In Etrion, magic exists within the world. There’s a legal guild known as Unchained Gods, the strongest guild in the world and is located in a town known as Flower Garden. A member of the guild, Thomas Summons, is a famous mage that creates whatever he wants from cards. But people call him Dark Knight. He works by himself so he could earn as much money for his position at Summons Inc.
On January 8, Z985, Thomas was on his way back from a job in Sesta Forest and in Flower Garden, a group of people that call themselves members of the guild, Unchained Gods appeared in the middle of town and the women and men fell in love with them and Thomas asked, “What to do? Maybe I’ll just go home. I’m tired after all.”
He walked to the guild and then heard the women screaming for them and Thomas grinned and yelled, “Shut up.”
Everyone heard that and the fakes looked at him and asked, “Who are you?”
Thomas looked at them and then walked away and they said, “Hey, do you know who you are walking away from?”
Thomas disappeared and everyone saw that and Thomas appeared in a restaurant eating and then the Princess of Etrion, appeared and asked, “Is that seat open?”
Thomas answered, “Yes it is. Have a seat if you want.”
The Princess sat down and said, “Thank you.”
Thomas said, “So you will pay. Thank you.”
She heard that and said, “This was a trap.”
Thomas said, “Not at all. I’m just joking. So, you are?”
She answered, “I’m the Princess of Etrion, Rebecca D. Etrion.”
Thomas said, “I see. I’m Thomas Summons. You might already know that because you are sitting right there. But people know me as Dark Knight.”
Rebecca heard that and said, “Thomas, well, let me get to the point.”
Thomas said, “I’m listening.”
Rebecca asked, “Would you mind coming to the castle with me?”
Thomas heard that and looked around and she asked, “What’s wrong?”
Thomas answered, “Nothing’s wrong. You asked me if I wanted to go to the castle with you. I’d love to. But that’ll have to wait.”
Rebecca heard that and asked, “Why? It’s an important matter.”
Thomas heard that and said, “I see. It is, huh.”
Rebecca said, “You’ll come right.”
Thomas said, “Yes. After I’m done with the matter of my identity. No one tries to act like me and gets away with it.”
They looked inside of the restaurant and saw him and started banging on the window and she screeched and Thomas looked at them and said, “There they are. The imposters.”
Rebecca heard that and they walked into the restaurant and walked toward Thomas and Rebecca and they said, “Please leave.”
Thomas looked at them and asked, “Why should I listen to you?”
The fake Dark Knight answered, “I own this restaurant. I’m Dark Knight.”
Thomas said, “Hey waitresses, come here.”
They did and asked, “What’s wrong, sir?”
Thomas asked, “Do you know these men?”
They answered, “No sir. Why do you ask?”
Thomas answered, “They say that he’s Dark Knight. You should know who Dark Knight is. He eats here everyday, right?”
They answered, “Yessir. He’s Dark Knight. Not you. Plus, we never met before.”
They heard that and Rebecca heard that and looked at Thomas and Thomas said, “Thank you for confirming it. Now please get out of my restaurant.”
They swung at him and Thomas felt that and the waitresses took out their magic weapons created by Summons Inc. and said, “Please leave.”
Thomas looked at the Rebecca and Rebecca saw his eyes and Thomas said, “You know what. Meet me outside now.”
Everyone heard that and Rebecca said, “You can’t be serious.”
Thomas finished eating and stood up and they 6 of them walked outside and Thomas looked at them and Rebecca walked outside and the waitresses said, “Sir, you didn’t pay.”
Thomas tossed a bag of money at them and they caught it and looked at it and said, “Good enough.”
Thomas grinned and they said, “So, you called us out. There is no way that you could defeat us all. We’re members of Unchained Gods.”
Thomas said, “Wrong, you are from, Pussy Teng and you just want to get laid. But you guys are ugly as hell. Look at these pecs that you wish that you had.”
They grinned and sent their magic at him and Thomas stood there and tossed a card at the magic and it stopped and Thomas smiled and sent out 5 dragons and said, “Water Dragon, Fire Dragon, Ice Dragon, Ground Dragon, and Zombie Dragon.”
The 5 dragons appeared and said, “Sir, you asked for us.”
Thomas said, “Defeat them now.”
They said, “Yessir.”
They started launching an all-out attack on them and Rebecca stared at Thomas and Thomas held his cards out and they were screaming and Rebecca asked, “If the word ‘Knight’ is in your name, does that mean that you are one of the Knights of Honor?”
Thomas answered, “Yes it does.”
Rebecca smiled and said, “I finally got to meet one.”
Thomas smiled and the dragons stopped and said, “They are knocked out sir.”
Thomas walked over to them and checked if it was true and lifted them up and put them in the restaurant and said, “Good job waitresses. You beat them up. Now call the Rune Knights.”
They said, “Yessir.”
Thomas looked at Rebecca and said, “Let’s go. My job is done.”
Rebecca said, “OK.”
They walked to the carriage and the guards started riding to Etrion and Rebecca said, “Thank you for coming along.”
Thomas said, “No problem.”
Rebecca said, “Well, as soon as we enter the castle, we’ll bring you to the throne room.”
Thomas asked, “Why? Am I becoming the King or something?”
Rebecca smiled and answered, “No. My father, the King of Etrion, will speak with you about something important?”
Thomas said, “I see. Why were you sent out here? Why not just the guards?”
Rebecca answered, “I came along because I wanted to see the world. That’s mostly the reason why I’m here.”
Thomas said, “I see. The royal life must be hard.”
Rebecca said, “It is. I don’t like it, but I have to deal with it as the only kid in the family.”
Thomas said, “I see. Not enough sex.”
Rebecca said, “My mom died giving birth to me.”
Thomas said, “I see. I’m sorry to hear that. My parents died turning me into a Dark Mage.”
Rebecca heard that and said, “But you aren’t a Dark Mage.”
Thomas said, “Nope. I’m a good guy.”
Rebecca asked, “How’d they die?”
Thomas answered, “The Rune Knights killed them after trying to use magic to defeat them.”
They heard that and said, “I see. But the project was fulfilled after they died.”
Thomas said, “Nope. Their lives were the source of turning me into what I am today.”
The carriage stopped and Rebecca looked out of the window and Thomas grabbed her and said, “Don’t look out of the window. You might die.”
The guards were screaming and Thomas grinned and Rebecca said, “I don’t want to die.”
Thomas smiled and said, “Don’t worry about a thing.”
Thomas stepped out of the carriage and everyone saw that and started to attack him, but Thomas snapped his fingers and the card turned into a sword and Thomas chopped the magic up and they saw that and yelled, “It’s Dark Knight. Retreat. I repeat, it’s Dark Knight. Retreat.”
Everyone started running and the guards looked at Thomas and Thomas walked back into the carriage and the carriage started going again and Rebecca hugged him and Thomas saw that and asked, “What’s the matter?”
Rebecca answered, “Please don’t let go of me. I’m scared.”
Thomas said, “I see.”
Thomas hugged her and said, “Don’t worry about a thing. I’m here for you.”
Rebecca heard that and looked up and saw a smile on his face and she started blushing and said to herself, “He’s so beautiful. I wonder if he’s got a girlfriend.”
The carriage stopped at a checkpoint and they walked to the door and said, “We’re at a checkpoint. We might be here for awhile.”
Rebecca said, “OK.”
The guards saw that he was hugging her and closed the door and Rebecca asked, “Why do you work in a guild? You are better off in the army for the King.”
Thomas said, “You think so?”
Rebecca answered, “Yes. You are strong and worthy of protecting the King.”
Thomas said, “Well, I don’t want to protect the King. I want to protect the world.”
Rebecca heard that and said, “But working for the King is protecting the world.”
Thomas said, “My job is to take out Dark Guilds. Yours is to rule the continent. Well, help rule the continent.”
Rebecca heard that and looked at him and asked, “Why won’t you join the army?”
Thomas answered, “Because I have a job. 1, Unchained Gods. 2, the CEO and President of Summons Inc. 3, I’m a member of the Knights of Honor. Most of that is located in Flower Garden. But Summons Inc is located in Etrion.”
Rebecca heard that and said, “What if we paid you?”
Thomas answered, “Nope. I have more money than you think. I own the biggest magic manufacturer in the world.”
Rebecca started crying and Thomas heard that and said, “Uh, please don’t cry. I didn’t mean anything by it. Please forgive me. But I can’t join the army. But I’d like for my company to work with the royal family.”
Rebecca heard that and looked at him and said, “Huh. Did you just say that you’d like it if your company would work with us.”
Thomas smiled and she started to squeeze him and she started choking Thomas and Thomas said, “I can’t weathe.”
Rebecca heard that and loosened up and said, “I’m so sorry. I can’t control myself.”
Thomas smiled and said, “Well then. We gotta get that under control then. You could kill someone.”
Rebecca said, “I know that. My father said the same thing.”
Thomas sighed and the guards opened the door and said, “Here is your meal.”
Thomas grabbed it and put his food on his lap and the guard said, “Please let go of him so you could eat.”
Rebecca said, “No. He’s mine. I can do what I please with him.”
Thomas heard that and said, “Huh. Have you lost your mind?”
The guard answered, “It seems that way. She’s already engaged to a rich man that has more leadership skills than you.”
Thomas said, “Good for you.”
Rebecca said, “No, I rather have Thomas.”
Thomas said, “I rather not. Having 4 occupations ain’t my style. 3 is good enough for me.”
Rebecca looked at him and gave him the puppy dog look and they saw that and said, “So adorable.”
Thomas said, “I’ll think about it.”
Rebecca smiled and said, “Thank you.”
Thomas said, “No problem, your highness.”
Rebecca said, “Please call me Rebecca, Thomas.”
Thomas said, “I can’t do that, your highness.”
Rebecca said, “Call me Rebecca, please.”
The guards looked at her and Thomas said, “OK. OK. I’ll call you Lady Rebecca.”
Rebecca said, “Just Rebecca.”
Thomas heard that and said, “You can’t be serious.”
The guard said, “She’s always serious.”
Thomas said, “She’s serious.”
Rebecca said, “Say it.”
Thomas said, “OK, Rebecca.”
Rebecca heard that and squeezed him again and Thomas said, “Rebecca, I wan’t weathe.”
Rebecca heard that and loosened her grip and said, “I apologise.”
Thomas took out her food and the guard said, “Enjoy yourself, your highnesses.”
Thomas said, “Thomas will do.”
Rebecca said, “Your highness is good enough for me.”
Thomas sighed and said, “You gotta be kidding me.”
The guard closed the door and handed her her food and she put it back on his lap and continued to hug him and Thomas said, “According to the way you put the food there, you want me to feed you.”
The guard heard that and Rebecca nodded and said, “Please do.”
The guard had tears flowing out of his eyes and the other guards saw that and asked, “What’s wrong?”
The guard answered, “His highness is feeding her highness.”
They heard that and appeared beside him and started listening in and Thomas took out her chicken sandwich and said, “An interesting taste you got here.”
Rebecca said, “Thank you. I love Black Chicken.”
They heard that and said, “Black panties. Awesome.”
Thomas heard that and smiled and Rebecca asked, “Why are you smiling?”
Thomas answered, “You got yourself some perverted guards out there. When you said Black Chicken, they imagined you in black panties.”
Rebecca heard that and started laughing and Thomas helped her eat her food and a huge worm appeared outside and the guards continued to imagine what she looked like in black panties and then the worm appeared in their imagination and screeched and then looked forward and saw the worm and yelled, “It wasn’t a dream.”
Rebecca heard that and asked, “What’s going on out there?”
Thomas smiled and answered, “Nothing.”
The worm said, “How much longer is this carriage going anytime soon?”
The guards answered, “Nope. We’re regenerating our magic power.”
The worm said, “I see. Then get away from the carriage you perverts.”
The guards said, “We’re not perverts. We were not imagining black panties.”
Rebecca heard that and said, “Those idiots. Kick the shit out of them.”
Thomas said, “Beat them up.”
The worm said, “Yessir.”
The worm flew toward them and started attacking the guards and Thomas heard that and continued to feed her and said, “They’ll be dreaming for awhile. So we’ll be stuck here longer than before.”
Rebecca said, “I’m ok with that.”
Thomas said, “Or I can just get us there leaving the guards behind.”
Rebecca said, “Nope. We’ll wait for them to wake up.”
Thomas heard that and said to himself, “I’m going to be stuck with her for a very long time. This is hell.”
Rebecca looked at him and asked, “Is something wrong, Thomas? Do you want to leave already?”
Thomas answered, “No, I never said that. Please stay calm.”
Rebecca heard that and said, “OK.”
6 hours later, it was nighttime and Rebecca fell asleep and the guards woke up and stood up and asked, “Where’s that damn worm?”
Thomas opened the door and whispered, “Be quiet, will ya? Her highness is sleeping.”
They heard that and looked at her and said, “We’ll leave early in the morning.”
Thomas said, “OK.”
The guards closed the door and went to sleep and Thomas smiled and dragons appeared surrounding the carriage and said, “I won’t allow you to die. I won’t allow you to be taken away. I will protect you till the very end of this journey.”
At 4 a.m., the Nightcrawlers appeared and looked around and Thomas smiled and said, “They are here guys. Appear.”
The dragons appeared and the leader of the group trying to kidnap Rebecca, Bert Bridges said, “Dammit. The Dark Knight is still with her. How damn far are they going to go with him?”
The guild master of Nightcrawlers, Silvano Floro said, “Don’t worry about it Bert. Retreat again. He’ll definitely be gone by tomorrow. If I’m wrong, then it’s not my fault. That just means that he’s going to the same location as her. Meaning the castle. We’ll get her there.”
Bert said, “Understood.”
They retreated and Thomas saw that within the dragon’s eyes and said, “Retreating for a 2nd time. Pussies.”
As soon as it turned 7 a.m., everyone woke up and Rebecca looked at Thomas and asked, “What happened?”
Thomas answered, “Nothing. You just fell asleep, that’s all. Get us some breakfast.”
Rebecca heard that and Thomas said, “That’s an order from her highness.”
Rebecca yelled, “It’s Rebecca to you. And get me breakfast.”
They said, “Yes ma’am.”
They ran to get her some food and said, “She’s pissed off this morning. I wonder why. Was it something that she dreamt about? Who knows?”
Rebecca looked at Thomas and Thomas asked, “Is something the matter, Rebecca?”
Rebecca answered, “I had this dream last night that you were going to leave me. Is it true?”
Thomas answered, “Nope. But you don’t mind if I go to the bathroom, right?”
Rebecca heard that and answered, “Not at all. Go ahead.”
Thomas exited the carriage and walked to the bathroom and then the guild master of Unchained Gods, Cosmas Anania called him and said, “Thomas, where you at, dog?”
Thomas heard that and said, “Please don’t call me ‘dog’. It seriously pisses me off.”
Cosmas said, “I’m sorry. But where are you?”
Thomas answered, “In a bathroom.”
Cosmas yelled, “Be more precise dammit.”
Thomas said, “I’m on my way to the castle.”
Everyone heard that and Cosmas asked, “What the hell are you going there for?”
Thomas answered, “It seems that the King wants a word with me. So I won’t be back for a while.”
Ice Queen heard that and started crying and Thomas said, “Oh, she’s crying. Someone give her a lapdance already.”
Everyone started laughing and Cosmas said, “Julia, please leave.”
Julia Holcomb said, “No. I miss you, Thomas. When are you coming home?”
Thomas answered, “I don’t know. And I really don’t care, Ice Queen.”
Julia heard that and said, “Don’t call me by my nickname. I want you to use my name Julia. You should know that.”
Thomas said, “Hm, ok Julia, what did you call me for, gramps?”
Cosmas answered, “The Magic Council just sent a message for your arrest. What did you do?”
Thomas answered, “I beat the shit out of some Rune Knights that impostered as me, Lightning King, Ice Queen, Fire Dog, and Fat Dragon. So they tried taking over my restaurant which I bought with my money. Then they smacked me, so I beat them up. You could ask the Princess of Etrion, she was there.”
Cosmas heard that and asked, “Are you with her now?”
Thomas answered, “Yep. It seems that some people are trying to kidnap her.”
Cosmas said, “So you are in the bathroom with her.”
Thomas said, “No. She’s in the carriage. Probably eating by now. But I just want to go home. She’s insane man.”
Julia asked, “As insane as me?”
Thomas said, “Worse.”
Cosmas said, “I feel bad for you.”
Thomas said, “I thought that Julia was insane. The Princess is twice as insane. She’s making me feed her. She doesn’t want to let go of my body. She wants me to call her by her name. She sleeps on me. There is no way in hell that I’m ever going to get any sleep. This is hell.”
Everyone laughed and said, “You’ll enjoy it. You enjoy it when Julia does it.”
Thomas said, “Go to Hell.”
Cosmas said, “Stay wary of the Rune Knights. They will hunt you down.”
Thomas said, “Hm, hunt me down, huh. That sounds interesting.”
The guards said, “We’re leaving sir.”
Thomas heard that and said, “OK. I’m almost done. I just need to wash my hands.”
The guards said, “Yessir.”
They walked back to the carriage and Thomas said, “I have to go now. Talk to you losers later.”
They heard that and yelled, “What did you say?”
Thomas hung up and Thomas washed his hands and then wiped them clean and walked back to the carriage entered it and said, “OK, let’s go.”
Rebecca looked at him and asked, “Is something wrong?”
Thomas answered, “No. Nothing’s wrong.”
Rebecca heard that and said, “You look sad.”
Thomas said, “I’m not sad. I’m just depressed.”
Rebecca asked, “Why?”
Thomas answered, “The girl I know wants me home. But I don’t want to be with her. She’s an asshole.”
Rebecca said, “I see. Do you love her?”
Thomas answered, “Nope.”
Rebecca said, “That means that you are still single, right?”
Thomas answered, “Yes, why do you ask?”
Rebecca asked, “Will you marry me?”
The guards heard that and Thomas looked at her and they yelled, “What?”
Rebecca screeched and asked, “Did I say something wrong?”
Thomas answered, “Yes. You are engaged already. You shouldn’t be cheating on him now.”
Rebecca heard that and said, “I know that. But all he has is leadership skills and wealth. You have wealth and strength. I like a man that would protect me. But not all of the time though.”
Thomas heard that and said, “I’ll think about it.”
The guards heard that and the Nightcrawlers appeared out of nowhere and so did the dragons and Thomas said, “So, what do you expect from me?”
Rebecca answered, “Marriage. No matter what you say, I will marry you.”
Thomas heard that and said, “You are an ass.”
Rebecca heard that and said, “You don’t like me anymore.”
Thomas heard that and asked, “What makes you say that?”
Rebecca answered, “You called me an ass. You hate me.”
Thomas said, “No I don’t. You are a lovely person. You should be happy with what you’ve got.”
Rebecca started crying and Thomas hugged her and Rebecca felt that and the tears stopped and Thomas whispered, “Please don’t cry. I’m here for you.”
Rebecca heard that and hugged him back and Thomas smiled and the guards stopped at the entrance to the castle and said, “We have arrived.”
Rebecca heard that and Thomas opened the door and stepped out of the carriage and then said, “Come on.”
Rebecca heard that and walked toward the door and the guards watched him and Thomas grabbed her waist and helped her down and Thomas smiled and said, “So this is what the castle looks like. First time seeing it up close.”
Rebecca smiled and said, “This is my first time leaving the castle. It was very scary.”
Thomas said, “Don’t worry about a thing. They are here to kidnap you.”
Rebecca heard that and said, “I don’t want that. I don’t want to leave dad.”
Thomas smiled at her and she asked, “Are you ready?”
Thomas answered, “Yep.”
