Chapter 1

The rhythmic tick of the clock echoed in my ears against the stony silence of the room. No one dared to even sneeze against this quiet, incase they shatter the silence.

Sadly this ritual was scheduled at the same time every day. At 8:15 sharp I would promptly enter the classroom late. 15 minutes after the tardy bell I would happily take my seat at the back of the class and ignore the awestruck stares and puddles of drool to take my seat at the back of the class. Today though…..was different…..there was someone in my seat.

Her dark hair flowed In waves over her shoulders and hid her face as she bent over furiously scribbling something down onto paper. She was oblivious to her mistake, and didn't even spare me a glance up as I approached her.

She smelt like lavender and honey. That was the only thing running through my mind as I bent my head down to her level and whispered in her ear.

"You're in my seat bitch," I cooed sweetly.

I could practically feel the heat of her blush.

She stammered out a broken apology and scrambled to gather her things and move to the only other open chair, which was conveniently located behind me.

I smirked triumphantly as I sat down, reclining back and relaxing as Ms. Hood started her daily lecture on the importance of punctuality and awarded me a nice stay in lunch detention for my great timing skills.

"Perfect," I thought, "the last thing I need is to be stuck in a crowed, noisy, human filled room for an extra hour today."

A small growl started in my chest as I thought of the possibility of being stuck in that lunch room again…..all eyes pointed, staring daggers in my direction.

Yea…..no, don't think i'll doing that again, once dance with death is enough for me.

I began to space out after that, my mind swiping past that uncomfortable memory to ponder over other things, all while pretending to pay rapt attention to whatever boring shit was droning on about.

I was in the middle of planning a comeback to use at my monotonous, irritating teacher when I just couldn't take it anymore. You think i'd be used to the staring by now but this chick was just trying to burn a hole through my head. It was if she was just poking me with her eyes, daring me to turn around and meet her stare. I bit back a growl and whirled around meet her gaze.

I opened my mouth to tell her that she should just-…

"Oh shit."

 She was….. absolutely breathtaking.

I tried hard not to stare as she as she entered class, but the effort was futile.

She strutted into the room with a satisfied smirk that told you she knew she was late but couldn't be bothered to care. Her hair was chopped at shoulder length, golden blonde strands falling in front of her face and swaying in front of those piercing blue eyes.

I managed to rip my eyes away from her when I saw those bright blue orbs start to turn my way. I quickly bent my head down and went back to writing, trying to seem as busy as possible. I tensed as I heard her start towards my desk. Her steps were slow and lazy as she approached, noisy against the silence of the room.

I swallowed hard as I felt her stop beside me. My heart thudded rapidly as I felt the warmth of her body draw near.

"You're in my seat bitch," She whispered.

My heart stopped at the sound of her voice and I hesitated a moment before blushing 50 shades of red and moving as quickly as my short legs could carry me.

Once situated at my new desk I tried not to move…..or breath, or do anything that could possibly draw any attention to myself again because I was quite thoroughly mortified.

It wasn't that I had made the mistake of sitting in some strangers seat, normally that wouldn't bother me, but no I sat in HER seat. In the very first period of my first day I managed to develop a crush and embarrass myself in front of said crush, all in the course of five minutes or less……….thats gotta be some sort of world record.

I  stopped for a moment and internally face-palmed at my stupidity and reflected on my foolishness.

But of course two seconds later I was totally over it and my eyes were glued back on her, drawn to her like a freaking magnet.  My mom used to tell me staring at people for long amounts of time is rude…….but does it count if the person is extremely attractive? I feel like that should be a exception to the rule.

But She probably felt me staring because no more than a minute later she whirled around and…..

"Oh shit," she squeaked.

Then……. just as quickly she appeared, she left…….practically running out the door.

What the fuck?……….Did I have something on my face?
