The fight begins

The happy days in the Empire of True Horror were gone. Without mercy the daily life retuned back into the life of Malphas and Camari. After a beautiful and surprising wedding and a short honeymoon both returned back. Lots was to do. Malphas had to practice with the Knights and soldiers. And Camari had to do some Kingdom duties and lots of paper stuff. Sitting on a small desk in the library. the only place she had silent. Just seldom someone disturbed her there. It was one of her favorite places in the whole kingdom. On the ground next to her feet the Maenkur puppy Saraph was playing.

Camari was deeply lost in her paper stuff as the ground under her start to rumble. Lifting up one of her brows as the glass on the desk started to vibrate and was close to fall and pour the red thick liquid over the papers. Also Saraph jumped into Camaris arms to hide there. Her eyes moved around scanning the location and if another earthquake would follow. Nothing happen. The rest of the day was also silent as well. So Camari pushed away the thoughts she had in her mind. Turning again over to her paper work until she was falling asleep in the comfortable chair. The fire place was warming her and spend a little bit light in the dark underground library. The white little Maenkur sleeping peaceful and curled together in her arms.

The whole castle turned silent and went to sleep. Okay maybe here and there a servant was walking along the floor and some still were in a kitchen preparing the breakfast and some in the Creature dungeon. Behind the castle a bit red full moon appeared and turned the whole land into a beautiful red. Camari was falling asleep deeply as another loud rumble ripped her out of her dreams. This time the ground was shaking stronger than the last time. Dust and sand was falling from the ceiling. Glasses break and some wall crashing together from the shaking. Also Camari got thrown out of her chair. For a moment the rumble stopped before it started again and this time more stronger. Still Camari was laying on the ground as some of the ceiling fall down on her. Not enough to bury her but enough to wounding her lightly.

After the shaking stopped she pushed herself up from the ground. With the little puppy on her arms she walked up the stairs back into the castle. Confusing that was all she saw. Some of the servants was sitting in a corner hugging their legs and speaking strange prayers. Others just running around crying and scream. Also some of them seemed to be wounded. The first servant who passed her she stopped. It was a young girl, she screamed and was totally confused. Camari grabbed her shoulders and started to shake the female careful. "Stop crying. Listen to me." The girl nods still she was under shock but more now she had fears standing in front of her Empress. "Everyone who is able to walk find them and bring them into the throne room. We will meet there. Hurry." Again the girl was nodding and then rushed away. The empress on her own walked down the floor as she saw that one of the main walls had collapsed. Voices and screaming was to hear from under the debris.

Where once was the throne room, now a gaping big hole and a clear view of the volcano. Deep from the inside of her throat a loud growl was to hear and her eyes turning golden. Never the volcano was sleeping. He was active. Inside of him a powerful shadow demon was locked away. Covered by the lava to suppress his forces. But now the lava was not like normal just moved inside it was to see on the outside as well. More than it was normal. The lava cage was broken and soon the Unkara free. The Empress walked closer to the hole she once called throne room. Her eyes looking over to the volcano. Both the Unkara and Camari had a past with each other. She was the reason he was locked away there.

Once he was the ruler of that place. This castle was a ruin and he was living where now the dungeon of the Maenkur was. Every time he woke up he destroyed half the lands and killed everyone that passed his way. More and more the lands turned into a place of blood and ashes. Because by every new break out more had to suffer and find their death under the breath of the Unkara. Many tried it but never someone was able to come so close to touch or even hurt the creature. But for Camari it was easy. She as small breakable woman. As both met the Unkara had laughed about her being. Telling her she was not even worth to get killed by him.

"My Empress" A breakable voice appeared behind her and pulled her back into the now and then. Slowly she turned around and saw the female servant with the survivors. Some of them also was wounded but they was able to walk. "A handful of you guys will go to the creature dungeon . Take a look if the cages are still okay. The rest of you care about the wounded. Lightly wounded has to walk the rest bring them to the carriages over. You wall will leave to the ghost realm People who will not survive the night. Let them here. And now go everyone." The servants just nod and then left.

Also Camari left. Fast she went over to her room and took on her armor. It was nothing special just a jacked and some pants out of thin leather so she was able to move fast and some comfortable boots to have a save stand. Hiding everywhere on her body weapons like knifes and some magical stuff. At least she took on a special black coat. For a short time it would make her invisible to come close enough to the Ukara and lead him away. She knew a sword would not help her against this monster but never someone knew what was useful in a moment of danger. Dressed and ready she went back to her people. Her and there she helped to get the wounded in the carriages.

May she was and heartless and cold Empress and often she tortured them and some of them died because of her hand. But every time one of them needed her or begged for help she was there. None of them should suffer again since she stepped onto the throne. She waited until all of the carriages started to move and left the castle. As she was alone her view went up to the volcano. The time was come. Knowing if she would not be able to lock this creature away not just this kingdom also some other would fall.

Fixing a last time the sword before she went up the way to the volcano. With every step the ground under her feet turned more hot and started to rumble louder. Down falling rubble nearly hit her. She had to move fast like a thief but also be careful as one. Camari had the half of the way down as a loud explosion was pulling away the ground under her feet. Backwards she fall down the way and somersaulted several times. The quake led to break the ground beneath her in several trenches. Fast they filled with lava. Now there was no way back. She had to move forward and to hurry. Jumping over the trenches and heading again the way up.

Just a few feet was left and she would reach the entrance to the Volcano dungeon as another explosion blew away the top of the volcano. Big pieces of rubble was raining down on her. One of the hot stone pieces hit her head. Leaving over her brow a big deep wound. The black blood was running over her face and disappeared with a loud hissing noise on the hot ground. Camari heard the screaming from her servants. The rain of stones and lava had reached them also. Lifting up her hand. With a fast move she build up a fist. Pressing her fingers together. Around the servants walls of fog appeared. The stones that hit against his fall to dust. The fog reacted toxic to the stones and destroyed their molecular structure. Now the servants could move on to reach the ghost realm.

Behind her a loud growling filled the night. The cage was open and the Unkara was free. Breathing in and watching how the last carriage with servants appeared in the forest before she turned around. The former and the current Ruler of the Empire was standing in front of each other.

It was some decades ago that both faced each other. Still stones dust and ashes was raining down on both. The eyes of the 328 feet high demon glowing in anger against the 5'2 tall female enemy. Of course it was a unfair fight but everything has its price. All color and blood was gone out of her finger as she wrapped stronger her hand around the sword. Her chest moving up and down heavy by every breath in and out.

None of them let the other out of the eyes. Like the Unkara was gazing down to Camari and started to growl Camari looked up to him without doing a noise. Minutes pass and both was standing at the same place not moving until the Unkara made the fest step forward. The growl out of his throat became louder, followed by a shouted mix of glowing spittle with hot breath as warning. To protect her she lift up the coat but the spittle was so hot that it burned big holes into the fabric. As the heat touches also the armor. Camari felt unwell and jumped away. "Still the same lame trick" She hissed out. Throwing the sword towards the Unkara. The beast did not wait until it was close enough to hit him and again blew out a loud hot shout to let the metal melt. He laughed out loud under the childish female try to hurt him with this small knife. "Never it would come through my skin, stupid woman." He said with a deeply voice as he got thrown back by a blast of ice cold wind. Shaking his head he fast got up on all four. But Camari was already vanished to attack him again from behind. She wanted to lead him up again to the volcano to lock him away there again. The palms of her hands facing each other. In between a small ball of energy appeared. The more she waited the more the ball was growing in her hand. As it was big enough, she threw the ball at the Unkara's back. Even the ball looked small it was filled with pure energy and smashed the big beast merciless on the ground.

Again the beast screamed out. Camari used the moment to run the hill up some more. Her attack has not really hurt the beast but make it more angry. Now she had his full attention and she started to chase her after he was back on all four. He was running after her and snapping with his mouth after her. She felt the hot breath in her back and how the earth under her feet was quake.

With a jump to the side she could rescue herself to not get bitten by the big sharp teeth. Sadly, the Unkara was faster than her. He lift up one of his paws and catches her before she was able to land back on her feet. He used her own speed and reckless action to thrown her up the hill. Hard she was landing on her back. Loud cracking of her bones that started to broke was to hear. A drunken scream of pain left her lips as one of her lungs started to fill with black blood. Just very slowly she was able to get back on her feet. Resting her back against a Rock that was close as the Unkara came close. Heavy she was breathing and with one hand she was holding her left costal arch. One of the broken ribs had pierced her from the inside. Her corsage was soaking slowly with blood. A weak smile appeared on her lips. There was just one way left to lock away that beast, she had to destroy herself to protect her folk and her land. With every minute this body got more weak. She knew, should she win this fight after a few days this body would never heal. Scars would be left and maybe more worse things.

Pushing her body away from the rock, she started to run up the hill again. The Unkara directly behind her. Again she felt the hot breath in her back but she gave not up. In her right hand another ball of energy appeared. Suddenly she was letting herself fall on the back . The Unkara was not able to stop and was over her as she fired the ball up towards him. It hit his chin and turned his half face into a ice block.

Desperately, he tried to get away the ice from his face and ignored Camari for a while. Unnoticed she could now run up to the entrance of the volcano. It was strange then no heat stroke over her face as she entered the entrance. It was a way to cold and soon she noticed why. Stones covered the passage to the volcano. Carry them away would need ages and blowing them away would call the Unkara in her direction. She was in a trap now. Her waist started to hurt more and as she started to cough her the inner of her hand turned black from the blood. She needed to hurry then the time was running out of her hands. Sneaking back to the entrance she gazed out to look for the beast. She did not saw him. Fast she pulled back to stay in the darkness of the entrance as she remembered that more far up was a second one. This would be her last chance. Allowing another gaze out as she saw him. He had free himself from the ice and was able to run up. She must be faster. Jumping out from the entrance and running up to the second entrance. Her left hand still on her side to hold the wound close. She felt that she was losing too much blood.

Her feet slowly failed to work. And before her eyes it was getting black. Very close she reached the second entrance. Also did the Unkara. While Camari was sinking on her knees the beast appeared behind her. She tried to crawl towards the entrance to be safe but the Unkara was faster. With the sting of his nose he speared her. Camari was not able to scream because the Unkara moved forward. Together with her he rammed the entrance of the volcano and the equally spilled passage. Then he threw her lifeless body into the entrance hall of the volcano.

The entrance hall was a large room which abruptly several meters down, crashed into a lake of lava. Behind the beautiful panorama of lava waterfall. Which once was the cage of the Unkara. Slowly the beast approached towards Camari. She was not able to move. Every bone in her body was broken. More she was dead than she was alive. Laying his big claws around her and lifting her up. He wanted to end the game and started to close his paw more. The crunch of broken bones could be heard throughout the room. A loud growl appeared out of his throat. "It is time that the true Ruler will enter the throne again. Enjoy your last breath."

But Cameri didn't breathed she started to laugh. It was weak and painful but she did. Open one eye as she gazed up to him. "No, the true ruler is on the throne and you will follow me or go back into your cage." But Cameri didn't breathed she started to laugh. It was weak and painful but she did. Open one eye as she gazed up to him. "No, the true ruler is on the throne and you will follow me or go back into your cage." Her words showed an impact now she had him where she wanted him. Directly he was stepping into her trap. With anger filled eyes he looked down to the woman that not want to die. "Mocked me, it will be the last time." He growled towards her and tighten his grip.

Camari tried to scream but just some drowning noises could be heard. The Unkara eyes glowing in anger. He was inattentive, and did not noticed he was standing in front of the lava waterfall. Slowly the head of Camari was sinking down. Blood was dripping out of her mouth. The Unkara started to laugh out loud. So long he had waited to kill her and finally it was done.

His triumphant laugh became louder. He did not notice that the lifeless body Camari's started to glow. Always bright was the light that flowed through her whole body until she finally exploded. The impact shattered his paw and pushed him backwards into the lava waterfall. Chains wrapped around his wrists and pulled him deeper in to the lava waterfall to lock him away. The Unkara growled out loud but soon was covered again from lava and the cage closed around him. On the floor where Camaris pool of blood was, began a Kristal to grow. Another cage of magic appeared to be sure he would not escape that fast again. Even the chains would broke this magical barrier would not break that fast. Now her people could start to return back. They was save. The Castle could be rebuild.

A whisper of a female echoed through the big hall "The old ruler is dead. Long live the ruler."
