Sparkatale

Thanks, Izzy! I hope Sparkatale continues to be diverting for you. Population and participation (especially in forums) is so sparse I very nearly left, as clearly many others have done and become inactive. As pretty as the Sparkatale interface design is, it's of no use without user participation! But in the last couple of days I've had comments, so it's motivated me to stick around. I hope it does for you, too!

Thanks Izzy — you're still ahead of me, though! I have so many unSTARTED stories due to writer's block! Frequently I'll crave the feeling of feeling my laptop keys tapping away at rapid speed under my fingertips...except I'll have no idea of what order to tap them in!

Thank you for your encouragements! Unfortunately, Writer's Block is the most tenacious of my exes—it's an ongoing difficulty to shake him off.

I really like that you use em-dashes to show the interruptions of his mental narration. It makes for great pacing. That, and I have a thing for em-dashes—my typographical crush... Them, and ellipses.
