One Shot

As the healthy sun illumines her skin, her naive smile surprises your gentle heart. The refractive light rays from the river are glowing, dancing on her tempting skin.               Your impatient hand is quickly running on the horizontal pipe of railing — and unexpectedly you have reached her.

Both hearts feel awkward as she notices, yet flustered eyes embrace each other’s feelings.

Your hand slides gently on her gorgeous hair as your finger fondles up to her chin. Smiling, chatting, and poking using words vitally throw those against each other — suddenly, the two of you become friends.

As those days pass by; the mornings and nights — you have been coming by just to see her, whereas, she's always looked forward for you by those thin gaps of times you were away. Both of you have happily serenaded those turn-on and prickling harmony in the spacious garden of romance.

Above all, heaven is her social life; however, are you going to pretend? Only, you were born as just commoner. Your mystery can't escape forever since her agent knows your true, current state.

Months have passed, those emotions had bear fruit. Earth is rolling — a child was born and grew. Now, she can run, and play with some children. You and your lover watch her lively smile.

Days passed, and now she gives you a ring, a proposal for wedding — you and her. This stumped your dignity yet her smile, her eyes and your heart trash those pridefulness. Time comes, both of you dance in the wedding — a sacred marriage that can’t be broken — until eternally, one must slumber into the never-awakening dream.

Her work unintentionally hindered, woefully severed the tight of your hand as she flew to some part of the country. Later, a disturbing phone call pings you from one of your rubberneck relative. Your muscular shoulders are so heavy. Rare tears are now falling into the floor. You’re still sitting in front of the door — ignoring the intimate sympathy of your close neighbors, friends, and relatives; whereas, your child who has been hugging you from the day you were drowned into torment.

Trying to call her, hoping to hear her, the number you’ve dialed cannot be reached. What the heck! Where did you actually lack? Plenty of questions are echoing on your mind — searching and surfing to the bottom of your bottomlessness memories of her.

The door is eventually creaking open as the piercing light blinds your sleepless eyes. The hope begins to kindle and glow bright, yet only to find your child in ragged, every part of her body is covered by dirt. “Father, father, eat, eat, father,” she said gracefully, as she kneeled in front as she handed you the few foods from the plastic bag she has.

Tears, many tears are flowing from your eyes as you hug her — tightly and tightly — and reply, “Forgive me, my child… Now and forever, I’ll give my attention only for you.”
