Anonymous - Usernames?
Hello guys! I'm known as Su'Anezrow on Fictionpress, and I kind of wanted to remain that way officially... I feel like I might get in trouble for circumventing like I have here. Is it possible to maybe add two different options? Have both: one being the real name (with an option to hide it,) and then the username box? I'd love this! (I don't like putting my real name online.)

Hi Su'Anezrow Thank you for the suggestion. What you are doing now by entering your alias as your first/last name works. If you do not feel like using your real name, certainly do not feel pressured to :) We may look into having a 'pen name' and 'real name' in user profiles in the future but at this time there doesn't seem to be a need for it. If someone wants to use a pen name they are welcome to use a pen name when filling out the first/last name. And if they are using a pen name, they will likely not want to display their real name anyways :) I understand what you mean by not wanting to put your real name online!

you might want to clarify that it's ok where it's done then. it didn't really occur to me since I'm familiar with the ways of the internet, but some new to the net might not understand that it's ok.
