My life was all the grand.

I had both my grandparents

and a sister who was perfect

After a while, I began to think that they were true.

She pretended to be my friend

while bullying me into things with her harsh words

She took my only friend away

That there were people who cared for me

That while words can hurt

They can also heal what can't be healed with medicine

who showed me that I wasn't alone

That there were others like me

That I wasn't the only one who felt alone

I have many friends

who taught me many things

how to smile again

How words can heal

How I wasn't alone

But most of all

They taught me how to be happy again

How I was never alone and I'd never be alone

And why I should never think about taking my own life

is the solution when all my friends and family would be sad.

Who I may not have been related by blood
