A 16 year old boy named Thomas Hellion was in the hospital because of the pains that he’s been having all over his body.

Dr. Helio asked, “Where did the pain start Thomas?”

Thomas answered, “My head.”

Dr. Helio asked, “Where next?”

Thomas answered, “My chest.”

Dr. Helio heard that and said, “It can’t be. Where else? Name all of them please?”

Thomas answered, “OK. From my chest to my arms. My arms to my stomach. My stomach to my legs. Then the entire body starts hurting.”

Dr. Helio’s jaw dropped and asked, “How is this even possible? I only heard of this in adults. Not kids. Have you ever coughed out blood when you’re in pain?”

Jessica Hellion answered, “Yes he did.”

Dr. Helio said, “This disease that you have is going to kill you Thomas. There’s no cure to it. 2570 people died from this disease already. And we’re still trying to figure out how to cure it.”

Jessica heard that and asked, “How long do you think he has to live?”

Dr. Helio answered, “According to his current condition, the pain will get worse. And when his brain and heart can’t take it anymore, it’ll explode or just stop working completely. So probably a month.”

Thomas heard that and started crying and his mother comforted him and said, “It’s going to be alright Thomas. It’s going to be alright.”

Thomas stood up and said, “I don’t want to die just yet. But if the day comes, I’ll be ready for it.”

They heard that and said, “OK.”

Thomas said, “Thank you for telling me doc. That I only have about a month to live.”

Dr. Helio asked, “Are you really happy about this situation Thomas?”

Thomas answered, “No I’m not. I’m just glad to know how much time I have left. So I’ll be walking around the park now.”

Jessica said, “OK. Have fun.”

Thomas said, “Yep. I will.”

Thomas walked outside and smiled at everyone that he walked passed and then his smile went away.

Jessica drove the way Thomas was headed and Thomas saw the car and waved and Jessica did as well and then she got to the crossroad and a speeding car appeared and Thomas saw that and ran to the car and Jessica turned her head and saw the car and tried stopping, but the other car smashed right into her car and Thomas stopped running and he started crying and asked himself, “Why didn’t I try to yell for her to stop? Am I really this useless? Do I really deserve to live?”

The driver got out of the car unharmed and ran away and the 2 cars exploded and Thomas felt a pain in his chest and asked, “Why did the pain start in the chest this time?”

The ambulance appeared at the accident because the hospital was right there and Dr. Helio saw Thomas staring at the fire and ran to him and asked, “What happened here Thomas?”

Thomas answered, “My mom. My mom just died in front of my eyes. She was driving slow and then a speeding car appeared out of nowhere and drove into her car. But I saw the other driver escape from the other car.”

Dr. Helio heard that and asked, “How was the other person’s condition?”

Thomas answered, “Not a scratch on him. Like nothing happened at all.”

Dr. Jordan said, “You can’t be serious. That’s a Possessed person. A person that was near death and a Possessor appeared to ask if he/she wanted to live any longer. Those people are able to do a lot of things that us normal humans can’t do.”

Thomas said, “But does the Possessed person actually live longer?”

Dr. Jordan answered, “That, we don’t actually know yet Thomas.”

Thomas said, “I see. They sound truly amazing.”

Dr. Helio said, “They aren’t. They’re actually criminals. Taking over the human bodies mind. Telling them to kill.”

Thomas gave a smirk and said, “I see. I guess that it wasn’t good for me to live after all. I lost my father the exact same way.”

Dr. Helio asked, “Do you have any siblings?”

Thomas answered, “Nope. I’m the only child. I guess I’ll be going to the park now. To get some things out of my head.”

They said, “OK.”

Thomas walked toward the park and it took him 40 minutes to get there. As soon as he got there, he walked to his friends from Bacon County High School. Thomas was a 9th grade student unlike his friends. They’re 10th grade students because Thomas stayed back in his first year in the school.

Georgia Kabia waved and said, “Hello Thomas.”

Henry Johnson asked, “Why are you down Thomas?”

Thomas walked over to them and asked, “What would you do if you watched your parents die both times?”

They asked, “Why are you asking us that?”

Thomas answered, “Please answer the question. And then I’ll tell you.”

Georgia answered, “I would probably come here to think about the future.”

Henry said, “I would probably kill myself.”

Thomas said, “The reason why I asked is because I just watched my mom get killed the same way my dad got killed.”

They heard that and said, “No way. But why are you here then?”

Thomas answered, “To think about what I should do within a month.”

Georgia said, “In a month. What do you mean?”

Henry asked, “Why just a month?”

Thomas answered, “I’m dying guys. I probably only have a month left to live according to the doctors. I just came from there.”

Henry fell and said, “Only a month to live.”

Georgia hugged him and asked, “Will there be a funeral?”

Thomas answered, “Yes there will.”

Dr. Helio appeared and said, “If you want a funeral, I’ll make it happen Thomas.”

Thomas said, “It’s a family tradition. As soon as a member of the family dies, we give them a funeral.”

Dr. Helio asked, “Is that so?”

Thomas answered, “Yep. Make the funeral arrangements please.”

Dr. Helio said, “Got it. See you around Thomas.”

Thomas said, “Yep, see you around doc.”

Dr. Helio walked to the ambulance and said, “He wants to have a funeral for his mom. And he says that it’s a family tradition. How stupid is that kid?”

Dr. Jordan said, “Shut up and make the funeral happen.”

Dr. Jordan drove off to the hospital and Thomas walked to the swingset and moved himself back and forth. Thomas’s eyes were 2 different colors, his left eye is blue and his right eye is green. He had long scarlett hair and Thomas wasn’t pleased with what was going on around him.

Henry asked, “Are you going to be ok here Thomas? We have to go.”

Thomas answered, “I’ll be fine. See you tomorrow I guess.”

Georgia said, “If you need anything Thomas, just come to my house. We’ll lend you a hand.”

Thomas said, “Got it. I’ll take you up on that request for dinner tonight.”

Henry said, “OK. Do you mind if I come as well?”

Georgia answered, “Sure. Plus, where are we going for now? My house? Or your house?”

Henry answered, “Your house.”

Georgia said, “OK. Well, see you at my house Thomas. Be there by 6 P.M.”

Thomas said, “I will.”

They left and Thomas said, “6 P.M. eh. What time is it now?”

A girl appeared in the swingset next to Thomas’s and answered, “It’s 3:40 P.M.”

Thomas heard that and turned his head and saw a girl and asked, “Who are you?”

The girl answered, “A friend of yours.”

Thomas said, “Really. I never saw you before in my life.”

The girl laughed and said, “You might be right about that. But I have a question to ask you.”

Thomas said, “You have a question to ask me? I don’t even know who you are.”

The girl answered, “Yes I do. And allow me to introduce myself. I’m Raven Tensen, a friend.”

Thomas said, “I never heard of you. And please stop calling me your friend. We just met and you’re really pissing me off.”

Raven asked, “May I ask the question now?”

Thomas answered, “Yes you may.”

Raven asked, “Would you like to live a little longer, honey?”

Thomas heard that and answered, “First of all, I’m not your honey. Second, I would love to live longer. But for what purpose? Third, do I deserve to live? Everywhere I go, someone dies near me.”

Raven heard that and answered, “You do deserve to live. It’s not your fault that people die all around you. It’s the Possessed killing them. And I’m sorry about your mother and father.”

Thomas said, “Of course you are. Wait, why am I allowing her to feel bad for them?”

Raven answered, “I knew both of them. But they died the same way right.”

Thomas said, “Yeah, but how’d you know that?”

Raven answered, “I’ve been watching you for some time now. We Possessors watch the people that are about to die before choosing if they’re worthy of still living.”

Thomas said, “You’re a Possessor. But why me?”

Raven answered, “You’re a good man. But I think that if I worked with you, I could kill the other Possessor’s. If you want to live longer, I could make you immortal. That is only if you want to live longer.”

Thomas asked, “Will it make my pain disappear as well?”

Raven smiled and answered, “Yes it will.”

Thomas heard that and said, “Interesting indeed. How long have you been watching me?”

Raven answered, “Since the pain started.”

Thomas asked, “How long ago was that?”

Raven answered, “2 months ago. Did you ever feel like you were being watched?”

Thomas answered, “Yes I do. But I didn’t care why though.”

Raven said, “Interesting, you really are an interesting young man. How do you feel right now?”

Thomas answered, “Not that bad. But before when the cars blew up, only my chest started hurting.”

Raven said, “You really are dying. So, why do you want to live Thomas?”

Thomas answered, “I don’t know Raven. First, I might want to avenge my mom and dad. Second, get a girlfriend. Third, get a job in what I’m good at. And finally, settle down and relax as much as I can before I do all that.”

Raven started laughing and said, “Damn, I can’t stop laughing. Are you a comedian or something like that?”

Thomas answered, “No I’m not. I’m just a regular human being that wants his mom and dad around. But they are dead now. So I’ll be lonely.”

Raven said, “No you won’t. I’ll be with you.”

Thomas said, “I wasn’t done speaking yet Raven.”

Raven said, “I’m sorry.”

Thomas said, “But I still have my friends. As long as they are alive, I’m not lonely. I’m happy.”

Raven heard that and asked, “Am I 1 of those friends?”

Thomas answered, “Hell no. But you might be if you allow me to avenge my parents.”

Raven heard that and said, “Your wish is my command.”

Thomas said, “OK then. How does this Possessed and Possessor thing work anyway?”

Raven answered, “It hurts a lot.”

Thomas said, “So you are saying that I’m going to regret it.”

Raven said, “Most likely.”

Thomas said, “Good enough. Do I have to stand still?”

Raven answered, “Yes you do.”

Thomas smiled and jumped off of the swingset and landed on his feet and then the swing flew toward him and Thomas saw that and said, “That was pretty dumb of me.”

Raven smiled and put her hand out and the swing slowed down and Thomas saw that and his jaw dropped and asked, “What did you do?”

Raven answered, “I used magic that allowed me to slow down time a little.”

Thomas moved out of the way and Raven snapped and the swing continued moving again and Raven said, “You are an idiot.”

Thomas said, “Yes I am. I’m kind of used to being called an idiot by now.”

Raven smiled and said, “OK. Wait, why are you kind of used to it?”

Thomas answered, “In school. I get bullied all the time for being dumb. And they don’t believe that my dad died by a speeding car and the driver escaped with no scratches. I failed mostly all of my classes. So I had to stay back in the 9th grade. My life sucks.”

Raven asked, “Have you ever gotten into a physical fight before?”

Thomas answered, “Yes.”

Raven asked, “How many and how many did you win?”

Thomas answered, “In all my years of school, I’ve been in over 300 fights. And lost them all.”

Raven asked, “What would you do if I gave you the power to fight the bullies? And allow you to win in a fight.”

Thomas said, “Without killing them right.”

Raven said, “Of course. I only want the Possessor’s dead Thomas. Not the bullies.”

Thomas said, “OK. I would love that power.”

Raven said, “OK. 1 more question.”

Thomas said, “Ask away.”

Raven asked, “Why do you like the park?”

Thomas answered, “The park allows me to get things off my mind. So I would always go to the swingset and start swinging myself back and forth till I got everything out. But do you know who killed my mom and dad?”

Raven answered, “To be honest with you, no. But if we continue looking, we will find that person or 2 people. So we need to work together.”

Thomas said, “OK. Do as you wish. I’ll help you kill the Possessors. That’s only if you still want me to help out.”

Raven said, “I’d love to have you help out. But first, you have to promise me something.”

Thomas asked, “What is it?”

Raven answered, “We’re both humans. And we Possessors always hide in the shadow, till it’s the perfect time to show ourselves.”

Thomas said, “I thought that you were aliens from another planet. But I guess that I was wrong. What’s the question?”

Raven asked, “Would you marry me?”

Thomas heard that and asked, “Why? We just met.”

Raven answered, “I’m not like the other Possessors. The only Possessors can change forms of women to men. But I can’t even change from this girl. Do you dislike me?”

Thomas answered, “I don’t dislike you. I actually have a feeling that I don’t want to explain out loud.”

Raven said, “So when this is all over, will you marry me and keep the promise too?”

Thomas walked toward her and put his hands on her shoulders and smiled and said, “OK Raven. You really are a pretty girl. Are you like an adult or something?”

Raven answered, “Not at all. I’m actually 16 years old. Turning 17 on November 7th. How old are you?”

Thomas answered, “16 and my birthday is November 7th as well. We’ll get along just fine.”

Raven hugged him and said, “Thank you. My last person failed my expectations. But you’re different. I can tell by the tone of your body.”

Thomas said, “You can tell just by looking at my body.”

Raven said, “Yep. I know that it’s insane, but we Possessors can actually see through your clothes.”

Thomas said, “You can.”

Raven said, “Yep.”

Thomas said, “I don’t think that you should have told me that Raven.”

Raven asked, “Why? Is there something wrong?”

Thomas answered, “Yes. You said that you Possessors could see through clothes right.”

Raven said, “Yep.”

Thomas said, “That also means that you can tell if I have a dick or not.”

Raven said, “Yes I can. But are you sure that you don’t want me looking down there?”

Thomas answered, “Yeah, I’m sure about that Raven.”

Raven smiled and said, “It’s too late. I told you that we Possessors hide in the shadows right. So when you’re taking a shower, we see how big your dick is.”

Thomas said, “You bastard. But I guess that can’t be helped. But you are a pretty women you know. Why were the Possessors made?”

Raven answered, “To end the world as we know it. But I’m the only Possessor that doesn’t want that to happen.”

Thomas said, “So we’re up against an army of undead soldiers.”

Raven smiled and answered, “Not at all. They aren’t dead Thomas. They are actually alive until the Possessor gives up on there owners body. Then they’ll die. And become the undead.”

Thomas said, “Like a zombie.”

Raven said, “Yep. So the world as you once knew it could be filled with zombies soon.”

Thomas said, “That’s insane. So they are declaring war with the world most likely.”

Raven said, “Yep. Don’t you think that they are in the wrong? We need to protect the world. And I forgot to mention that there are bases all over the world that hold Possessors. So it’s not only the United States.”

Thomas said, “Not just the US. Where did the world that I once knew go?”

Raven answered, “That’s a good question Thomas. That’s what I want to know. But as soon as the Possessors were made, the world became corrupt. So we’re going to stop the corruption and we’re going to save this world. Do you agree with that?”

Thomas answered, “Yes I do.”

Raven asked, “Are you ready? There’s been enough talk.”

Thomas smiled and said, “You’re right. Do whatever you were going to do.”

Raven said, “I have to punch you 30 times in the stomach or until you cough out blood. But if you cough out blood earlier than 30 times or between 27 to 33 you won’t have to get hit anymore. But if it’s earlier or never, I have to continue till you cough out blood.”

Thomas put his hands behind his back and said, “Begin whenever you’re ready.”

Raven did and 10 minutes later, Thomas started coughing out blood.

Raven stopped and kissed him and he absorbed all of the power that she offered him and then she hugged him and her entire body was absorbed by Thomas and Raven asked, “How do you feel?”

Thomas answered, “Terrible. I feel like died.”

Raven said, “Good, then it’s working. And if you’re going to make it to your friends place, you might want to hurry. It’s almost dinner time now.”

Thomas asked, “What time is it?”

Raven answered, “5 P.M.”

Thomas said, “I have plenty of time. I have to be there by 6 P.M. and it takes 30 minutes to get there. So I might as well just leave now.”

Raven laughed and said, “You just contradicted yourself.”

Thomas smiled and asked, “What does that mean?”

Raven asked, “What do you mean “What does that mean?”

Thomas answered, “I don’t know the definition of the word contradicted.”

Raven said, “I will not answer that. Look it up in the dictionary.”

Thomas said, “You really are mean as hell.”

Raven said, “Thank you.”

Thomas started walking to Georgia’s house.

2: Dinner at Georgia's House

Thomas walked to Georgia's house and Raven asked, "Why do you think humans die?"

Thomas answered, "Because we're weak."

Raven answered, "Yes, but there's another reason."

Thomas said, "There's another reason. What is the other reason?"

Raven answered, "The Possessed appear out of nowhere and attack you. It's that simple."

Thomas said, "That's not simple at all. That's just a whole bunch of bullshit."

They got to Georgia's house and Thomas walked to her house and knocked on the door and Georgia opened the door and saw Thomas and said, "You made it Thomas. Come on in."

Thomas walked in and said, "Thank you for having me."

Mrs. Kabia said, "No problem Thomas. I'm really sorry about your mother. She was on her way here when she died."

Thomas said, "I guess that was where she was going."

Mrs. Kabia said, "The food should be done in 10 minutes Thomas. So hang around."

Thomas said, "Thank you very much."

Henry asked, "Who was at the door?"

Georgia answered, "Thomas. He's talking to my mother now."

Thomas walked into the living room and said, "No I'm not. I'm right here."

Henry asked, "What did you talk about with her mom?"

Thomas answered, "My mothers death. It seems that she was on her way here when she died."

Georgia said, "I'm so sorry Thomas."

Thomas said, "Don't be. It was an accident."

Henry asked, "How long did it take you to walk here?"

Thomas answered, "50 minutes."

Georgia said, "That's amazing. It took us an hour to get here."

Thomas heard that and said, "Not that bad. I was walking with my normal pace."

Georgia heard that and Henry said, "Of course you did. Speed walking."

Thomas said, "If you say so."

Georgia said, "He walks just like us idiot."

Henry said, "You're right."

Mrs. Kabia said, "Food's ready. The dining room is waiting for you all."

Thomas said, "Food eh."

Henry said, "Let's eat."

Georgia said, "I agree, I'm starving."

Thomas said, "So am I."

They walked to the dining room and Mrs. Kabia saw Thomas and said, "I remembered that you like to eat a lot of food Thomas. So your plate is all the way on the other side of me."

Thomas said, "I see. Thank you very much."

Thomas sat down in front of his food and started eating.

Henry said, "He never changes. Even though he's dying."

Mrs. Kabia said, "You only have a month to live right."

Thomas said, "Yep."

Georgia asked, "Is that what the doctors really said Thomas?"

Thomas answered, "Yes they did. I only have a month to live my good life."

Mrs. Kabia asked, "Would you like to live here for that month?"

Thomas answered, "Nope, I'm sorry. I really didn't want to refuse your request, but I want to roam the world before I die. So I'll be roaming the world soon."

They heard that and asked, "Are you sure that you would want that Thomas?"

Thomas answered, "Yes I am sure."

Georgia asked, "Can I join you?"

Thomas answered, "I don't know. That's up to her."

Mrs. Kabia smiled and said, "Well, I must say that an adventure couldn't hurt her. But it'll hurt her perfect attendance."

Georgia said, "I never liked school anyway mom."

Thomas said, "No one likes school Georgia. Except for the people that want to learn. They're just idiots."

Mrs. Kabia said, "I agree with you Thomas. School is for the idiots in the world that want to go to school. So how far in the world do you plan on going?"

Thomas answered, "All over the world. I don't care where. Just to do what I want before I die."

Henry asked, "What is that?"

Thomas answered, "Good question."

Mrs. Kabia asked, "What does it take to feel pain?"

Thomas answered, "You don't want to know. And you don't want to feel the pain that I am in."

Georgia asked, "How painful is it?"

Thomas answered, "Deadly. You might want to kill yourself."

Mrs. Kabia put her fork and knife down and said, "Dammit Thomas. I lost my appetite."

Thomas said, "Good. I'll eat your food."

They looked at his plate and saw that it was empty and yelled, "When did you finish your food?"

Thomas answered, "While we were talking. And I'm still hungry."

They handed Thomas all of there food that they had left and Thomas started eating it like there was no tomorrow.

They saw that and asked, "When will you stop eating?"

Thomas answered, "I don't know that. But I can eat all day."

Georgia said, "Maybe that's why you're dying. You eat too much."

Mrs. Kabia said, "She might have a point."

Thomas said, "I noticed. But that's not it either. My mom and I asked the doctor about this topic. He said that eating is never the problem. It's just carried down from 1 of your parents."

Henry heard that and said, "You can't be serious."

Thomas said, "I am serious."

Mrs. Kabia said, "You'll die before we know it."

Thomas smiled and said, "You're right. I will die. See you around. And thank you for the meal. I needed that."

Thomas stood up and hugged them and said, "See you sooner or later."

They heard that and said, "See you later Thomas."

Thomas exited the house and Georgia started crying and Raven said, "She's crying."

Thomas said, "I know that. Where to first?"

Raven answered, "Around the block. There's a Possessor named Georgia Pabrezis. And the Possessed is Jack Potter. They are our first target. Kill them."

Thomas said, "Yes ma'am. Got any armor."

Raven said, "Thank you for asking. Dragon Age Bloodshed Armor."

As soon as she said that, the gear appeared on him and the civilians saw that and started running away while screaming and Mrs. Kabia asked, "What's going on out there?"

As soon as she opened the door she saw an armored man.
