Album

A cascade of tiny drops fall from the sky

Alone, weak, but together strong

Falling, falling…

Like meteors

Only to crash to the ground and expire

Their many broken bodies joining

To form their own memorial

That is later broken

By giants in shiny gold

Some fall against invisible walls

Sailing slowly down these transparent seas

Some engulfing others

Some pushing away from the crowd

Catching the eyes of those on the other side

Who watch as they fall away

But never give assistance

Uncaring in their ways

But remaining a charming mystery

They earn admiration

Of those who watch them earnestly

Amazed by the courage

Of such tiny, innocent things

That sail out of the sky

And hit the earth

But always in gloominess do they land
