Question about posting stories
Hello, I recently joined this site(within the past week or so) and I noticed that when you log in to your account, at least with me where it says create a book that no copy written material is allowed on the site. I mention this because I am thinking about writing some Scooby Doo fan fiction and other fan fiction to post on the site, but then it says no copywritten material is allowed. That said, I was curious if it was ok for me to write and post fan fiction on the site, or would I be in trouble if I did? I really don't want to have to deal with any letters or cease and desist orders or anything like that as I really can't afford anything like that happening. So I was curious if anyone could answer whether or not I would be ok with writing fan fiction here.

Hello. Fanfiction is certainly allowed here. When you create a story you choose which genre is displayed, and fanfiction is one of the options. If you browse and search by genre you can see how many have already been written. I hope this helped!

It certainly did; I just wasn't sure when I saw the no copywritten content is allowed statement where the create a book thing is.
