Door of Fate

Chapter 1: Door of Fate

Dawn was approaching, the night sky was royal purple, casting beautiful glows through the trees of the moonlight forest. The air was warm and comforting, brushing past a small garden of flowers, hidden beneath the canyon walls. There was no sign of any animal life, only plants and trees, the grass and a dirt path cutting through the forest. Stars shimmered in the sky, reflecting off the bare canyon walls and into the forest making it's only light source.

The garden hidden with the walls was blocked by logs to protect it, so nothing may harm the peace of this peaceful place. Orchids, lilies and roses grew here, colors of blue, purple and pink was all to be seen through the darkness of the tall grass and shadow of the logs.

One certain rose stood out from the rest, it was pink and very beautiful. A bright light from a star in the night sky shone on it, like a spotlight. The pink rose bloomed its petals, opening into a beautiful perfect flower. Inside, was a small creature, a pixie, glimmering bright pink wings reflecting from the purple sky, longish neon pink hair and pale pink skin. It was a boy fairy, snuggled up sleeping, completely naked.

The light of the moon awoke the tiny fairy, he peeked his head out of the flower, his eyes contrasting the darkness of the night sky, glowing royal purple. He smiled and yawned, stretching his tiny limbs outwards, revealing his slim figure and subtle muscle curves of his little body.

The fae leaped out of the rose and flew around the garden, spreading his pink fairy dust along the other flowers, it was time to get up and awaken the light! Each rose blossomed slowly at the touch of the magic dust, revealing different fairies all around. Many fae started to come out of their slumber and sprinkle their dust all around the garden, giggling and laughing. Many array of colors filled the beautiful moonlight garden, blue, purple, yellow, red, pink, green, it was like an everlasting mobile rainbow. The garden was lit up, it was only seen as a tiny white light in the forest hidden away at the edge of Fae Forest.

Justyen, our fairy boy was practicing at becoming a great wizard. He loved playing with magic and loved everything about magic and dreams. Every day he would go out exploring the forest and travel deeper and further into the unknown. His master Dora forbid him to go any further because of the dangers that lurk within the forest.

Dora is a wingless aged pixie that trains newcomer wizards to become great explorers and adventurers so they can leave the garden and spread their everlasting light to the world. His skin is dark blue and his head is big and shaped like an egg, holding a great and powerful brain! His beady little eyes are like an insects eyes, darting around and around non stop, looking at all his surroundings clearly. He carried with him a wand, which aided him to grow new flowers and protect the precious fae garden.

Dora has trained Justyen for many centuries, his confidence grew that the young fae was ready to go out on his own and spread his dream light to all of the world.

"Justyen!" Dora called out with his tiny squeaky voice.

The young fae heard his master call and flew down to an opening in the log protecting the garden. This is where Dora lived, making a small home inside the tree log. Candles were lit up on the inside, potions and scrolls and spellbooks littered his house.

"I am here Dora, what's wrong?" Justyen said joyfully.

Dora got up and walked towards him every so slowly, telling him that he was ready to go out on his own, and that fate had come, the time to seek out new light, hope, dreams and even love.

"I have put my trust in you for the past many years, and I fink it is time for you to spread your wings and open your heart to the world honey. Someone out there needs you right now, you must follow your heart..." Dora said.

"I know I am ready Dora, thank you for teaching me your magic, I won't let you down..." The young fae said, his voice confident, yet a hint of sorrow swept over him. A tear coming to his tiny eye.

"Do not cry Justyen, you have come very far, I will always be here when you need to come back, I promise." Dora nodded, placing a hand on the fae's shoulder.

"I will be strong Dora." Justyen smiled.

"Make sure you take your magic robe, it holds all your power in it, until you can upgrade it for new and powerful spells." Dora says, throwing a dark red robe, with a light blue cowl attached at Justyen.

Justyen puts it on, his aura glowing bright blue. This robe gives him the power to use his ice magic, which ice is his specialty, he loved the cold. Dora also gave him his magic wand as a gift, it would come in handy against any dangers that he might encounter.

"Your wand?" Justyen asked, looking confused.

"Yes child, you are ready to wield its magic, I have great faith in you Justyen." Dora smiled and nodded happily, his eyes darting around in circles.

"Thank you." Justyen said, giving Dora a hug, then flying out into the great Fae Forest.

The forest was still dark, the moonlight shining on Justyen, as he flew cautiously around. He was like a tiny firefly in the midsts of the darkness. It was quiet and warm, the violet sky reflecting in the fairies eyes. Trees were scattered everywhere, making his journey difficult, like going through a maze of grass and bark. Justyen just stayed on the path he found so he wouldn't get lost. Bright pink and white fae dust trailing his wake.

He saw something ahead of him moving within the trees. Justyen hid in a nearby bush and just looked out into the moonlit forest, waiting for something to happen. The bush glowed a faint white light, but could still be seen by others. Worry came over the fae...

Peering into the darkness, a figure came into a spot of light. It was a high elf, standing tall, wearing a red robe with a blue cowl, almost the same as Justyen. He carried a long staff with crystals pointing from the tip. His hair, brown and short, wrapped with a white jeweled crest equipped with red rubies. Turquoise eyes gleamed in the light, contrasting well with the green of the trees and grass.

Justyen just stared at the beautiful male high elf, walking down the dirt path of the moonlit forest. He wasn't afraid of the elf, as the fae and high elves are allies.

The young fae saw the elf look his way and notice his white aura glowing within the bush. He giggled as the high elf approached, he couldn't help but blush red, the elf was very attractive to the young fae.

"Hello?" The high elf said, his voice having a beautiful accent to it.

The bush shook and pink dust sprinkled all around the place. The elf flinched back, but then came in closer, reaching inside the bush to see what it was. Justyen couldn't hold it in any longer, he sensed a bright light with the high elf and darted out of the bush, flying around the elf, sprinkling more fairy dust around in his wake.

"Oh bless..." The high elf said, just as Justyen stopped in front of his face.

They gazed into each others eyes, locked tight, not wanting to look away. A vision of a dream entered their minds, as if they both knew what the other was thinking.

Mystical cities, surrounded by light, forests made of snow and ice, fields made of pure lush green grass, skies as clear as our hearts and souls, waters deep within, reflecting in our eyes. Churches in the distance, clocks ticking, fairies flying, dreams awakening and coming true! All they could see was a bright future, filled with adventure, love, wonder, excitement and light. Justyen knew it had to be fate. The one soul mate to carry on his dream and hold his heart in his hand, to protect him, love him and be with him through everything. Dora was right, now Justyen could spread his light, and do it with the light in his heart as he's always dreamed of! To help others fight off the shadows and make this world better...

"What's your name, little fairy?" The high elf asked.

"Justyen." The fae replied.

"I'm Steviad, a high elf sorcerer from Faei." He held out a hand, as Justyen landed in the center of the high elves palm.

The fairy just sat there, playing with the high elves fingers, glides his small hands along Steviad's hand. The touch was gentle, soothing, warm. Steviad was overwhelmed with immense light, and love, a love that he had never felt before after all the lonely hard years he's been through. Justyen also felt a powerful force within the high elf, light, love, protection...

Both of them felt very dreamy and connected, in a way that both of their minds and hearts had always wanted. Only in so little time have they just met, the power they both had was intense and felt so right, a dream come true. The aura around Justyen sparkled and shone around Steviad, glowing a bright pink and blue light around them both. Their hearts became one, a fated meeting... predicted by Dora.

"Would you like to come with me?" Justyen asked Steviad to join him on his adventure to spread his light, flying up close to his face, touching Steviad's nose softly with one small hand.

"I would love to!" Replied Steviad, blushing in the face.

Justyen kissed Steviad on the nose, then took a place on his left shoulder, snuggling up against his smooth neck. They both took off, into the forest of Fae, the night fading away, as the Sun rose up in the sky, shining a light on them both, a beautiful, wonderful light...

Chapter 2: Strength of light

The golden Sun peeked through the night sky, it was dawn now while Justyen and Steviad made there way out of Fae Forest and reaching the woodland colony of Tokugai. This is where there adventure started, but first, they took a rest on a bench next to a birch tree. Justyen fluttered around Steviad, giggling and whispering things into his ear.

Fairy dust spread all over the bench, like pink, blue and white confetti. Justyen landed on Steviad's shoulder to tell him, that he was in love. The bench started to glimmered bright white and levitated in the air. Steviad gripped the arms of the bench, preventing him from falling off. Justyen just buried himself in Steviad's cowl, tickling him slightly at the touch of his wings. Steviad giggled as they were lifted high into the sky now, overlooking the whole island of Fae Forest. It was really beautiful.

The ocean waters crashed against the beach shores, green trees blowing in the wind, covering most of the island. They could see everything, there were even other elves, fairies and magical creatures about, that looked like tiny ants. The Sun rose higher in the sky, dawn breaking into the morning. The sunrise gleamed of the waters in the horizon, as the bench drifted slowly through the clouds. It was a remarkable sight, the glow of the Sun shining in both their faces, cool morning breeze in their faces, making them shiver all over, just as well as shivering with the feeling of everlasting love in their hearts. It made them both feel very dreamy and bright.

They were carried across the open seas, through the sunny skies. In the distance was a small island hidden with a foggy mist. Bats and birds flew around in circles of the mist. At first it seemed scary to them, but eventually the light in their hearts, the love for each other grew. Feeling brave, and benevolent, a force of goodness overwhelmed them both. It was not just one of them acting on their own, but giving each other the light they have always dreamed of, feeling happy and joyful.

Closer they drifted through the skies and down into the white mist of the island. Two bats came and took each side of the bench, carrying them down into an open field of lush grass and flowers. You couldn't see the ocean anymore, as it was covered by the fog. The bats were home to this island and were kept safe by the mist, no other travelers had ever come here, Justyen and Steviad were the first.

Steviad stood up, he was a little shaky from the ride, but managed just as well. The air smelled cool and crisp, rays of the Sun shone through portions of the mist, lighting up only certain areas of the island. Steviad felt a kiss on his cheek, it was Justyen, fluttering beside him in awe at the island as well.

"I love you." Said Justyen.

Steviad's face beat red as he turned to face his fairy lover. They each smiled and were blown away at the emotion they were both feeling. They found a place they could call their own, a place where their dreams would start, a place to call home. It was all happening so fast, Justyen felt a little dizzy, falling from the excitement. Steviad caught him in mid air and sat down beside a shaded tree.

Steviad sat cross-legged, his robe acting as a hammock for Justyen to sit in. he placed the fae down, and let him rest from the long journey.

"I love you too, Justyen." The high elf said.

Just then a small bat came up behind Steviad, landing on his left shoulder. It startled him a bit, then smiled.

"Hello there." He said.

The bat squeaked and looked like it was smiling back at him. It was black, and it's wings were a dark brown. It stared at Steviad with it's little red eyes, creepy, but still cute.

"Cakey..." Steviad said. "I will call you Cakey!" The bat squeaked joyfully, then flapped it's tiny wings. Steviad couldn't help but smile.

He turned to watch Justyen, who was resting in the lap of his robe. His wings were covering him like a blanket, guarding him from all darkness outside. Steviad peered over him, protectively, he would never let anyone harm his new found love and protect him for eternity. A tear dropped from Steviad's eye, he caught it, cupping both his hands in front of him. A bright light radiated, creating the shape of a pyramid in his cupped hands.

The light of the magic pyramid awoke the sleeping fae. Justyen covered his eyes with his wings, and peered through, seeing the pyramid in Steviad's hands. The pyramid was transparent, with a tint of strawberry pink. It was delicate like ice and glimmered like sapphire. It spun around in Steviad's hands, reflecting light in every direction.

"It's beautiful.." Justyen said.

Steviad never noticed that he woke up. He peered through the ice pyramid to see Justyen on the other side, his little eyes glowing from the light of the pyramid. He smiled, his heart grew inside him, bigger and brighter. It was like a beautiful vision for him, to see Justyen wake up beside him.

"You're beautiful." Steviad said, just gazing into Justyen's eyes. The grin on the fairies face only made Steviad smile even brighter.

The pink crystal pyramid was a symbol of their everlasting light, and love. It was the beginning of an awakening light hidden deep inside both of them. The fate portrayed by Dora had come true, the light was only about to get bigger, but the shadows would also grow, but that was something they would both be able to conquer together.

The pyramid created a shape into the tree beside them, a heart, for both of them to remember where they first created their light, created their dream island. Peering inside the small pyramid was also a heart, the heart of both of them, the heart that they shared together in the light.

This would be the crystal they used to get back to the island for any reason. Justyen came up to touch the pyramid, it gave off the greatest light, almost blinding them both. The island was then surrounded by the magic of the pyramid protective them both within it. The bats were not harmed, as they were all blind anyways by the thick fog that still roamed inside the island.

"This was the light, that Dora told me about, it was you..." Justyen said, fascinated by the beauty of the high elf through the crystal pyramid.

"I will always protect you Justyen. You have shown me great strength, and joy that I will never forget. You truly are an amazing fae. If you need anything, I'm here for you."

"Steviad... Thank you."

"I'll always love you, Justyen."

"Oh Steviad... I love you too." His face turned pink, blushing at the words the high elf spoke to him. Those words that were always beside him, the high elf that would always protect him, his one true love. The Sorcerer of Soul, the Wizard of Light, however you would call him... Steviad, the High Elf Sorcerer.

It was time to get back to Fae Forest and visit the elves and fairies of the island. The bat followed them both back to the bench, and carried them back to Tokugai. It was morning now, the Sun shining high in the sky, the skies were clear of clouds. The Sun was warm on their faces, like the warmth in their hearts.

The island they left behind disappeared in the distance as they came upon Tokugai. The bench led them back the tree they were at before they left this place. It was a beautiful day, Cakey the bat on on shoulder and Justyen sitting calmly on Steviad's other shoulder.

"We should go visit Dora, and tell him what we found." Justyen said quietly.

"That sounds lovely, I would like to meet him."

"There is a small garden deep within Fae Forest, I will show you where it is!" Justyen raced off towards the forest, as Steviad and the bat followed behind him.

The chase was on, Steviad and Justyen both giggling and looking back at each other lovingly. Cakey rushed passed and caught up with Justyen, screeching happily.

"Wait!" Steviad yelled, stopping the two in their tracks.

"What's wrong?"

"Come here, look..." Steviad beckoned them back to him, as he pointed ahead into a darker area of the forest.

There, sneaking around behind the dense trees was a Lizardman, leaping around, trying to not be seen. Lizardmen were never seen here, as most of them were evil and would be caught dead on this island. Cakey was scared and hid underneath Steviad's cowl. Justyen sat on his lovers shoulder and peeked around his pointy ears at the lizard, still running around the forest.

"What's a Lizardman doing here?" Justyen asked.

"I don't know my love, but whatever he wants, I won't let him harm you."

"We should go warn Dora, before it finds the garden."

"Of course, lead the way." Steviad said, motioning the fae to be cautious while staring at the mysterious lizard.

They made there way back to the small garden hidden behind a log. Steviad was too tall, so with a little fairy magic, Justyen transform his beloved into a small fae just like him! Justyen waved his wand around in circles, creating sparkles of blue and white light around Steviad. The high elf was completely covered with dust, then shrank into a small fae, about the same size as Justyen and the bat. His hair turned blue, along with his wings and eyes were also bright blue.

"Cute!" Justyen said.

"Now I am just like you honey." Replied the newly formed fairy.

They both smiled and kissed each other, then flew down into the garden of the fae. Hopefully Dora would have some insight and guidance as to why a Lizardman would be in their lands. Now begins the real adventure... Justyen and Steviad, together forever in a great adventure. Justyen, the Guardian of Light, and Steviad, the Protector of Hearts!

Chapter 3: Magic, Energy, Passion

Dora explained that the Lizardman came here from across the eastern Pixie Plains, but didn't know exactly what it's intentions were. Lightning clasped in the far distance of the garden within the forest, which made thunderous echoes shake the garden. Light rain began to come down, sprinkling the flowers with fresh water, blooming new amounts of energy within them. The flowers of the garden held great elemental magicks for the fae to use for gardening, casting spells or just about anything they wanted.

The skies became cloudy and dark, the light of the fae lit up the garden, like tiny glowing dots scattered around. Justyen and Steviad were ordered by Dora to gather some of the energies within the flowers to help ward away the intruding Lizardman.

"How will the energy help us Dora?" Asked Steviad.

"It is quite simple, the elemental energies from the flowers will boost your magick power in your hearts to make your spells stronger. I can tell that this Lizardman is a summoner, it brought forth this storm, and now you need to counteract it with our own natural abilities. The Lizardmen do not know what they are dealing with." Dora said.

"Thank you Dora, we will do the best we can." Justyen said.

"Now go, before the storm worsens!"

The fae left Dora's log home and went down to the garden where flowers were blooming with powerful energy. Above them, sitting on the log was Cakey the bat, looking out for the Iksar to be sure it didn't enter the gardens.

Justyen came upon a blue flower, radiating with cold energy. Ice definitely fascinated him, so he channeled the mist of cold energy from the flower into his wand, creating a wave of blue sparkles. Nearby, Steviad was deciding which flower he wanted, then saw a nice purple one by itself. The energy from this flower was different from the rest. It gave off spiritual energy rather then elemental. Steviad was intrigued, so he got out his staff to conjure up the magick. Looking deep at the flower, he could hear faint whispers coming out of it, like they were ghosts or spirits inside. It was glowing bright purple. Justyen came up behind him.

"What did you find?" Asked Justyen.

"This is the only mystical flower in the garden." Steviad told Justyen.

"This one is made of spirits and ghosts. You can use souls from the ones that have passed away, it might be useful honey."

"Interesting, maybe I should try it?" Steviad asked.

"Go for it baby."

Steviad raised his staff, pointing the tip at the flower. Ghostly energy wavered around the flower and then to the staff. Whispers surrounded them both, telling them powerful words of wisdom. Shivers ran down Steviad, his mind opened to the spirits, his heart was beating and pounding in his chest. He could feel the love and light that had passed away, like the spirits were giving him their strength and magick that they had. Justyen was just watching in awe.

Cakey suddenly came swooping down at Justyen and Steviad, seeming frantic and scared.

"What's wrong Cakey?" Asked Steviad, who was just finishing up gathering the rest of the mystic energy.

Cakey squeaked and darted out of the garden. Both of the fae glanced at each other, then flew off following their traveling bat companion into the forest. The Lizardman was coming too close to the garden, and surely he would discover them.

"Steviad, what do we do?" Asked Justyen.

"Change me back into a high elf, I will distract him." Said Steviad.

"But..." Justyen said, worried.

"Don't worry, I know what I can do." Steviad reassured his beloved.

Justyen just nodded then with the magic of his wand, turned Steviad back into his former high elf form, sitting on the log above, and waiting to strike.

Cakey and Justyen came up on either side of his shoulders to assist.

"Greetings!" Steviad greeted the Lizardman as he approached.

The Lizardman just stood there and did nothing, confused at how the high elf appeared before him. Steviad ran passed the lizard through the forest, then turned around suddenly, raising his right arm behind him up in the air. Cakey followed, whilst Justyen spun around the Lizardman, making him dizzy.

"Insolence..." Said the lizard, making the sound of a snake when speaking the "S" sound.

"Justyen, be careful!" Shouted Steviad.

The fae circled the lizard, creating a massive pile of fairy dust in front of him. It was cold to the touch, yet warmth from the light.

"Projen cryonous!" Justyen shouted, as a whirling void of cold energy surrounded the Lizardman, freezing it's scales on impact. Particles of ice bounced off him as he stood there shivering from the intense cold.

Lightning flashed in the sky and thunder crashed, the Lizardman fell to his knees, not reacting hostile in any way, but rather acting defensively.

"Stop..." Demanded the Lizardman.

"Why should I?" Justyen stated angrily.

Steviad and the bat came up to them, with a sense that the lizard wasn't there to harm anything.

"Who are you?" Steviad asked calmly, motioning Justyen to stay calm as well.

"Craitziss, Lizardman Summoner... Please, I am not here to harm anyone." Pleaded the lizard, still shivering from the cold spell.

"What are you doing here then?" Asked Justyen.

"Please..." Craitziss began to feel warmer, with the light from the hearts of the two lovers. He got to his feet, and began to explain why he was on their island. "I'm only here to escape being hunted by the Qeynos guards. I wanted to prove myself I can be a worthy ally against the forces of darkness. The other Lizardmen do not like the fact that I have betrayed them, but in my heart, it does not feel right."

"You came here to seek redemption?" Asked Steviad.

"Precisely, even though I am a lizard, my heart is different from the rest of those backwater creatures."

Justyen smiled and fluttered up towards the Lizardman's face.

"I believe you..." Justyen said, in a small quiet voice. Craitziss almost began to tear, he felt the light within the fae.

"Thank you." Said Craitziss, in a soft tone.

Steviad noticed the atmosphere of the forest change. It felt cold, and unpleasant. They all suddenly noticed ghostly figures wandering around the forest. Spirits and ghosts of elves, humans and animals that have died. In the corner of their eyes they could only see sudden movements of transparent astral images. You couldn't just focus on one of them, your eyes shifted around to different areas, overwhelmed by the fact that there were so many of them around. Poor Steviad started to feel dizzy and lose his balance. Whispers and images ran through his mind, he couldn't focus at all anymore.

"What's... happening?" Steviad lost control, then fell forwards onto his hands and knees.

Justyen came to his side, talking to him, but Steviad couldn't hear anything, all he could hear was whispers, voices, images flashing in his head. He couldn't make out what any of the voices were saying. Ghosts, spirits, the undead calling out to him. The mystic energy he took from the flower must have been too much for him to handle. The vision of Justyen in front of him was blurry. He reached out a hand to touch him. Justyen's words were faint and quiet, overpowered by the spirits voices in his head.

Steviad could see legions of goblins in his head, raiding the island, killing the elves and fairies, burning down trees, torturing the wildlife animals. Pain and anguish filled his heart in empathy for the elves and creatures of the island. He burned with anger inside, as the spirits whispers became more clearer.

"Goblins... kill them... they destroyed everything... they will come again... help us... save the island..."

The whispers inside his head soon faded, as Steviad came to his senses now, jolting to his feet.

Justyen went flying backwards "What the!!" He shouted.

"Goblins, goblins are going to terrorize this island!"

Justyen fluttered his wings rapidly, coming up to Steviad's face, placing a small hand on his cheek.

"What did you see?" Asked Justyen.

"The spirits warned me of incoming goblins to this island, we must protect this place. I must protect you..." Steviad said worried and nervously.

"Don't worry." Justyen said, kissing Steviad softly on the nose. It felt warm and calming. "This is what we came here for, now we have a chance to give our light. Our chance to show this world what power, what magic, light and passion we hold in our hearts, and in our soul. From the moment I saw your face, the moment I felt your warmth, I knew that you were the one. The one to carry both mine and your dreams. To protect my heart, for me to guard your light. We're in this together, no matter what. No matter how much you worry, I will always be here to take it away.." Justyen wipes a tear of Steviad's face. "Are you ready my love?" He asks.

"Yes..." Steviad said, with new found courage and light.

Justyen then turned towards the Lizardman, who was teasing Cakey, poking at it's wings. "Craitziss, can you stay here and protect the fae in this part of the forest?"

Craitziss nods. "Of course, if that means I can have a chance to gain honor with the elves. Would you mind if I trained Cakey? I am a strong summoner, and could teach him a few things myself."

Steviad and Justyen both agreed to let Cakey stay with the Lizardman and protect the garden while they head out into the forest in search of the goblin hordes. The forest got darker as they traveled deeper into it. Spirits and ghosts of the dead roamed around them, as they maneuvered through Fae Forest. Mist and fog surrounded them, keeping them hid from any goblin forces around them that could be lurking. The cold air gave them a rush of adrenaline, running through the misty forest. Soon, they would be upon the goblin horde base, and be ready for their first fight.

Goblin Camp

Chapter 4: Goblin Camp

The night fell, as Justyen and Steviad trotted through the Fae Forest. They left the fairy gardens to seek out where the goblin horde base was set up. Little did they know, they would find something else then what they were set out to find. The fog of the night covered the forest floor, concealing the trees and forest life around them. They ventured further into the thickness of the mist, coming upon a forest trail. The trail lead both ways, from west to east.

"Which way should we go?" Asked Justyen, shivering from the cold of the night on Steviad's shoulder.

Steviad thought it would be best to go back to high elf form to protect Justyen. He tickled Justyen's wings. "How about east? I can feel something coming from that way." He pointed in that direction down the misty trail.

Justyen nodded and giggled, they went in that direction, being careful of any dangers that lurk around them in the mist of the night. They didn't know what to expect, or when they would reach the goblin camp.

Just then, a piece of sausage comes flying at them out of the fog and hits Steviad in the gut and onto the forest floor. He flinches back and looks around him. Justyen just giggles.

"What is that?" Justyen asks.

A fox runs out from the fog and attacks the sausage, eating it all up. Steviad gets his staff ready, as does Justyen with a spell. The fox didn't even notice them, only enjoying eating the sausage that was thrown by someone.

"Notail!" A voice yells out from the mist.

"Who's there?" Justyen asks into the fog.

A green goblin comes out into view, wielding dual daggers, and a nothing else but a loincloth. He was very short, green skin, a just one piece of black hair hanging over his shoulder from the back of his head and bald on the top. He gurgled as he talked.

"What are you elves doing here?" The goblin asked, walking up to his pet fox.

"We heard there was a goblin horde terrorizing the forest, we are here to stop them. Are you their leader?" Steviad asked, clutching his staff tight.

The goblin just shook his head and gurgled at them. "No no no, this not my forest, I come here to stop the evil ones. These bad goblins!"

Steviad and Justyen seemed relieved, but weren't quite sure they believed the goblin. The fox layed down at the goblins feet.

"You don't believe me? My name is Gobbies, I are a good goblin, here to help the bird Queen from being poached! Humans and goblins like to come take her eggies. That not very nice you know!"

Steviad and Justyen glance at eachother, they believe at what the goblin is saying is true. After all, the goblin isn't even attacking them in the first place, since most goblins are mischievous and aggressive.

"We believe you." Justyen says, flying off Steviad's shoulder.

"Are there any more birds to protect the nest?" Steviad asks.

"No no no no, birds have all gone away or killed by poachers and goblins. Gobbies alone cannot defeat these evil things." Gobbies kneels down to his fox and pets her. Notail look up and looks as if she is smiling.

"That's a beautiful fox you have there Gobbies." Says Steviad.

"Yes yes yes, Gobbies save her from nasty humans, terrible things they are! Cut off her poor tail, so I call her Notail." Gobbies frowns at the thought of humans.

"I agree, humans are horrible. Are they working with the goblins?" Justyen flies over to the fox, reaching out a hand to her. She gives the fae one giant lick.

"No and yes, they kill goblins as well as steal eggies for themself. Are you here to help Gobbies?"

"Yes, we are here to stop the goblins, as well as a few humans if they are also involved." Says Steviad.

Gobbies jumps in the air and clicks his heels with joy. "Follows me!" He says, running off into the mist and Notail tagging behind.

Justyen and Steviad follow Gobbie deep into the forest, just outside the goblin camp. You can see a few campfires lit up within the darkness. Goblins running amok with eggs, torches and an arsenal of clubs, blades and bows. Beyond the camp was a huge tree, where the Queen Bird nested. You couldn't see anything up top where the nest was from where they were standing. But, you could see goblins climbing the tree up and down. You could also hear the mumbles and gurgles of the goblins talking to eachother in their native tongue. This mission was going to be difficult. Gobbie and Notail hide behind a bush just behind one of the goblin tents, peeking through to the camp. The boys hide behind a tree further back near where the trail to the camp ends.

"Gobbies, what's the plan?" Whispers Steviad.

Without saying a word, Gobbie is already sneaking up around the first tent closer to the camp. Notail stays hidden in the bush. What they didn't know, is Gobbie was carrying a pack of hefty dynamite. A goblin walks past the tent in clear view of Gobbie, no other goblins were close. Gobbies smirks as he tosses the dynamite at the goblins face, in an instant it explodes as Gobbies flips backwards as the goblins face explodes, it's body slumps over on the ground.

Gobbie rushes back to the bush, the sound causes alarm to the other goblins. They rush towards the dead goblin wondering what had happen. The goblins looked very confused and scour the tents and surrounding area where our heroes were hiding. The sound of the blast also awakened the Queen Bird in the tree. It made a loud screech as it swooped down from the tree and out of the mist into the campfire's light. She was a huge bird, giant green feathered wings and red fur on her head and body, with a white fur collar and massive talons.

The Queen Bird snatched up a couple goblins and flew up dropping them from high alititudes, falling to their deaths. One by one the goblins were in a panic being picked up by the giant bird and dropped from the sky. Gobbies and the others just hid watching in horror of the raining goblins.

A human appeared behind them in the fog from the other camp to the south. Notail was the only one that spotted it and chased it back through the mist.

"Notail!" Steviad shouts. He runs after Notail, disappearing through the mist.

"Stevie, where are you going?!" Justyen shouts. He stayed back and didn't want to get lost in the darkness. He turned to Gobbie who was going into the camp. Justyen flies up behind the tent as he watches Gobbie approach the Queen Bird who had finished wiping out the entire goblin camp. She was laying on the ground, nuzzling at her broken eggs in a pile near a campfire.

All was quiet in the night, Gobbie creeps up towards the laying bird. He drops his daggers on the ground and walks up silently to the birds beak, still nudging the eggs. He notices a tear drop from her face, a weeping sound comes over them from the giant bird. She didn't even notice Gobbie approach her, placing a hand on her beak.

"I'm sorry." Gobbie whispers, caressing the birds huge beak, trying to calm her down. Her eye turns to Gobbies, as another tear falls as she blinks of sadness.

Gobbie just lay there, holding the birds beak in comfort. All of her eggs have been broken and lost, she had nothing left. Justyen stayed behind the bush just watching them, crying his eyes out in empathy for the beautiful giant Queen Bird. The goblins destroyed her babies and left her with nothing. There were no more birds in this forest, the others had been killed by the goblins and all that was left was the eggs. The Queen Bird didn't want to leave her home, the eggs didn't hatch in time to make a new homeland, before the goblins came and destroyed the place. She is now the last of her species of Bird, the only one left, alone in this world. But, Gobbies and the others decided to stay with the Queen Bird and protect her. She wasn't a monster, or aggressive towards them, so the bird joined them on their adventure.

Now, Steviad has chased Notail off into the dark forest somewhere towards the southern poacher camp. It was too dark to go looking in this place, so Gobbies and Justyen decided to stay with the Queen Bird and rest at the camp until morning to find Steviad. Perhaps the bird could carry them and look from above?

Poacher Camp

Chapter 5: Poacher Camp

Steviad came upon a poacher camp as he chased Notail through the Fae Forest. There were a few tents, and female human poachers scattered around them, sorting eggs by the campfire. Behind the camp was a small airship they used to travel. They were putting the eggs inside the ship too.

Notail and Steviad crouched behind a bush, watching the poachers do their work. The fox growled at them, as Steviad muffled her voice closing her snout with both hands.

"Hush, don't make them notice us girl." He says silently, petting her face now.

Notail sat down quietly, rubbing against Steviad. They didn't know what to do, or how to stop them, there were too many of them for just them to fight alone. So they waited for their chance to strike. The night was long and Steviad became tired and fell asleep there in the bushes. He rest his head against Notail, who was already sleeping and they just lay there all night until morning.

The next morning, Steviad was awakened to the sound of a poacher messing with Notail. The mist of the night had cleared and the forest opened up before his eyes. There were many other animals around, and a river close by streaming from the north to south. Steviad's glance turns to Notail and a female poacher near the water. She had a knife in her hand, and looked like she was about to skin Notail!

Steviad got up quickly, staff in hand and ran towards the poacher with great speed. His face turned red and angry, he was one that did not like others harming animals. The poacher didn't see it coming, as Steviad motions a hand forwards, blasting her back into the river and her knife flying upwards. Steviad catches the knife in mid-air and throws it directly at the poacher in the river, stabbing her right in the eye. She screams in pain as she is sent southwards by the stream of the river.

"Notail, are you alright?" He asks, petting her face. Notail makes a happy sound and nudges against his robe.

The commotion gave attention to the other poachers who started coming at them. There were about four more of them, all with different weapons, knives, daggers and clubs. Steviad stood up and grasped his staff. Notail was ready to pounce at them, growling fiercely. Steviad went forward, using his blast force again on the nearest poacher, knocking her back against a tree. Notail ran up towards two others on the right, biting and clawing at their legs. One poacher fell, as Notail ripped her to shreds, the other one behind trying to get the fox off her, but struggles being kicked by Notail and falling backwards. Notail turns around towards the poacher she kicked and goes after her next, leaving the other one on the ground to bleed to death from bite and scratch wounds. The last poacher comes up to her side to tend to her wounds, but Steviad stops her and blasts here away towards a wandering bear, who mangles her to death.

Notail is now violently attacking the remaining poacher, biting at her bloody neck, and scratching at her breasts, ripping her leather tunic to shreds. This is one fox you just don't want to mess with, she may not have a tail, hence her name, but she is a deadly force.

"Notail, come!" Steviad shouts to her. The fox gets off the poacher, and comes to his side.

Steviad places a hand on Notail's head, and looks around the camp. All the evil poachers were slain, and all was left was broken eggs and an empty airship. They cleared the place out good, no more poachers would be stealing from this forest again. Notail walks towards the airship and sniffs it out. It looked to be in good working condition. Just then, Justyen came up behind Steviad and puts his arms around him.

"Hewwo you." Justyen says, he was in high form, but still shorter then Steviad so he could look up to him.

"Oh, hewwo you." Steviad says back smiling, putting his hands over Justyen's. "Where have you been?" He asks, turning around in Justyen's embrace, looking down at him now.

"Looking for you. Gobbie is flying with the Queen Bird, they seem to have bonded."

"Oh, that's great! Look what I found." Steviad pointed to the airship.

"Oh wow, an airship?" Justyen lets go of him and flutters over to the ship, where Notail was laying inside.

"Yea, isn't it cool? Maybe we could go for a ride." Steviad said.

Justyen turned to Steviad, he was glowing bright and happy, excited. They didn't say another word and were already inside the airship, getting it ready for flight. It wasn't complicated for Steviad, he was good with gadgets and the like.

They were already up in the air, as the airship was all set to take off from the poachers. They looked out across the forests and beyond the world of Eroza. You could see the Phantom glaciers in the distance, the Flare Volcanoes and the vast deserts of Dreson. The airship was called Cloudskipper, they could go wherever they wanted in Eroza, the adventure was endless in this world.

Justyen looked over at Steviad piloting the airship, blushing red face. Cool winds rushed threw Justyen's pink hair, masking one of his eyes as he just stared lovingly at Steviad. Steviad just smiled back, his heart beating faster, falling in love. Justyen smiled too, and giggled, as the winds still messed with his hair. Their dreams have only started from this day, love, light, happiness, adventure, laughter. This was only the beginning.

As they flew across the Mainlands, which is the main continent of Eroza, as they noticed a giant bird come up beside them. It was the Queen Bird from the goblin camp, with Gobbie on her back. Justyen waved at them, as Gobbie waved back gibbering. The Queen Bird let out a happy screech, as she soared through the skies of Eroza. She was free now and decided to adventure with her new friends, Gobbie, Steviad, Justyen and even Notail who was taken with Steviad now as her owner. But, the Queen Bird needed a name... how about...

Dream...

The Storm

Chapter 6: The Storm

The Cloudskipper soared through the skies of Eroza, looking down on the Mainland continent. They were heading east towards Faethfuland, the continent of the high elves and the fae. The clouds in the sky were turning grey, and dark. Steviad couldn't avoid them, they were coming at them fast.

"Storm is coming!" Gobbies is heard in the distance, riding Dream the Queen Bird through the blazing winds.

The storm was already on them, clouding their vision from the forests of dreams beneath them. Gobbies disappeared down into the clouds on his way to the forest, while Steviad tried his best to manoeuvre the ship down as well. The ship was rattled by the sounds of thunder in the distance. Lightning struck all around them, chaos in the sky overwhelmed them. Justyen grappled onto Steviad, still trying to get through this dark storm. Notail was huddled safely inside the deck of the ship below.

"Hold on!" Steviad shouts, trying to avoid lightning bolts.

Just then, it hit him. Justyen was struck by a powerful bolt of lightning, being thrown across the ship, then falling unconscious. Steviad gasped from the heat, it was very close, but couldn't go to his side, as he had to keep the ship steady. All Justyen could hear was Steviad yelling at him to get up. Slowly his mind drifted away, into a dream...

Many fairies, dancing around him, deep within the gardens of the fae. Pink hearts, blue diamonds, flowers of these colours filled his vision. These were the first things he saw when he awakened. A mist grew around him, comforting him within. The fairies vanished into the mist, leaving Justyen alone on the garden floor, naked. He felt a teardrop touch his hand, as he moved his head to see the mist clear away, opening up a great and bright forest before him. Feelings of light, wonder, love and sorrow washed over and overwhelmed him. He felt alone in the world, far away from Stevie, but yet inside of him, a light shined all around him, he knew that even Steviad wasn't here, he was really here, in his heart still. This was only a dream, but in reality Steviad was there, close to him. To touch, to feel, to hold forever and ever. The light that glowed from his body, matched the glow of light from the sunlight in the forest through the trees. He was one with his dreams, nature and Stevie. Justyen shrunk into fairy form and flew through the lit forest, searching, searching for Stevie. He wanted to be with him so bad, but didn't know where to look. His heart called to him, in the voice of Steviad. It told him to run, just light up and run to him. All he wanted was to run to him and his luminescence would light up, and feel that amazing feeling, his dream, his love. Light up, and run to him...

"Wake up!" A bolt of lightning struck the forest as Justyen awoke to the sound of Steviad's voice. He found himself in the arms of Steviad, on the floor of a forest. They had been hit by lightning and crashed right into Frozen Forest, near the forest of the wood and high elves, Steviad's home.

"Are you alright my love?" Steviad asked Justyen as he held him close.

"Stevie." Justyen said, slowly raising a hand to stroke his cheek. Steviad held on to his hand.

"What's wrong?"

"You light me up." Justyen said, smiling and beginning to glow bright pink.

Steviad just held him close, the storm above them passed and the skies cleared. The sun shone down on them both through the trees. Notail comes up and lays next to them, safe from the crash. Gobbie the Dream come up to them from around the crashed ship.

"There you are!" Gobbies yells, showing them his new electric storm blades.

"Lookit what I can do now!" Gobbies spins his electrified daggers around, showing off his new ability.

Everyone just laughed, as they all sit around the crash site, wondering where they would go next. Now that they were in Steviad's home forest, they could visit Faei or Sprittesville. There was lots more to discover about this land and more adventures to be had.

Chapter 7: Corruption

Frozen Forest was a beautiful forest, but with hidden dangers throughout. Our adventurers Justyen and Steviad, along with Gobbie and Dream walk through the forest, down a nature trail. It was mid day, and the forest was still and quiet. Notail was running about through the trees playing around also while keeping an eye out for any dangerous creatures. This forest was known to inhabit very deadly things. Brownies, orcs, bandits and even a powerful unicorn wanders these parts.

They made their way due west down the trail, and came upon a pixie tower, surrounded by other pixies and fae. Justyen couldn't believe his eyes he found more of his kind in this forest. He went over to greet them, and was welcomed into the fairy village deeper in the western part of the forest. They spent the day in the small village of fairies, talking and getting to know more about them and this mysterious part of the forest. There was an abandoned stone ring to the south, where the entrance to Ice Castle was. That castle was filled with many evils, vampires, ghosts, and dark elves. The fairies told them to not go there, it was a very dark place.

As night fell, Gobbie decided to head out into the dark forest alone without anyone knowing. As a goblin, he liked to cause trouble. He wandered south of the village and came upon an orc camp. There were only a few orcs, all asleep. Gobbie wanted to see the stone ring, but got lost of which direction he was going after finding the orc camp. Just then, a black figure approached the camp and started killing all of the orcs in the camp. Gobbie hid behind a tent and watched as this figure slaughtered them all. He peeked around the tent, as the last orc was slain. He saw the figure was tall, and had a black tail. It was a cat woman, the cat people from the moon. What was it doing here in the forest? Gobbie came out and surprised the cat person. She was quick and leaped up into a tree. Her yellow eyes glowed within the leaves of the tree.

"Hello!?" Gobbie shouted.

"Who are you? You startled me!" The cat woman replied back.

"I are Gobbies, who are you?"

"I am not from here goblin, why are you here?"

"I crashed here with my friends, they are at the fairy village."

"You shouldn't be out here at night, many dangers lurks within the shadows."

"Gobbies knows this, but doesn't care."

"I come here to seek out and destroy the corruption in this forest. The dark elves are not the only threat."

"Gobbies can help, what's your name?"

"Jorina, and you goblin?"

"I are Gobbies, you can come down now."

The black cat jumped out of the tree and lands in front of Gobbies overlooking him, as she was much taller then a mere goblin. She wore a chain link suit, with fur gloves, boots, a cowl and a golden belt. She carried a sword in her right hand, holding it behind her back. You could only see her glowing yellow eyes in the dark, as she had black fur.

"We must get you back to the village, you cannot stay out here alone goblin." Jorina said.

"Gobbies can help you fight the corruption!" Gobbie said, jumping around showing off his electrified daggers.

"So, your friends are safe in the fairy village? Let them stay there for the night, we must get out of here."

Just then, there was a strange noise heard somewhere within the forest. Saying nothing, Jorina leaped into the darkness towards the sounds, followed by Gobbies. It sounded like a horse, and screaming...

Justyen and Steviad were at a haunted shrine, close to the orc camp, being attacked by a dark unicorn. The unicorn that turns dark and corrupted at night. Justyen lay unconscious on the shrine steps, as the dark unicorn slowly approaches Steviad.

"Stay back from that thing!" Jorina yells, jumping and flipped around towards the candle-lit shrine.

The corrupted unicorn chases Steviad away into the dark forest, as Jorina picks up Justyen from the shrine. Bones of slain skeletons are scattered around the place.

"Gobbies, go after Steviad, head towards the stone ring to the south, hurry!" Jorina shouts.

She follows behind Gobbies, then grabs him by his waist, carrying him on her side, running as fast as she can, catching up to Steviad and the corrupt unicorn. The horse was too fast for Stevie to outrun, it was gaining on him quick, as Jorina was barely gaining on the unicorn. There was a sudden screech above them, and the sound of large flapping wings. It was Dream! She had heard the noise and swooped down to help them. She hovered between Jorina and the unicorn and let out a wing. Jorina threw both Justyen and Gobbies on her back, as she leaped on Dream herself.

"Steviad, hang on!" Jorina shouted.

Steviad didn't look back, he kept running as fast as he could towards the stone ring. The dark unicorns horn was just inches away now. Dream grabs him just in time and the unicorn takes off in another direction disappearing into the shadows of the forest...

Dream drops off everyone at the stone ring, near Ice Castle. They are safe here for the time being. Fae drakes fly around the ring, protecting it from any corruption around, even anything that comes out of the castle. Steviad was leaned against a stone, sitting, holding Justyen in his lap. Gobbie and Jorina sit around them in a circle, as Dream lay behind them in the center of the stone ring.

"So, you came here to find corruption?" Steviad asked Jorina.

"Yes, I come from the Moon and came down here to destroy the darkness and evil creatures that inhabit this world." Jorina said.

"the Moon?" Steviad asks.

"Yes. Us cat people come from there, in a town called Lune. We are a very peaceful race."

"Interesting. Where are you headed now?"

"I am going to enter the castle next."

"What? But, I thought that place was very dangerous? You can't go alone."

"I know, but I must rid of this evil. I cannot just watch these creatures roam free causing chaos and harm."

"We will go with you then."

"Gobbies does not want to go in that castle!" Gobbie shouts.

"It's alright Gobbies, you should stay at the fairy village and protect them. I think Notail is still there." Justyen says.

"Very well, Justyen and Steviad can come with me. Gobbies, you must stay here with Dream and protect this forest and the fairy village." Jorina says.

"I wonder how my fairy village is doing, with Cakey and Craitziss. We've come so far..." Wonders Justyen.

"I know my love, I'm sure they are safe and protected. Gobbies will do the same for the village here, Notail should stay there too." Says Steviad.

"It's settled then, we will make camp here and move out in the morning, it's too dark to enter the forest or castle at night." Jorina says.

The adventurers made camp that night, and waited until morning to set out on their adventures to the castle. What dangers will they find in the ice castle? Will Gobbies, Dream and Notail be able to help defend the fairy village from any attacks? As long as Justyen and Steviad are together, no corruption or darkness will stop them in making their dreams of love come true.
