A lot of writing sites have award systems and why shouldn't we? It's oscar season so it would be fun to have a little Academy Awards of our own. Anyone else supportive of the idea? In case your wondering how exactly it would work, this is how I think it could work. We don't have a guild of users to nominate books\characters, so we could create a poll and users submit their choice for each category. After a week or so we would pull the top 6 and add them to a new poll where users could vote for the one they wanted, and in a week or so we'd announce the winners. I noticed badges were added, so maybe get a cool little badge on the profile or something? Now, for how I think we could make the categories- Best Picture into Best Story Actor in a Leading Role to Main Male Character Actress in a Leading Role to Main Female Character Actor in a Supporting Role to Supporting Male Character Actress in a Supporting Role to Supporting Female Character Cinematography into Best Descriptive Writing Directing into Best Story Execution Writing- Adapted Screenplay into Best Fanfiction Writing- Original Screenplay into Best Storyline We could have subcategories for different genres, antagonists\protagonists, heroines & heroes, feel free to suggest anything! Anybody like the idea though? I think an awards system would go nicely here.

This sounds fun, are we aloud more than one nomination and are there any requirements as far as complete and incomplete stories? If stories are incomplete should there be a curtain number of chapters or over all total of words?

There are only two rules which have been explained in the other thread with the link to the nomination forum. Yes, you may only fill out the form once and can only nominate one story/author/character per form. There is no rule for nominating incomplete stories. Looking at the current nominations 95% of them are still in progress.
