The Birth

“What's wrong with him!?” A female's voice echoed though out the halls of the hospital. A cry of pain and worry. A man's voice followed, hushing the female before she let out another loud cry of pain. Another female voice could be heard shortly after the cry of pain, hushing her softly

“Just relax...the baby will be fine...you just need to push and get him out” The female exclaimed. More screams followed shortly after as the young female pushed, and pushed, desperate to get her trapped unborn son out of her. The midwife nodded to signal to the mother that her unborn son was now free, but more problems followed, the mother was now bleeding heavily.

Finally, with a final push, the baby slid out of his mother and began to cry, this caused the mother to smile weakly, she was exhausted, but the father just stared down at the child that was lifted into the mothers arms. She smiled down at her beautiful baby boy, cradling him softly. The little baby didn't take too long to stop crying, feeling his mothers heat and hearing her heart beat calmed him. He opened his mouth and connected to her areola and began to suck it softly in need of milk from his mother.

The mother did everything she could to fend for her baby boy, Jack; even after she had fallen pregnant once again. She was glad that her first born child had grown up to follow her lifestyle more than his father and was worried she wouldn't be as lucky with her second child. However; the birth of her new baby boy happened without any problems, which caused the oldest to be neglected by his father even more than he already was.

16 years didn't take too long to pass, Jack and his little brother Alex where close, but the neglect Jack received from his father failed to disappear. It soon became close to Jack's 16th birthday, 14th of April. The forest Jack strolled down was dark, quiet and peaceful, a perfect walk for what seemed like the perfect couple. Jack held the hand of a beautiful blonde haired female as he walked. They walked in silence, but smiles on their faces, just enjoying each others company. It wasn't long before their silence was cut off however. A large growl emitting from deep within the forest. They stopped. Dead.

“Jack...did you just hear that...?” The blonde female spoke, shivering softly, looking around at her surroundings, trying to figure out where the growl had came from. Jack took hold of her shoulders before kissing her softly, attempting to calm her down. “Relax Emma...I'm sure it was nothing, just head home and I'll be right behind you.” Jack smiled as he spoke, reassuring her as much as he could. Emma nodded, kissing him again before she followed the path back, looking back as she had her worries about leaving Jack behind.

Jack watched Emma go before he followed the path further into the forest to investigate, reports of a strange growl had been heard around the forest, because of this, the forest became a place not many people dared to enter. Jack looked around at his surroundings as he continued to walk deeper in, making sure he looked behind anything he passed. Jack stopped in his tracks as he spotted a cave hidden among grass and trees. He slowly headed over to the cave, taking a peek inside of it before spotting a shadow that looked like a slow moving lump. Jack stepped in slowly and followed the silhouette till he came face to face with a red coloured wolf; it's piercing yellow eyes staring at him.

Seconds ticked by, nether had moved, Jack was in shock and was too scared to move. His eyes where wide, he didn't want to blink or move an inch, he wanted to watch it. The wolf stepped forwards, in return, Jack stepped back, wanting to keep distance between him and the strange wolf in front of him. Jack took a deep breath before he decided he'd make a run for it. Stepping back again, slowly, Jack took a second before turning and making a dash for it.

“Wait!” An unfamiliar female voice rang through Jack's ears, causing him to stop dead in his tracks and turn. SLASH! The sound echoed through out the cave before it was replaced by a thud. Blood painted the walls, ceiling and floor. The wolf licked the male's face before whimpering and diving out the cave. The last thing he saw was what seemed like the wolf turning into a shadowed figure as it left the cave before everything around the male went black.

2: The Night That Ruined It
The Night That Ruined It

Fluttering his chocolate brown eyes open, the young boy shivered, coughing before he sat up. Jack looked around the place, shivering as he found himself back in his bedroom. Hearing his bedroom door open, the male looked towards it, smiling slightly as he saw the beautiful blonde enter the room, hand in hand with a young blonde male.

“How are you feeling now, big brother?” The young boy asked, smiling as he was glad to see that his brother was now awake. Emma smiled as she let go of the young boys hand, allowing him to run towards the brown haired male, hugging him tight. Jack smiled softly as he held his little brother close, unsure why he was so worried, seeing how Jack couldn't remember what had happened the previous night.

“I'm fine, heads a little sore though” Jack chuckled softly as he looked at Emma, smiling towards her, glad to see that she was al right. Jack stood himself up, stretching before turning to make his bed, but he flinched as he caught his reflection in the mirror. A large bunch of bandages where wrapped around his chest, seeing that caused the memory to flood back to him.

Shivering, the male rubbed his head, remembering that he didn't see a wolf exit the cave, but a young women. Letting a small sigh past his lips, he turned around to face Emma and his younger brother, smiling at them “I didn't worry you too much did I?” He asked, letting out a small chuckle. Emma smiled as she just kissed his forehead in response. Jack gently patted his younger brothers head, kneeling down to his hight. “Now, you better go tell mum and dad I'm up, don't want them cancelling the big festival now do we Jamie?” He laughed as he watched the younger one nod with a big grin on his face, running out of the bedroom.

Smiling, the male turned to the beautiful female in front of him “Well, today’s the day! I officially turn eighteen in my village!” Jack grinned brightly as Emma giggled to herself, watching him. She extended her hand and took hold of his, causing him to look towards her. It took only moments before their soft lips touched each others. They broke apart and smiled towards each other, Emma held his hand, a small blush along her pale cheeks. “I'm more excited about the fact we got together four years ago today as well...” She spoked, smiling as she began to play with a necklace around her neck.

Jack smiled, stroking her cheek softly, before his hand also travelled to the necklace. They stayed in silence for what felt like forever, just holding the necklace together. Emma finally broke the silence “I'll love you, no matter what happens, you know that right?” She spoke softly, smiling. Jack gave a nod, smiling as he looked at her “I love you too...Your not after food are you?” He gave off a chuckle. Emma blushed as she bit her lip “...I-I am hungry now that you mention it...”.

Jack smiled, nodding his head, tilting it slightly, allowing her to grow fangs within her mouth and sink them into his neck, sucking softly. He shivered before she broke away after a few seconds, smiling as she whipped her mouth “You can do that to me tomorrow” both laughed at her comment.

Hours passed as the two of them just spend time together, though they where interrupted by a knock at the door. A tall blonde female walked in, smiling as she held the door open “I'm sorry Emma, Jack has to get ready now...he'll see you tonight.” Emma nodded as she stood, bowing before leaving the room. Jack gave a smile as he stood, bowing slightly. The female smiled, stroking his face gently “My little boy is growing up...”.

Jack smiled before he headed over to his wardrobe, taking out a large cloak, smiling as he laid it out on his bed, looking at it “Is this really the one dad wore when he turned eighteen?”She simply smiled, nodding her head “Yeah...it was when we first met too...I stupidly fell over as he was walking up the stairs” with that, they both burst into laughter.

Jack smiled as he grabbed the cloak and placed it around himself, following his mother out of the room and then shortly out of the house.

The village was lit with the pretty lights all around the houses in the dark night, many stalls where up, selling different types of food, from home made blood chocolate to freshly cooked meat. Some stalls held games with teddy’s as the object to win. Naturally. The atmosphere was incredible, the children where laughing and playing, the adults having the time of their lives. Jack looked around, smiling as he loved it when someone from a high family turned a important number in their life, something like this always happened.

Jack stopped at a stall and got himself some blood chocolate before his attention was drawn to something. He spotted a girl, she looked around before she disappeared into the forest, Jack narrowed his eyes a little, wondering who she was, he most certainly didn't recognise her. Jack shook it off before he ate his snake and headed off towards his destination, he was the main attraction tonight, though, little did he know the sinister plot behind his special night.

Jack smiled as he finally reached his destination, the large stage, with his chair in the middle, where he's to finally able to become like the rest of his clan of his age, vampire. It took seconds before a large horn bellowed, everyone in the village began to gather around. Jack smiled as he went up the steps and sat himself down on his chair.

His father approached the stage, smiling as he was the one to call, being the leader of the clan and all “We're only minutes away from midnight, when that clock chimes, this boy, is to become one of us!” The crowd cheered, all however aware of this night. The clock chimed, as it did, the male walked over to the chair, pressing a button, causing restrains to appear and restrain Jack to his chair, causing him to jolt “H-hey! W-what is going on!?” His father simply laughed in response first.

“Well...from the moment you where born, we knew you where special...you Jack...have the blood to make a vampire truly immortal...helping them survive a stake to the heart” He laughed and Jack instantly became scared. He began to squirm, only to be greeted with a pain soaring through his body. Jack yelped in pain as he felt it growing stronger with every passing moment.

“Why are you moaning for! We haven't killed you yet! Let alone sticking the needles into you!” His father hissed, raising his fist up, bringing it towards Jack's face. Jack though, grabbed his hand, he broke through the restrains at the very last second, but his father didn't have time to work it out as he was thrown back. The crowd cried out in horror as something was being created, right in front of them. Many fled right there and then. Jack howled in pain as his skin tore, fur forming out of the tears, his body increasing in size, his jaw becoming that like a wolfs.

It took minutes for the transformation to finish, a large brown werewolf was now on the stage, his black and red eyes now staring at everyone. Everyone ran in horror. Everyone but the strange women from before, although she was hidden in the tree's, she could see everything. A small sad smile crossed her pale face. “I'm sorry for this Jack...but I can't have them win...I’ll be waiting for you...” Her voice was soft and calm, she just sat there, still. Waiting.

3: Nothing But Pain
Nothing But Pain

The sun rose. The horror from the night before finally ended a few hours before the sun rose into the sky. Jack was located near the forest entrance, collapsed. His clothes where ripped, barely covering him from his transformation the previous night. Blood was all over him and around him where a few body limbs. Clearly, he had gone on a massacre. He groaned softly as his eyes slowly opened, his chocolate brown eyes took a few moments to adjust to the area around him, he took a few moments before pushing himself up, groaning in pain as he did so.

He groaned once again as he finally stood himself up. He gave a sigh before he looked around once again before his chocolate brown eyes found the gate that leads into his village. He shivered softly as he began to grow cold, feeling something fall onto his nose. He looked up towards the sky, his lips curled into a light smile as it began to snow, it rarely snowed in their village, he thought this was a good sign, that everything was going to be okay from now on.

He shuffled his feet a little bit as he headed into his village, looking around in horror as he saw the large claw marks in the ground, buildings and tree's he walked past. He gulped a little before he looked around, the familiar blonde female catching his eye instantly. He smiled before he ran over to her, glad to see she was okay.

“Emma! Your okay...” Jack spoke softly but flinched as she looked at him and recoiled. Fast. “Get away from me you monster!” With that, she slapped him, shivering, there was large amounts of fear in her eyes, and Jack could see it. He reached out in attempts to calm her “Emma, calm down...i won't hurt you...” He spoke softly again, but as soon as his skin touched hers, she jolted backwards, bringing another slap against his face. “STAY AWAY FROM ME!” Emma shouted, loudly before she finally turned around and ran away from him.

Jack shivered as he tried hard not to cry, he couldn't believe what just happened, he was still struggling with the events of the previous night. Suddenly, he wasn't looking forward to returning home as much as he was. He headed towards his home, noticing the large amounts of people avoiding him. He gulped as he reached his home, slowly opening the door and heading in, slowly.

He walked in, slowly and headed into the living room. He flinched as his father was sat on a chair, clearly waiting for him to return. “I've been awaiting your return Jack. Last night was fun.” He spoke with a hint of spite in his voice, standing up from the chair. Jack gulped as he watched his father close, despite knowing his father was going to kill him, he wasn't afraid of him. “I don't know what happened last night...everything went black and next thing I know...I was...different” Jack spoke, shivering, looking down.

“Werewolf.” His father spoke, hissing at the word before he took out a crow bar from a nearby draw. Jack flinched away, the colour draining from his face as he suddenly became terrified. His father moved towards him, raising the crow bar and slammed it into his arm, causing Jack to screamed, grabbing his arm tightly. “Father!? What are you doing!?” Jack exclaimed loudly, shivering as he stepped back away from his father, who simply laughed at him. “Getting rid of such a disgrace.” He aimed the crow bar again, but Jack ran. He ran out the house, ran away through the village, his father following.

Jack tripped over a rock hidden in the now rather deep snow, causing him to crash to the ground. He pushed himself up with his arms, but the metal crow bar was slammed into his back. He screamed as he collapsed down onto the ground again. He panted a few times before rolling himself onto his back, looking up at his father. His father laughed as he rose the crow bar, bringing it down onto his shoulder, arm, stomach, hip, legs and chest. Jack screamed in agony every time the crow bar made contact.

After what felt like forever, Jack's father finally stopped beating him with the bar, staring down at the large bloodied body laying before him. Jack was breathing, barely, the snow had grown deeper within the time, Jack's body barely noticeable, almost buried beneath a pile of snow. Jack weakly looked at his father, struggling to breath, trying hard to stay conscious. “I'll leave you to die here. Whether you bleed out, suffocate or freeze. I don't care. As long as you die. I'll be back to claim your body in an hour. Goodbye son.” He laughed, leaving the barely alive Jack, alone.

Jack's eyes became heavy, they closed, then opened, they closed once again, but this time when he opened them, a female stood above him. She looked down at him, kneeling down. Jack's eyes didn't get the chance to see her face as his eyes closed once again as she knelt down, this time, they didn't open again. His world went black. A small tear escaping as he drifted away from the world.

“It's been at least three days...I'm worried he won't wake up Tero...” A female voice spoke

“Relax Amaya. He will wake up, his father beat him quite heavily, just give him more time.” A male voice responded

Jacks eyes fluttered open weakly, but closed once again, the only thing he saw in the time, where two figures sitting beside him.

“It looks like he's waking up now” The male voice spoke again

“Oh thank god!” The female exclaimed

His eyes opened once again, looking towards the figures, it took them a while, but their faces came into focus after a short while. The women was pale, bright green eyes, ginger hair that had half her hair in a pony tail. The male was just as pale, but he held red eyes and had short black spiky hair. Jack coughed a little. “W-who are you people...?”

The male gave a small chuckle in response “Well, for a start, my names Tero. I'm the son of the leader of this pack. This is Amaya, my younger sister.” Amaya smiled, waving. “You actually meet me before...but you might not of known it was me” She spoke softly, rubbing the back of her head.

Jack blinked at her a few times, this was a lot of information to take in. Pack? He wasn't sure what was going on at this moment. “Pack?” He spoke gently. Tero chuckled as he nodded his head “Yeah, as in, werewolf pack. You belong here now. And for that, you can thank my sister” Jack looked at him, confused still. But then it all came back to him. The wolf, the girl he saw leave that cave, the girl voice. It was her. She was the one that hurt him, she was the one that caused his life to come to crashing down on him.

“Y-your the wolf...that caused my life to crumble...?” He spoke, looking towards Amaya. She flinched away, shivering, she wasn't expecting some form of reply like that. Amaya looked down as she took a deep breath “I couldn't let them kill you...if they got your blood...that would mean the end for the werewolves...the vampires would never end...we'd never win the war that is going on between us...” She spoke calmly, Jack nodded in response, he couldn't do much else at the moment, this was all too much.

“...So...I belong here now...? W-won't they come back for me...?” Jack spoke gently, shivering.

“We'll keep you hidden, you also have a new name, a werewolf name that you will be known as from now on...Jack is never to be your name ever again” Amaya spoke gently, looking at Tero.

“Your new name, is Slash.”

4: Meet The Parents
Meet The Parents

A week had past, Slash had to spend the whole time recovering from his injuries in the hospital. Amaya had told him he wasn't going to alone, he had been offered to become a foster child to a pair that weren’t able to have children. Amaya soon arrived at the hospital, smiling as she awaited at the door for Slash to head over to her. Slash gave a weak smile as he followed Amaya through the small village he was to now call home. Slash took a deep breath before stepping into his new home, being greeted by a lovely looking couple.

“You must be Slash. We're thankful your going to at least give us a chance!” The women smiled as she shook his hand, she was practically beaming, but was keeping her excitement under control, not wanting to scare him away. He did look fragile. Slash looked towards the male, he took a step back, shivering, he hated to admit it, but he was scared, after all, the last father he had beat him to an inch of his life.

The male leant down slightly, smiling as he slowly offered a hand “We've been told your situation, take all the time you need to be comfortable around me, okay?” The male spoke softly. Slash hesitated before taking the hand, shaking it softly, giving off a smile, he was glad they where so nice, he could see them becoming close.

Amaya smiled as she hugged Slash, kissing his cheek before handing him a note as she left. Slash looked at the note in his hand, reading it silently before placing it down into his pocket. He turned to his new foster parents, his new mother gesturing him into the kitchen, a nice lunch awaiting for him. His face lit up as he began to dig in, having only eaten little bits through out his stay at the hospital.

“I'm Michelle...and he's Claw. He's a werewolf, I’m not.” The mother spoke calmly, smiling as she wanted him to call the two something, even if it wasn't Mum or Dad. Slash looked up, blinking a few times while he tilted his head “Why are you here if you aren't a werewolf...?”

“This village is for the werewolf’s, and I accept my husband as a werewolf, therefore, I’m allowed to live here...the werewolf’s all head out on the day of the full moon somewhere deep in the forest, to make sure they don't harm any of the humans here or any of the humans in the outside villages and cities.” She explained.

Slash nodded as he listened closely to what she was saying, he hadn't been told much, so he had to get as much information as possible, he wasn't even sure what a werewolf does when they change, he always assumed they where myths until that fateful night, and even then, he can't remember what he did once he had turned. Slash ate another mouthful of his lunch, drifting off into his own little world for a few moments before snapping out of it, looking at her

“Why did I need a new name?” Slash asked with a little confusion in his voice, he wasn't told why he was given a new name.

“If your family where to come hunting for you, they'd ask around for a Jack. Giving you a werewolf name protects your identity from the outside world, from anyone that might be out to harm you. Every werewolf has a new name, accept the ones that where born a werewolf, they never had a first name.” She sighed softly as she sat down in front of him, looking at him. “Amaya and Tero, they where born werewolf's and therefore never had a first name. The two are born from the leader of this pack, and are being trained in protecting this pack when their mother and father pass away. Whether by a hunter, vampire or just of old age.”

“Hunters?” Slash tilted his head again, he wasn't even aware of that kind of danger, he didn't even know people would hunt a myth.

“There are people out there that believe you exists, and therefore hunt to find one. Some have been caught and never to be seen again, some have been found killed, some have been forced to fight one and another till death...some have even been taken for experiments...this world is a cruel place.” She spoke with sorrow in her voice, she always feared that her husband would never return one day.

Slash shivered as he looked down slightly, he was scared that maybe he would be an unlucky one, he seems to be getting a lot of bad luck recently. It was then his head shot up as he opened his mouth “Wait! Why hasn't Claw turned you?”

She looked at him before laughing softly “You don't have to turn someone. Some choose not to turn their loved one. Sometimes they want to spare them the pain, or sometimes the loved one doesn't want to be turned themselves.” She spoke with a small giggle, she found it amusing he would ask such a question, in fact, given his current situation, she didn't think it would even cross his mind until later.

Slash smiled, nodding his head. He smiled softly as he looked around the kitchen, it looked like a normal modern house, you couldn't tell it belonged to a werewolf. Slash stood from his stall, placing his empty plate by the sink, looking towards Michelle “Where's my bedroom? I'd like to take a nap if that's okay?” Michelle smiled as she stood, taking his hand as she lead him up the stairs and into a nearby room. Slash looked around it, it wasn't anything special as they didn't know what kind of person he was, it was a plain white room, with a wardrobe, draws and a bed in the middle.

“Sorry it isn't much...but we plan on taking you shopping so you can paint it and decorate it to however you want...this is your paradise now” She smiled, kissing his forehead before she left the room.

Slash climbed into his bed, shivering as he cuddled himself under the covers, he was finally alone, finally able to let go of all the sadness he had harboured from the beating he received from his father. He cuddled himself tightly, beginning to cry, his life had just been shattered, shattered by one girl. One he wasn't able to hate. He cried, it was like the tears where never ending, he cried for what felt like an eternity until he finally found himself drifting off into a sleep.

5: The First Kill
The First Kill

The bell chimed loudly through out the village, Slash flinched at the sound before standing, taking a deep breath. He kissed his new mother goodbye before leaving the house with his new father. Slash's hands shook as he headed towards the gate, he was terrified of what was going to happen after last time, he didn't remember a thing and wondered if this was going to be the same.

“SLASH!” The familiar voice shouted towards him. He instantly noticed the ginger haired female running towards him, still with a smile on her face.

“Hey Amaya...” Slash spoke, however it was slightly husked, he was so scared, his voice had started to dry up. Amaya giggled, placing her hands on her hips, shaking her head.

“Slash, relax, the reason we gather around here and head into the forest is to make sure no one is harmed through out the night” Amaya spoke gently, taking his hand softly, kissing it, causing him to smile softly towards her.

“Also, if it's mating season, theres a lot of mating.” A male voice spoke behind the pair, both turned around to the voice. Amaya frowned, hitting the black haired male of the head.

“Tero! Don't be mean!” Amaya growled at him, though it was clear it was playful.

“When is mating season?” Slash spoke softly, confused as this was never mentioned to him, he didn't even think that they where that animal like.

“Ohh, not for another two months I think, it's amazing in werewolf form, it's so...beastly like!” Amaya giggled, clapping her hands as she jumped on the spot.

Slash smiled before his attention was drawn to the line that was now moving out into the forest. Amaya smiled, patting his shoulder before she ran into a different line with Tero.

Slash began to worry more and more the closer he got to the opening.

“Go left, there's a cave in that area if you wish to change in there” The guard spoke, pointing to his left. Slash nodded as he headed off to his left, shivering as he was terrified of what was going to happen from here on out.

The full moon rose to the highest point of the sky. Instantly, Slash cried out in agony as soon as he reached the cave. He crumbled to the floor, shaking violently as he screamed out, his skin feeling like it was tearing, burning from the inside out.

His skin made tearing sounds as the fur burst out from under his skin, his hands cracking as they extended into paws and claws. His face grew, his screams of agony becoming howls. It took a matter of minutes before the transformation was completely, but it always felt like a lifetime.

His eyes glowed red. They lit up the area around him. He headed out the cave, sniffing the air as he headed through the forest in hunt for some food. He wondered around for a short while before something caught his attention, he smelt humans near by. Tasty humans.

He headed towards the smell, he licked his lips as he couldn't wait to have his first feed. He poked his head through a bush and noticed a small camp-site on the other side. A family where sat by a camp-fire, laughing like nothing was wrong.

Slash removed his head from the bush before beginning to stalk around the area, his ears rose as he heard a voice and footsteps heading his way. He hid in a bush as the mother and her daughter headed into a nearby bush. He stalked after them and waited outside the bush, ready to pounce.

“I'll just wait out here for you sweetheart” The mother spoke as she left the bush and halted in her steps as she saw him. He growled at her, she froze in fear, she couldn't speak or move, but she knew she had to get him away from her daughter before she came out the bush.

The mother took a deep breath before making a run for it, only to be shoved to the ground in mere seconds. She let out a scream of horror as she tried to squirm out of his paws, if she could just hold on for a few more seconds, her husband would come and rescue her was all that ran through her mind.

Crunch. The only sound filled the air. Her body become limp. Slash licked the blood from his lips before beginning to feast on her neck before eating as much of the skin and blood as he could. He devoured almost all of her body before something caught his attention again.

“M-mummy...?” The little girl spoke, staring in horror at the feasting wolf that was on top of her mother. She couldn't of been much older than 7. Slash turned to face her, licking the blood around his lips, sniffing the air.

The girl stared at him, shaking violently.

“M-mummy! W-wake up!” She began to cry as her mother didn't respond, she took a step forward, but Slash didn't react, he stayed where he was, watching her as she took a step after step after step towards her mothers corpse.

She knelt down beside her mother, who's back, neck and stomach where nothing but bloodied bones. She reached out a shook her mothers head softly, shivering, crying violently.

“Mummy! Wake up! I'm scared!” She cried, shaking her mother more and more, looking at Slash every now and then to make sure he hadn't made himself closer to the pair.

“MUMMY! DON'T LEAVE ME!” She screamed at her mother, shaking her as violently as she could.

Slash watched them before he heard a voice, growling he dived at the child, who screamed as loudly as she could before he attached his jaw to her ankle and dragged her away from the camp-site.

“MUMMY! DADDY! HELP ME!” She screamed as loud as she could, but the further away she got, the more and more she cried.

Slash threw her to the floor of the cave, watching her shake and squirm away from him in utter fear. He growled, watching her, getting down into his pouncing stance.

“P-please mr wolf...j-just let me go home...I-i'll be a good girl if you bring mummy back...” She spoke in fear, she wasn't sure what was going to happen, but she didn't have much time to do anything before her world became black.

As the sun rose, Slash opened his eyes as the morning rays shone on them. He groaned as he sat up, shivering. He looked down at himself and noticed he was covered in blood. He looked around before his chocolate brown eyes opened in fear. He sat there, staring at beautiful blue eyes that stared back at him. Lifeless. The child had nothing much bones from her waist downwards. Her eyes where wide as she stared at him, her death so sudden to her, her eyes never closed in time.

Slash shook as he cuddled himself against the wall, staring at her, staring at her eyes, everything that had happened that night came flooding back to him, as they did, so did his tears, he couldn't believe it, not only did he kill her mother, he killed her. A little girl, he loved children, he wanted to have his own family someday, and here he was, sat there, staring at her lifeless eyes, knowing he was the murderer who took her from the world.

“I-i'm so sorry...” He managed to get out before he broke down into tears, hating himself more than he had ever hated anything in the world.

6: The Painful Nightmare
The Painful Nightmare

The sun shone brightly as the clouds drifted across the sky. It was quiet, the only sound was the wind's gentle breeze. The sound of leaves rustling soon echoed through the forest. Slash knelt down in front of a small grave he had made for the girl, kissing the stone he had made into a cross before standing and looking down at it. He gave off a sigh before beginning to walk away, dragging his feet behind him.

“Slash! There you are!” The familiar ginger dashed right for him only to stop dead in her tracks by an arm being held out in front of her. “Wait Amaya...He seems off” Her brother spoke, sniffing the air, being born a werewolf allows you to sniff out emotions, quite handy!

“D-do you think his night went bad? Maybe the vampires found him?” Amaya spoke with worry overwhelming her voice, she couldn't help but feel like this was her fault, she was the one who selfishly changed him. “No. It's not that kind of emotion...I smell...regret maybe? Sorrow? On top of that...I smell two humans on him...” Tero bit his lip, he was almost positive he knew what the problem was and if he was correct, he didn't want Amaya jumping all over him, that wouldn't help Slash get over it.

Slash finally took his eyes off the ground and looked up towards the two figures waiting for him by the gate. He took a deep breath before wiping his eyes wanting to get rid of the tears before he approached them so they wouldn't worry.

“Something happened. Don't bombard him, I can tell he doesn't want us to worry about him.” Tero spoke firmly before heading towards him to greet him.

“How was last night for you? You where expecting it this time, so was it as bad as last time?” Tero gently rose his hand and rested it on his shoulder, giving him a small reassuring smile, wanting him to believe that he couldn't tell something was wrong. Slash took a few moments before looking up at him, biting down hard on his lip, drawing blood.

“H-how do you deal with killing children...?” Slash spoke quietly, shivering, those memories flooding back to him from the previous night. He couldn't handle it very well, a little girl, seven years of age, and he murdered her violently!

“...It's hard, but you get over it eventually...honestly, It will get better. You just need to keep strong! I'll be by your side the whole time! In fact! I'll take you out hunting for another animal's to help control the urges you get” Tero gave a large grin, which drew the attention of Amaya. Amaya stormed over with a small frown

“HEY! I turned him! I should be the one training him!” She protested by hitting her brother hard in the shoulder. She crossed her arms in a small huff before turning her attention again to Slash. “I'll train you, it's my duty, I selfishly turned you...it's the least I could do...” Amaya looked down slightly, she didn't know what had happened, but she knew she had to do something

Slash gave off a chuckle, lifting her chin with his index finger, smiling at her, who blushed in response. “I'd rather be trained by you, I think I'd be to scared to go with the terror wolf of the village” Slash laughed, nudging Tero with his elbow gently. “True, I might kill you if I feel your getting better than me” Tero nudged him back with his elbow, laughing in response.

“Oh come on Tero! We both know he'll be better than you! It's not hard.” Amaya winked towards her twin before grinning which caused the other two to begin laughing. The mood had lifted, even though Slash felt it still on his mind, he knew he had friends to help him get over it or at least live with it.

“How about we go and get some breakfast?” Amaya suggested with a smile, trying to keep the mood lifted, rubbing her stomach which growled to prove her point. Tero and Slash both gave off a small chuckle as they heard the girls stomach growl.

“Someone's hungry” Slash spoke as he poked her stomach, smirking slightly towards her before it curved into a smile as she pouted at him.

Tero gave off a smile before beginning to walk away, the other two looked up before beginning to follow him. Tero looked over his shoulder towards Slash, giving off a small quiet sigh as he felt bad for him, there was nothing worse than having a child as one of your first kills, especially someone who loved children as much as Slash did.

Slash walked along side Amaya, keeping his head down, his mind still kept her face as clear as day, haunting him. He had never felt so guilty, his little brother wasn't that much older than the girl, and his mind was twisting the girls face to be his younger brothers, and it made him feel sick. What if next time it Is his little brother? He couldn't live with that, and it made something stir inside of him, something dark and sinister.

7: The Regretful Moment Of Weakness
The Regretful Moment Of Weakness

The sun slowly began to set. The day was full of excitement as the three explored the village and the forest to help the brunette get used to his new home. Slash fell down onto his bed with a sigh, finally relaxing after his eventful day.

They where trying far to hard, it was easy to tell why they spend all day with him, he wasn't an idiot, he knew what they where playing at all day. He didn't mind though, it felt nice to know he had friends here already, he was worried he was going to have issues fitting in, but that seemed like it wasn't the case.

A knock on the door caught his attention, he hesitated, wondering whether he should leave it in case the siblings decided a sleep over was a good idea for his current mood. He really didn't want to spend any more of today with them, he loved them already, but they where so overpowering it wore him completely out.

"Slash? You in there? Can we talk?" Slash groaned weakly, knowing that voice instantly, he had hoped he lost Tero and Amaya, unfortunately, he should of known better than to think Tero would give up that easily.

Slash sighed before finally rising from the bed and headed over to the door, opening it, giving a weak smile to Tero before returning to his bed, sitting himself back down on it, looking up at the male. "I thought I lost the both of you." He laughed softly, but slowly halted when he noticed the other wasn't laughing.

"What's with the serious face Tero?" Slash asked tilting his head a little as he hadn't seen the male look so serious in the time he had known him, and to tell the truth, it was a little scary.

"Slash...you don't need to hide it. I've seen it in your eyes all day." Tero spoke confidently before sitting himself down beside him. It was true, he had seen the pain in Slash's eyes all day, he had hoped to of at least got rid of a tiny bit of it.

"Why is it haunting you so much? I expected you to be horrified...just not this horrified" Tero explained carefully, he knew it was hard taking a first kill, especially the fact it was a kid, but he was taking it worse than anyone else he knew off.

"She was around the same age as my little brother...and I'm worried one day it'll be him staring at me in fear..." Slash sighed softly before finally looking up at the male who was say beside him. That was the thought that terrified him the most, the fact one day, he could very well murder his little brother so violently. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he did that.

"You'll learn to control it before anything else like this happens again, campers aren't usually that far in the forest anyway..." Tero gave off a sigh as it was true, it's rare to get campers so far into the forest, since sightings of 'beasts' has caused the surrounding villages to panic.

Slash sighed softly, nodding his head before dropping it back down, he was still terrified of not being able to control the beast inside of him. Slash let out a little sniffle, shivering as he brought his hand up to whip his eyes, he didn't want to cry, especially not in front of Tero, one of the most manly werewolves, but he couldn't help it.

Tero shivered as he spotted a few tears drop to the ground, he let out a little sigh before wrapping an arm around Slash to give him some form of comfort. Tero blushed weakly as he watched the brunette cuddled into him, trying to calm himself.

Slash took a few minutes before finally taking a deep breath and stopped the tears from running down his face any longer. He took a few more seconds before finally pulling away from Tero's cuddle, hiding his red face. He's never cried into someone before, this was a first time he had let anyone see such a weak side to him.

Tero watched the shivering male next to him, god he looked adorable, he could just pounce on him there and then. Tero flinched weakly before shaking his head violently. No. These thoughts are not happening! He bit his lip in a desperate attempt to keep himself calm, this wasn't going to happen again...it couldn't.

Slash finally lifted his head, looking up at the male in front of him. His eyes where glazed due to his tears, but they where a beautiful chocolate colour. He gave a small smile towards Tero, looking at him in the eyes, he did admire his eyes. They where pure red, like he was evil, but he was a very gentle male. He was meant to be the bad boy of the village, but Slash was yet to see that side of Tero.

Silence filled the room, the two just stared at each other, it felt oddly comforting as the two just sat there in silence, staring into each others eyes. Tero took a deep breath before his hand reached out and grabbed the back of Slash's neck, bringing him forwards so their lips finally clashed together.

Slash's eyes widened and a deep blush formed on his cheeks. What was happening right now? A kiss with another guy? This never crossed Slash's mind throughout his life, he never thought he would swing that way, he was always too interested in girls. Slash however; found himself kissing the black haired male back.

Tero shivered, pulling the male closer, raising a hand to gently start caressing his chest. His hand slipped up his top as he slid his tongue into the males mouth. Both where enjoying this moment, but both jolted backwards as a knock at the door knocked them out of their heated moment.

Both where panting and flushed, ignoring the door. Tero took a few moments before he stood and answered the door, only to be taken back by Amaya frowning at him.

"This is where you two where!? I've been looking every-...What's happened?" Her angry tone suddenly died as she noticed the panting in both males. She stepped in, biting her lip before looking at Tero, who simply looked away from her, almost as if he was ashamed of what he had just done.

"...I'll see you tomorrow" Tero spoke before darting out the room and out the house, he didn't even look back towards the door or look at Slash as he exited the house.

"...Do you want me to go?" Amaya spoke gently, gently stroking Slash's back as he recollected his thoughts as to what on earth just happened. Slash hesitated before looking up at her, he did seem a little happier, maybe it was the comfort? He wasn't sure why he felt a little better.

"Yeah...I'm tired so I'm going to get some sleep...but we can have lunch tomorrow?" Slash smiled towards the ginger, who practically squealed in happiness. She coughed slightly to calm herself down before she gently planted a kiss on his forehead, leaving the bedroom, closing the door behind her.

Tero stood outside, waiting for his twin to emerged. As she stepped out the house, she glared towards her brother. "What the HELL did you do in there!?" Amaya growled, slapping her brother violently, she knew full well what he did, but she couldn't let him get away with it.

Tero grunted as his head flew sideways, he gave a small shiver before looking back towards his twin sister "You know damn well what I did in there...I don't know what came over me okay? I regret it, so please don't tell dad?" He spoke calmly, but a hint of fear was within his voice also. Amaya placed a hand to her head as she rubbed it gently, looking at him.

"I won't tell Dad this time, you can't just go kissing every new male werewolf, last time it got seriously ugly. And you PROMISED dad! You better hope Slash doesn't read anything into it Tero!" She growled, giving another glare towards her brother before finally walking away from the house and beginning to head home, Tero following close behind her.

8: The Twins
The Twins

The night sky was covered with stars, the village quiet, it was peaceful. Slash took a step out of his house, taking in the night air. He stepped off the step and headed towards the village center, he enjoyed the quietness of the village, it always gave of some pleasant feeling, considering most of the people where monsters.

Slash stopped dead in his tracks when he spotted two young children standing there, watching him.

He watched them for a little bit before stepping forward, raising an eyebrow, wondering why there where just stood there. “Can I...ummm...help you?” Slash spoke with a hint of worry in his voice, he WAS the new werewolf, who used to be part of a vampire family, he was sure somewhere along the line, someone would want him dead.

“Slash” The girl spoke.

“Jack” The boy spoke.

Slash stood, frozen. No one knew his old name...but this boy did.

The young twins hair blew in the wind, their purple hair stuck out like a sore thumb. The female wore a beautiful white dress, as the boy, wore a black top and red shorts. Though the most noticeable of their features was their eyes. They both had a blue eye and a red eye, though they where opposite from each other.

“Your mother and brother miss you” The female spoke with a smile, though it was quick to disappear as her brother spoke.

“But your brothers mind is being poisoned by your father.” He spoke bluntly, showing no emotion unlike his sister, until a smirk crept onto his face. “And soon, he'll want to do to you, what your father had done to you.” The boy continued, with a rather sinister look upon his face. His sister still smiled, like she hadn't heard what her brother her just said.

“But it'll be easy to defeat him. He just misses his big brother, he cries at night wishing you where still there” She spoke gently, walked towards Slash, placing a hand on his shoulder before giving him a reassuring smile.

“H-how do you know all this? Who are you!?” Slash stepped back, it was safe to say this two where defiantly giving him a scare, they seemed to act like they knew the future, and some of the past, who can do that. It defiantly wasn't a form of werewolf power...that he knew of anyway.

“We are the magical twins” The girl spoke before turning towards her brother, who stepped forward. “We see the future in different ways. I see them bad” He spoke, another small smirk creeping onto his face.

“And I see them happy” The female let out a giggle “Mitsukai” She bowed to him, her brother just stood still. “Mashin.”

“Angel and Devil” Slash spoke, looking at the pair, admiring them, trying to get grips with the pair that where extremely freaky.

“What else are you going to tell me?” Slash spoke, interesting to know if they could tell him anything decent, like if he could ever be with his family, or if he was going to be murdered by his father. He shivered at the thought.

“Well. In about five minutes. Your going to change and murder a lot of people. And then. You'll wind up outside your village and be murdered” Mashin spoke firmly, nodding his head towards Slash before turning his back, heading away from the two.

“Or you might survive. It depends on what you do. But I suggest going to the forest Slash. Embrace it. Your special, because of your vampire blood...it'll react with your werewolf blood and you'll become the definition of Monster. Enjoy what you have now Slash...This story is just beginning. A great battle is coming.” Mitsukai spoke softly, smiling softly towards him before bowing and walking away from him.

Slash stared after the two, confused as to what just happened, he wasn't sure whether to believe anything they just said, but they knew his past, so they must have some knowledge of what their on about.

Slash took a few more seconds before deciding to run to the forest, he didn't want to chance it, if they where telling the truth, he didn't want to change right in the middle of the village. Though he was confused as to why he was due to change, it wasn't a full moon any time soon, he had no reason to change.

Slash arrived outside the village, taking a deep breath. He stood still, shivering waiting, but nothing seemed to be happening. Slash gave a sigh, it was at least 10 minutes before he decided they where lying. He turned around and headed back towards the gate. However; as he took a step, he grabbed his head letting out a cry of agony.

He dropped to his knees and held his head, another cry escaped when his whole body began to ache. He jolted as he moved his hands away from his head as his claws began to grow. He stared at them before his mind was turned to his tearing flesh and growing face. The pain never got any easier to deal with, it was just as painful and just as hard the other times.

Slash attempted to cry out for someone, Amaya, Tero, anyone, but his voice wouldn't allow him and he was helpless as he watched his world become black, suddenly terrified of waking up in the morning and the carnage he was going to leave behind in the night.

9: The Realisation
The Realisation

Birds sung. The tree's rustled in the wind. The morning dew dripped off the leaves of the flowers surrounding the village gate. Whimpering was heard near the gate. Chocolate brown eyes slowly opened, adjusting to the light. Slash groaned before putting both of his hands on the floor, pushing himself up onto his knees.

He rubbed his eyes, frowning at his hands, which felt wet against his eyes and face. His eyes opened once again, looking at them. Red. His hands where red. No. Not just red. Blood Red. Those chocolate brown eyes widened as far as they could. It took a few seconds, but a ear piercing scream echoed through out the forest.

Tears dropped to the ground, he violently wiped his face with his wrists, trying to avoid getting any blood on his face. Slash shook violently as he took deep breaths, trying to calm himself down. He took a few more moments before finally looking around his surroundings, stunned by the amount of carnage around him. Bodies where all around him, some where complete skeletons, some had half their bodies eaten, but what disturbed Slash the most was the amount of bodies that had heads and limps torn off from their bodies and surrounding him. He stared at them, the sickness raising within him.

“Well well, someone got hungry. Unusual for the whole body to be eaten though...” A female voice spoke drawing Slash's attention from the bodies and to the voice. They stared at each other for a short while. Brown eyes stared into green eyes. “W-what do you mean...?” Slash managed to finally get out past the sickness in his stomach and lump in his throat.

“Vampire's only suck the blood...duh.” She spoke, rolling her eyes before placing her green eyes back onto the male in front of her. He stared at her for a few seconds before looking around and spotting a village gate near their location. His chocolate brown eyes widened as far as they could when reality struck him.

“SHIT! This is Hindland...how did I get here?” He spoke with a hint of fear, he instantly began to wonder why on earth he would come to his old village in his werewolf form. It was suicide to be here.

“Err, don't you live here dude? What happened anyway? Who are you?” The female spoke once again, raising an eyebrow as she began to look around the surroundings, beginning to wonder what actually happened here, it was very rare for a vampire to actually physically eat a human being.

“Nothing. Nothing happened, just...pretend you never saw me...please?” Slash spoke calmly, not wanting the woman to think any more than needed, if he asked nicely, she wouldn't ask question would she?

“That's a strange thing to ask...” She looked at him closely, beginning to look him up and down, biting down on her lower lip gently. “You look familiar...do I know you...?” She rose an eyebrow as she began to focus more on his features than the bodies around him. His face was familiar to her, it began to bug her so much she leaned in close to his face, concentrating hard.

“Um, no?” Slash spoke with a small smile, hoping she would just accept the answer and leave, however; an eyebrow in response from the female doubted his hopes.

“Wait a second...” The female suddenly gasped, startling Slash. “Aren't you Jack? The leaders son...?” Slash shook his head almost instantly desperate to throw her off his scent, though it was clear she was already onto him. They stared at each other for a short while before she finally knelt down in front of him, watching him lean back a little bit.

A small smirk slid across her face as she looked down at his bare leg. An open wound leaking blood. HIS blood. Perfect. She wiped some of his blood onto her finger standing herself up. Slash stared at her, watching her venture over towards a tree. She stopped beside it and knelt down beside what looked like a pile of dirt. No, not dirt. Dust. When there was a pile of dust, it meant a vampire had died in that place, which meant only one thing.

His eyes widened as he watched her wipe his blood onto the dust, staring at it, holding his breath without even realising it. It took a few seconds before he let his breath out, figuring nothing was happening due to the lack of action. The female looked puzzled for a few moments before the dust began to move, making her puzzled look practically melt away.

The dust started to form the start of what seemed like a body. Feet first, then the legs, hips, torso, breasts, arms, shoulders, neck and then the head. The now; reformed female looked around, giving off a confused face for a few seconds.

“What's this Jupiter? Wasn't I, you know, dust?” She tilted her head, looking at the other female in front of her, who simply laughed and gestured towards Slash. “You where staked in the heart by a hunter..but then I found him.” Jupiter spoke, a smirk sliding across her face watching the other female follow her arm before laying her eyes on to the young boy herself.

“Oh! Look who's come home for a visit. Daddy will be VERY happy to see you” She burst into laugher, unable to breath for a short while.

“S-so this is why I'm so special?” Slash finally spoke, the shock and fear slightly subsiding allowing the lump in his throat to disappear. His father had told him about his 'special' blood on that fateful night and finally he had seen it in action, it terrified him that his blood could make vampires fully immortal.

“Come on doggy...lets take you home...” Jupiter laughed before heading over to him, smirking as he began to push himself away from her every step she took closer. Slash scrambled to his feet before he fell back against a tree.

“Leave me alone!” Slash panted violently, the fear was far to overwhelming for him, his father wouldn't let him escape with his life for a second time, he had hoped his father would think he died that day so he'd never look for him, looks like that won't be happening.

The two girls laughed before getting ready to pounce before their attention was drawn to two wolves approaching them. The black wolf growled violently, his bright yellow eyes staring straight into their souls. The red wolf approached more careful and less violent, bright green eyes not so intimidating, but still did the job.

The two girls instantly took a few steps back, their cocky facial expressions falling from their faces and becoming fearful ones. The red wolf dived at one of the girls, causing them to jump back in horror. “There's more!? Oh that's it! This means war!” Jupiter growled towards the pair of wolves before grabbing the other girls hand and running towards their village.

Waiting until the girls where completely gone, Tero and Amaya transformed back into their human form before turning their attention to the, still slightly shocked Slash. It took a few moments before he finally registered the pair. “What are you two doing here...?” He spoke, still sounding slightly out of it, but he managed to keep eye contacted with Amaya.

“We noticed you had disappeared last night...and Tero said he could smell trouble around your scent. So we rushed towards it.” Amaya headed over to Slash, placing a robe around him, covering him up and keeping him warm at the same time. “Are you okay? Did they hurt you...?” She spoke with that warm gentle voice of hers, a voice that could melt a villan's heart given chance.

Slash looked at her, hesitating before looking down at his leg, the cut was still there, the blood beginning to dry onto his skin. “...S-she just brought a vampire back...brought her back from dust” The fear clear in his voice, he knew his blood was special, but he never imagined he'd witness it first hand.

“Do you understand now? Understand why Amaya did what she did? Why we couldn't let them have your blood?” Tero knelt down beside him, gently rubbing away the dried blood, avoiding any form of eye contact with the boy he was cleaning.

The brown haired boy just stared into nothing, he was terrified. If given the chance, his blood could bring back every vampire that was ever turned to dust, his blood could be responsible for the world ending given half the chance. Every scenario ran through his brain. What if Amaya didn't turn him? What if his father had murdered him? What if he ended the world?

Everything soon became too much for him to comprehend. His eyes closed as he became limp against the tree. “He...passed out?” Amaya tilted her head, stroking the male's hair away from his eyes.

“Makes sense, he's just become fully aware of the danger he can cause...come on, lets get him back” Tero sighed, flinging Slash over his shoulder, not too hard, not wanting to cause any harm to the male's body.
