Amnesia

Once in a time, long, long ago there lie a castle, home to a prince. A young prince, handsome as can be, he was adored by all in the state. Woman gazed upon his very beauty with lust, swooning at the thought of what it would be if they were married to him. Men envious and jealous of his fame and fortune, wishing they too had his stature. The prince had his elegant blonde hair, his equally blonde eyes, and his home among head of nobility.

Our story begins here, with the prince residing in his throne, awaiting his loyal advisor, Kisenbo.

    "My Lord," she bowed.

"Kisenbo," his young highness responded. "What is it?"

    "Your fiance has arrived."

"Well then, why haven't you escorted her here?"

"Oh, my apologies My Lord, I shall escort here to your Royal Chambers right away."

"Get going. You know how I cannot stand the thought of being without my Princess Rin." The prince watched as Kisenbo hurried to fetch Princess Rin from her carriage awaiting outside. Both returned safe in front of the prince some many moments later. "Ah, my Princess Rin." Princess Rin had blonde hair, like the prince, with also equally blonde eyes. The young princess set her eyes upon the prince, wonder in her eyes.

"Who are... who are you?" she asked, the suddenly frightened prince.

"Rin? What are you saying?" he asked nervously, stepping down to her level. "Have you not received enough sleep? Are you well?"

"I am fine sir, but I do not remember your name."

"How could you, my Princess? I am your fiance Prince Len."

"I have no recollection of that name." Prince Len cried and fell back on his foot, aghast completely.

"Oh this is tragic!" Kisenbo declared. "Princess Rin has suffered amnesia! She has forgotten everything!"

"So she has," Prince Len said. He thought to himself for a moment.

"Prince Len," Princess Rin said. "I may not remember you, but I am more than willing to spend some time with you, so I can know you."

"Sure sure," the prince dismissed her. "But I have a suspicion, that Kisenbo is feigning to not tell me something."

    "Prince Len?" Kisenbo asked.

"I know you practice magic, Kisenbo. You cast amnesia on Princess Rin haven't you?" The Royal Guards leaned in, hearing the Prince's declaration.

"Surely Prince Len, I am forever loyal to you. I would never do something so heinous to your fiance."

    "You lie!"

"Prince Len, you are correct," Princess Rin said.

"Princess Rin? Have your memories returned to you?"

"No. But I do remember Kisenbo casting the spell on me. She was jealous that we're of noble descent, and she isn't."

"No!" Kisenbo yelled out in rage. "I cannot believe that I have been so foolish! I forgot to erase her memories of me casting the spell on her!"

"Royal guards, restrain her!" Prince Len said. Kisenbo was restrained by his loyal guards. "Kisenbo, I command you to restore her memories."

"As you wish, My Lord," Kisenbo spat. She waved her bound hand, and Princess Rin gasped, as her memories returned.

"Prince Len?" she asked, looking around. "What happened?"

"Nothing, my Princess," Prince Len said. "I just found out that my Loyal Advisor was not as Loyal as I had originally hoped."

"Ah. Hold on, why did I come to visit?"

"We were going to have a dinner feast, as Queen Hatsune will discuss our marriage."

"Ah. I see. Anyhow Prince Len, shall we make way for the dinner feast?" She held out her arm for her prince to take hold of.

"Yes, my Princess." The two of them walked toward the dinning hall. "Oh, and guards, off with Kisenbo's head."
