Lavender

Down at the mall, a young woman was browsing the latest CD albums of the popular groups. She had long, purple hair tied in a pair of twin tails that matched her purple eye colour and clothes under her grey vest.

"I wonder what to buy today?" she thought aloud before grabbing the latest Radiohead and Tool albums.

"Hey! Lavender!" a voice cried, as the purple turned and looked, seeing her friend come into the store.

"Tamara, sup!" Lavender said with a smirk. "Yo check it, got the latest hits, all right here." She showed the CD's she had picked out.

"Girl, hell nah, you need to be listening to Tupac, I've told you this before," Lavender's friend told her, scowling. "I thought you said you'd buy it."

"Well yeah, but you know me," Lavender laughed sheepishly. "C'mon, Tamara."

"Ugh, fine, you can get those. But you gotta listen to them at least."

"Maybe next time, come on," Lavender said, heading for the counter and pulling a wallet from her purse. Tamara sighed and hung behind as Lavender paid the CD's and left.

"So what now?" Tamara asked.

"Gotta head to the Triple C."

"That club for you car-folk?"

"Sorry. Come on, we'll do some beach volleyball in July with the rest of the gals, cool?"

"Alright, we're cool," Tamara sighed. Lavender laughed and jumped into the road, transforming into a blackberry coloured Saturn S-series coupe. "Watch for traffic, dumbass."

"I am the traffic!" Lavender declared through her stereo before driving off. Tamara sighed once more before giggling.

"Guess I better head home." As Tamara walked home, Lavender was driving into the seaport area before transforming into her human form and walking toward one of the larger warehouses and outside was a woman wearing all yellow clothing.

"Hey Bonnie," Lavender said, walking up to her.

"Hey, Lavender, long time no see," Bonnie said, also responding with a secret handshake. "Head on in, they're waiting for ya," she knocked on the garage door and it opened. Lavender changed back into her car form and drove inside. There wasn't a lot going on inside as two girls were sitting on old couches reading manga.

"Just the two of you today again, huh?" Lavender asked. One of them, a purple-coloured Subaru Legacy wagon looked away and sighed. Her friend, a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee smiled.

"Ah, hey, Lav," the silver one said. "How are things?"

"Eh, they're okay, Cher. Still too shy Becca?"

"I told you, my name's Rebecca," Rebecca pouted shyly. Cher stood up to pat Rebecca on the head.

"You're adorable. You know, if both of you were more outgoing, you'd have a real club on your hands, and not just a bodyguard standing outside."

"Hey, Bonnie's plenty helpful," Cher said.
