Within the time
It takes to read just one short
Line
Within this creation
Perhaps you can take the time instead
To not decipher me
But think instead of what you have
And never
Never
Let it
Go...

Thinking can sometimes be the harshest
Reality
Forcing you to realize
What is
And what cannot be...

It's not life that makes us feel—
Pain
Love
Sadness
Joy
Anger
Fear—
It's the heart of the mind.

Moving with one simple spark
Within a long and winding track invisible
Intangible
But it lives...
It breathes...
It exists...
Forever we are trapped
Alongside it
Willing or unwilling volunteers
Of its constant war
Its constant play...

So instead of trying to
Pick out the details within
An array of words that sits before your eyes
Go behind them
Look into the heart of your mind
Think of what you have.

And whatever you do
Never...
Just never...

Never let it go.
