So, I'm sort of an amateur science-fiction writer I guess you could say. I've been working on this one writing project for over ten years now, and this project has only gotten larger in scope as time has gone on. Four books and several smaller experimental stories in the making, my evolving experience with creating fiction is continuously expanding.

My works tend to get pretty abstract with metaphysical concepts like how the universe works, or how multiple alternate / parallel universes work. There are inspirations from a lot of more conventional action genres of fiction that make it a wild ride to read and write.

Comments, questions, and feedback are always greatly appreciated!

Hi my name is Fatum03. I'm not the best writer but I'm not the worst either so I can't say that everyone will like my story, but please do comment because it will really help me with my writing. Some of my stories might sound familiar if you ever watch anime since I just take some of the information from things I watch and use them for my stories. The things I watch or read are my inspiration and sometimes the things I see help me with my stories as well. The books on my favorite sections are books I read when I'm in class and it's time for sustained silent reading. Plus some of the names in the stories would be the same since I'm bad at remembering names sooooo yea....And it might take a while for me to actually write chapters because I'm super lazy, I just think about it and don't write it.

Favorite things:

T.V. shows (Z Nation!!! >-<), Dumplings, Pure chocolate, friends, biko (Filipino food). Staying at home watching movies, Badminton, swimming, fantasy books/stories.

Please support my stories and I hope you like them and if you don't please tell me what I need to work on in order to make it a much better story. THANKS!!!

My story information is using some of the details from a different anime, books, or movies, but this is not a fan fiction I’m just using some of their information. If you think it’s from a different anime I don’t own any of them but the characters are all mine and so is the story plot. The details from a different anime or manga are not mine. I don’t own the cover image as well. Thank you!

My nickname is Kelly. I love to read, write and tell my stories in the darkest and deadly way possible without actually causing harm of course. I'm a chocolate and coffee fanatic and grammar and spelling critic. I love the sound of heavy metal or hard rock bouncing between my ears. I hate techno music because it gives me a headache but loves a little pop here and there. My favourite place to be is home where I can write a story world all of my own and share it with my soon to be fans. I have studied at Charles Darwin University to write both academically and creatively. Even though I majored in biomedical science. Studying both psychology and writing is a concoction for sweet horror. I love the fact that I can write so freely but hate the fact that it takes forever. I hate liquorice, mint and chocolate (mixed) merely because they make my stomach turn. I question who puts mint and chocolate together and curse them for it and resent those who enjoy it. If you're anything like me, we're sure to get along!

P.S. Supernatural action is my favourite thing to write about.

Hey there! I'm Kira, there's not much to say about me other than I love anime and write poems more than books, but I still write Fan-fics even though my writing skills are terrible. :3 But hey, I get points for trying right?! I never know what genre to put on my poems though xD, there's no 'Slightly morbid but not gory' category. Anywhoo, about me I guess I write, I draw, I sing, I'm lazy, so the usual.

I hope you like my stuff and thanks for checking my profile out!

I'm a developer with a passion for writing stories.

I prefer writing novels, but I also do short stories. I have a dream of turning my novels into games, oh by the way I already wrote many stories using pen and paper.

Creating stories online is still new to me but I think this is challenging, tests my appeal to readers *chuckles*

Long time planner first time writer. Inspirations behind my writing style would be H. P. Lovecraft, Poe and Algernon Blackwood. I've always had that one story in my head that I wanted to write and as soon as I sit down to do so The Lady of the Green Forest is what came out. I take any and all critique, if you don't like my writing thats perfectly fine, let me know what it is you didn't like at least so I can take note and work on it. I think I was the first actual user to publish a chapter on this site and I can't wait to meet the community as it grows.

If you want comments, you should enable the copy feature.  This permits the reviewer to offer examples from the text of the problem she is discussing.

========

I live in California and I tend to use American grammatical conventions; yes, some British style/vocabulary creeps in but often I'm not consciously inserting them.

I cannot enjoy poorly written, ungrammatical text.  I tend to give a story a chance, and if I wince too often, I stop reading it.

So since I can make no sense of the rating and reviewing systems, I just review on a chapter by chapter basis.  No stars, just comments.

"...read some published novels, and try telling me you don't see them use some of the same comma placement and capitalization..."  -- I do see that, but I don't accept them, nor am I likely to imitate such practices.  Publishing firms don't have grammar books:  they have style books.  The purpose of a style book is conformity, not correctness.   The Chicago Manual of Style is a good example.  Grammar books offer advice on --yes-- grammar..  Failing your own copy of Eats Shoots and Leaves or The Transitive Vampire or Woe is I  there are some on-line sites.  The Purdue OWL is one.  For specific topics check out:  http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?133858-Dialog-Punctuation-and-Capitalization  under Syntax and Grammar; Brians Errors is an amusing site.    And of course, there is the lemming comment:  Just because X does Y doesn't mean you should.
