Dindeen Jaro's Bio

    Hello world!

I am an instructor, a programmer, a daughter, a sister, a dog's master and a cat's slave. In my spare time, I read, write, draw, cook or play FFXIV:ARR.

My favourite genre, be it movies, books or games, is fantasy. Accordingly, the first story that I've started here is a fantasy fiction however, I categorized it under 'adventure' because as I read and re-read The World, the adventure elements were more noticeable. Most post-apocalyptic stories focus on the unkindness of nature and humans, brought about by desperation and the primal urge to survive; in contrast, I try to write about the positive side of mankind.

In the real world, we see thieves and other opportunistic people who take advantage of calamities- they rob homes and mug people to save themselves; but then there are selfless people who rush into buildings to save trapped humans and animals, kind men and women who give food, water, clothing and shelter to complete strangers. At some point, "The World" will ask what makes us human: is it the colour of our blood? Our appearance? Our emotions? The way that we interact with those around us?

I've written "The World" some time ago but I am working on it again. I hope you like it \(*u*)/

As for the repeated lines. I have edited it out. Regarding the italicized dialogue, I was used to writing it that way because on some sites the character spacing is too narrow, therefore dialogue is difficult to differentiate from narration. I've edited out that format and will be sticking to quotation marks.

Thank you for taking the time to read my work, and especially for actually commenting and stating something constructive.
