I am Lauren Rose, just an average amateur writer from Australia. I'm currently 17 years old and can be found on fictionpress as well, and various other sites.
I wont put my entire life story here, however if you want to know more about me or want to talk about writing (or anything else) feel free to message me, I don't bite!
This was written in a way that was easy to relate to, and the thought patterns in the writing were, in my opinion, a lot like how people think, which is good.

I think if it isn't making you happy, you shouldn't do it. I mean, unless you believe in reincarnation or whatever, you only live once. So do what makes you happy, and don't limit yourself. It's okay to want to be attractive, and it's okay to want to be healthy, and look good, but there's too much pressure put on everyone, particularly females, to look like the girl in the magazine, and it kind of sucks the fun out of life.
But we don't really teach anyone that not caring about what other people think of your appearance is important to feel good. I don't know, I meant to type up a concise answer but I feel this turned into more of a ramble than I meant.
Anyways, what I was trying to say is if you think it's worth it than it is but don't live your life dictated by what others think and certainly don't force yourself to look good for others because in the end we wont look good enough to some people.

This is really good so far! I can't wait for the next chapter, and I think you write really well. This is an interesting chapter too.
