Chapter 1 : The tale of Ambrosia and Harold

 

The forest was dancing as the light from the moon glowed and enchanted the forest. A deer was eating by a tree. As it ate it started to glow as well. Suddenly, it fell to the ground as if an invisible force dissinigrated it from existence. However, it cried and screamed as it was being attacked by the so called invisible force. The truth was the invisible force was only invisible because it was camouflaged by the darkness. Blood splattering everywhere and the deers screams were the only sign that something horrific was happening. The deer stopped screaming and went limp after a while but the blood still splattered everywhere. Suddenlty the splattering stopped and a dark figure stood up.A hood was pulled down to reveal  a nblood  smeared face of an elegant woman with  long black hair and dark eyes. At least the woman would have been elegant if her face wasn't covered in the gross red liquid. The girl turns to go when there is a snapping noise behind her. She leaps at it knocking the one who made the noise to the ground. "Who are you? What are you doing here! How dare you spy on me human! You are lucky I just ate or you'd be my meal!"  yelled the woman

 

"Get off me you filthy vampire before I turn you over to the authorities, vampire." said the man his blue eyes were piercing no one could ever resist them. 

 

"You truly think the authorities  scare me! I've been around for a long time,human.  Now I'm not going to say this again. Get out of here if you know what's good for you." said ambrosia.  The man nods and turns to go and Ambrodsia runs through the woods heading back to her castle. Suddenly, there is another snap of twigs. "Don't get the hint do you.., stay away from me before I kill you!" yelled Ambrosia turning around. When she does turn around she sees angother vampire holding a cross bow pointed at her heart. "s o you were saying?" said the man smirking and grabbing hold of her wrist. 

 

"Alphonse Bellemare you headless traitor!  You are working with the humans and werewolves to kill us all. You give vampires a bad name." said Ambrosia spitting at him.

 

"It's nice to see you too, Ambrosia. Still living the perpetual life of a virgin I see. Why don't you find a nice guy and settle down. Stop killing poor innocent creatures like the Duke's nephew. " said Alphonse

 

"I was no where near the Duke's nephew. I only hunt forest animals. I'm thinking you killed him and you are framing me because I refuse to marry you. But you are not going to scare me into submission Bellemare I'd rather die that even think about being your mate and baring your children. " said Ambrosia kidking him in the face and sprinting away. The vampire leaps in front of her catching up. He then knocks Ambrosia to the ground tearing off her clothes.  Ambrosia fought  back with all her might but unfortunately the vampire was stronger than her. So she started to yell and scream. Harold the guy who had saw her earlier ran towards the noise and saw what was happening. He tried to pull Aplhonse off her but Alphonse knocked him er towards a tree. Harold got up and went Alphonse again. Suddenly, the man was holding a sword. "You want to fight for this woman. then let's fight for this woman." said Haro;ld.  Alphonse let's go of  Ambrosia and he starts to circle Harold amused that a human would stand up to him. He picks his his cross bow and shoots it at Harold who ducks then leaps at Harold who disappears and reappears behind Alphonse. He swings the sword towards him. Alphonse grabs the tip then flips over  Harold and grabs his head about to twist it.  "You may be a wizard but you won't get the best of me. This woman is mine." said harold about to twist. suddenly he let's go when he feels pain and sees the blood.  Ambrosia then kicks him to the ground.  Ambrosia looks at Harold. "You want to do the honors?" asked Ambrosia. Harold uses the sword and chops off the vampire hunter's head.  the vampire melts into dust . "Thank you for saving me." said Ambrosia. "Thank you." said Harold. "I'm Harold… Harold Star.  I'm sorry about earlier I was collecting herbs for a potion earlier." said ambrosia "I'm glad you were. I'm Ambrosia.  "I'm sorry about earlier I get defensive after I eat. Anyway. I should go."

 

"Hope to see you soon." said Harold who disappeared in a cloud of purple smoke. Ambrosia ran and leaped so fast that as he  started to gain height and flew over the trees and towards a castle in the distance.  Ambrosia goes uinto a bed room and lays in a coffin sighing. Something about Harold just wouldn't go away. He was foolish to stand up to Alphonse but also very brave. Ambrosia fell as leep thinking of him. 

 

The next night and for several nights after Harold would show up while Ambrosia was hunting. They would talk and walk around the woods together for hours. They found out a lot about each other. Ambrodsia discovered that Harold came from a very promoentinent wizarding family and Harold found out that Ambrosia loved nature and everything about it and she always wanted children. The more they talked the more they started to like each other and the liking slowly turned into love. Then one night during one of their walks Harold took them to the spot where they first met. He had used magic to make the place sparkle and shine . "This is beautiful." said Ambrosia  "It still amazes me how much you can do."

 

"Nothing I can do is as amazing as you, baby. You are the most amazing woman I ever met." said Harold. He gets on one knee. "Ambrodsia will you marry me?"

 

"Yes I will." said Ambrosia hugging him.

 

About a year later Ambrosia and Harold were blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Though  their families did not approve of their life style and were very concerned that they had a child the families left Ambrosia and Harold alone. Unfortunately, as the months and years passed Harold too was getting very worried. Harold loved his daughter and his wife but the fact that there were two vampires in the house now truly started to bother him. He started to have nightmares about going to sleep and never waking up again because his wife and daughter would kill him. Because of this he started to spend as much time away from home as he could.One night,  when Alicia was about 2 years old,he came back from his day and stopped Ambrosia as she was about to go out hunting. "Ambrosia, we need to talk." said Harold

 

"Harold, what's going on?" asked Ambrosia

 

"I… I can't do this." said Harold

 

"Harold, I'm your wife whatever you have to tell me… whatever the problem is. I'll understand and I'll help." said Ambrosia

 

"You can't help. Ambrosia, I love you and I love Alicia you two are the best things that ever happened to me but I just keep thinking that one night I'll fall asleep and I won't wake up. I mean you're vampires. I just don't think I can be safe anymore. I'm leaving you. I'm sorry." said Harold

 

"You're sorry! You're Sorry!  You're leaving me because of what I am! Because of something I can't change!" yelled Ambrosia "Am I hearing this correctly!"

 

"I met someone else. Some one I can be safe with. Someone I love very much." said Harold

 

"Congratulations! I  hope you and your new slutty home wrecker are very happy together. I just hope she doesn't freak out when she discovers that you are a wizard with a witch/vampire daughter and a vampire ex wife." said Ambrosia

 

"Diana is a witch herself and I told her about you and Alicia. She is fine with it. Goodbye, Ambrosia and tell Alicia I said goodbye and I love her very much." said Harold

 

Harold then disappeared in a cloud of purple smoke. Ambrosia started to cry. Alicia who had been listening from the hallway came into the room hugging her mother . "When is daddy coming back?" asked Alicia

 

Ambrosia patted her daughter on the head and hugged her tighter. 

2: Into The Woods

The years flew by almost magically. Alicia was now a happy 10 year old girl. She had grown to love and do magic , paint, and read and write stories. Alicia also loved to read about different cultures and loved nature. Alicia loved painting landscapes and spent much of her time painting them though she'd cheat and use magic to paint. She would just watch the view and the paint with dance on the canvas forming the picture. She excitedly finished the last touches on her latest painting. "Perfect." said Alicia. She picked up the painting and ran out the door nearly tripping over her pet dog, Lucius, he was her guardian though Alicia was never entirely sure who he was guarding or if he was protecting Ambrosia from her. Meanwhile. Alicia's mother Ambrosia was sitting in front of the TV drinking a red wine like liquid. "Hey, mom look what I made." said Alicia as she ran downstairs showing off her new landscape. Ambrosia was impressed by the beauty of the painting and was not shy in showing it.

Ambrosia put the glass of what seems to be red wine in the table and looks at her drawing. "Darling this is amazing! Picasso doesn't even get close to this!" She hug Alicia and gave her a kiss in her cheek. " My little princess should go eat some cookies." Alicia looked at her mother quizzically " Picasso doesn't have magic, mom. cookies? don't you think it's late for cookies. it could spoil my dinner . We are going hunting tonight right mom? you promised." said sighted and smile at her. "Well, Picasso might not have magic but he is good at what he does. Cookies won't spoil your meal If you just have one. I drink blood before dinner and I eat just fine." Ambrosia rub her daughter's hair. "Yes. We're going hunting tonight."

"ok and mom blood is dinner generally. we're going? Yay!" cheered alicia who goes to get 2 cookies. "Here mommy. i got you a cookie too."

Ambrosia smiles and takes a bite of the cookie. "Hmm...Delicious." Her mother was using a black dress that made her body look slim. Since she was a full vampire age didn't matter to her. Her chest are DDD's and her eyes are a fire red. Her skin was pale and her teeth were like a vampire.

Alicia bit her cookie revealing her fangs ever once in a while and she ate and smiled at her mother. alicia had her mother's pale skin and vampire teeth but she had piercing blue eyes like her father and long flowing black hair and was wearing a red dress. Alicia loved her father though he walked out on them but her father at times took her out to have fun. They didn't really mind that they were separated. One time he brought his new wife, Diana, with them to the park or other places.

"Is dad coming hunting tonight?" asked alicia

"Yes. I'm pretty sure he's bringing Diana with him so don't be rude, alright?" Her mother play with Alicia's soft hair.

"Mommy, I don't like Diana. She's mean to me." said alicia

"I'll have a talk with her. You know mommy will crush her worthless bones if she ever hurts you, right?" ambrosia comforted.

" Yes mommy and i'll turn her into a frog." said alicia

Kisses her head. "Go get ready for us to leave. We'll eat with your dad and Diana."

"OK." said alicia who runs upstairs and gets ready and then comes back down. "ready mommy."

Her mother was wearing her hunting dress. It was black like every other dress she had. "They'll meet us in the woods." said ambrosia

"OK. you sure everything will be ok? i know daddy doesn't like hunting. wizards have no need for it." said alicia "And diana always pokes fun at me."

"He wants to be with you. I won't let him be with you and that woman alone. Just have fun, alright sweetie? We'll have fun."

"OK, mommy." said alicia

"Alright let's get going." She and Alicia go to the woods

Alicia looks around the woods excited using magic to light the trees so they can find thier ways plus alicia liked making the woods sparkle and her mother was following her and keeping a close eye on her. Her guardian was right beside her looking around the woods. A few moments later her dad and Diana find them in the woods. "Hey sweetie." Her dad smile and open his arms for a hug.

" hey, dad." alicia runs up and hugs her father harold. she loved harold very much but ever since he left she had felt disconnected from him. "I've been practicing my magic. i can change myself to fire. watch" said alicia changing herself to fire and back.

Harold smile at her "that's a great move! Keep practicing spells and you'll become a great wizard like me and Diana." Diana kneels down and smiles at her. "How are you?" Ambrosia harold and Diana but just ignored their hated diana she was always condensing because even though diana never said it alicia knew that she hated vampires and deliberately seduced harold into leaving his family. "Hello. I'm fine." said alicia just being polite.

"I'm very glad to hear that." Said Diana with a smile. Harold looks at Ambrosia and sights. "Hey umm...How have you been?" She casually ignored the question and asks Alicia. "We should start."

"OK. I guess we need to be invisible first." said alicia who snaps her fingers making them all around the woods and sees creatures starting to walk around like there wasn't anyone there.a deer walks through the woods and as it does alicia's throat burns as her thristy gets stronger and stronger. Her eyes turn from blue to black and her fangs become leaps at the deer who starts to run but alicIA grabs the deer knocking it to the ground as she digs her teeth into its father and Diana were surprise of what the girl's doing. Her mother just smiles at the girl that was drinking blood and said. "Drink it all, sweetie." Her father got a little nervous and said "S-Sweetie stop that." Diana look away from the scene. The drinking blood thing made her freak ignored her father and kept drinking. She didn't like hurting innocent creatures alicia just couldn't control her urges for blood every time she saw one at night. Usually alicia was a sweet girl who spent time painting and reading and enjoying nature but at night she became like a wild animal and until the thirst was satisfied she couldn't stop. Once she drank all she could alicia let go of the deer. Her eyes turned back to blue and her fangs turned back to normal teeth. Blood was dripping from her mouth onto her dress as she turned to go back to the look down and then at his child. "You can't hurt innocent animals like that..." Her mother quickly step in and replied "This is a part of her now. She'll always drink blood and there is nothing you can and will do about it." Harold look a little angry at her and answer in a high tone. "She's my child too. I deserve to tell her what's wrong and right." Ambrosia shakes her head and says with a cold tone "you lost that right when you left. I take care of Alicia so I get to tell her what's good and what's wrong. Fathers like you don't deserve such a nice tittle." Harold and Diana both seem to be surprise. Diana look at Ambrosia and said "Hey! Don't talk to him like that!" Her mother beings to laugh. "Shut up. Me and him are talking darling."

"Everyone just stop!" said alicia "Daddy, i'd like to stop but i can't help it. I know it's wrong and i hate it but i can't help what i am. and mom is right you left us for a full witch because you hate us for what we are. i don't understand why you and diana bother to show up at all if you have to reprimand me for something i can't change. and mom i think we need to stop inviting dad hunting with us. and diana stay out of everyone please stop fighting!" yelled alicia suddenly changing into fire again because of her look down and Diana stared at Ambrosia with a evil look. Harold shakes his head and says. "It isn't like that...Me and Ambrosia weren't getting along and well...I found happiness..." Ambrosia look at Alicia and ask. "Do you want to go home? I don't want to be here anymore." She look at Harold and said. "I don't think I want you seeing her anymore. You aren't giving her anything to be proud of." Harold just look down and Diana said to the full vampire. "Watch your back." With that she uses a black dust to disappear with Harold. Ambrosia just smile and whisper to herself. "I can't wait to rip off that bitch's head off..." Angrily she punch a tree that was behind her.

"Come on, mom. let's keep hunting." said alicia. "You haven't gotten anything to eat yet."

"I just want to sleep...Let's go Alicia." She began to walk away.

"OK. Thanks for taking me hunting mom. " said alicia. Alicia snaps her fingers and they appear back at the walk straight back to her room and began went to her room and took out another canvas using her magic to make another picture this one was of her, ambrosia, harold, and diana all smiling. As she created it tears poured down her face. "Why can't they just accept me?" asked alicia who then throws a fireball at the painting destroying it.

Harold had stepped on Ambrosia's heart over and over. She hated Diana and Harold. A special event takes place in town in where someone could challenge someone to a fight. The winner could spare or kill the person without any charges. Ambrosia's broken heart was set to kill her former husband and his new wife.

3: The Love of a mother and daughter

Chapter 3
Alicia started to get ready for bed. she knew the sun would be up soon. She had to get at least a little sleep before school the next day.Alicia got into the dark coffin and fell asleep trying not to think about her father and the bitch he married. Alicia just wanted the night to end and it to be the next day so she could just trudge through the torture that was school.
Meanwhile in a big fancy mansion on the other side of town Diana and Harold are sitting in the kitchen. Diana starts making tea for the two of them and drops a truth potion in Harold's cup before handing it to him.  Diana shakes her head as she sits down "I don't understand why you don't just take custody of Alicia… I know the law would let you I mean clearly Ambrosia is a bad influence not to mention a danger to her well being." said Diana

 

"Di, she is not a danger to Alicia's well being. Ambrosia is a good mother." said Harold

 

"She has turned your daughter into a blood sucking monster. Alicia is 10 she is never going to learn that violence is not the answer when she is killing wild animals. I mean today it's  baby deer  tomorrow it might be a baby! You need to get her away from Ambrosia and fast."

 

"I gave up any right to that when I ran away and I don't approve of Alicia killing anyone or anything but she has a side to herself that only Ambrosia knows how to handle. " said Harold "It would be impossible for us to handle her vampire side. The only way I could think of is lock her up in a cage and I'm not doing that to my own child." said Harold pointedly.

 

"Who said anything about putting her in a cage! I'm sure there are other ways to discipline her just teach her not to attack  others." said Diana

 

"I'm sure that is exactly what Ambrosia is doing . I mean I haven't read any news reports of kidnappings or mysterious deaths. Sure Alicia might be a bit of a wreck loose but so is her mom that's what I love about Ambrosia… she is just so…so …"

 

 

"So what?" Diana sneered

 

"Nothing…" said Harold embarrassed

 

"No, you were about to say something so say it." said Diana

 

"It's nothing. just drop it. " said Harold

 

"So, sexy… was that the word you were looking for, darling?" asked Diana

 

" I said drop it." said Harold

 

"You still love Ambrosia. You are attracted to her." said Diana. "admit it!"

 

 

"

 

"I can't help it. I'm sorry but I didn't leave Ambrosia because I didn't love her I left her because I'm a spineless coward and honestly the more I think about it the more ashamed I get. I should have never left her. never. Ambrosia was a kind, caring woman underneath it all and I let that beautiful woman walk out of my life." said Harold.

 

"You really know how to make it sting , Harold!" yelled Diana. "I was going to tell you something tonight but maybe you don't deserve to know."

 

"Diana, honey, I'm sorry. What is it you need to tell me?" asked Harold.

 

"I'm pregnant. Now you have a choice to make a future with me and our baby or without us! Why don't you sleep on it Harold." said Diana 

 

"I don't need to sleep on it. I love you, Diana. I'm so happy and I'm so excited to extend our family . I'm sorry. I will try to work out these resigule feelings for Ambrosia I promise. I just need some time.  " 

" Some time? You have no time Harold it is now or never!" yelled Diana

 

"But Diana…" Harold started

 

"Save it, Harold! I don't want to hear any excuses! I'm going to bed. good night."  said Diana who snaps her fingers suddenly Harold is on the couch in his pajamas. He sighed and fluffed his pillow making himself comfortable.

 

 

        The next morning at about 6:30am Ambrosia woke up  and took a shower before waking Alicia.  "Alicia… Alicia… time to get up honey." said Ambrosia shaking her daughter awake. Alicia was so tired she refused to wake up even though she knew it was time.  Ambrosia eventually gave up tired  of calling Alicia's name a million times and went downstairs to  make breakfast. While  it was cooking she started to prepare a bag lunch for Alicia as well.  

Meanwhile, 

Alicia rolled out of bed and got dressed then went downstairs.  "Morning, mom." said Alicia sitting down and starting to eat. Alicia was not looking forward to school. She had a hard time hiding her secret and the kids made fun of her because of her pale skin, blue eyes, and black hair. Ambrosia put breakfast on the table as Alicia sat down and  then sat down to have breakfast herself.
Ambrosia was so depressed as she got every time she saw her ex husband.Deep down Ambrosia knew she didn't want to be alone that day. She had a feeling Alicia needed a day off too. "Do you want to go to school? How about a personal day. I could call the school tell them you're sick and we could spend the day together. We could see a movie or go to the park or the zoo… whatever my little girl wants to do." said Ambrosia
"I can stay home? I didn't know I was allowed to do that." said Alicia

 

"Only for  today." said Ambrosia "So, what do you want to do."

 

"I don't know." said Alicia

 

Suddenly there is some noise at the front door. "That must be the mail. Would you get that, honey?"

 

Alicia goes to the door and gets the mail bringing it to Ambrosia. Ambrosia sees something addressed to her and opens it giggling like a school girl while reading it and just glowing.

 

"Mom, what's going on?" asked Alicia

 

"O it's just from an old friend he wants me to meet him in the park this afternoon. This was the man I was in love with before I met your father. It'll be great to see him again. Honey, you don't mind having a picnic in the park do you?" asked Ambrosia

 

"No, it's ok , mom." said Alicia "Who is he mom?"

 

"His name is Vlad. He was a bad boy. He'd go into town and suck dry as many humans he could to impress me. I was very wild back then. I would kill anyone or anything in sight. It was fun those were good times…just me and Vlad we would run through town drinking and drinking and then we'd have some real fun… he was so… and we were so…. " said Ambrosia suddenly remembering she was talking to her 10 year old daughter, "Anyway, we grew up and realized killing and being wild like that is wrong. Very wrong! Luckily I  had your father to set me straight until he left me with absolutely nothing except a child to care for  because he suddenly decided we were dangerous I swear sometimes I want to drain every last drop from his body! "

 

 

 

"Mom calm down. please." said Alicia

 

"I'm sorry but honey I don't want you to see your father anymore. He clearly is happier with Diana in his all witch life and perhaps it's for the best. I just don't like us around him." said Ambrosia

 

"But he's my father. You can't just tell me that I can't see him." said Alicia

 

"I'm your mother… I know what's best and you are going to follow this order. You are not allowed to see your father. do you understand me!" yelled Ambrosia

 

"Yes, mama." said Alicia backing up a little.

 

"OK. so what shall we do this morning?" asked Ambrosia

 

"I don't know." said Alicia "How about a movie?" 

 

"Which movie?" asked Ambrosia

 

"Ever After." said Alicia

 

They go to the living room and watch the movie. It was Alicia's favorite she always liked the idea that if life was hard you could make it better and could fight for what you wanted and stand up to those who wronged you. Eventually the movie ended and it was lunch time.  Before long they were in the park setting up a picnic when a regal looking man in black approached them. "Pardon me, ladies. My name is Vlad. I believe you were excepting me." he said bowing. Ambrosia looked at him a glow in her eyes. "It's been a long time, Vlad. This is my daughter Alicia." said Ambrosia. 

 

Lucius barks at him.  "And this is Lucius. our pet." said Ambrosia "Lucius, stop barking Vlad is harmless to us anyway."

 

"Well hello, Alicia and hello Lucius it is a pleasure.  My… my Alicia, you are gorgeous you must be quite the heartbreaker. You a wild child like your mother?" he asked

 

"No. I'm not well half wild child I guess." said Alicia.

 

"Your mom can teach you to be all wild child." said Vlad

 

"NO!" Ambrosia said  out right "That part of my life is over. I 'm trying to set a good example for my daughter and killing humans and going on bloody rampages every night is not what grown good natured people do, Vlad. I mean I'm sure you and your family don't go on those rampages." said Ambrosia

 

"I no longer have a family. I barely had the opportunity. I  wasn't as lucky as you and Harold." said Vlad

 

"O, Vlad I'm so sorry." said Ambrosia

 

"What happened?" asked Alicia

 

"My wife died giving birth. See dear, vampires can't conceive  children with humans it is too difficult for human bodies to handle. Your mother and father were very lucky to be the exception but the rest of us are not so lucky." said Vlad

 

"I'm sorry." said Alicia

 

"I remember when I had Alicia all I kept thinking was 'suck it Edward Cullen.' I finally proved him wrong that we can have biological children I thought we all could. I guess I was wrong. I'm so sorry." said Ambrosia

 

"It's not your fault." said Vlad sitting down. as he sat down it was like time itself had stopped for everyone but him. Vlad suddenly changed into Diana who took out a syringe with a black liquid. "I'm so sorry,Ambrosia but if you are alive I can't be the only woman in Harold's life but don't worry I'll take very good care of Alicia for you. I'm going to torture her and make her life so miserable that she will beg me to end her pathetic life and being a caring and kind woman I'll glad do just that." said Diana injecting the potion into Ambrosia. Then disappears when she does  everything unfreezes and Ambrosia falls over paler than pale and stiff. 

 

"Mom! Mom!" yelled Alicia trying to shake her mother awake . Lucius starts growling and barking trying to wake her up.  "Lucius, I think we should go get dad. I know mom said not to see him anymore but I just don't know what else to do. I can't call 911 they'll think she's dead because they won't feel a pulse. I think dad is best come on." said Alicia. Looks at her mom. "I love you, mom. we'll be back soon." said Alicia hugging the dog and disappearing. 

When  they reappear they are in the middle of a giant living room.The dog began looking around and Alicia's dad saw her. "Sweetie? What's with the sudden surprise? I'm very glad to see you here." He was in wizard clothes approaching her. Her step mother exited the kitchen with a plate full of cookies.

 

 "How are you, Alicia? Do you want some cookies? I made a lot." Lucius looked at Diana and immediately began to bark sensing something wrong.Alicia shushed him. "it's great to see you too dad but... you have to come back with us something is wrong with mom. We were in the park having a picnic and suddenly mom just got pale and fell over.  Lucius and I have tried everything to wake her up. You have to come help, please?" begged Alicia. Alicia then looked up at Diana.  "Thank you but i'm not hungry, Diana."

 

"Alright sweetie." Said Diana who walked back to the kitchen. Harold sighed and quickly got his spell book. "Alright...I really hope she is alright." Her dad began saying random words and then she, him and the dog appear back at in the park. Ambrosia was just laying by a tree that Alicia had leaned her against. Harold sat next to Ambrosia. Harold began to try and wake her up checking if anything was wrong but then he saw the injection on the ground. He slowly picked it up and looked at the black liquid. "It can't be....She committed suicide...?" He slowly held Aliciaand hug her. It seem that she committed suicide. "Sweetie she's...." He had tears in his face. "I-I'm so sorry...."

 

"But that makes no sense. she's a vampire they don't commit suicide besides when could she have done it. I was sitting right next to her this entire time. If she had attempted anything I would have stopped her. Someone must be making it look like she committed suicide. Another witch or wizard maybe. I bet Diana knows something about this." said Alicia

 

"You are starting to sound like your mother. Diana is not a wicked witch out to get everyone she is a nice understanding person. And she's part of this family. Come on, I know somewhere nice we can bury your mother." said Harold.

 

Harold snaps his fingers and they are on a hill looking over the small town. Harold conjures two shovels and he and Alicia start to dig with some help from Lucius. Once the hole was big enough Harold put the body in a coffin and buried it. "Ambrosia, I'm so sorry. I failed you as a father and a husband. You were the strongest most determined woman I knew and I don't know what happened to make you do this but I should have never turned my back on you and Alicia. I promise I will do whatever I have to to make it up to you. I love you more than anything I just learned it too late." said Harold

"Mom, I love you and I'll miss you. You were the best mother in the whole world. You were there whenever I needed you. Goodbye, mom." said Alicia starting to cry. Harold hugged her and cried with her as Lucius sadly barked. 

 

They disappear and are back at the giant mansion.  Diana goes over and hugs them without saying a word. "Come on, Alicia. I know something that might cheer you up." said Diana. Diana takes them upstairs to the attic which was done up as a bedroom with all of Alicia's stuff. 

 

"This is amazing. Thank you, dad. Thank you, Diana." said Alicia looking around.

 

"We know that this will take some time but we want you to feel at home and I'd like you to think of me as your mother, dear. Whenever you have a problem or want to talk I'm here." said Diana

 

"Thank you, Diana." said Alicia

 

Diana smiles.  "Make yourself at home. I'll get you when dinner is ready." said Diana leaving the room.

 

"It will be all right. I promise. " said Harold closing the door. 

 

Alicia  lies on the bed staring at the ceiling. Lucius jumps on the bed next to her and she starts petting him as he licks her face.
