In the year 2016, the Queen of Rabos appeared on Earth. She is a human being, like any other. But is capable of fighting on a completely different level than every other female in the world. She also brought with her, all of the Volt Weapons from the planet Rabos. They were spread out in the world for women to find. That was because only women were capable of wielding them. She got married to a man named Kratos Vasco, a doctor in fantasy weapons. He creates weapons for a living. So she started working with him and asked him to make more Volt Weapons, which he gladly agreed to help out. Women from all over the world started locating the Volt Weapons which were in volts hidden on Earth.
In the year 2095, the first human male was capable of wielding a Volt Weapon. The Volt Weapon actually chose him over any other person that tried to wield it. His name was Thomas Vasco and he’s been chosen by the Crimson Blood (a red sword that is thin in the beginning, but the stronger and better the master is with it, the bigger and better the sword gets). He was 10 years old at the time he found it and wielded it. But didn’t enter a school that was created for people wielding Volt Weapons till he was 15 years old which was 5 years after him picking up the Crimson Blood. In that 5 year period, Thomas was training under the best swordsman and swordswoman in the world.
After the 5 years were up, he went to his sister's grave and said, “I’m back Mirrita. It seems that I’ll be entering East Academy like you. And I’ll be the only male capable of wielding one as well. I wonder why.”
The sound of a helicopter started to approach him and Thomas put the flowers down in front of her grave and prayed before the helicopter landed and said, “I wonder what’ll happen to me.”
The spirit of Mirrita Vasco appeared and everyone in the helicopter saw that and said, “A ghost appeared.”
Mirrita said, “Thomas, don’t worry about a thing. Just don’t let yourself get killed by one of the girls. I’ve seen you train for this day for 5 years. You’ll do just great.”
Thomas said, “You really think so?”
Mirrita answered, “Yes. You trained under the best to get to where you are today. Do your best to survive in your new environment. I love you.”
Thomas smiled and said, “I love you as well.”
He stood up and turned around and looked at the helicopter and Mirrita whispered, “Don’t die now.”
Thomas said, “I don’t plan on dying.”
Mirrita’s spirit disappeared and the helicopter landed and then a girl stepped out and asked, “Are you Thomas Vasco?”
Thomas answered, “Yes I am.”
The girl said, “I’m here to pick you up. And to drop you off at East Academy.”
Thomas said, “I know. I’m prepared.”
The girl said, “Let me see your Volt Weapon before we go.”
Thomas took the Crimson Blood out and the girl looked at it and asked, “What is it?”
Thomas answered, “It’s known as Crimson Blood. It’s a red sword that is thin till the wielder of the weapon gets stronger.”
The girl asked, “What’ll happen when you get stronger?”
Thomas answered, “The sword grows along with me.”
The girl heard that and said, “Crimson Blood. Do you mind if I hold on to it?”
Thomas looked at Crimson Blood and it started blinking and Thomas answered, “I’m afraid that she doesn’t want to leave my side.”
The girl said, “She?”
Thomas answered, “Yep.”
The girl sighed and said, “Let’s get going then.”
Thomas said, “OK.”
They entered the helicopter and Thomas put the Crimson Blood away and the girl said, “Well, I’m the Student Council President at East Academy. My name is Zoey Fowler. It’s nice to meet you.”
Thomas said, “You already know my name, but I’m going to say it again anyway. I’m Thomas Vasco, it is an honor to meet you.”
Zoey smiled and said, “The honor is mine.”
Thomas looked at her and Zoey said, “Well, allow me to tell you a little about the rules at the school.”
Thomas said, “That would be helpful.”
Zoey said, “Yes it would. You cannot pick a fight with anyone. You could challenge them, but can’t attack them till the day or night of the match. You can’t rape a female.”
Thomas said, “I’m not that evil.”
Zoey said, “I bet that you aren’t. If the headmaster of East and West Academy is correct, you are single and straight.”
Thomas said, “I’m afraid so.”
Zoey said, “And I believe that you’ll cause a lot of mischief because you are the only male in the world capable of wielding a Volt Weapon.”
Thomas said, “I’m well aware of that ma’am.”
Zoey said, “The women might fall in love with you.”
Thomas said, “I bet that they will. But I have to say this, I have no regrets.”
Zoey laughed and said, “Just as she proclaimed, a man that has no regrets. What don’t you have?”
Thomas answered, “A girlfriend. A car. A sword worth using for practice swinging.”
The Crimson Blood heard that and started to electrocute him and Thomas started shaking and Zoey asked, “Are you alright?”
Thomas answered, “No, this sword has a mind of its own.”
Zoey laughed and said, “I bet that it does.”
The Crimson Blood stopped electrocuting him and Thomas fell sideways and said, “I can’t feel my body.”
Zoey said, “You should never betray your Volt Weapon.”
Thomas said, “I already know that. I’ve angered it plenty of times.”
Zoey heard that and 5 hours later, the helicopter arrived at East Academy and the Student Council Vice-President arrived outside and Zoey opened the hatch and Thomas walked outside of the helicopter and said, “So this is where my sister died, huh. This should be fun.”
Zoey heard that and the Student Council Vice-President said, “Welcome back, President.”
Zoey said, “Thank you Kina.”
Kina Kanda said, “No problem. Welcome to East Academy.”
Thomas said, “Thank you.”
Thomas looked around and Kina asked, “Are you ready for the tour?”
Thomas answered, “Yep. Whenever you are ready to show me around, I’m ready.”
Zoey said, “Let’s go then.”
As soon as she got off of the helicopter, the helicopter took off and Thomas looked at the school and they began the tour.
As soon as they got midway to the main office, a girl fell from the sky out of nowhere and Thomas looked ahead and Kina saw that and said, “So the 2nd years are going now.”
Zoey said, “So it seems. Tomorrow appears to be the 1st years turn to see who the strongest are.”
Thomas asked, “What are you two talking about?”
Zoey answered, “The festival. It’s a tournament to see who is the strongest this year.”
Thomas smiled and said, “Sounds like fun.”
The girl stood up and saw them and said, “A male. What is he doing here?”
Zoey answered, “He’ll be enrolling here.”
The girl said, “I doubt that he’s even capable of harming a female.”
Thomas looked at her and Zoey looked at Thomas and said, “Don’t think about it.”
Thomas smiled and said, “I don’t know what you are talking about.”
Kina heard that and said, “You truly are an idiot. You look like you are about to attack her.”
Thomas said, “If you say so.”
The other girl appeared that she is facing and the girl said, “Shit, she’s back.”
Thomas looked ahead of him and then Zoey said, “This must be the final two.”
Kina said, “They probably are the final two.”
The one in front of them turned her head and saw a boy and asked, “Why is he here?”
Thomas sighed and the girl in the back answered, “It seems that he’s enrolling here.”
Thomas said, “Hm, she looks like my sister. But doesn’t have blue hair. This is going to be one hell a year.”
Zoey looked at Thomas and said, “She looks nothing like your sister.”
Thomas said, “Hm, you really don’t think so?”
Zoey said, “I really don’t think so.”
Thomas sighed and waited there and the two girls continued to fight and Kina said, “Thomas, why are you really here?”
Thomas answered, “You don’t need to know that.”
As soon as they flew away, Zoey continued to take him to main office and then they fell on top of him and made him hit the ground head first and Kina and Zoey backed away and the smoke covered his body and Zoey asked, “Are you ok, Thomas?”
Thomas didn’t answer her and they fought while on top of him and Sister Charlotte saw that and said, “Damn, they are seriously trying to get themselves killed.”
Everyone heard that and asked, “Why do you say that?”
Sister Charlotte answered, “That was Thomas Vasco. According to what his sister told me, he is a swordsman that fights to the end of time.”
Everyone heard that and said, “He’s amazing.”
As soon as the smoke disappeared, they noticed that they were on top of him and laughed and jumped off of him and Thomas felt that and Kina asked, “Are you alright?”
Thomas answered, “I’m fine. Don’t worry about me.”
They continued their fight with each other and Zoey and Kina walked in and grabbed Thomas’ body and dragged him out of the way and Kina asked, “Why are you so reckless?”
Thomas asked, “How was I supposed to know that they were going to fall on me?”
Zoey answered, “He has a point, Kina. It’s not our fault. It’s our timing that was off.”
Thomas smiled and they appeared in front of the main office and Zoey knocked on the door and Sister Charlotte said, “Come in.”
They opened the door and carried him to a seat and left him there and Sister Charlotte said, “Welcome to East Academy, Thomas.”
Thomas smiled and said, “It’s good to be here, Sister Charlotte.”
Sister Charlotte said, “So you know who I am.”
Thomas said, “Yes I do. My sister talked about you all the time.”
Sister Charlotte smiled and said, “Your sister also talked about you a lot. What a troublemaker you are.”
Thomas laughed and took Crimson Blood out and put it in front of his face and then brought it down and the wounds disappeared and Sister Charlotte said, “So that’s your Volt Weapon.”
Thomas said, “Yep. Crimson Blood.”
Sister Charlotte looked at it and said, “To be the only male capable of wielding the Volt Weapons, how does it feel?”
Thomas answered, “Terrible. I want to go home.”
Sister Charlotte said, “But we did have an agreement. You would enroll into the school, if I gave you the name of the person that killed your sister.”
Thomas answered, “That was the agreement. I’m listening.”
Sister Charlotte said, “The person that killed your sister is….”
She was interrupted by the 2 females that crushed him into the ground and Thomas said, “Just when I was hoping to find something out.”
Sister Charlotte asked, “Could you 2 knock before breaking in here?”
They answered, “I won’t allow him to enroll here.”
Thomas said, “Give me the name of the murderer already.”
Sister Charlotte asked, “Why won’t you allow him to enroll here?”
Thomas answered, “That’s quite simple, Sister Charlotte. One of them was raped by a man and the other one hates men.”
They heard that and asked, “How do you know that?”
Thomas answered, “By your expressions, one of you are afraid to look at me and the other has an angry look on her face. Sister Charlotte, who the hell killed my sister? I’m still waiting for my answer.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Well, it seems that they interrupted us. So you have to wait.”
Thomas sighed and asked, “How about this? You two vs. me. You two win, I’ll leave to another academy. If I win, I’ll be here for a good 3 years. And hopefully I don’t die. That’s my sister’s wish.”
Sister Charlotte heard that and the two girls said, “Agreed. Today, right now.”
Sister Charlotte heard that and Thomas stood up and turned around and they saw that the blood was gone and said, “You gotta be kidding me. You were just bleeding.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Head to the arena ladies. This young man will meet you there.”
They smiled and said, “Yes ma’am.”
They walked there and Sister Charlotte said, “As I thought. The one that looked like your sister came first.”
Thomas said, “I thought so. She did look like her.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Follow me.”
Thomas said, “OK.”
Sister Charlotte took him to the changing room and said, “You would usually get dressed in here. Your grandfather came by and dropped this off. Clothes for you to wear for this academy.”
Thomas said, “Good enough.”
Thomas looked around and got undressed and Sister Charlotte said, “And the name of the person that killed your sister is Kelly Shelly.”
Thomas said, “Thank you.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Don’t mention it.”
Thomas got dressed and then the students entered the stadium waiting to see the match.
2: Two on One FightWhile they were waiting for the match to begin, Mirrita’s spirit appeared before Thomas and said, “Thomas, you really done it.”
Thomas asked, “What are you talking about?”
Mirrita answered, “You caused yourself trouble.”
Thomas said, “It was unavoidable.”
Mirrita said, “Yeah right, Thomas. You always say that. But this time you surely are wrong. You could have avoided it.”
Thomas sighed and said, “I guess that you are right. I could have just left East Academy.”
Mirrita heard that and said, “No, that wasn’t my point. You belong in East Academy. I went there and you are going there now. You should be happy about that.”
Thomas said, “I am happy. I just wish that you were here still.”
Mirrita smiled and said, “I wish that I was there with you as well, Thomas. But I died a little too early. So I want you to accomplish what I couldn’t accomplish. And that is to become number one in the entire school.”
Thomas smiled and said, “Become number one is a little too easy for me.”
Mirrita laughed and said, “Not really. The Student Council President and Vice-President are both monsters on a completely different level than everyone else. It’ll be hard to put them down. But to put everyone else down should be easy for you.”
Thomas said, “I see. How about Kelly Shelly?”
Mirrita heard that and said, “Let’s talk about her another time, Thomas. Just think about your match today. It’s a two on one match. You are all by yourself. Those two tried saving your ass, but in the end, you still get into conflict with them.”
Thomas smiled and said, “I’m afraid so.”
Mirrita said, “Oh well Thomas, good luck. We’ll talk again soon.”
Thomas said, “Thank you. And see you later.”
Mirrita said, “Yep.”
Mirrita disappeared and Thomas continued to wait.
Everyone in the stands asked, “When is the match going to start? It’s been 10 minutes already.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Sorry for the wait everyone. This is a match for one student to enroll into this school. And this person is the only boy that is capable of wielding a Volt Weapon. His name is Thomas Vasco. He will be versing Abigail Rowe and Agnes Butler as a tag team against him. It’s a two on one match. The strongest two 2nd year student which despise this young man from entering this school. Now please come on out.”
They walked out and everyone stared at Thomas and Thomas looked at the stands and saw that all of the students were watching and smiled and said, “This really is a predicament.”
Abigail asked, “Why do you say that?”
Thomas answered, “I didn’t expect them to be watching. But who really cares? It’s still a match between us.”
Agnes looked at Thomas and Thomas started walking around and Sister Charlotte rang the bell and they ran in separate directions and Thomas ran through the middle and Abigail saw how fast he went and turned toward him and swung her chains at him and Thomas turned around and swung his sword at the chains and the chains hit the ground and Thomas looked at the chains and then Agnes flew toward him and Abigail smiled and Thomas sighed and jumped over Agnes and kicked her back and the chains flew toward him and Thomas blocked them with his sword and said, “I’m not going to fall for that ladies. You gotta try harder to defeat me. A master swordsman.”
They heard that and Agnes felt the kick and said, “A kick that doesn’t hurt.”
Thomas heard that and Abigail said, “A man that doesn’t care about life.”
Thomas heard that and looked at them and said, “Huh. Am I missing something here?”
Agnes ran toward him and Thomas grinned and saw that the chains were still there and Thomas swung the chains to the side and swung at Agnes and Agnes ducked and swung upwards at him and Thomas smiled and closed his eyes and said, “A loss that might make history in the making.”
Agnes heard that and the blade hit his throat and Thomas flew back a little and landed on his stomach and they looked at him and Thomas stood up slowly and blood gushed out of his throat and Thomas smiled and the Crimson Blood started blinking and Thomas smiled and asked, “Should I cheat and heal myself? Or die in battle? Either way, I won’t forgive myself. And my sister wouldn’t forgive me.”
They looked at him and Sister Charlotte said, “You monster.”
Thomas looked at them and put his arm out and then went into one of his stances and they saw that and Agnes ran toward him and Thomas disappeared with a smile on his face and the Crimson Blood saw that and Thomas appeared in the middle of the arena and the two of them saw that and Thomas grinned and spun his body around and a tornado appeared and they looked at it and Agnes and Abigail flew into it and then Thomas stopped spinning and then walked out of the tornado that was fading and blood gushed out of his arms and Thomas dropped his sword and Crimson Blood saw that and as soon as the tornado disappeared, they flew to the ground and the chains hit Thomas’ side and Thomas flew into the wall and Thomas coughed out blood and Crimson Blood looked at him and Agnes and Abigail stood up slowly and asked, “Where’d he go?”
They looked at the wall and saw that Thomas was hanging there and blood was coming out of him and Thomas grinned and started moving and Agnes sighed and said, “He’s not giving up.”
Thomas ran toward his sword and Crimson Blood saw that and Abigail swung her chains at him and Thomas jumped over the chains and rolled over toward his sword and grabbed it and swung at Agnes and Agnes felt the sword and she collapsed and Thomas stood up and ran toward Abigail and she said, “Impossible.”
Thomas coughed out blood and said, “This hurts like a bitch. I don’t even know how much longer that I could keep this up.”
Abigail swung at him and Thomas looked at the chain and put the sword behind him and the chain was stopped by his sword and Mirrita’s spirits voice appeared in his head saying, “You die Thomas, I’ll never forgive you.”
Thomas grinned and appeared behind Abigail and Abigail turned her head slowly and Thomas put Crimson Blood away and Abigail fell down and Thomas looked up and said, “The pain can finally end.”
Agnes said, “Not yet.”
Thomas heard that and said, “Shit.”
They ran toward each other and started swinging at each other and everyone started cheering and Agnes smiled and Zoey said, “Even after we save you from them, you end up fighting them. Shit man. You are a pain in the ass.”
Kina said, “I agree.”
Sister Charlotte looked at them and scratches started to appear on them and Thomas grinned and Agnes said, “You truly are a monster.”
Thomas said, “So are you.”
Agnes smiled and said, “I guess that I am.”
Thomas smiled and then Agnes fell 4 minutes later and said, “I can’t go on any longer.”
Thomas looked at his arm and Sister Charlotte said, “The match is over. The last person standing is the bleeding monster, Thomas Vasco.”
Thomas looked at his arm and said, “I can’t move my arm.”
Agnes smiled and said, “Well, I can’t move my body right now.”
Thomas moved his left arm and grabbed the sword and put it by the front of his head brought it down and all of his wounds disappeared and everyone saw that and Thomas said, “I’ll never cheat in a fight.”
Thomas put his sword over Agnes’ body and brought it downward and her wounds healed and then Thomas walked over to Abigail and then healed her and Kratos said, “It seems that my grandson is stronger than I thought.”
Sister Charlotte asked, “Did you doubt that he would defeat them?”
Kratos answered, “With those odds, hell no. But he showed me that his life isn’t important to him. But I wonder where he found that weapon.”
Thomas answered, “Italy. Somewhere in Italy.”
Kratos heard that and said, “You were in Italy.”
Thomas said, “Yep. Then went to Japan after Mirrita’s death. Trained under the best swordsman and swordswoman in the world. But not using my Volt Weapon though. I borrowed a sword from them. They also have a goal for me to accomplish. And that is to become the best swordsman in the world. My sister wants me to become the number one Volt Weapon possessor which she could never be. And I bet that you sure as hell want me to do something. Name it pretty boy.”
Kratos said, “First off, stop talking to your grandpa like that. Second off, I do want you to do something. Become the strongest Volt Weapon possessor in the world. Meaning that you have to surpass the strongest of the strongest people in the world that have the Volt Weapons.”
Thomas sighed and said, “Shit. That’s a hell of an accomplishment that you want from me.”
Kratos said, “Well, I expect a lot from you. You are the last remaining member of my family. So I have high hopes for you. To survive and overcome all of your enemies.”
Thomas smiled and Sister Charlotte said, “Well, because you won your match against those two that you asked for. You can enroll into the school.”
Thomas put his Crimson Blood away and said, “Hehehe.”
Sister Charlotte said, “You seem happy.”
Thomas smiled and said, “I might be happy. I might not be.”
Thomas walked away and Kratos said, “You won’t get a lot out of him.”
Sister Charlotte said, “I guess not.”
Everyone started leaving and Thomas looked around and then walked back to the arena and said, “Sister Charlotte, where am I sleeping? I want to sleep.”
Sister Charlotte smiled and answered, “You’ll find your room in the girl’s dormitory.”
Thomas heard that and said, “Huh. Me. Sleeping in a place for girls. Save me.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Jessica Glove, show Thomas his room please.”
Jessica said, “Yes ma’am. Follow me please.”
Thomas said, “Sure thing.”
Jessica took him to his room and Thomas saw a name above his name and said, “Jessica Glove. Huh, we’re roommates.”
Jessica said, “Yep. Don’t do anything dirty to me now.”
Thomas said, “Shit. I guess that I can’t complain.”
Jessica heard that and Thomas walked into the room and went to sleep automatically and Jessica saw that and looked at him and said, “Goodnight.”
Thomas said, “Goodnight.”
Jessica walked away and closed the door and Kratos said, “He literally went to sleep as he said he would. I don’t believe him at all. Him becoming the best in anything. He’s just worthless.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Don’t say that. Your grandson overcame the odds that were against him. Which you could never do.”
Kratos said, “You are right about that. Oh well, I guess expecting stuff from him could wait.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Yep.”
3: The Male That Assaults Women to Get to Thomas5 hours later, it was nighttime and a nightmare appeared in Thomas’ sleep and it was about a man assaulting women in East Academy.
As soon as he saw that, Sister Charlotte opened the door to Thomas’ room and saw that Thomas was sleeping in his room and Thomas woke up and rose up fast and Sister Charlotte asked, “What’s wrong?”
Thomas answered, “It seems that you are here for the same reason why I woke up.”
Sister Charlotte heard that and asked, “What would that reason be?”
Thomas answered, “There’s a man in this school right now assaulting women.”
Sister Charlotte heard that and said, “Check on your roommate.”
Thomas looked at her and saw a bruise on her face and said, “He was here.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Shit.”
The man heard that and Thomas looked at the bottom of her bed and said, “Man, I was really looking forward to a good nap. But now I have to deal with this problem.”
Sister Charlotte said, “You deal with it, I’ll tell your teacher to give you a daily grade for the day.”
Thomas said, “Really.”
Sister Charlotte answered, “Nope.”
Thomas got dressed and exited his room and Sister Charlotte closed the door and the man that was underneath Thomas’ bed got out from underneath his bed and exited the room through the door and walked to the next room and opened the door and the girls in that room screamed and Thomas heard that and ran over to them and they yelled, “Thomas, you pervert.”
The man smiled and went to slap her, but Thomas appeared and grabbed his arm and the man felt that and said, “You really are a fast one, Thomas.”
Thomas asked, “Who are you? And why are you assaulting women?”
The man answered, “I’m not going to tell you anything. Because you are already dead.”
Thomas heard that and the man turned around and punched him in the face and Thomas brought his head forward and headbutted him and the man flew to the ground and Thomas grabbed his leg and threw him out of the room and made him hit the wall of the other side of the dormitory and Thomas said, “Hm, if you won’t tell me your name, then I’ll beat the shit out of you for it.”
The man laughed and the man appeared underneath him and uppercutted his crotch and Thomas felt that and collapsed and the women saw that and said, “Ouch. That’s gotta hurt.”
The man stood up and said, “OK Thomas. You want to know who I am. Well, I’ll tell you who I am. I’m Travis King. Your enemy.”
Thomas laid there holding his crotch and said, “That hurt. You’ll regret that.”
Travis laughed and ran toward the women and Thomas grabbed Travis’ foot and pulled and Travis fell to the ground hard and Travis screamed and Travis smiled and said, “Kelly was right about you. Even with intense pain, you never give up. Just like those people in WWE. They continue till they can’t go anymore.”
Thomas heard that and said, “Kelly, as in Kelly Shelly?”
Travis said, “Yep. She’s one hell of a boss man. Injuring Mirrita Vasco’s little brother is her top priority, right now.”
Thomas smiled and stood up and said, “Then I’ll start with you.”
The women heard that and Thomas took out his Crimson Blood and Travis said, “You gotta be kidding me. You aren’t thinking about killing me, are you? In front of all of these witnesses.”
Thomas answered, “I am. I have no regrets.”
Jessica woke up and asked, “Why does my face hurt?”
Thomas heard that and Travis answered, “Thomas slapped the shit out of it.”
Thomas sighed and swung at Travis and Travis ducked and kicked Thomas’ leg and Thomas put his sword away and punched his ribs and Travis lowered his body and Thomas stood up and elbowed his back and Sister Charlotte looked at Thomas and Travis hit the ground hard and Travis screamed and Thomas looked at him and Travis said, “You’ll never be able to kill Kelly Shelly. Plus, your sister was a whore.”
Sister Charlotte heard that and Travis said, “She would have sex with any man that she thought was worthy of her.”
Jessica heard that and Thomas stood back and said, “First off, stop talking about my sister like you know her. Second off, your fate has been decided just now. Death.”
Travis heard that and stood up and Thomas punched him, but Travis caught his fist and Jessica looked at Thomas and Travis started attacking Thomas and then slammed his head into the wall as hard as he possibly could and Thomas flew to the ground after that and Thomas looked at Travis and Travis grinned and called Kelly and Kelly asked, “What is it?”
Travis said, “You were right boss. Thomas truly is a piece of work.”
Kelly said, “So the plan of assaulting the women worked.”
Travis said, “I’m afraid so.”
Kelly said, “Well, how strong is he?”
Travis answered, “Without a Volt Weapon, he’s a monster. With a Volt Weapon, he’s a bloodthirsty monster. He really wants you dead.”
Kelly laughed and said, “Put him on.”
He put the phone by Thomas’ ear and Kelly asked, “Is this Thomas Vasco?”
Thomas answered, “Yes i-i-i-it is.”
Kelly said, “Well, you sound like shit. Your death is a dead certainty.”
Thomas laughed a little and said, “If you say so.”
Kelly heard that and said, “You will die by me. Not him.”
Thomas said, “Good.”
Kelly smiled and said, “See you later kid.”
Thomas said, “Yep. See you later.”
Travis picked up the phone and Kelly said, “You really did a number on him.”
Thomas grabbed his leg and pulled again and Travis hit the ground hard and Travis grunted and said, “Shit that hurt. I have to call you back.”
Kelly said, “Have fun with him. Just don’t kill him.”
Travis said, “Yes ma’am.”
Travis stood up and turned around looking at an unharmed Thomas and Travis saw that and said, “You gotta be kidding me.”
Thomas kicked his crotch and Travis fell to the ground hard and Thomas started attacking him and then Travis disappeared and appeared behind Thomas and took out his Volt Weapon known as Unknown King. A sword that was like the Excalibur, but a little different.
Thomas turned around and Travis swung at him and Thomas took out his Crimson Blood and blocked his attack and they started swinging at each other and Jessica said, “Thomas is fighting for us, right?”
Sister Charlotte said, “Nope, he’s fighting for his sister right now.”
Jessica asked, “Why? I heard about what happened to her. But why?”
Sister Charlotte answered, “That man just insulted her in front of him. You do that, you might regret it.”
Jessica asked, “Why?”
Sister Charlotte answered, “Thomas cared for his sister dearly. After her death, he cried for about a month straight. According to his sister, Thomas is nothing more than a tool to the family. But she thought of him as an actual family member which made Thomas happy. So he fell in love with her.”
Thomas hit Travis and Travis grinned and said, “Dammit. I was really hoping that you would stay down. But I forgot that you never give up till you die.”
Thomas said, “Yep. I already got a broken neck. So let’s see what you’ve got.”
Jessica heard that and Travis swung at his shoulder’s and Thomas ducked and stabbed his stomach and Travis felt that and backed away and started running through the girls room and Thomas chased him and said, “I’m sorry ladies.”
Thomas tackled him out of the building windows and flew to the ground from 3 stories high and Travis started screaming and Thomas grinned and they looked out of the window and Travis looked at Thomas and they both landed on the ground pretty hard and Travis grinned and stood up slowly and ran away and said, “This isn’t over, Thomas. See you later.”
Thomas coughed out blood and laid there without any movement and said, “H-H-Help m-m-me.”
Sister Charlotte appeared above his body and saw the blood splattered everywhere and said, “Doc. Help the poor kid out.”
Thomas looked at her and the nurse appeared and put him on the stretcher and Jessica said, “He’s insane. He threw himself out of a 3 story building.”
The women nodded and Jessica said, “I’m going back to sleep.”
The girls said, “We’ll continue getting ready to sleep.”
They went separate ways and the nurse started working on him and Thomas looked at her and she said, “I’m Azami Kishi. It’s nice to meet you sir.”
Thomas said, “Li-Li-Li-Likewise.”
Azami said, “Don’t force yourself to speak. You might actually kill yourself.”
Thomas heard that and stayed silent.
Azami said, “You landed on your head pretty hard. You might have suffered a severe concussion. You should be capable of talking tomorrow morning. Get some rest, Thomas.”
Thomas heard that and closed his eyes.
While the Azami worked on him, Travis appeared in front of Kelly and Kelly asked, “What happened to you?”
Travis answered, “He’s insane. He tackled me out of a 3 story building.”
Kelly said, “He’s not dead, right.”
Travis said, “Nope. He was still alive when I last saw him.”
Kelly said, “Good. Never pull off a stunt like that again.”
Travis said, “I think that he was a little surprised when he saw my Volt Weapon.”
Kelly said, “I bet that he was Travis. He thought that he was the only one capable of wielding one. But you’ve been holding yours for 2 years now and perfected it in a year.”
Travis said, “But Thomas had his for 5 years and mastered it in only a day.”
Kelly heard that and said, “Impossible. That’s just impossible.”
Travis said, “He’s been training under the best swordsman and swordswoman to get to where he is today with a sword.”
Kelly said, “Shit. But that doesn’t change the fact that I’m better than him. I killed his sister after all.”
Travis said, “Yes you did.”
4: The Awakening of a Dead ManWhile Azami was working on Thomas, to fix him, he died.
Azami said, “It can’t be, this never happened to me before. I’m always capable of saving people. This is my first time failing to do so. What am I going to do?”
That happened at 10 a.m. and as soon as his roommate went to visit him, Azami walked to the door and asked, “Who is it?”
Jessica answered, “Thomas’ roommate.”
Azami said, “Thomas is not available still. I’m afraid that he’s never going to be available again.”
Jessica heard that and asked, “What do you mean by that?”
Azami answered, “Thomas Vasco is dead.”
Sister Charlotte heard that and opened the door and asked, “What do you mean that he’s dead?”
Azami looked out there and said, “You aren’t his roommate. You are the headmaster of East and West Academy.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Jessica, come on in.”
Jessica heard that and walked in and said, “Hello. Is Thomas ok?”
Sister Charlotte asked, “Weren’t you listening when she said that Thomas is dead?”
Jessica answered, “Nope. I’m so tired. I didn’t get any sleep last night. I couldn’t stop thinking about Thomas if he was going to be alright or not. It seems that he’s not alright then.”
Azami shook her head and said, “Not at all. But I have good news though. I called the best doctor in the world. She is capable of bringing the dead back to life. If you know who I’m talking about, then we all know that his days aren’t over yet.”
Sister Charlotte asked, “When will she be here?”
Azami answered, “5 days. So on Monday.”
Sister Charlotte asked, “Why so long?”
Azami answered, “She’s working till Monday. Then she’ll come back to East Academy for the rest of her life. Well, till she retires.”
Sister Charlotte said, “OK. You can wait 5 days, right Jessica?”
Jessica answered, “Yep. But I don’t know about the others.”
Azami heard that and said, “She has a point.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Well, just keep them occupied.”
Azami said, “Understood.”
They left and Azami looked at Thomas’ body and said, “A broken nose, broken neck, broken backbone, and a broken tailbone, but also had a fractured arm and both legs along with two sprained ankles. This man injured himself pretty badly. No wonder why he’s dead.”
While they were waiting for her to appear, Thomas’ spirited away body is with his sister right now.
Mirrita said, “So you killed yourself instead of dying by someone else’s hands.”
Thomas said, “Don’t give me that. Listen carefully. I’m not the only man capable of wielding a Volt Weapon.”
Mirrita heard that and asked, “What are you talking about?”
Thomas answered, “Travis King, one of Kelly Shelly’s bitches came to injure me. So I fought him to the extent of him taking out his Volt Weapon.”
Mirrita heard that and said, “Travis King. The husband of the Life Bringer.”
Thomas said, “The nurse that brings the dead back to life right.”
Mirrita said, “Yep. But Travis hates that. So he sided with your sworn enemy to hurt people instead of help them. Which caused her to be the person she is today and works all day and night to just help people live.”
Thomas said, “Yep, I figured that. Well, she’ll be there in 5 days to bring me back.”
Mirrita smiled and said, “So this isn’t permanent then.”
Thomas answered, “Nope. Even grandfather has a goal for me to accomplish.”
Mirrita said, “Let me guess, become the number one Volt Weapon possessor.”
Thomas said, “Yep. So he wants me to defeat the strongest people in the world.”
Mirrita said, “Yep. Well, everyday in Heaven is 5 days on Earth.”
Thomas heard that and said, “So we’re here for a 120 hours.”
Mirrita answered, “Nope. We’re having like a normal day on Earth, but it’s about 30 hours instead of 24 hours.”
Thomas heard that and said, “So 30 more hours till she arrives to bring me back from the dead then.”
Mirrita answered, “Yep. Or you wake yourself up before she revives you.”
Thomas said, “That could be possible too.”
Mirrita said, “If I was capable of coming back to Earth Thomas, what would you do?”
Thomas heard that and answered, “I don’t actually know anymore. I’m so used to living alone that I don’t know. I haven’t actually thought about it. I’ve been having these nightmares that keep me thinking about different things. But they are all real events that’ll happen sooner or later.”
Mirrita heard that and said, “Just because of my death.”
Thomas answered, “Yep.”
Mirrita said, “I’m sorry.”
Thomas said, “Don’t be. I could save a lot of people with these nightmares. I’m actually quite glad about this ability.”
Mirrita said, “Now that’s harsh. You are glad that you got it. But I’m the cause of you getting it. And I’m dead, so you have no respect for the dead now.”
Thomas said, “If you say so.”
Mirrita said, “Well, you make it sound like you hate me.”
Thomas said, “I would never say that I hate you. As a parting gift from you, you gave me the ability to see the future and the present times. You and I are saving people everyday.”
Mirrita heard that and looked at him and started crying and hugged him and Thomas smiled and hugged her back and said, “It’s ok to cry. But shouldn’t I be the one crying?”
Mirrita asked, “Why zhu you ashk hat (Why do you ask that)?”
Thomas heard that and asked, “What were you trying to say? Wait, I can probably figure that out. ‘Why do I ask that?’ is what you wanted to say? The answer to that is quite simple. I get to meet my deceased sister again after 5 years. And your spirit form doesn’t count as a human body. Because I can’t touch it.”
Mirrita heard that and said, “You are right about that, Thomas. I missed you so much.”
Thomas said, “I missed you more.”
Mirrita said, “No, I missed you more.”
Thomas said, “We missed each other, which is good enough.”
Mirrita said, “Yep.”
Thomas smiled and then an Angel appeared before them and said, “Hello Mirrita and Thomas Vasco. You already know who I am Mirrita, but this is my first time approaching you. I’m Michael, it’s nice to have you here. I already know that the Life Bringer is coming to wake you up in 5 days.”
Thomas said, “Thank you.”
Michael said, “No problem. You have been out of Heaven's Gate for 5 years, Mirrita. If you want to go back to Earth, you should go back.”
Thomas heard that and Mirrita looked at Thomas and Michael said, “She made a deal with my father if she stayed in Heaven for 5 years, she would go back to Earth. But she hasn’t even stepped foot in Heaven since that day.”
Thomas smiled and said, “Sounds like her.”
Michael heard that and asked, “What do you mean by that?”
Mirrita answered, “I hate deals. You make a deal with me, I usually break it on the first day.”
Mirrita said, “You gotta be kidding me.”
Thomas said, “I’m not kidding you. She’s not kidding you, I mean.”
Michael sighed and said, “Damn, we were giving you a chance to be back with your brother and you won’t take it.”
Mirrita said, “I was actually thinking about it. But he doesn’t need me to protect him anymore. He could protect himself.”
Michael said, “That is true as well. But the goals he has to put up with will never happen.”
Mirrita said, “If you put your mind to it, then he’s capable of making miracles.”
Michael heard that and asked, “What type of miracles could he make?”
Thomas answered, “I can tell the future of future events by having nightmares. Which keeps me awake all night.”
Michael heard that and said, “I see. That is one hell of a gift.”
Thomas said, “She gave it to me.”
Michael said, “That’s a harsh gift to give him.”
Mirrita said, “I died and he got nightmares for the rest of his life. That’s all there is to it.”
While they were talking, 4.9 days later, a helicopter arrived on the helipad in East Academy. Zoey and Kina appeared and waited for the person to exit the helicopter and the hatch opened and a girl appeared. They looked at the beautiful being that walked off of the helicopter and asked, “Who might you be?”
The girl answered, “I’m the Life Bringer. Also known as Jennifer King.”
They heard that and asked, “Why are you here?”
Jennifer answered, “I’m starting work here today. Also there’s a patient in the nurse’s office in need of help.”
Zoey heard that and said, “No one is allowed in there except for Azami.”
Azami appeared and said, “Follow me Jennifer.”
Jennifer said, “OK.”
Zoey asked, “What are you doing here?”
Jennifer answered, “I’m the one that called her here. So I’ll be the one to take her to nurse’s office.”
Kina said, “But you said that no one is allowed to enter there.”
Azami said, “Only students aren’t allowed to enter.”
Zoey said, “That’s why there haven’t been any fights lately. No one’s allowed in the nurse’s office. Shit.”
Azami said, “Well, they are the Student Council President and Vice-President. They are friendly, but are also stronger than everyone else in this school by a lot. The only person capable of taking them out right now is the newest student here, Thomas Vasco.”
Jennifer heard that and said, “Thomas Vasco, huh. Where is he now?”
Azami answered, “Dead. Waiting for you to appear.”
Jennifer said, “I see. How long has he been dead?”
Azami answered, “4.9 days now. The same day I called you.”
Jennifer said, “I see. Why didn’t you say so on the phone?”
Azami answered, “I did say that he was dead. You were probably not paying attention.”
Jennifer said, “Oh well, let’s get this over with.”
They walked to the nurse’s office and Jennifer started working on him as soon as they entered the nurse’s office and in Heaven, Thomas felt that they were working on him and said, “It seems that they’ve begun treatment.”
Mirrita heard that and said, “Good for you Thomas. Well, your time is almost up. Just give me a kiss before you go back.”
Thomas sighed and kissed her goodbye and she said, “Well, I’m going to go back to Heaven, Thomas. See you in 5 years.”
Thomas said, “See you later.”
Mirrita smiled and walked away and Michael saw that and said, “You really are a piece of work, Thomas. But you got her to go back to Heaven.”
Thomas said, “Well, I’m about to go back to Earth sir. It was nice meeting you.”
Michael put his hand out and Thomas shook it and said, “Hopefully we meet again, but on better terms.”
Michael said, “I agree. Come back whenever you want. But not dead next time.”
Thomas laughed and said, “I can do that.”
Michael answered, “Yes you could, Thomas. Here is a key to Heaven. Whenever you want to come by, just tap the ground 3 times and a portal will appear in front of you. See you around kiddo.”
Thomas said, “See you around man.”
Michael disappeared and Thomas put the key away and 15 minutes later, Thomas opened his left eye and Jennifer smiled and asked, “How are you feeling, Thomas?”
Thomas answered, “Good. How about you, Mrs. King?”
Jennifer said, “You don’t sound happy to see me.”
Thomas said, “Let’s just say that your husband paid me a little visit 5 days ago. I kinda tried killing him. But in the end, I killed myself instead of him.”
Jennifer asked, “How?”
Thomas answered, “Tackled him out of a 3 story building. It hurt like a bitch.”
Jennifer smiled and said, “Well, welcome back to Earth.”
Thomas smiled and sat up and said, “It’s good to be back.”
Jennifer smiled and said, “Well Azami, he’s alive.”
Azami appeared and asked, “How do you do it?”
Jennifer answered, “I don’t know. I just work on people.”
Azami looked at Thomas and said, “You look really happy.”
Thomas said, “Let’s just say that I met my sister after 5 years. And spirited body’s don’t count as meeting her. Because I wasn’t capable of hugging it.”
Jennifer smiled and said, “Everyone that dies usually is happy when they come back. Because they met a relative of theirs that they missed and more.”
Thomas said, “Yep. I can tell. Now let’s see if she could put up with another 5 years of not seeing me.”
Jennifer heard that and looked at her and asked, “Where’s her body?”
Thomas answered, “Not telling you. I want to have my fun while she has her fun in Heaven.”
Azami said, “You are totally wicked.”
Thomas said, “Thank you.”
5: The First Day of Class For ThomasAzami said, “Oh yes, Sister Charlotte told me to send the both of you up to the main office when Thomas woke up.”
Jennifer asked, “Where is that?”
Thomas answered, “I’ll take you there.”
Azami asked, “Are you sure? Do you remember where to go?”
Thomas answered, “Yes I do.”
Jennifer said, “Well, let’s go then.”
Thomas said, “OK.”
They walked toward the main office and Zoey saw them walking out of the nurse’s office and Azami walked out and smiled.
Kina asked, “Why was Thomas in there?”
Azami answered, “He was dead for 5 days. The nurse’s office is open again.”
Zoey looked at Thomas and Jennifer said, “So, how did it feel to see her again?”
Thomas answered, “Good. The only problem was that she wanted to seduce me.”
Jennifer laughed and said, “That’s funny as hell. Your sister tried seducing you.”
Thomas said, “Yep.”
Jennifer smiled and put her arm around him and Thomas looked at her and Jennifer said, “Sounds like fun.”
Thomas heard that and said, “I have no idea what you are talking about.”
Jennifer said, “I see.”
Thomas said, “You still think that it sounds like fun, don’t you?”
Jennifer answered, “Who knows?”
Thomas sighed and Zoey said, “Those two are a little too close to each other, don’t you think?”
Azami answered, “Don’t interfere with her walk. I’ve seen Jennifer fight before. It’s not very pleasant.”
Kina asked, “How strong is she?”
Azami answered, “A person on a completely different level than you two combined. But on the same page as Thomas. They both show no mercy to their opponents. And they never hold back.”
Zoey heard that and said, “And they are both insane.”
Kina said, “They are going to get along just fine.”
Azami said, “Exactly. I bet you that she’ll try seducing him.”
Zoey laughed and said, “That’s what I’m afraid of.”
Azami smiled and said, “Well, don’t tell anyone. But only a couple people know about his death. Don’t tell anyone.”
They said, “Understood.”
Jennifer and Thomas appeared in front of the main office and Thomas knocked on the door and Sister Charlotte asked, “Who is it?”
Thomas answered, “It’s pretty boy and Life Bringer.”
Sister Charlotte laughed and said, “Come on in. I’ve been waiting for you.”
Thomas opened the door and they walked in and Sister Charlotte said, “Life Bringer, welcome to East Academy. We’ll be counting on you.”
Jennifer said, “Call me Jennifer please.”
Sister Charlotte said, “OK Jennifer. And Thomas, I’ll be taking you to your classroom today.”
Thomas said, “I can’t sleep.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Not at all. Your grandpa dropped by yesterday, I said that I sent you on a mission in China.”
Thomas laughed and said, “You are one hell of a liar.”
Sister Charlotte said, “And you are one hell of a man.”
Jennifer said, “Heaven should be like one day up there is 5 days on Earth, right?”
Thomas said, “Yep.”
Sister Charlotte asked, “How do you know that Jennifer?”
Jennifer answered, “I asked people what Heaven was like. Some people went, some didn’t.”
Thomas said, “The only reason I know that is because my sister told me. And I met an Angel. I think that his name was Michael.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Angels exist. I didn’t know that.”
Thomas smiled and said, “Yes they do. And that means if Angels exist, then so do Devils.”
Jennifer heard that and said, “You gotta be kidding me.”
Thomas said, “Yep. And I’m capable of going to Heaven whenever I want now. But I don’t plan on going till I’m ready.”
Sister Charlotte said, “You are now an official nurse here Jennifer and Thomas is now an official student starting today. Are you 2 ready to work your up a storm?”
Thomas answered, “Nope.” Jennifer answered, “Yes.” But they spoke at the same time.
They looked at each other and Sister Charlotte laughed and said, “It’s good to be the headmaster here. Let’s go Thomas.”
Thomas nodded and Jennifer stared at him and Sister Charlotte said, “You should head back to the nurse’s office.”
Thomas said, “If you know where it is that is.”
Jennifer smiled and said, “He has a point. Where is it?”
Thomas answered, “Just take the same way we came.”
Jennifer said, “I don’t remember that in such a short time period.”
Thomas sighed and said, “Exit through these doors and just go straight. You’ll find a big building the the words Nurse’s Office on it. If you find that building, you’ll know where you are.”
Jennifer said, “You truly are a piece of work kid.”
Thomas said, “Thank you.”
They started walking in separate paths and Sister Charlotte said, “I think that she’s interested in you.”
Thomas said, “Just because I mentioned that my sister tried seducing me.”
Sister Charlotte laughed and said, “I see. Let me guess, she said that it sounds like fun.”
Thomas said, “Yep.”
Sister Charlotte sighed and said, “If it was the man that I cared about, I would happily agree with her. If not, I would probably kick the man in the crotch.”
Thomas said, “Hell yeah.”
They appeared in front of Class 1-4 and Sister Charlotte knocked on the door and the teacher of Class 1-4 heard that and stopped class and walked to the door and opened it and asked, “How may I help you?”
Sister Charlotte answered, “You have a new student. Thomas Vasco is his name.”
Thomas appeared and the teacher looked at him and said, “Holy shit. He’s a handsome one.”
Thomas heard that and looked at her and said, “Hey, is it just me or are all of the older women after me?”
Sister Charlotte laughed and answered, “Not at all. Just get to work and make me proud.”
Thomas said, “I ain’t doing this for you.”
Sister Charlotte asked, “Who are you doing it for then?”
Thomas answered, “Mirrita.”
Thomas smiled and the teacher walked inside and said, “Hello everyone. We have a new student here today. Come on in.”
Thomas walked in and Jessica saw Thomas and Thomas turned toward them and said, “Hello ladies. I’m Thomas Vasco, it’s nice to meet you all. And it’s good to be back.”
Jessica smiled and Thomas said, “I’m actually from Italy. Then came to Japan. And now I’m here.”
Everyone said, “It’s the man that jumped out of the window.”
Thomas said, “I didn’t jump out. I tackled someone out of the building and I fell with him.”
The teacher said, “Take a seat anywhere, Thomas.”
Thomas sat all the way in the back and Sister Charlotte said, “Keep an eye on him. He might fall asleep during class.”
The teacher said, “I see. If that’s the case, would you mind sitting in the front Thomas?”
Thomas heard that and answered, “Not at all.”
Thomas stood up and walked to the front desk and said, “This is close enough right.”
The teacher nodded and everyone stared at him and Thomas put his arm on the desk and then put his head on his arm and laid it there and fell asleep with his eyes open, while blinking at a constant pace like everyone else and the teacher taught the class again and then as soon as they got to topics about Volt Weapons, the teacher said, “Thomas, what is the name of this Volt Weapon?”
Thomas didn’t move his head and answered, “White Catastrophe. It’s a sword that is capable of transforming into an automatic assault rifle.”
The teacher heard that and said, “You aren’t even looking at it and you got it right.”
Thomas’ head fell off of his arm and hit the desk hard and the teacher sighed and said, “Get up.”
Jessica said, “Kick him in the crotch. It’ll wake him up.”
The teacher heard that and turned it to the next slide and Thomas said, “That’s the Black Death. A pistol with pebble bullets that don’t hurt.”
The teacher heard that and said, “You gotta be kidding me.”
Thomas raised his head and said, “If you are talking about Volt Weapons, I know them all.”
Jessica heard that and the teacher asked, “Are you sleeping or are you just messin with me?”
Thomas answered, “I’m sleeping. But I make it act like I’m actually awake. But I guess that you already knew that I fell asleep after watching my head slip off of my arm.”
He opened his eyes and and put a huge smile on his face and the teacher looked at him and said, “Sister Charlotte. Save me from this child.”
Everyone started laughing and Thomas looked at the board and said, “Huh, what’s that?”
Jessica answered, “You just mentioned it.”
Thomas heard that and said, “I did? When did I do that?”
They answered, “Just now.”
Sister Charlotte appeared and asked, “What’s wrong?”
The teacher answered, “This man sleeps with his eyes open. And they were blinking.”
Sister Charlotte said, “You’ll do anything to sleep.”
Thomas answered, “Yep.”
The teacher said, “And that’s not all. He also knew two of the Volt Weapons without looking at them.”
Thomas heard that and said, “I have no idea what she’s talking about.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Interesting.”
Thomas put his head on his arm again and closed his eyes and the girl sitting in front of him kicked his chair and Thomas said, “I’m awake. Don’t be so mean to me ladies.”
Sister Charlotte laughed and said, “Go to sleep one more time and I’ll abuse you like you never been abused before.”
Thomas heard that and said, “Yes ma’am.”
Everyone heard that and looked at the teacher and the teacher said, “Now that I have everyone’s attention, what is this next Volt Weapon?”
Thomas looked at it and said, “That’s the Violet Crime. Owned by you. And is a dagger that is capable of flying in the air and multiply’s to the owner’s satisfaction.”
The teacher heard that and looked at him and asked, “Are you sleeping?”
The student went to kick the chair and Thomas grabbed her foot and said, “Don’t you dare kick my chair again. I’m 200% awake because she scared the shit out of me. I will not fall asleep during class again.”
The teacher smiled and said, “So you really are smart.”
Thomas said, “Yes ma’am.”
Thomas looked at the girl behind him and whispered, “Please don’t kick the chair. Let me sleep in peace.”
The girl kicked his chair and Thomas said, “I shouldn’t have said that.”
The teacher sighed and said, “Next.”
Thomas looked at it and Jessica said, “That’s Phoenix. A sword that’s on fire.”
The teacher heard that and asked, “Did you know that Thomas?”
Thomas looked at the weapon and said, “I don’t know.”
Jessica said, “I have a feeling that dreams are helping you answer these questions.”
Thomas heard that and said, “She’s totally right.”
The teacher said, “Shit. So you know nothing about Volt Weapons.”
Thomas said, “The only two Volt Weapons that I truly know about are Crimson Blood and Typhon Dragon (which is a sword larger than its owner). My sister owned Typhon Dragon. That’s how I know it.”
The teacher asked, “How about Crimson Blood? I never heard of it.”
Thomas took it out and said, “This is Crimson Blood. The stronger I get, the bigger the sword gets.”
The teacher heard that and looked at him and the bell rang and the teacher said, “There is a test tomorrow on Volt Weapons. You must name them only. And Thomas, no cheating.”
Thomas said, “I got this.”
The teacher heard that and Jessica walked toward him and said, “I don’t think that you got this.”
Thomas said, “I don’t.”
Jessica said, “Follow me. We’re going to eat, then I’m going to help you study.”
Thomas said, “You really think that studying is going to help me.”
Jessica answered, “Yes.”
They walked to the cafeteria and Thomas bought food for the both of them and Jessica said, “Thank you Thomas.”
Thomas said, “No problem.”
They walked to an empty seat and Thomas asked, “Why are you willing to help me?”
Jessica answered, “You are strong. But you are hilariously dumb as hell. I just have to say this, if I was your sister, would she be smart or dumb?”
Thomas answered, “She would have probably been dumb. But not as dumb as me though.”
Jessica said, “You should never call yourself dumb. That’ll just cause you problems in life.”
Thomas said, “Now you sound like my sister. She’s not dumb at all actually. You give her this test tomorrow, she’ll pass that shit with flying colors.”
Jessica smiled and said, “And I’m going to help you with that. So you don’t have to cheat. But I think tomorrow that the teacher is going to put you right next to her so she could tell if you are cheating or not. And if you are, you’ll probably be sent to the main office to take it.”
Thomas heard that and said, “That’s not cool.”
Jessica said, “You should never sleep during class, Thomas. It’s not good for you.”
Thomas said, “I know that.”
As soon as they finished eating, they walked to their dorm room and they started to study there. All day and night. Meaning that they didn't get any sleep that night.
6: The Volt Weapon TestThe next morning, Jessica and Thomas walked to their classroom and everyone looked at Thomas and Thomas said, “I’m totally going to fail this test.”
Jessica said, “Don’t say that. As long as you remember what we studied, you’ll be fine.”
Thomas said, “I can’t learn that shit in just one day. I need time to learn. I’m mentally retarded.”
They heard that and Jessica smacked him in the head and Thomas felt that and the teacher walked in with the test papers in her hands and Thomas looked at them and Jessica said, “You’ll be fine.”
Thomas said, “If you say so.”
The bell rang and the teacher said, “Welcome to Test Day. Every class is taking this test. But of course for each year, there is a different test. You all will be taking the Freshman Test. You have all day to take it.”
Thomas heard that and looked at her and the teacher asked, “Are there any questions?”
Everyone looked at Thomas and Thomas asked, “May I give up now?”
Jessica slapped him in the back of the head and the teacher said, “According to her, no.”
Thomas heard that and turned his head and said, “You gotta be kidding me. Why?”
Jessica answered, “Take the test. No sleeping either. I’ll know if you are sleeping or not.”
Thomas sighed and the teacher asked, “Any other questions?”
Thomas asked, “What is the test like?”
The teacher answered, “Fill in the blanks and multiple choice.”
Thomas put his head on the desk and said, “This isn’t cool at all.”
Jessica laughed and said, “You’ll pass as long as you remember what you studied all night and day long.”
Thomas looked at the desk and the teacher put the test papers on the desks of every row and Thomas looked at it and asked, “Do we answer it on the paper or separate paper?”
The teacher said, “Raise your hand next time.”
Thomas said, “Yes ma’am.”
The teacher said, “Write on the test.”
Thomas started writing his name and the date on the paper and the teacher stared at him and Sister Charlotte walked in and said, “If Thomas cheats on the test, give him another paper and send him to the office to take it.”
The teacher said, “Yes ma’am.”
Thomas heard that and looked at her and said to himself, “You gotta be kidding me.”
Jessica smiled and Sister Charlotte said, “Good luck everyone. We’ll be counting on you.”
They said, “Yes ma’am.”
Thomas said, “Fail me already.”
The teacher said, “Get to work.”
Thomas looked at the paper and started looking at the images and said to himself, “What did I learn about this weapon?”
The weapon looked like a pair of scissors and Thomas looked at it and wrote down Linear Shard Scissors for the answer.
He looked at the next image and saw a blade that cuts itself in half and said to himself, “This test isn’t for me. No wonder why I’m going to fail.”
He wrote down Cutting Blade for the answer and then said to himself, “No more fill in the blanks. Thank you lord. Now it’s only multiple choice questions. Am I really going to fail this test?”
He looked at the images and looked at the answer choices and started circling them as soon as the correct answers appeared in his head and then flipped the page over and saw that nothing was there and Thomas raised his hand and the teacher said, “I can’t help you.”
Thomas said, “I don’t need help ma’am. What do I do when I’m done with the test?”
Everyone heard that and Jessica looked at him and the teacher walked over to him and looked at it and asked, “Are you asleep?”
Jessica answered, “Nope. He’s awake.”
Thomas said, “I promised her that I would take this seriously, so I took it seriously. Awake throughout the entire thing. Guessed on everything.”
The teacher looked at his test and brought it back to her desk and then looked at both the answer sheet and Thomas’ test and looked and said to herself, “You really didn’t guess. These are all right.”
Thomas looked at her and Jessica looked at him and the teacher put a 100 on his test and put it to the side and Jessica looked at the teacher and Sister Charlotte walked in and said, “He finished his test already.”
The teacher answered, “Yep. Here it is.”
Sister Charlotte looked at the test and then Jessica finished her test and took it to the teacher.
The teacher graded it and put it to the side and said, “Thank you.”
Jessica nodded and sat down and Thomas looked at her and Sister Charlotte said, “Thomas, please come with me.”
Thomas heard that and turned his head slowly and said, “Sure thing.”
Everyone heard that and they walked to the main office and Sister Charlotte said, “Thomas, did you cheat on the test?”
Thomas answered, “Nope. I studied hard with Jessica. All day and night.”
Sister Charlotte heard that and said, “So she helped you study.”
Thomas said, “Yep.”
Sister Charlotte smiled and said, “That’s a first. She usually kicks everyone out.”
Thomas said, “I see. It seems that you are pleased.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Did you cheat?”
Thomas answered, “Nope. I guessed.”
Sister Charlotte said, “I see. Well, you got a 100. How does that feel?”
Thomas answered, “I knew that I was going to pass it.”
She laughed and said, “Nah, you were saying that you were going to fail it.”
Thomas heard that and looked at her and said, “You are totally imagining things miss.”
Sister Charlotte smiled and said, “Camera’s are all over the school, Thomas. I can watch your every move except for in the dorms.”
Thomas said, “Seriously. Why not in the dorms?”
Sister Charlotte answered, “I trust them to make the right decisions. Meaning that I’m trusting you to make the right decisions as well.”
Thomas said, “You know me. I’ll make the decisions that are always right.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Except for sleeping during class.”
Thomas heard that and looked at her and said, “OK. Maybe not always.”
Sister Charlotte said, “I’m going to have Jessica keep an eye on you, Thomas. Just make sure that you don’t do anything stupid.”
Thomas heard that and said, “I don’t plan on doing anything stupid.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Well, after lunch I want you in the gym.”
Thomas heard that and asked, “Why?”
The gym teacher walked out of nowhere and Sister Charlotte answered, “Sayoko Hayakawa will give you the physical test.”
Sayoko said, “It won’t take long at all.”
Thomas looked at her and said, “OK.”
7: The Physical TestSister Charlotte said, “I’m going to have Jessica keep an eye on you, Thomas. Just make sure that you don’t do anything stupid.”
Thomas heard that and said, “I don’t plan on doing anything stupid.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Well, after lunch I want you in the gym.”
Thomas heard that and asked, “Why?”
The gym teacher walked out of nowhere and Sister Charlotte answered, “Sayoko Hayakawa will give you the physical test.”
Sayoko said, “It won’t take long at all.”
Thomas looked at her and said, “OK.”
The bell rang while they were talking and Sayoko smiled and Thomas walked to the cafeteria and Sayoko walked to the gym.
As soon as he got to the cafeteria, Jessica appeared and asked, “What did Sister Charlotte want?”
Thomas answered, “To know if I was cheating on the test or not.”
Jessica asked, “Were you cheating on the test?”
Thomas answered, “Not at all. I actually kept my mind focused on the test. And passed it I think.”
Jessica said, “That’s good.”
Thomas said, “Now I have to take the Physical Exam.”
Jessica laughed and said, “We took that on the first day of school. It’s really hard. You might throw up in the end.”
Thomas laughed and then stopped and said, “You said what now?”
Jessica smiled and said, “You truly are hilarious, Thomas.”
She put her head by his head and whispered, “Good luck honey.”
Thomas heard that and looked at her and she turned her head and kissed him and then backed off and Thomas felt her lips against his lips and asked, “What was that for?”
Jessica answered, “Just showing off my love for you.”
Thomas heard that and said, “You love me.”
Jessica answered, “Yep.”
Thomas sighed and said, “I see.”
Jessica smiled and started eating again and Sister Charlotte smiled and said, “I see, she has gained feelings for him. This is going to be quite interesting.”
Thomas finished eating early and stood up and Jessica grabbed his arm and pulled downwards and Thomas sat back down on his nuts and put his head down and said, “That hurt. My nuts. They hurt because of you dammit.”
Jessica laughed and said, “You’ll be fine. You felt that pain before, I believe.”
Thomas said, “Oh shut up.”
Sister Charlotte said, “My god.”
He sat there till the bell rang and Jessica said, “Good luck.”
Thomas said, “Shut up.”
He stood up slowly and walked to the gym in pain and Sayoko saw that he was holding his crotch and said, “I’m not going to rape you kid.”
Thomas looked at her and said, “Real funny. I’m holding my nuts because I sat on them really hard because of my roommate. Now you can just shut up.”
Sayoko said, “I’m an adult. You shouldn’t speak to me like that boy.”
Thomas said, “Like I care.”
Sayoko smiled and said, “I see. Take your shirt off.”
Thomas heard that and asked, “Why?”
Sayoko answered, “I asked the women to do this as well. Take your shirt off.”
Thomas did and she saw his muscles and said, “Holy shit. You have more muscles than my husband.”
Thomas laughed and asked, “Why am I laughing? Women these days are trying to seduce me while I have my shirt off. It’s sad. But awesome at the same time.”
Sayoko said, “Well, let’s begin shall we. Do 50 jumping jacks. And they have to be perfect.”
Thomas heard that and started doing jumping jacks and Sayoko stared at him with his pecs bobbing up and down and as soon as he finished the 50 jumping jacks, he said, “What’s next?”
Sayoko answered, “100 push ups. And your chest must touch the ground each time or the push up doesn’t count.”
Thomas went into his push up position and Sayoko said, “Begin.”
Thomas started pushing up and down and allowed his chest to touch the ground and said, “You truly are an insane woman.”
Sayoko said, “I guess that I am.”
She said that while staring at his ass and said to herself, “So handsome.”
Thomas finished the push ups 2 minutes later and stood up and said, “Next.”
Sayoko heard that and said, “200 sit ups. And you must have your entire body come up and not just your elbow hitting your knee.”
Thomas said, “Understood.”
Sayoko said, “I will hold your feet down so they don’t move as much.”
Thomas laid back on the ground and then bent his legs a little and Sayoko held his feet to the ground and said, “Begin.”
Thomas put his arms across his chest and then started lifting his body up and bringing it back down. Sayoko looked down on him and said, “You are one strong man.”
Thomas said, “Well, the dojo that I lived in before here, the training there is a lot worse than this.”
She heard that and said, “Well, we aren’t done yet. Keep going.”
She stared at his muscles clenching together and said, “How old are you?”
Thomas answered, “16 years old.”
Sayoko smiled and said, “I see. You have a lot more muscle than my husband when he was your age.”
Thomas said, “Don’t care. Stop comparing me with him.”
Sayoko said, “Sorry about that. But all I do is compare.”
Thomas said to himself, “I have a feeling that she is in love with me. Just like Jessica. This is hell.”
Sayoko said to herself, “He’s probably thinking that I love him more than my husband. But I actually do love you more than my husband.”
Thomas finished 4 minutes later and stood up and Sayoko saw that and he was close to her face and Thomas said, “Please get off of my feet.”
She heard that and said, “Oh, sure thing.”
She took out a barbell that was 50mm length and some weights and said, “There you go. Put as many as you need on each end of the barbell.”
Thomas heard that and put seven 50 pound weight plates of metal on each end and then two 10 pound weight plates on each end, then put one 5 pound weight plates on each end and then collars on each end to hold them in place, totalling 850 pounds being lifted. Sayoko looked at how much he was going to be squatting, deadlifting and bench pressing and said, “850 pounds. What the hell are you?”
Thomas answered, “This’ll be a new max for me. I am capable of lifting 800 pounds with no problem. Now it’s time to jump the gun a little.”
His teacher brought her class to the gym and Sayoko said, “5 sets of 50. You’ll be squatting that.”
Thomas said, “OK.”
Thomas lifted it up and put it behind his shoulders and held it there and the students saw that and Sayoko said, “Begin.”
Thomas started squatting the 850 pounds and the teacher asked, “What the hell are you doing, Mrs. Hayakawa?”
Sayoko answered, “Giving Thomas his Physical Exam. And this is wonderful.”
The teacher said, “Well, you have class to teach.”
Sayoko said, “Yep. Sister Charlotte asked me to do this after lunch. So I got my hands full here.”
Sister Charlotte walked in and said, “You made him take his shirt off, huh.”
Thomas heard that and said, “You little.”
Sayoko said, “Yep. It’s very enjoyable.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Well, keep going Thomas. I’ll take over from here.”
Sayoko heard that and said, “OK.”
Thomas finished one set and dropped the barbell on the ground and said, “850 isn’t enough weight. But I’ll survive.”
Everyone looked at him and Thomas turned toward them and they all fell in love with him and Thomas saw that and asked, “When did you get there?”
Sister Charlotte laughed and asked, “Were you not paying attention?”
Thomas answered, “Not at all. I’ve been paying attention to this workout.”
Sister Charlotte said, “You rather be a gym teacher than being a student.”
Thomas smiled and said, “If that’s the case, then hell yeah.”
Sister Charlotte laughed and said, “Tough love.”
Thomas smiled and back and lifted it up over his shoulders again and he started squatting his second set of 50 and Sister Charlotte said, “Don’t mind us. Get dressed for gym, then do whatever she asks you to do.”
They said, “Yes ma’am.”
The teacher sighed and walked away and said, “This is hell for you boy. You should have never came here.”
Thomas looked at Sister Charlotte and asked, “Are you enjoying this?”
Sister Charlotte answered, “Yes I am.”
20 minutes later, he finished with squatting and then said, “What is after squatting?”
Sister Charlotte answered, “Deadlift. 5 sets of 50.”
Thomas put the barbell in front of him and started lifting it up to his waist and Sister Charlotte saw that and smiled and said, “Then you’ll bench press. Then you’ll do everything over again.”
Thomas heard that and said, “Over again.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Yep. And double the amount of everything that you’ve done so far.”
Thomas heard that and did exactly what she asked him to do and said, “You people make women insane.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Well, that’s how we’re the number 1 school that trains Volt Weapon users.”
Thomas heard that and Sister Charlotte said, “And this years freshman are even stronger than last years.”
Thomas said, “I see. Sounds interesting.”
Sister Charlotte said, “I already booked your first match.”
Thomas heard that and asked, “What do you mean by that?”
He dropped the barbell after the 50th time of his 1st set and Sister Charlotte answered, “Each student fights a student from another school to see who is the best. And the top 128 people of all of the schools in each grade level will be headed to the tournament. And the winner of the tournament wins a trophy. And that tells us who the strongest schools are. We’ve been number 1 since this school started. You’ll be going to United Academy. It’s in the United States. Your first opponent is Julia Andrews, a 1st year student.”
Thomas heard that and then continued on to his second set and said, “I see. So when is this match.”
Sister Charlotte answered, “After school today. So you better work faster.”
Thomas heard that and said, “You gotta be kidding me.”
Sister Charlotte said, “You got about an 3 hours left. You better work faster.”
Thomas did and Sister Charlotte saw that and said, “You are doing the total 4 remaining sets so you could get this over with.”
Thomas grinned and Sister Charlotte pulled out a bench and Thomas finished the 4 sets in 5 minutes and Thomas was out of breath and said, “Holy shit. I shouldn’t be going this fast. But who cares.”
He went on to the bench and said, “Bench presses right.”
Sister Charlotte said, “Yep.”
Thomas said, “OK. Let’s do this.”
Thomas started to push the barbell up and brought it down over and over again and Sister Charlotte asked, “What is the main reason why you came to this academy?”
Thomas answered, “I wanted to go to the school that my sister went to. To see why she loved it. And I still don’t know why she loves it. But who cares.”
The girls stared at him and Sayoko said, “You are one lucky girl Jessica.”
Jessica asked, “Why do you say that?”
Sayoko answered, “You are sleeping with that boy.”
Jessica smiled and said, “That’s what you meant. He is my roommate. That’s all that there is to it.”
Her friend, Yuma Satow said, “So your aren’t dating him?”
Jessica said, “We did kiss today during lunch.”
Thomas said, “She also hurt me too. She’s a damn brute.”
Yuma smiled and said, “So you are dating him.”
Jessica said, “Will start dating soon.”
Thomas heard that and looked at Sister Charlotte and she said, “Good luck.”
Thomas heard that and said, “Don’t good luck me.”
Sister Charlotte said, “That is for your match. Not for dating her. But good luck for that as well.”
Thomas said, “You devil.”
Sister Charlotte laughed and said, “You know that you did 300 instead of 250.”
Thomas heard that and put it back and said, “You gotta be kidding me. Damn you Jessica.”
He stood up and started doing everything over again and Sister Charlotte said, “Let’s see what you can do Thomas. Double everything that you just did.”
Thomas sighed and did and Sayoko said, “I can’t get over how strong he is compared to my husband. It’s incredibly sad.” Jessica asked, “Why do you say that?”
Sayoko answered, “He’s weaker than him.”
He heard that and walked in and took his Volt Weapon out and Thomas sensed him and the man swung at her and Thomas disappeared and appeared beside her and blocked the Volt Weapon with his Crimson Blood and Sister Charlotte saw that and Sayoko turned her head slowly and saw him and said, “Oh shit. He was right there.”
Everyone started laughing and said, “You are an idiot.”
Her husband, Teijo Hayakawa said, “You dare interfere with my work.”
Thomas said, “Work? Meaning kill your wife. Also trying to weaken me so Kelly Shelly could come here to kill me.”
Teijo heard that and said, “You know too much kid. Killing your sister is step one of her goal. Killing you is next.”
Thomas heard that and looked at him and Teijo brought his sword back and jumped back and Thomas continued doing his Physical Exam and Sayoko saw that and Teijo ran toward him and Thomas disappeared and appeared underneath him and speared him into the ground and Teijo coughed out a huge amount of blood and then ran away and Thomas ran back to Sister Charlotte and continued with the exam.
Sister Charlotte said, “Another male with a Volt Weapon. What the hell is going on here?”
Thomas answered, “Those aren’t Volt Weapons. Those are man made weapons to take on Volt Weapons and destroy them.”
They heard that and asked, “What do you mean by that?”
Thomas answered, “It’s a countermeasure to defeat us people that use Volt Weapons. According to my calculations, that is the only possible reason how my sister died. Her Volt Weapon shattered and she attacked her right after that happened.”
Sister Charlotte asked, “How’d you know that it shattered?”
Thomas answered, “Her fight with Kelly Shelly was all over the news. I watched it. And I cried because her death.”
Sister Charlotte said, “I see. I’m sorry.”
Thomas went into his push up position and started pushing himself up and down and they saw that and Sayoko said, “OK, today we’re going to run 5 laps.”
They heard that and said, “Yes ma’am.”
They started running and Sister Charlotte smiled and said, “Well, you are half way through it all. Keep it up.”
Thomas said, “Oh shut up.”
An 1 later, he finished everything and asked, “How much longer do I have till the match?”
Sister Charlotte answered, “The helicopter arrives at 3:30 p.m. and leaves at 3:40 p.m. Meaning that you got 10 minutes to get to the helicopter.”
Thomas said, “Right now.”
Sister Charlotte answered, “Nope. You got 20 minutes to go before it gets here. Get a days worth of clothes packed and meet me at the landing platform.”
Thomas said, “Understood.”
He ran to his room and grabbed some items that he’ll need for his trip to the United States. A shirt, underwear, pants, and socks. Then walked to the landing platform. As soon as he got there, the bell rang and everyone started moving around and the helicopter appeared and Sister Charlotte said, “There you go. You are the first one here today. But that won’t happen all of the time.”
Thomas entered the helicopter and the pilot asked, “Where to today?”
Sister Charlotte answered, “Two more students are coming. But their destination is all the same. United Academy.”
The pilot said, “I see. United Academy is quite far. But we can handle it.”
Sister Charlotte said, “OK.”
Thomas closed his eyes while waiting for them to appear and then 3rd year, Chern Xia appeared and said, “I have arrived ma’am.”
Thomas opened his left eye and saw her outside and Sister Charlotte said, “I see. Go on in.”
Chern walked in and then 2nd year, Hana Malnar appeared and walked on to the helicopter and Sister Charlotte said, “Get going. All 3 of them are here.”
The pilot said, “Yes ma’am.”
The helicopter took off and they looked at Thomas.
8: Thomas Vasco vs. Julia AndrewsWhile the helicopter is in the air flying toward United Academy, Chern asked, “What brings you to East Academy, boy?”
Thomas said, “Reason one, my sister went here. Reason two, my grandpa wants me here. Reason three, to finish off my sister’s goal. Become the number 1 Volt Weapon user in the world.”
Chern said, “I see. I’m Chern Xia, I’m from China. This is Hana Malnar, I have no idea where she’s from. But she’s a 2nd year student. I’m a 3rd year student.”
Thomas said, “I’m Thomas Vasco, from Italy. A 1st year student. It’s nice to meet the both of you.”
Hana nodded and Chern said, “It is nice to meet you as well.”
Hana nodded and Thomas asked, “Is she not capable of speaking?”
Chern said, “I’m afraid so. She was born without the ability to speak.”
Thomas said, “I see. That is quite sad.”
Hana nodded and Chern said, “Yes it is. Why do you have a briefcase?”
Thomas answered, “Sister Charlotte asked me to get some clothes and stuff that I would need. Do I know why, not at all.”
Chern said, “I see.”
3 hours later, they arrived at United Academy and the pilot said, “It seems that we have arrived at our destination.”
The people in the office heard the helicopter and said, “It seems that they have arrived. Ask if Thomas Vasco is on board?”
They grabbed a radio and said, “Hello.”
The pilot heard that and said, “Hello.”
They asked, “Is Thomas Vasco on the helicopter?”
The pilot asked, “Is a Thomas Vasco here?”
Thomas answered, “Yes.”
The pilot said, “He’s here.”
They said, “OK. Land whenever you are ready.”
The pilot heard that and said, “Yessir.”
They landed and the Student Council President of United Academy waited out there for the helicopter to land with the Student Council Vice-President. As soon as the helicopter landed, Chern and Hana stood up and opened the hatch and exited the helicopter and then Thomas stood up and grabbed his briefcase and walked out of the helicopter and the pilot said, “Have fun now.”
Thomas said, “OK.”
Thomas closed the hatch and then pounded it twice and the helicopter took off and the Student Council President, Valeria Reilly said, “Welcome to United Academy, sir.”
Thomas said, “Call me either Thomas or Vasco.”
The Student Council Vice-President, Bessie Olsen said, “We are glad to have you here, sir.”
Thomas said, “Oh well. I guess that I can’t change your mind. Well, let’s go.”
They laughed and said, “Alright. Follow us. Your match is after those two girls. Because the 1st year that you’ll be facing is the top 1st year in this school.”
Thomas heard that and said, “Really. Man, they are insane.”
Bessie said, “Well, I heard that you are quite as insane as her. She is capable of defeating 3rd years with no problem. You defeated the top two second years because they didn’t want you in the school. You both play till you die.”
Thomas said, “Already died once, don’t plan on dying again.”
Valeria said, “I heard about that as well. You tackled a rapist out of a window of a three story building.”
Thomas said, “Yep. I was badly injured, the man was not. He was capable of running away.”
They heard that and said, “Damn. I’m sorry to hear that.”
Thomas said, “It seems that I got my ass handed to. And that was directly after the match with the two strongest 2nd years.”
They heard that and said, “Let’s go to the stadium to watch the match between Chern Xia and Opal Wood.”
Thomas said, “OK.”
They walked to the stadium and as soon as they got there, the match already started and Bessie said, “It started already.”
Valeria said, “We can tell.”
Thomas looked at them and said, “If my prediction is right, Chern is going to win hands down.”
Valeria asked, “How do you know that?”
Thomas answered, “You’ll see.”
Bessie looked at her and Chern disappeared and appeared behind Opal and Opal swung downwards and she ducked and hit her stomach in the chest with the handle of her Bee Dagger. Opal fell down and then she hit her temple with the handle of the dagger and knocked her out and the announcer said, “The winner is Chern Xia, from East Academy. The next match will be our 2nd year Rank 5, Genesis Herbert vs. East Academy’s 2nd year Rank 70, Hana Malnar. Who will win?”
Hana looked at her and Genesis smiled and said, “A Rank 70, huh. This should be fun.”
Hana heard that and turned her head and wrote down, “Yes it should.”
Then lifted it up for her to read Genesis saw that and said, “You gotta be kidding me.”
Bessie asked, “Why doesn’t she speak?”
Thomas answered, “I just learned that she was born without the ability to speak.”
Valeria said, “That sucks.”
Thomas said, “Yes it would. It would be hard to fit in. But she’s doing just fine.”
They smiled and the announcer said, “Let the match begin.”
Hana smiled and Genesis ran toward her and as soon as she got close to Hana, she swung at her and Hana blocked it with her Malicious Knight (a blade that expands whenever it is needed to) and swung her blade and Genesis flew back and Hana flew toward her with intense speed and Genesis saw that and they started swinging at each other, but Hana was going faster than her and her blade was hitting her she was screaming and said, “I give up.”
Hana stopped and the bell rang and Hana walked away and the announcer said, “The winner if Hana Malnar, from East Academy. She displayed that she’s stronger than a Rank 5, 2nd year. The next match will be held in 10 minutes.”
Julia heard that and Thomas said, “10 minutes, huh.”
Valeria said, “Hey, think of it as training. Plus, you are sweating a lot. What happened to you?”
Thomas answered, “I was taking the Physical Exam today. Well, before coming here.”
Valeria said, “Let’s go to the changing room.”
They walked to the changing room and then Thomas started doing his push ups, sit ups, and jumping jacks before the match and Bessie asked, “Are you always in shape?”
Thomas answered, “Yes I am. I always exercise before a big match.”
They heard that and said, “Oh hell.”
10 minutes later, he was sweating up a storm and the announcers said, “OK. The match that we’ve all been waiting for. Our strongest 1st year student, Julia Andrews will be going up against East Academy’s Rank unknown 1st year, Thomas Vasco. Who will win? Contestants please come forward.”
Before Thomas walked out, Valeria said, “We’ll take your briefcase to your room.”
Thomas said, “Thank you.”
They walked forward and Julia stared at Thomas and Thomas stared at her and Julia smiled and said, “So you are the man that jumped out of a three story building to protect women.”
Thomas said, “Hey, I injured myself pretty badly. Be gentle on me now.”
The announcer said, “Contestants, take your shirts off.”
Thomas heard that and Thomas took his shirt off and everyone saw that he was muscular and Julia took her shirt off and smiled and said, “You are just trying to show off your muscles kid.”
Thomas said, “They said take our shirts off. So this is the result of it.”
The announcers said, “Now your shoes.”
Thomas heard that and said, “You people are insane.”
Julia asked, “Why the hell are we stripping?”
Thomas asked, “How am I supposed to know?”
They took their shoes off and Chern smiled and the announcer said, “Now socks.”
Thomas said, “Nigga.”
Julia said, “You aren’t black.”
Thomas said, “I don’t care. I hope that they don’t say take off our pants.”
Julia asked, “Are you not wearing underwear?”
Thomas answered, “I am wearing underwear. I just don’t want to. It makes me feel naked.”
Julia laughed and said, “Well, welcome to hell.”
The announcers said, “Take your pants off.”
Thomas did and Julia did as well and the announcers said, “Now that we’re all ready, get your Volt Weapons out.”
Thomas looked at his pants and took it out and Julia took her Crimson Moon (a scythe) out and started spinning it around her body and Thomas said, “Calling me a showoff. Look at you.”
Julia laughed and said, “Let’s see what you got.”
Thomas started moving the sword around his body and stopped it in front of his body and Julia smiled and Hana wrote down, “They are challenging each other.”
Chern said, “I noticed Hana. What will you do against her, Thomas.”
The announcers said, “Let the match begin.”
The bell rang and Thomas started jumping side to side and Julia saw that and ran toward him and Thomas ran toward her and as soon as they got close to each other, Julia swung her scythe at him and Thomas ducked and then lifted his body up slowly and speared her to the ground and Thomas grinned and stood up and moved back a little and took his sword out of his side and he grunted and then Julia stood up and smiled and turned around and saw that he was bleeding already and Thomas said, “Shit, I messed up. But who cares.”
Julia ran toward him and swung at him, but Thomas caught the blade of her scythe and walked forward a little and swung his sword at her and she caught his blade and they stared at each other and Julia said, “You gotta be kidding me. You are injured and you still have so much strength.”
Thomas said, “You and I are alike, I believe.”
Julia heard that and said, “Fight till one drops, right?”
Thomas said, “Exactly. And drops for good.”
Julia smiled and they brought there weapons back and then and Thomas swung at her and she jumped back swinging her scythe, but Thomas brought his body backwards and Thomas lifted his foot up kicking the scythe upwards and she felt that and Thomas stood up and speared her into the ground again and Julia was out of breath and Thomas grinned again and stood up slowly and took his blade out of his side and the sword said, “You need to stop injuring yourself.”
Thomas smiled and said, “You gotta be kidding me.”
Julia stood up and looked at him and saw another hole in his body and ran toward him again and Thomas stood there and Thomas swung at her and Julia laughed and swung her scythe at his sword and the two collided causing an explosion and everyone saw that and their Volt Weapons shattered and Thomas went on his knees and Julia was still standing and they waited for the smoke to disappear and as soon as the smoke disappeared, Julia was standing up and Thomas was on his knees and Julia smiled and said, “You definitely are all talk.”
She went to kick him in the head, but Thomas grabbed her foot and pulled her and she collapsed and then Thomas punched her face into the ground and Thomas stood up and roared like a dragon and everyone heard that and Julia turned her head toward Thomas and Thomas looked at her and when Thomas went to stomp on her face, but Julia grabbed his foot and lifted him up and Thomas saw that and she threw him up and Thomas said, “Son of a bitch.”
He fell down and Julia kicked his crotch and Thomas rolled over to the side and started rolling all over the place holding his crotch and said, “No wonder why this is a women’s thing. They don’t have a dick. Unless we’re talking about them shemales.”
Julia started attacking him and said, “Get up boy.”
Chern said, “This has just turned into a one-sided fight now.”
Hana nodded and wrote down, “It’ll just get harder from here on out.”
Chern said, “You are right about that Hana. Let’s see what you got, Thomas.”
Hana nodded and then Dr. Vasco appeared in the commentary and asked, “Who is winning?”
The announcer answered, “Right now, it’s totally one-sided. Your grandson is losing.”
Dr. Vasco smiled and said, “Let’s see about that.”
Julia went to kick him, but Thomas grabbed her foot and pulled a little and she hopped over toward him and then Thomas put his left hand on her left foot and then swung his right arm at her right leg and made her do a split and she screamed and then she collapsed forward and they were both laying there on the ground and Thomas said, “Dammit. You hit harder than Jessica.”
Julia laughed and said, “You are the first person that has challenged me in a fight. Shit this hurts.”
They said, “You hit like a damn girl.”
Dr. Vasco laughed and said, “I wouldn’t say those exact words in front of his face. But let’s see what he’ll do about it.”
Thomas started trying to stand up and Julia grabbed him and pulled him to the ground and he landed in front of her and Thomas grunted and Julia looked down and Thomas punched her ribs and Julia coughed out some saliva and Thomas continued punching her and said, “This hurts.”
She smiled and took a knife out of her underwear and swung at him and cut him and Thomas screamed and rolled out of the way and then stood up with intense speed and Julia smiled and stood up herself and everyone said, “Let’s go Julia. Beat him already.”
Thomas ran toward her and she ran toward him and she swung at the knife at him and Thomas moved back and then went to headbutt her, but she moved out of the way and then Thomas rolled forward and then stood up and turned around and ran toward her and she saw that and Thomas speared her into the ground a third time, but that time, she stabbed him in the chest and Thomas stood up slowly and looked at her and Julia saw that the knife was in his chest and Thomas smiled and took it out slowly and Julia saw that and Dr. Vasco said, “No, impossible.”
Thomas looked at the knife and then looked at her and Julia saw that and stood up and Thomas smiled and tossed the knife away and then Thomas ran toward her and speared her into the ground yet again and Julia felt that and said, “Damn you.”
Thomas smiled and laid there and said, “I’m going to die sooner or later. Let’s continue.”
Julia stood up and kicked him over and over again and Thomas smiled and Chern saw that and then Thomas grabbed her foot and threw her up and then Thomas lifted the knife up and swung it 7 times and then put it down and blood gushed out of nowhere and then Thomas jumped up and grabbed her head and slammed it into the ground and Thomas landed on his back and they both screamed and Dr. Vasco said, “Unbelievable. Dead man still walking.”
Thomas laid there and she rolled over on top of him and Thomas looked at her face up close and whispered, “You are a lot prettier up close than farther away.”
Julia smiled and whispered, “Thank you, Thomas. Do you mind if I kiss you?”
Thomas smiled and answered, “Not at all.”
She kissed him and then passed out like that. They both did and Dr. Vasco asked, “What is going on here?”
The announcer answered, “It looks like they are kissing.”
The nurse ran out there and rolled her off of him and said, “They are knocked out cold.”
Dr. Vasco smiled and said, “No one is capable of stopping a monster unless you got fangs yourself. In that case, she just happened to have those fangs.”
The announcer looked at them and Dr. Vasco looked at Thomas and said, “He truly is a monster. But so is that girl. What’s her name again?”
The announcer said, “Everyone, this battle has ended in a tie. They were both KO’ed in their match. Bring them to the nurse's office, Kim.”
Kim Shiba said, “Sure thing.”
She lifted the both of them up and brought them to the nurse’s office and started operating on them. Dr. Vasco said, “That was one hell of a match everyone. East Academy is strong. United Academy’s 1st years might prove to be strong as well. Keep up the hard work.”
Chern smiled and said, “Thomas didn’t win or lose. That’s good.”
Hana nodded and Chern said, “Let’s go home.”
Hana wrote down, “OK.”
They walked to the helicopter and then a girl in a hood appeared walking passed them and appeared walking toward the nurse’s office and they saw that and asked, “Who was that?”
The hooded girl walked into the nurse’s office and Kim heard that and asked, “Who are you?”
She took her hood off and Kim said, “No.”
Kelly took a knife out and Kim grinned and ran toward her and tackled her out of the nurse’s office and Kelly smiled and then Valeria and Bessie appeared and saw Kim outside of the nurse’s office and Kelly grinned and said, “Dammit. You had to interfere.”
She started running away and Valeria asked, “Who was that?”
Kim answered, “She is the person that killed my best friend, Mirrita Vasco. Thomas Vasco’s older sister.”
They heard that and said, “I’m sorry.”
Kim walked back in there and continued operating on them and Bessie asked, “How will they be?”
Kim answered, “Julia will be fine. Thomas won’t be awake for a while. Julia has a broken neck. Thomas has a stab wound in his sides and chest. She has been sliced by invisible waves. He has been cut once. These two don’t know when to give up.”
Bessie said, “They got one hell of a rivalry here.”
Valeria said, “I agree.”
Kim asked, “How are the other two girls?”
Valeria answered, “We helped them get to the helicopter.”
Kim said, “Their clothes?”
Bessie answered, “We picked it up after that. It’s in our hands right now. Where would you like us to put it?”
Kim answered, “On the chair over there.”
They put it on the chair and Kim said, “Thank you. You may leave now.”
They said, “Yes ma’am.”
They walked away and Kim smiled and said, “You two truly are troublemakers. You two were kissing before you both passed out, right? But why was Kelly Shelly here?”
Dr. Vasco answered, “She was here to kill Thomas Vasco. The little brother of Mirrita Vasco, your best friend. Thomas has become obsessed with revenge ever since she died. Stopping him will be impossible. Make sure he lives, I want that son of a bitch to pay.”
Kim heard that and said, “I understand. But that’s murder.”
Dr. Vasco said, “Thomas doesn’t care about that sort of thing, Kim. Just bring him back to life.”
Kim heard that and said, “I see. I’ll do my best.”
9: Five Days LaterThe very next morning, Kim finished operating on the both of them and said, “OK. Operation was a success. They both should be awake soon.”
7 hours later, Julia woke up and looked around and asked, “Where am I?”
Kim heard that and looked at her and answered, “You are in the nurse’s office. How do you feel?”
Julia answered, “Like my crotch was split open.”
Kim said, “I see. You did do a split during your fight with him.”
Julia heard that and turned her head and saw Thomas laying there and asked, “Is he ok?”
Kim answered, “Not as much as you. Thomas has 3 stab wounds. Two caused by himself, and the other one was caused by you. You have a broken neck. So don’t move your neck so much.”
Julia said, “OK.”
Kim said, “But I have a question for you.”
Julia asked, “What is it?”
Kim asked, “Why were you on top of Thomas at the end of the fight?”
Julia heard that and answered, “I kissed him at the end. Why?”
Kim answered, “You two passed out while kissing each other.”
Julia heard that and said, “Oh. Not cool.”
Kim laughed and said, “I see. You love him.”
Julia said, “No, I don’t love him. I’m just glad that there was someone on the same page as me.”
Kim said, “You don’t have to deny it, Julia. By the way you are speaking, you sound like you are in love.”
Dr. Vasco heard that and asked, “Who is in love?”
Julia heard that and said, “Please stop embarrassing me.”
Dr. Vasco said, “I’d actually love to know this.”
Kim smiled and answered, “Thomas Vasco.”
Dr. Vasco heard that and said, “I see. My grandson, huh. If that’s the case, you got a love rival. In East Academy, there’s a girl there that is waiting for him to come home patiently. His roommate to be exact.”
Julia heard that and said, “Why can’t he transfer here?”
Dr. Vasco answered, “Because I want him at the same school that his sister died at. Right now, he’s not strong enough to take her out. We need to train him harder than he’s ever trained before. Plus, when he wakes up, tell him that a new girl at East Academy is looking for him for some reason.”
Kim heard that and asked, “Why don’t you just ask her yourself and then tell him when he wakes up?”
Dr. Vasco answered, “You have a point. But it would be more interesting if he found out for himself.”
Julia said, “By the way, why didn’t the helicopter take him home?”
Dr. Vasco answered, “I asked him to be here. He’s here for a reason, but I can’t tell you that reason though. Well, call me when he wakes up.”
Kim said, “OK.”
Dr. Vasco said, “Oh, and make sure she stays with him at all costs while he’s here at United Academy.”
Kim said, “Sure thing.”
Dr. Vasco left and then the next morning, Julia said, “I wonder when Thomas is going to wake up.”
Kim said, “Well, all I know is that it might take a while before he wakes up. That’s all I know.”
Julia said, “It’s already been two days, huh.”
Kim said, “Yep.”
3 mornings later, Thomas opened his eyes and Julia asked, “When is he going to wake up? He’s taking forever.”
Thomas said, “Shut up and let me sleep in peace dammit.”
Kim heard that and said, “I see. He doesn’t want to wake up. Then we’ll force him to wake up.”
Thomas heard that and said, “I’m awake. Forgive me.”
Julia laughed and said, “You are awake.”
Thomas said, “Yes. I’ve been awake when you asked ‘When is he going to wake up? He’s taking forever.’ You need to stay calm and enjoy life.”
Kim said, “All you care about is sleeping. Well, how do you feel?”
Thomas answered, “I feel like I lost my nuts.”
Julia laughed and said, “Revenge is a bitch.”
Thomas said, “You hit me there first and then I got your crotch.”
Kim said, “He’s right.”
Thomas said, “Revenge actually is a bitch. But you do hit harder than Jessica though. She’s probably wondering why I’m not back yet. Which I’m not really caring about right now because I finally met my match.”
Julia smiled and said, “There’s a new student at East Academy and she’s looking for you.”
Thomas heard that and said, “New student. Looking for me. I must be in hell.”
Julia said, “You are 200% alive.”
Thomas said, “Prove it.”
Kim slapped him in the face and Thomas felt that and said, “Good enough.”
Kim called Dr. Vasco and said, “He’s awake.”
Dr. Vasco said, “OK. I’m on my way there now.”
Kim said, “OK.”
She hung up and Thomas looked at the ceiling and then Dr. Vasco appeared and asked, “How do you feel boy?”
Thomas answered, “Like I got beat the shit out of a God or something.”
Julia laughed and said, “Thank you.”
Dr. Vasco said, “She felt the same way when she woke up 4 days ago.”
Thomas said, “Oh, what do you want?”
Dr. Vasco answered, “Don’t be so mean to me.”
Thomas said, “Your goal sucks.”
Dr. Vasco said, “Well, I asked you to come here because there is someone that I want you to meet.”
Thomas heard that and said, “Someone that you want me to meet.”
Dr. Vasco said, “Yep. So hurry up and feel better.”
Thomas heard that and yelled, “Don’t force me.”
Dr. Vasco said, “Don’t yell at me dammit.”
Julia asked, “Do you two get along?”
They answered, “No; Yes.”
Thomas said ‘No’ and Dr. Vasco said ‘Yes’ to each other’s disclosure. Thomas looked at him and Dr. Vasco looked at him and said, “Kelly Shelly came to kill you Thomas.”
Thomas said, “I rather have her stab me than you old man.”
Dr. Vasco said, “So you aren’t planning on revenge anymore.”
Thomas asked, “What are you talking about? Death awaits her and her people. No one will survive my wrath.”
Julia heard that and Dr. Vasco said, “I thought so. You truly are the Devil.”
Thomas said, “Not at all.”
Thomas took out the key to Heaven and said, “I’m an Angel. I could go see Mirrita whenever I want. But I’m not going to because she ain’t leaving Heaven for another 5 years.”
Kim heard that and asked, “Did you say only 5 years?”
Thomas answered, “Yep. I died once. I don’t want to die again.”
Dr. Vasco said, “Yeah, you shouldn’t have tackled the man out of a three story building.”
Thomas said, “Yeah, you would have wanted me to let the man rape every girl in the school, huh.”
He heard that and Thomas said, “Thought so.”
Dr. Vasco sighed and snapped his fingers and then his bodyguard appeared and aimed her weapon at his head and Thomas raised his hands and said, “I surrender.”
Dr. Vasco said, “Thought so.”
Julia smiled and said, “He used reverse psychology on you Thomas.”
Thomas said, “I noticed. By the way grandpa, who is this person that you want me to meet?”
He answered, “Can’t tell you. You must find out for yourself.”
Thomas heard that and said, “You are an ass.”
Dr. Vasco smiled and said, “I bet that I am. Well, it’s good to see that you are healthy. See you when you feel better.”
Thomas waved and the bodyguard turned around and Thomas nodded and said, “Nice butt.”
She heard that and tossed a knife at him, but it flew right passed his head and into the pillow and Thomas smiled and said, “Hm, she takes that seriously. That’s awesome.”
She heard that and asked, “Is your grandson a pervert?”
He answered, “Not at all. The women just love him. And he tries to ignore them. But they just keep coming.”
She heard that and said, “I see.”
Julia said, “You know that you have a deathwish, right?”
Thomas grabbed the knife and took it out of the pillow with a smile and answered, “Yes I do.”
