Album

In the grey meadow

A little dream waits

And we leave our hearts

Beating in the violet snow

Our minds are numb now

But that is okay

We will give them to the man

With the grey skin

Whose hands did touch

Our little blue cheeks

And his endless eyes looked

Into our own,

Our graveyard eyes

Did you see the birds fly?

Under our feet, they

Watched us pass over

Into the frozen ground.

Look at our hearts,

They look so old

But that's okay,

We're still young

We left our hearts to the grey man

He knows what is best

Lose yourself to him

We don't need to worry anymore

Back home is hard

I'm tired, I'm sick, I'm worthless

But everything is good

In the grey meadow.

Our little dream waits.

My little dream waits.

Will you wait with me?

We will leave our last thoughts

To the grey man

Because he knows best

He said that the meadow is near,

"Follow the birds", he said

So let's follow the red sky

Winding through our feet

The grey meadow is near

Only an eternity to go!

I promise

All our troubles will be gone

When we get there

Let's sleep

Maybe for a year, or two

A hundred, a thousand, you can choose

For I'm too tired to think anymore.

Look ahead, there it is!

Are coming with me?

It is a one way path, once we are there

There will be no going back.

Can you hear mother weeping?

She's crying for the child she lost

To the grey man

"But that's okay, Mommy,

I'm okay now.

I'll be protected by the grey meadow

I can't wait to see you here too."
