Some days, they won.
Some days they didn't.
It would be a blatant lie to say it didn't affect them, because it did.
Some days affected them more than others, days when a teammate got hurt, or worse.
Some days, to be brutally honest, the biggest affect it had was an extra pile of paperwork.
Some days, they were the days it was worst; the days that left them lying, completely exhausted, but wide awake at night, reliving the shedding of innocent blood.
Some days they won.
Some days they didn't.
Every day they held each other close when it was over, and counted that as a win.
