heard sirens and Jake yelled, “Run. The cops are here.”

Thomas heard the sirens and walked to the edge of the top of the building and saw the lights of the police cars and said, “Cops, huh. What happened down there?”

Jake started climbing the ladder to get to the top of the building where Thomas is at and the goons went as well and the police saw that and said, “Climb the ladder on the other side of the building.”

They said, “Yessir.”

As soon as Jake got to the top, Thomas appeared and Thomas looked at him and said, “You are the cause of the police. And you are bringing them to this building. You got a lot of nerve to disturb my slumber.”

Jake heard that and asked, “Who are you?”

Thomas answered, “You don’t need to know that, old man.”

Thomas put his hand behind his back and Jake saw that and his goons appeared and swung at Thomas again, but this time, Thomas blocked their attacks and Jake looked at him and said, “You little. How dare you defy the Kelly’s Faction?”

Thomas said, “I don’t give a damn who you are. Just go back where you came from.”

Jake said, “Nope.”

Thomas swung the sword and they flew back and hit their backs on the edge of the building and Jake looked at him and the police arrived at the top and said, “Thomas Death, we finally found you after 11 years of searching. Where were you hiding?”

Thomas grinned and yelled, “You brought the cops to my home. Now you will regret that.”

Jake heard that and started running away from him and Thomas said, “It’s useless.”

Thomas swung at him and the officers appeared and blocked his attack and Jake laughed and his helicopter appeared and he jumped on along with his goons and Thomas grinned and then the officers put him down on the ground and said, “Calm down. We’re not here to arrest you or take you back. We have a report from the headmaster of Ragnarok Academy. She wants you to join the school.”

Thomas grinned and said, “Never. I don’t take orders from anyone.”

The headmaster of Ragnarok Academy, Rosa Peterson appeared in front of Thomas and said, “Thomas Death, I’m Rosa Peterson, the headmaster at Ragnarok Academy. I was wondering what your goal in life was.”

Thomas answered, “Living a life outside of the world. Sleep whenever I want. Never take orders from anyone. Do what I want for a living. And that’s all.”

Rosa sighed and said, “You truly are an idiot.”

Thomas grinned and Rosa said, “You called this place your home. Why?”

Thomas answered, “I live on the roof. Roofs of buildings. You can’t stop me from living here. I’ve been sleeping up here for 11 years. So stop trying to stop me.”

Rosa said, “No one is trying to stop you. Do you know if you had a sister?”

Thomas answered, “Yes, she’s 2 years older than me and is a student at Ragnarok Academy. Her name is Trish Hurst. What about her?”

Rosa answered, “She requested you to join. We just need your signature.”

Thomas heard that and said, “She requested it. I guess that I have no choice then.”

Rosa asked, “Why’s that?”

Thomas answered, “When we were living together, Trish was like the boss around the house. Even dad and mom were afraid of her. You anger her, you feel her wrath. I angered her a lot. And I got my ass whooped all the time. Well, then I found the Destroyer of Worlds in the middle of Helios. Picked it up and now look at me.”

Rosa said, “I see. No wonder why she abuses people.”

Thomas smiled and Rosa said, “It’s ok. You can let go of him. But before you sign this, who were the people that you were attacking?”

Thomas answered, “Some man mentioned Kelly’s Faction.”

Rosa said, “I see.”

Thomas said, “And they are after the Materials that help upgrade their weapons.”

Rosa heard that and said, “OK. You may sign now.”

Thomas did and handed her the papers and pen and said, “Well, I’m really going to hate this.”

Rosa said, “Well, meet you tomorrow at the carrier that we’ll be using to get to Ragnarok Academy.”

Thomas said, “See you then.”

Thomas climbed down the ladder and said, “Damn you Trish.”

Thomas walked to the store and said, “Mr. Owner person, I have a question for you.”

The owner heard that and asked, “Are they gone?”

Thomas answered, “Yes. It’s safe now.”

The owner walked out of the hole in the wall and Thomas said, “Nice hiding spot sir.”

The owner said, “You have a question.”

Thomas said, “Yes I do. Where are the Materials really?”

The owner answered, “Hidden. I wouldn’t tell them shit. Except accidentally pointing at you.”

Thomas said, “So my clone was attacked by them.”

The owner said, “It was a clone. Oh well, they did attack you.”

Thomas took out money and said, “I’d like to buy some from you. It seems that I’ll be going to Ragnarok Academy.”

The owner heard that and said, “Congrats. That’s a huge achievement.”

Thomas said, “I wasn’t admitted into the school. I’m being forced to go by my older sister.”

The owner said, “I see. Follow me then.”

Thomas said, “I will.”

The owner walked to the magazines and touched the middle of the bookshelf and it went in and the magazines started to move to the side and Thomas saw that and said, “Holy shit. That’s cool as hell.”

The owner said, “Yes it is. Well, here you are.”

Thomas walked into the secret room and looked at the parts and then took his sword out and Rosa looked at him and the owner said, “Choose wisely. That sword has a lot of power. So you would need something with a lot of power to help upgrade it.”

Thomas asked, “Like what? This is my first time looking at these things.”

The owner smiled and said, “OK. Do you see the one that looks like fire?”

Thomas answered, “Yeah. What about it?”

The owner said, “That one is the only one that I have that will fit your swords needs.”

Thomas heard that and said, “Really? That sucks.”

Thomas took it off of the hook and asked, “How much is it?”

The owner said, “Because it is so rare, it’s 900,000 Division Caps.”

Thomas heard that and said, “And that’s all the money that I got as well. Here you go.”

The owner took the bag of money and said, “Let’s head over to the checkout and we’ll get that Phoenix Flame on to your sword.”

Thomas said, “OK.”

They walked to the counter and Rosa was there and the owner said, “Wait just a minute.”

Thomas looked at her and stopped in front of the counter and the owner counted the money and said, “Good enough. It’s the full 900,000.”

Thomas said, “Of course it is.”

The owner put the money away and then said, “Hand me your sword please.”

Thomas put it on the counter and the owner said, “This weapon is a masterpiece. But if you really want to take down a dragon with this thing, you’ll need the legendary Materials. No store holds them. You’ll need to go on a journey to find the legendary Materials.”

Thomas said, “I see. So rare’s aren’t strong enough.”

The owner said, “I’m afraid so. I used to be a Hunter. So I know a lot.”

Rosa smiled and the owner opened up the swords core and saw that it was empty and said, “You’ve been using it like this for how long?”

Thomas answered, “11 years.”

They heard that and the owner said, “And it’s still in perfect shape, huh. Well, this will put it back to normal. And it’ll be a lot stronger than it was before.”

Thomas said, “That’s good.”

The owner put it inside and then closed it and said, “There you go. Your weapon has been upgraded.”

Thomas said, “Thank you.”

Thomas took the sword and hit the button that was on the bottom of it and flames started to appear around it and then he hit the button again and the flames disappeared and said, “Perfect.”

The owner saw that and said, “Well, thank you for your business.”

Thomas nodded and Rosa asked, “What do you intend on doing?”

Thomas answered, “Going on a journey.”

Rosa heard that and said, “You had to mention the legendary Materials.”

The owner asked, “Why?”

Thomas screeched and said, “On second thought, I might want to go to Ragnarok Academy.”

The owner asked, “What did I miss?”

Rosa answered, “His sister is forcing him to go to Ragnarok Academy. The Demon and the Soulless Man. I wonder how this is going to go.”

Rosa walked out and said, “Let’s go.”

Thomas heard that and asked, “Where to?”

Rosa answered, “The carrier.”

Thomas heard that and they walked all the way there and Thomas followed her the entire way. The next morning, the carrier took off to Ragnarok Academy. And Thomas was still asleep.
