On Thomas Greenfield's 16th birthday, which was 5 days before the beginning of the Magical schools, he woke up in his bed with a card on his pillow.

He stared at the card and said, "I just turned 16 years old and I get a card. Why does it have to be me?"

Maya Greenfield asked, "What's wrong honey?"

Thomas answered, "I just woke up with this magical card."

Maya asked, "What does it look like?"

Thomas answered, "I don't know. It has an explanation mark on it."

Maya walked in and said, "Let me take a look."

Thomas handed her the card and she saw the explanation mark and said, "This isn't possible."

Thomas asked, "What's not possible?"

Maya answered, "This card hasn't chosen yet. But you'll find out later in school what you got."

She handed Thomas the card and said, "I hope that it's a strong 1 Thomas. Because I would like you to join the Dragon Squad. I'm the boss after all."

Thomas asked, "What if it's not a strong card?"

Maya answered, "Then I can't allow you to join. Because everyone in the organization is strong. Even Mia Greenfield is stronger than she was a year ago."

Thomas said, "She's a year older than me right."

Maya answered, "Yes she is. You'll be going to Red Dragon Academy with her. I'm a teacher there. So the 3 of us will be together once again."

Thomas said, "Yep."

Maya asked, "Will you be going to the entrance exam Thomas? It's in 2 days."

Thomas said, "I'll be there. And I just turned 16 too."

Maya said, "Oh yeah. I totally forgot about that. I had something for you. But I left it at the base."

Thomas said, "Go get it. I'll be fine here."

Maya said, "OK. I'll be back then."

Thomas put the card under lock and key and held it in his hands and put a tight grip on it and fell asleep.

He knew that someone was going to break into the house and try to steal it from him and when that happened, Maya walked into the house and said, "Thomas, I'm back."

The burglar heard that and Thomas opened his eyes and said, "OK. I'm awake, I think."

Maya walked to his room and the burglar heard the footsteps and said to herself, "Oh shit. I can't find the card."

Thomas got out of bed and saw the girl and ran her into the wall and asked, "Why are you in my room?"

The burglar answered, "Someone ordered me to steal the explanation card that was in this house."

Thomas asked, "Do you know who asked you to?"

The burglar answered, "No sir. I swear."

Maya opened the door and saw Thomas holding a girl against the wall and asked, "What's going on here?"

Thomas answered, "Someone ordered this girl to steal the explanation card that I have kept in a safe place."

Maya heard that and said, "Interesting. OK. Let her go."

Thomas did and Maya asked, "Where is it hidden?"

Thomas opened his hands up and took the key out of his pocket and put it into the invisible box and opened it and showed her and Maya said, "Good, keep it safe Thomas. That card is worth millions."

Thomas asked, "Why don't we just sell this shit?"

Maya answered, "We can't do that. What if a criminal buys it and it's a strong card?"

Thomas answered, "The world would be screwed if I'm right."

Maya said, "Yep. And we could use the money. But we can't allow that."

The burglar asked, "What are you going to do with me?"

Thomas answered, "Have a seat. We're going to celebrate my 16th birthday today. And she knows that you didn't intend to steal it from me."

Maya said, "Oh yeah, your gift."

She took out a big box and carried it into the room and said, "Damn this thing is heavy."

Mia smiled and said to herself, "I'm so sorry."

Maya put the present down and said, "Here you go. It's your gift."

The burglar saw the big box and asked, "What the hell is in that big box?"

Thomas asked, "Why are you looking at me?"

Maya answered, "Open it already."

Thomas did and saw a plain box and said, "Huh. It's a plain box."

Maya smiled and said, "Take the tape off Thomas."

The burglar heard that and Thomas took his hunting knife out and started cutting the tape and then Mia popped and said, "Happy birthday little brother."

The knife and his hand fell into the box because of how the burglar's screams and Thomas jumped back and said, "You had to jump out and scare the shit out of her."

Mia said, "Yep, mom told me that someone would try to steal something from the house and she also wanted me to surprise you. So she told me to jump out."

Thomas lifted his right arm and said, "Yeah, you surprised me. And because of it, I lost my hand."

Mia said, "That wasn't me. The burglar scared you. Which caused your hand to go out of control which cut it."

Thomas said, "You are so calm about this. And it's my birthday too."

Mia said, "I'm sorry."

Maya walked to the burglar and saw that her eyes are bugged out and said, "She's knocked out Mia."

Mia exited the box and walked to the burglar and took her mask off and said, "It's you."

Maya said, "You know her."

Mia answered, "Yeah, her name is Jennifer McGee. She is in the same class as me last year and this year. We both are staying back a grade because of each other."

Maya smiled and asked, "Is she strong?"

Mia answered, "Yes she is. We're rivals to be exact."

Thomas smiled and said, "Rivals you say. Can you please tell me why she tried to rob me?"

Mia answered, "I can't answer that. If someone ordered her to steal your explanation card, I don't know anything."

Thomas smiled and sat down and said, "Yippee. First a friend of yours comes, then you pop up out of nowhere and then my hand gets cut off. Now this is a hell of a birthday that I'm having right now."

Maya said, "Don't say that Thomas. You're still alive aren't you."

Thomas said, "Well, it is good to see you again Mia."

Mia stood up and hugged him and said, "I'm sorry about your hand. I didn't expect that to happen."

Thomas said, "No problem. It doesn't hurt at all. Wake her up so we can celebrate together."

Mia heard that and asked, "How do you wake an asleep person?"

Thomas walked to her and grabbed her with 1 hand and started shaking her Jennifer started to open her eyes and Thomas let go and asked, "Are you ok?"

Jennifer answered, "Yeah, I'm fine. What happened?"

Thomas answered, "Mia scared the shit out of you. And you were knocked out."

Jennifer heard that and said, "I was scared, of her. Impossible."

Mia laughed and Thomas put his left hand out and Jennifer saw that and asked, "Why are you helping me?"

Thomas answered, "You're my sister's rival. I respect that. But you're now here for my birthday, there's no sleeping or lying down. So get up."

Jennifer heard that and said, "I tried to rob you."

Thomas asked, "Were you not listening to what I was saying? I'm telling you that I don't care about that right now. I'll figure that out later."

They heard that and said, "OK."

Jennifer said, "The man's name is Phantom Black. A well known thief and hires people to steal for him. You find him, then you know you outsmarted him."

Thomas smiled and said, "Thank you for the info."

Maya handed Thomas the tablet and said, "Start the search Thomas."

Thomas smiled and said, "Yes ma'am."

Jennifer asked, "What is he doing?"

Mia answered, "Thomas is a well known hacker. He's also going to the same school as us. And we'll be in the same class as him. And our mother will be our teacher."

Thomas heard that and said, "That just makes things worse."

Maya said, "Not cool Thomas. I brought your sister home after a year of not seeing her."

Thomas said, "Yes, I know that. I was just messing with you."

Mia asked, "Do you have a girlfriend yet?"

Thomas answered, "Nope. Do you?"

Mia said, "No. I love men."

Thomas asked, "Are you sure about that? Because the last time I saw you, you were at a cafe with a girl kissing each other."

Jennifer heard that and started laughing and said, "She's a lesbian. I don't believe it."

Mia grabbed Thomas's hair and whispered, "You were there remember. It was a man."

Thomas whispered, "I know. I'm about to say just kidding. But you had to spoil the fun."

Mia heard that and let go and said, "Sorry."

Jennifer couldn't stop laughing and Thomas said, "She's not a lesbian. I made that up. I was actually there when she kissed her boyfriend."

Jennifer stopped and said, "You killed the vibe man."

Thomas said, "Good. You really are her rival. This'll be fun. Are you 2 really the cause of you staying back?"

They answered, "Nope. We only wanted to be in the same class as you."

Thomas heard that and asked, "Why?"

Maya asked, "Why would you do that?"

Mia answered, "I love my little brother."

Jennifer answered, "I want to get to know him."

Thomas heard that and said, "Huh."

Maya said, "That's interesting."

Jennifer asked, "Do you really have a explanation card?"

Mia asked, "Do they really exist?"

Maya answered, "Yes he does. And they are really rare. It's like a legendary card that a select few get. And Thomas is 1 of those select few. I was 1 of them as well. And so was Mia."

Thomas heard that and said, "That's interesting."

Maya said, "I bought us a huge cake. And we're going to eat it all tonight. But first, we're going to a restaurant to eat."

Jennifer asked, "Where are we going?"

Mia said, "You never told me anything about this dinner."

Maya said, "Get dressed everyone. We're going to a restaurant that only allows people with suits and dresses in. And Jennifer, you can wear 1 of mine. Because Mia is a lot bigger than you. Me and you are the same size."

Jennifer said, "OK."

Thomas said, "Get the hell out of my room already. And how am I going to eat with my left hand? I'm a righty."

They laughed and answered, "We'll cut it up for you."

Thomas said, "Thank you very much."

Thomas started getting undressed and Maya saw the scars on his back and said, "I'll be right with you Jennifer. My room is right there."

Jennifer said, "OK."

She walked to Maya's room and Maya closed the door and asked, "Where'd you get those scars Thomas?"

Thomas answered, "You don't remember the orphanage beating the kids for doing bad things. You watched them beat the shit out of me and then adopted me. Why?"

Maya answered, "It wasn't my fault. Your father told me to."

Thomas asked, "What's his name?"

Maya answered, "Oh wait. Your father wants to steal all of the explanation cards. What is he up to?"

Thomas asked, "What is his name?"

Maya answered, "Phantom Black."

Thomas said, "OK. Do you mind if I kill him?"

Maya answered, "Yes I do mind Thomas. I won't allow him to die."

Thomas said, "OK. I won't kill him."

Maya said, "As soon as we know your magical card, then I'll decide who will kill him."

Thomas said, "Yes ma'am."

Thomas got dressed and Maya walked into her room and Jennifer smiled and Maya said, "Sorry to keep you waiting. I had to ask Thomas something."

Jennifer said, "I saw the scars before you closed the door. What happened to him?"

Maya answered, "You don't want to know. I'll only tell you that I adopted him. He's an orphan."

Jennifer heard that and started to change and said, "I was an orphan as well. I knew a man named Thomas Hellion. That man looks just like him. But when we were together, he would always get into trouble. So no one would see him. All we orphans heard were his screams. He was a really good kid as well."

Maya heard that and said, "You never saw him."

Jennifer said, "Only 1 time a week we were allowed to speak with him. But then they took him away. Like he was a prisoner."

Thomas listened to there conversation and then said to himself, "I can't forgive them."

Thomas continued walking and Mia said, "Thomas, help me out."

Thomas said, "Sure thing."

Thomas walked to Mia and asked, "What do you need help with?"

Mia answered, "The zipper. Can you pull it up?"

Thomas answered, "Sure thing."

Thomas grabbed the zipper and pulled up and Mia turned around and asked, "Why didn't you tell me about the scars Thomas?"

Thomas said, "You saw them as well. I was an orphan before meeting you guys. I never got along with the adults there. So they would take me away from the other kids and beat me with a whip and then put me in a cell because of my attitude. I only got to speak with the others once a week. And then they take me away again."

Mia heard that and asked, "Why? You're always a nice man."

Thomas said, "That was before I met you people. While your father watched me get beaten, he told mom to wait for them to be done and don't do a thing. He deserves it. He's not meant to be in the real world."

Mia heard that and said, "Dad forced her to listen to him."

Thomas said, "Exactly. He had a knife pointed at her head. She was scared for her life. Is that all you want?"

Mia hugged him and said, "Everything is going to be alright Thomas. You don't have to worry about the orphanage again."

Thomas said, "My real name is Thomas Hellion. Hellion is an evil creature in the world."

Mia heard that and said, "Hold on Thomas. You don't mean that you're actually evil."

Thomas answered, "Not at all. I'm not evil. I was saved by mom. She made me happy. Gave me a second chance to live a good life."

Mia said, "You are too nice to be evil."

Thomas smiled and said, "We'll see about that."

Maya said, "Let's go everyone. To the restaurant."

They all walked out of the house and to the car and entered it and Maya was in the front seat and Mia, Jennifer and Thomas were in the back seat putting there arms around him and Thomas said, "Huh."

Maya saw them and said to herself, "The Demon child really is popular with the women. But I hope that they don't find out what he really is."

As soon as they got to the restaurant, the waiter waited for them and opened the door and Mia, Thomas and Jennifer got out and Maya turned the car off and exited the car and handed him the keys and said, "Park anywhere."

The waiter said, "Yes ma'am."

They walked inside and the countersman asked, "Who might you be?"

Maya answered, "Maya Greenfield. A table for 4."

He said, "Yes ma'am."

A waitress appeared and said, "Follow me please."

Thomas heard that and his memories came back to him and Maya saw Thomas and said, "There's nothing to worry about. We're in a restaurant. Not an orphanage."

Jennifer said, "His memories are coming back. He's the only 1 to have them erased from his system."

Maya said, "Hurry and take us to the table."

Mia grabbed Thomas and so did Jennifer and they walked to the table and sat down and Maya asked, "What did the orphanage do to you?"

Jennifer answered, "Tortured him to death. I have to thank you for saving him. All of the orphans were worried about him."

Thomas said, "I hate this place."

Phantom was watching them and walked in and asked, "May I get a table? Just for myself. I'm alone."

The countersman said, "Sure. Where would you like to sit?"

Phantom saw the empty seat that was in front of Thomas's vision and said, "The table that is near that family of 4 over there."

He said, "Oh, the Greenfield's. Sure thing."

A waiter appeared and said, "Follow me sir."

The waiter took him to his seat and Thomas stared at him and Maya asked, "What's wrong Thomas?"

Thomas answered, "Ever since we got here, I had a feeling that we were being watched."

Jennifer said, "I felt it too."

Phantom said, "I'll have a coke."

Maya heard that voice and said, "He's here."

Mia asked, "Who is?"

Thomas answered, "Your father."

Mia heard that and turned around and saw him and Phantom waved and Thomas said, "Now that man is pure evil. Allowing me to get beaten and then take me home."

Jennifer said, "That's what happened."

Thomas said, "I remember that day perfectly."

Maya said, "So do I. That's the reason I divorced him too. He stuck a knife to my face."

Thomas said, "I can't wait."

Phantom took out a card and said, "Panther."

A panther appeared and Thomas saw that and Phantom said, "Kill Thomas Greenfield."

Panther ran toward Thomas and Thomas saw that and stared at the panther and the panther stopped and Thomas snapped his fingers and panther sat down and everyone saw that and Thomas moved his pointer finger in circles and the panther turned around and Thomas pointed toward Phantom and panther walked to him and sat there panting and Phantom saw that and said, "That bastard."

Maya asked, "What did you just do?"

Thomas answered, "I just commanded the panther to be scared of me. By staring at my opponent, I can manipulate there minds."

Mia said, "Amazing."

Jennifer asked, "How long have you been able to do that?"

Thomas answered, "Just now."

Maya said, "Take the card out."

Thomas took the box out and said, "The key is in my pants pocket."

Maya put her hand in his pants pocket and took out the key and put it in the keyhole and turned it and they saw no change and said, "It's still an explanation card."

Thomas closed it and put it away and Raven Garcia saw Thomas and walked to him and asked, "Are you Thomas Greenfield?"

Thomas answered, "Yes. Who is she?"

They shrugged there shoulders and Raven answered, "I'm Raven Garcia. The Demon child has appeared."

Thomas said, "Demon child you say."

Maya said, "Let's keep that on the low."

Thomas smiled and asked, "How may I help you?"

Raven asked, "Why is that man trying to kill you?"

Thomas answered, "Can't answer that."

Phantom said, "He's famous with the ladies as well. Even though he's isolated in his house."

Maya said, "Man, he's such an asshole."

Thomas said, "I can hear you idiot."

Mia said, "He doesn't know that does he?"

Jennifer said, "Man, your hatred toward him is intense."

There aura's changed to wanting to kill him and Jennifer said, "Calm down you 3."

Phantom smiled and the waiter put the drink in front of him and said, "There you go. Are you hungry?"

Phantom answered, "Nope. Just this will do."

The waiter said, "OK."

Raven said, "By the way, Thomas, could you come with me for a second?"

Maya said, "Go ahead. This is the first time out of the house after the orphanage. You need to get used to your surroundings. Plus, school starts in 5 days."

Thomas stood up and walked with Raven and Raven smiled and asked, "How's your first day outside of the house feel?"

Thomas answered, "Not that bad."

Raven had a knife in her hands and Thomas asked, "What do you need to talk to me about?"

Raven asked, "What happened to your hand?"

Thomas answered, "Nothing happened to it."

Raven said, "OK."

They walked to the hallway and Raven threw him into the wall and lifted the knife up and said, "Die Thomas."

Thomas saw the knife and said, "You gotta be kidding me."

Phantom put panther away and then saw the knife up and said, "She's really going to kill him. Killing Thomas is my job."

Raven stabbed Thomas's right arm and Thomas grinned and Raven took it out and walked away and Thomas kneeled down and looked at the ground and Raven said, "Have fun Thomas."

Thomas stared at his arm and saw blood stains and went to the bathroom and put cold water on some paper towels and then put them on his wounds and walked out of the bathroom and Raven sat in front of Phantom and Phantom said, "You didn't kill him as expected."

Raven asked, "What are you talking about sir?"

Phantom pointed and Raven turned around and saw him and said, "He's smart enough to take care of his own wounds."

Thomas sat down and said, "I lost my hand, now I get stabbed. I'm really angry now."

Thomas's body started glowing and Maya saw that and said, "Calm down Thomas. Do you really want to die that badly?"

Thomas heard that and the light that surrounded him disappeared and Thomas closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Phantom saw that and Maya started shaking him and nothing worked and she also poured water on him and said, "We can't even eat his birthday cake."

Jennifer heard that and said, "Get a knife. It might actually work."

Thomas heard that and opened his eyes and stood up and said, "I'm going to the car."

Maya left the money on the table and said, "Let's go everyone. We're going home."

Thomas walked passed Phantom and Phantom said, "You'll die for me right Thomas."

Maya said, "No he won't. He's my son. Not yours."

Phantom asked, "Who paid for him?"

Maya answered, "I did. You only threatened me."

Thomas grabbed Maya and Raven said, "He lost his right hand. So he's using his left for everything."

Phantom said, "Good. That makes him weak. Even Jennifer betrayed me."

They appeared home and they took the cake out and Maya asked, "Do you like it?"

Thomas stared at it and his eyes turned to hearts and Maya said, "I take that as a yes."

She cut the cake up and asked, "Do you have any place to sleep Jennifer?"

Jennifer answered, "Nope. I was planning on staying here."

Thomas said, "You can."

Maya said, "I was just about to say that. But Thomas, I decided who's going to kill Phantom Black."

Thomas said, "There's no need to tell me. Keep that to yourself till the day I know what kind of card I have."

Maya asked, "Are you sure about that Thomas?"

Thomas answered, "Yes. Keep it to yourself."

Jennifer said, "So you actually intend to kill him."

The 3 of them answered, "Yes we do. Do you not see what happened at the restaurant?"

They each got a quarter of the cake and ate it in 30 minutes while talking to each other and Mia asked, "So, will you go to the entrance exam in 2 days?"

Thomas answered, "Yes I will. I'm also going to do my best with only my left arm."

Jennifer said, "I was thrown out of the orphanage last year because of this magical card shit."

Thomas said, "It's a good thing that you aren't staying there. It's a very dangerous place."

Mia said, "I agree."

Maya said, "I'm with Thomas on this."

Jennifer said, "Well, at least we get to meet again Thomas."

Thomas said, "Yep. What a good birthday this was?"

They yelled, "What? You lost your hand, then got stabbed. What the hell is wrong with you?"

Thomas answered, "The cake was good. I got to see Mia again. And I also got to meet Jennifer again. That made me happy. But that dinner place helped me get my memory back. I must thank you."

Mia said, "Phantom almost killed you."

Thomas said, "No he didn't. He'll kill me. Not his people. That's what he intends to do to get this card."

Mia said, "I'll protect you."

Maya said, "The 3 of us will protect you till you are picked."

Thomas said, "I can handle that. Thank you for everything."

They said, "No problem."

Thomas walked to his room and got undressed and went to sleep.

2: The Entrance Exam

2 days later, Thomas wakes up early to take a shower. A minute after staying in the shower, Jennifer walks into the bathroom and hears the water from the showerhead.

She closed the door and asked herself, "Who is taking a shower?"

Thomas asked himself, "Who is out there?"

Jennifer did her normal hygiene that she did everyday and Thomas heard the footsteps getting closer to the tub and Thomas looks at his right arm and said, "I wish that I had my right hand again."

Jennifer heard that and moved the curtains and saw Thomas taking a shower and Thomas stared at her and asked, "How may I help you?"

Jennifer asked, "May I come in like in the orphanage?"

Thomas smiled and answered, "It's up to you. If you want to, I won't stop you at all."

Jennifer heard that and said, "You won't."

Thomas said, "I won't I said."

Mia and Maya were listening and smiled and said, "She loves him."

Jennifer got undressed and walked into the shower and asked, "Do you remember the promise that we made back then?"

Thomas heard that and answered, "No I don't. What was the promise?"

Jennifer answered, "That 1 day, we would meet after the orphanage."

Thomas heard that and said, "I made that promise."

Jennifer said, "Yep. Big brother."

They heard that and Thomas said, "You know Jennifer, if I'm only 16, wouldn't that make you older than me?"

Jennifer answered, "Nope, we're actually twins. You came out first. I came out right after you."

Thomas heard that and Jennifer hugged him and Thomas felt that and Jennifer said, "I love you Thomas."

Thomas heard that and said, "Of course you do Jennifer."

Mia said, "They get along just fine."

Maya started crying and Mia asked, "What's wrong with you?"

Maya answered, "This is too sad. I can't handle him growing up so much."

Mia said, "Very interesting."

Thomas heard something and said, "Get down."

Jennifer heard that and asked, "Why?"

Thomas answered, "Just do it."

Jennifer did and a bullet flew through the wall and hit Thomas's right arm and Thomas flew back a little and Phantom said, "A direct hit. Good."

Jennifer stared at Thomas and saw him holding his arm and then looked at the hole through the wall and said, "A sniper."

Thomas said, "Phantom. I'm going to kill you."

The box that held his explanation card started glowing and Thomas saw that and said, "It's glowing."

Jennifer asked, "What does that mean?"

Thomas answered, "A card has finally been chosen for me."

Thomas continued scrubbing himself and Jennifer asked, "Aren't you going to check it out?"

Thomas answered, "Nope. It'll be better if the family sees it together."

Jennifer heard that and said, "We are family."

Thomas said, "I said the entire family pretty girl. Not just me and you."

Jennifer said, "Oh, I knew that. I'm sorry."

Thomas said, "No problem. So don't be sorry."

Thomas finished taking his shower and dried himself off and then put his underwear on and then shorts and grabbed the box and exited the room and stared at Mia and Maya and said, "I should bash your skulls together for eavesdropping. But I won't."

Mia said, "What is the card?"

Thomas said, "Hurry up and get out of the shower Jennifer."

Maya said, "We'll be in the kitchen eating. So please hurry before your food gets cold."

Jennifer said, "OK."

They walked to the kitchen and Jennifer finished with her shower and dried herself and got dressed and walked to the kitchen and saw Thomas being fed by Mia and said, "No, that's my job."

Mia said, "You weren't here and he was hungry. So I had to do something."

Maya smiled and said, "Brother and sister love. I can't stop myself from crying."

Thomas said, "You need to before the entrance exam."

Maya heard that and said, "I forgot all about that. You're right about that Thomas."

Mia said, "It's soon. It's like after we're done eating here. We have to bring you there."

Thomas said, "I guess so."

Jennifer sat down and asked, "Before we go, what does the card look like?"

Mia said, "I want to know too."

Maya said, "Show us Thomas."

Thomas smiled and said, "OK."

Thomas took out the box and put it where his right hand would be and took the key out with his left hand and put it in the keyhole and opened it and took out the card and said, "It's Ancalagon the Black."

Maya heard that and said, "Amazing. The monster choose you. The most legendary card in the world chose you. Let's go to the entrance exam."

Ancalagon the Black saw that he was injured and gave him a new arm by cutting off his entire arm and putting a dragon formed arm on him and Thomas saw that and started making a fist and said, "A new arm. Thank you dragon."

Thomas walked to his room and put on his shirt and said, "Now let's go."

Maya said, "OK. To the car."

They ran to the car and drove off to Red Dragon Academy.

As soon as they got there, Thomas walked to the entrance and the teacher, Jessica Fleming asked, "Are you a new student here?"

Thomas answered, "Yep. Thomas Greenfield."

Jessica heard that and said, "OK Thomas. Walk to room 1-B."

Thomas said, "OK."

Thomas walked to room 1-B and everyone was talking about something and Thomas sat down wherever there was an empty seat and then the bell rang and the principal, Hana Aoi said, "Welcome to Red Dragon Academy everyone. Starting today, you all are students of the school. So if you didn't wake up with a card with magic in it, you must leave. If you don't want to, the Dragon Squad will take you out instead. But allow the tests to be distributed. As soon as the teacher says begin, you start the test. Have fun everyone."

As soon as the teachers handed out the tests, they said, "Begin."

Thomas stared at the test and scratched his head and asked himself, "What the hell is this shit? I don't understand a damn thing on this test."

Ancalagon the Black smiled and told him to do his best. Thomas sat there for 5 minutes on 1 question when everyone else is a quarter way done. Thomas stared at the questions and answers and wrote down the answers that he thought were right and the teacher stared at his right arm and everyone finished except for Thomas. He finished 2 minutes later.

He handed his test in to the teacher and the teacher grabbed his right arm and felt the scales and said, "It looks like a normal right arm but it's not. It seems that you lost you mind."

Thomas said, "I chopped my arm off because it was injured. I didn't lose my mind at all ma'am."

She heard that and Maya walked in and said, "Grade his test please."

Thomas turned around and Maya said, "Stay right there."

Thomas was about to move and said, "Jeez."

The teacher graded it and handed it to Maya and said, "There's your answer."

Maya said, "Good job Thomas. You may sit down now."

Thomas did and Maya said, "Don't worry about his arm. It got chopped off on his birthday 2 days ago. His magical card gave him a new arm. And I think that you might be amazed at what he has as well. For the fighting part of the test."

They said, "There's a fighting part."

Maya said, "Have fun. Can't wait to see all of the teachers faces when they see it."

They heard that and stared at Thomas and asked, "What is she talking about? Do you know her?"

Thomas answered, "She's my mom."

The students yelled, "What?"

Thomas heard that and they went to him and asked, "Is she strong? How strong is she? Would I win in a battle against her?"

Thomas answered, "She's a lot stronger than all of us combined. And you all will get dominated for sure."

Maya smiled and said, "Not true. Just kidding. I'm the leader of the Dragon Squad. It's nice to meet you all."

They said, "It's nice to meet you too Mrs. Greenfield."

Maya said, "I'm single now. My ex is a criminal. So he's the Dragon Squad's enemy, right Thomas."

Thomas nodded and Phantom walked into the school looking for Maya and Maya looked out and saw him and said, "Oh boy. See you all later."

They said, "See you later."

Maya closed the door and asked, "Why are you here Phantom?"

Phantom answered, "To kill Thomas. I want that explanation card."

Maya said, "It's too late. It already chose a card for him."

Phantom asked, "What was it?"

Maya answered, "An assassin."

Phantom said, "Poor thing. He's weak. He'll never be able to kill me with an assassin. My cards will kill him in seconds."

Maya smiled and said, "OK."

Phantom walked outside and said, "See you later Maya."

Thomas smiled and said to himself, "She's smarter than I thought."

They went back to there seats and the teachers smiled and Hana said, "All of the tests have been collected. Now head to your designated arena floors. As soon as Thomas Greenfield is up, we will put him on all of the screens for everyone to watch him. Because Maya Greenfield thinks that his card is a legendary card. I doubt it though. Go now."

Thomas laughed and said, "Man, she always goes overboard just for me."

They heard that and said, "Your mom is so cool."

Thomas heard that and said, "Thank you."

They walked to arena 2 and the teacher said, "OK, there'll be battles between 2 people. So first up, we have Tatsuya Aoi and Helina Jenkins. Good luck."

They walked up and Maya walked in and Hana said, "As soon as the 4 winners of the 4 arena's are settled, then arena 1 and 2 winners will verse each other and arena 3 and 4 winners will verse each other. Have fun."

Everyone heard that and said, "The winner moves on to the next stage."

Thomas said, "This'll be fun. There's nothing to worry about."

The battle's of arena 2 were at it's last. Thomas Greenfield vs. Tatsuya Aoi. Maya put it on the screens and everyone stopped and asked, "What is going on here?"

The teacher said, "This is the final match for arena 2. Thomas Greenfield vs. Tatsuya Aoi. The winner will verse the winner of arena 1. These 2 have no signs of weakness. As soon as the magical beast that appears disappears or dies, the match ends. Summon your magical beings now please."

Tatsuya said, "Fire Dragon."

His fire dragon appeared and Thomas smiled and said, "Ancalagon the Black."

The biggest dragon and most legendary of them all appeared and everyone saw that and asked, "What is that thing?"

Hana said, "Impossible. The dragon from Lord of the Rings. He's got the strongest dragon in the world. That's a legendary card all right."

Tatsuya saw the dragon and said, "Impossible. There's no way I can beat this thing."

Thomas smiled and said, "Let's go fire dragon."

Ancalagon the Black said, "Here I come fire dragon."

Tatsuya heard him speak and said, "He speaks too."

Ancalagon the Black lifted it's foot up and slammed it into the ground causing an earthquake and everyone fell except for Thomas and Tatsuya said, "This is insane. That thing is impossible to beat."

Thomas said, "It's possible to beat it. You just need to find out how."

Tatsuya said, "Attack him."

Thomas smiled and said, "Block all of it's attacks."

The 2 shot a fire breath at each other and Ancalagon the Black's breath overpowered the fire dragons and hit him and went to Tatsuya and Thomas saw that and ran to him and blocked the flames from hitting him and burning him to death and Tatsuya saw that and Ancalagon stopped and the fire dragon was inactive and Thomas smiled and said, "I love this."

Everyone saw the power of Thomas Greenfield and said, "There's no way that we can defeat that dragon. Can we just say that Thomas is number 1?"

Thomas started laughing and said, "Go back into your card."

Ancalagon the Black ran toward Thomas and went back into the card and while he was in the card, Thomas was in the smoke and everyone asked, "Where's Thomas?"

Mia saw the smoke and asked, "What happened?"

Maya smiled and said, "He's the next member of Dragon Squad. The Unstoppable Monster has been awoken."

The smoke disappeared and Thomas appeared with his skin burnt everywhere except for his dragon arm.

Thomas said, "Ancalagon the Black, heal my body please."

Ancalagon the Black said, "Yessir."

The skin and body turned into dragon parts and Thomas smiled and said, "I haven't felt this good since I got out of the orphanage."

The Student Council President, Mayumi Hellion saw that man and said, "Little brother. He's enrolled into this school as well. OK, I must challenge him."

Phantom walked in and said, "Thomas Greenfield, or should I say, Thomas Hellion."

Thomas said, "Phantom."

Phantom asked, "Why are you so pissed Thomas? I didn't do a thing to you."

Thomas answered, "You shot me with a sniper this morning. Now do I get to kill him."

Maya said, "I guess so. You are the monster after all."

Phantom said, "Huh, he's the monster after. What the hell is that supposed to mean to me?"

Hana answered, "You'll see."

Phantom asked, "Why is everyone on Thomas's side? He's the demon child that's been wanted dead for years."

Mayumi heard that and said, "That's enough talk about my little brother. I'm Mayumi Hellion, the Student Council President. So leave him be."

Phantom said, "I can't do that. Panther."

Panther appeared and Thomas stared at him and Phantom said, "Kill him this time."

Maya said, "It's not going to work."

Panther ran toward Thomas and Thomas stared at him and snapped his fingers and panther stopped and Thomas said, "Come here boy."

Panther ran to him and started panting and Thomas started pet him and said, "That's a good boy."

Panther smiled and Phantom saw that and said, "It happened again."

Mayumi said, "He can also tame the opponents beast. How about this? A battle between the 2 of you. Who will win?"

Maya answered, "Phantom will lose of course."

Phantom said, "Huh. Kill her."

Raven appeared and tossed a knife at her and Thomas walked into the knife and said, "Amazing. Actual dragon scales. I love this. Just losing an arm is enough for me everyone."

Phantom said, "I can't even do that."

Thomas said, "Jennifer Hellion, where you at?"

Jennifer appeared and asked, "What's wrong?"

Thomas answered, "A 2 on 2 battle. Twins vs. Phantom and Raven."

Mayumi heard that and said, "Twins. Oh yes, I forgot all about her after I left the orphanage. That orphanage created demons. The 3 of us are Hellions. The others were amazing beings."

Thomas said, "Yep. There was 1 more Hellion. But she's been locked up ever since I got there."

Mayumi heard that and said, "OK."

Phantom snapped his fingers and a real life dragon appeared and Mayumi said, "I'll take the dragon little man."

Thomas said, "OK big sis."

3: Hellion's vs. Phantom Black, Dragon and Raven Garcia

Mayumi said, "This is awesome. I guess that I'll say, Bane, the Berserker."

Bane appeared as a bigass man and the dragon said, "You can't be serious. That's my opponent. OK."

Bane roared and a deadly blow appeared and Thomas said, "Ancalagon the Black."

The biggest dragon in the world appeared and Phantom saw that and said, "Oh shit. That thing is worse than I expected. Wait a minute. I thought that you said that his card was an assassin."

Maya laughed and said, "I lied. That's the strongest card in this school. You can't beat him."

Thomas said, "Stomp on the ground already."

Ancalagon did and the ground started shaking and Phantom fell along with Raven and Dragon and Jennifer said, "Water Goddess."

They yelled, "Finish them off."

Ancalagon appeared on top of Phantom and Phantom saw that and screamed, "Don't crush me Thomas. Please forgive me for everything I made you do."

Mia heard that and Thomas said, "I don't accept your apology. Do it."

Ancalagon fell to the ground and Phantom grinned and said, "Berserker."

The Water Goddess made water appear and made it fly toward Raven and Raven said, "Mirror."

A mirror appeared and the water hit the mirror and flew back toward the Water Goddess and Bane swung his axe at the Dragon and said, "Bane not happy. You threaten master's brother."

Mayumi laughed and the Dragon said, "Your master's brother is dead. He had his arm chopped off yesterday."

Thomas looked at his arm and said, "You're right about that Dragon. But the only thing that you didn't know is that Phantom will die."

The Dragon heard that and said, "You're willing to bet on that."

Thomas said, "Yes I am."

The Dragon heard that and the Berserker roared at Ancalagon and Ancalagon just fell on top of him and the Berserker lifted him up and Ancalagon turned his head toward Thomas and Thomas nodded and as soon as Berserker threw Ancalagon off of him, Ancalagon put his wings out and started flying into the safety zone and Berserker grinned and the Dragon said, "You bastard. You think you've won."

Thomas said, "Use your roar."

Ancalagon nodded and opened his mouth and sucked in the air and Bane said, "You're not even paying attention to me."

The Dragon said, "Chaos."

Chaos is a strong card that only a Berserker can defeat.

Bane swung immediately and Chaos took out a sword and blocked it and Bane smiled and brought his axe back and then Chaos ran toward Bane and jumped up and Bane punched Chaos and then swung and chopped him in half and the Dragon saw that and said, "You bastard. You think that changes anything."

Bane swung at Dragon and missed and the Water Goddess said, "It's time to break the mirror with my own water."

Jennifer said, "Do it."

The Water Goddess grabbed her water that was thrown back at her and threw it back at full force going 400 MPH in less than 1 second.

The water flew toward the mirror and hit it and the mirror shattered into pieces and flew toward Raven and Raven saw the water and said, "Oh shit. I can't lose here. Michael, Archangel."

Michael appeared too late. The water hit her and she screamed and Michael started glitching out of the arena. And sooner or later, he did vanish completely.

Jennifer said, "I'm done with my person."

Mayumi and Thomas heard that and said, "Show off."

Jennifer laughed and said, "I'm not a show off. I only defeated my opponent first."

Ancalagon blew out a very large breath and the Berserker saw it flying toward him and Phantom said, "Thor."

Thor appeared and the breath flew right into them and burnt them to death and Phantom screamed for his life and Thor flew toward Ancalagon and swung its hammer and Ancalagon flew toward Thor and chewed him up and then flew toward Phantom and Bane grabbed the Dragon and threw him up and as soon as he got close to Bane, Bane sliced the Dragon in half killing him. Phantom saw his people die and he had 3rd degree burns all over his body and Ancalagon flew into the ground and crushing Phantom and destroying a lot of the ground.

Maya saw all of the damage and said, "OK. All magical cards beasts must go back into there cards."

They nodded and went back into the cards and Maya said, "Repair."

Thomas said, "My job is done right."

Maya said, "Yep. You 3 make a great team."

Jennifer said, "We're related. I'm Jennifer Hellion."

Mayumi said, "I'm Mayumi Hellion."

Thomas said, "I'm Thomas Hellion."

They said, "We were raised to kill people."

Mia heard that and asked, "Who raised you to kill people?"

Mayumi answered, "The orphanage that we went to. We all have injuries from being there. As soon as Thomas was brought to another room, we started crying. He was like an older brother."

Thomas said, "I was."

Jennifer said, "Yep. You took the blame for everything that you never did and what you did do. Everyone was grateful for that. But then you disappeared and we all were caught doing bad things."

Mayumi said, "Yep. Everyone in that orphanage has the last name Hellion. It raises hell everywhere we go."

Hana said, "OK. I'll just admit that Thomas Greenfield is victorious. We already know the outcome now. He literally killed a God with a dragon. The tournament is off. Thomas wins already."

Thomas nodded and said, "Good decision miss."

Hana said, "I agree. It was a good decision."

Tatsuya said, "You really showed everyone how insane you are Thomas."

Thomas said, "Thank you."
