The year is 2040 and the world has changed. The world changed because of the appearance of Gods and Goddesses in people’s dreams. They appear to ask you if they could give the person power. Well, most of the people that gain power have to go to battle with the other people that gained power. And also have to do whatever the God or Goddess says. It sounds bad, but you have to keep it a secret from the people that you care about. That is the hard part in everything. A man named Katsumi Sazama is 17 years old. He is a high school student in a school in Japan. It is called Fujitori Academy. A well-known school in Japan that holds smart and dumb people. From all ranges of experience with combat abilities and without combat abilities. They are given ranks. Katsumi is Rank F, which is the worst rank in the school. But he is a very good swordsman. He has long straight 1/3 red, 1/3 silver and 1/3 purple hair. He’s 5’9” tall. He is known as the Weakest Knight. But he holds in all of the grudges that he has with all of the others. He stood back a year because his family won’t allow him to graduate. So one morning, Katsumi wakes up and does his daily hygiene and then walked to Fujitori Academy.
Katsumi got to the entrance and saw a girl bending over and her underwear was showing and Katsumi didn’t really care about it till she saw him staring at her and then she saw that her skirt was up and Katsumi walked away and she said, “You saw didn’t you.” Katsumi answered, “I guess that I did. What of it?”
She answered, “I will fry you completely.”
Katsumi said, “OK. Please do. If you want to, that is.”
She heard that and said, “You have no remorse.”
His girlfriend, Maria Pierce appeared and said, “Of course he doesn’t. If you understand why he says the things he says, then you know why he doesn’t care about what your panties look like.”
She heard that and sent the fire toward him and Katsumi stood there and put his sword out and pointed at the fire and it disappeared in an instant and Katsumi said, “It seems that being an S rank student doesn’t mean anything. Because your flames will never touch my F ranks body.”
The girl heard that and Katsumi looked at her and walked toward her and picked up the stuff that she dropped and handed it to her and said, “There you go.”
He walked away and the girl said in a very shy voice, “T-T-Thank you.”
Katsumi said, “No problem.”
Katsumi sighed and looked at Maria and said, “It seems that you are a grade ahead of me now Maria.”
Maria laughed and said, “That’s right. Your family is a bitch. You are stuck as a 1st year in this school.”
Katsumi said, “Yep. You got that right.”
Katsumi walked to his class and waited there and then the bell rang and everyone walked into class and saw Katsumi sitting there and the girl from earlier appeared as well and Katsumi saw her and said, “It seems that we’re in the same class.”
The girl asked, “Was what that girl said really true? Because your family won’t allow you to graduate you can’t advance to the next grade?”
Katsumi answered, “Yes it is. And I don’t like people in general. But now that I’m in this class again, I might as well make new friends. While the rest try killing me.”
She heard that and Katsumi said, “The name is Katsumi Sazama. But you could call me Katsumi.”
The girl said, “I’m Rebecca Vermillion. The 2nd Princess of the Vermillion Family.”
Katsumi smiled and said, “A Princess, huh. It seems that you have a goal.”
Rebecca said, “I do. What about you?”
Katsumi answered, “Yep. I got one.”
His classmates stared at him and Katsumi said, “And that goal is to overthrow the Sazama Family.”
Everyone heard that and yelled, “What? Overthrow the Sazama Family. That’s impossible.”
Katsumi laughed and said, “Just kidding. My goal is to show my family how strong I really am. So they could count me in as a family member for once.”
Everyone heard that and said, “That’s sad.”
Katsumi laughed and said, “Not at all. I hate them all. The only family member that I could count on is my little sister.”
The 2nd bell rang and the teacher said, “Please be seated.”
Katsumi said, “Aye sir.”
The teacher said, “Shut up Katsumi.”
Katsumi said, “Yes ma’am.”
Rebecca said, “Even the teacher hates you.”
Katsumi said, “Not at all. She’s the one that helped me get into this school.”
The teacher said, “I’m Mikazuki Omori, your teacher for this year. Let’s begin with attendance.”
Katsumi said, “OK.”
Mikazuki said, “Shut up Katsumi. How many times do I have to tell you?”
Katsumi heard that and Rebecca said, “That’s harsh.”
Katsumi looked at her and Mikazuki said, “Katsumi Sazama. Please say something.”
Katsumi answered with an angry tone to his voice, “I’m here.”
Mikazuki heard that and asked, “Why are you so angry at the person that is allowing you to take classes this year?”
Katsumi answered, “You tell me to shut up and she was talking and you didn’t shut her up. That’s harsh man. I have feelings too you know.”
Mikazuki said, “You have a point. Well, it’s good to have you here Katsumi. But please don’t talk till I’m done speaking.”
Katsumi nodded and Mikazuki said everyone’s name and said, “Well, I’m going to say some things and you all might be interested in it. This year, we’ll be holding fighting events for all students. There are 3 day breaks between each battle. Any questions about that.”
Katsumi asked, “What is the fighting events for exactly?”
Mikazuki answered, “You should know that Katsumi.”
Katsumi said, “I’m not asking for myself. I’m asking for them.”
Mikazuki said, “Ah, I see. They might need to know this as well. The fighting events are for the top 6 competitors to enter the 9 Star Battle Strategy this year. The top 6 will be chosen by how many matches you won before the deadline.”
Rebecca said, “So only 6 people from this school will be headed there.”
Mikazuki answered, “Yep. 6 people from the 9 schools will be participating in the 9 Star Battle Strategy. Just like every year. We were number one 7 years ago. But every year after that, we didn’t do too well.”
Katsumi said, “Especially last year. We came in last.”
Rebecca said, “Let me guess, you are the reason they lost.”
Katsumi laughed and said, “Not at all.”
Mikazuki said, “Katsumi was isolated away from everyone. But only one person cared about his well being. And that was his girlfriend. She knows him quite well. And she knows how strong he really is. But his family doesn’t see that. Only she does.”
Katsumi said, “You already met her Rebecca.”
Rebecca said, “I did.”
Katsumi answered, “Yep. The girl that was telling you why I didn’t care about your panties.”
Rebecca said, “Ah, that girl.”
Katsumi nodded and said, “She is the only girl I came into contact with in my entire life. Well, I can’t wait for my first match though.”
Mikazuki saw a flashing light in Katsumi’s pocket and said, “Katsumi, your phone.”
Katsumi took his phone out and looked at it and said, “Huh. My first match for the fighting event is 3rd year Arinori Shiro. A man that has enough muscle to break my body in 2. His equipment is called Goliathan. Goliathan is an armor that covers his entire body and it’s hard as steel. No, I should say titanium.”
Mikazuki said, “That’s a hell of an opponent you got there Katsumi. When is the match?”
Katsumi looked and answered, “2 p.m. today.”
Mikazuki asked, “Do you have a plan?”
Katsumi answered, “Not at all. But I’ll win.”
Rebecca asked, “Are you sure that you can win?”
Katsumi answered, “Who knows. You’ll only know when you try. And I plan on making it to the 9 Star Battle Strategy this year. No one will be stopping me.”
Everyone heard that and Katsumi smiled and Mikazuki said, “Now that’s scary.”
Katsumi said, “The only scary thing for me is when I see my little sister again. I haven’t seen her for 7 years. That’s when I ran away from home.”
Mikazuki said, “And if she isn’t as you hoped?”
Katsumi answered, “Who knows. I might have to kill her.”
Everyone heard that and said, “Huh.”
Katsumi laughed and said, “Just kidding.”
Mikazuki said, “Stop joking around. It’s kinda scary.”
Katsumi looked around and everyone was nodding and Katsumi said, “I’m sorry.”
Rebecca said, “You say that a lot.”
Katsumi said, “Of course I do. I annoy people for a living.”
Mikazuki said, “Yes he does.”
Katsumi smiled and the bell rang for lunch and Rebecca asked, “What will you be doing?”
Katsumi answered, “Getting my lunch.”
He walked to the cafeteria and all of the upperclassmen started walking into him and then surrounded him and Arinori said, “Let me make one thing clear Katsumi Sazama. If you lose today, your girl is mine.”
Katsumi started to laugh and everyone heard that and asked, “Why are you laughing?”
Katsumi answered, “I don’t know why, but I feel like laughing.”
Maria heard that and Katsumi appeared behind them and walked toward the lunch lady and said, “I’ll take everything in doubles.”
The lunch lady asked, “Are you sure that you could eat all that?”
Katsumi answered, “Yes I can.”
The lunch lady made him 2 plates of everything and handed it to him and Katsumi put everything on a table and started eating it and the lunch lady said, “You forgot to pay.”
Katsumi took out money from his pocket and tossed it toward her and asked, “Is that enough?”
The lunch lady answered, “Yes it is.”
Katsumi smiled and Arinori asked, “Are you ignoring me brat?”
Katsumi answered, “Not at all. I heard you fair and square. I win, I get the girl and your head. Is that right Arinori?”
Arinori heard that and Maria answered, “That’s the agreement Katsumi.”
Katsumi said, “Oh yeah, I’ll take the girl and that’s it.”
Arinori said, “Yes. That’s only if you could defeat me Weakest Knight.”
Maria said, “He isn’t weak.”
Katsumi said, “Stop saying such things Maria. If he says that I’m weak, then wait till the match to see who really is weak or not.”
Arinori laughed and said, “I agree. And he just told you to shut the fuck up. Are you going to take that?”
Maria answered, “Yes I am.”
Katsumi was done eating and he put the dishes on the counter and said, “See you at 2 o’clock.”
Arinori asked, “Are you sure? Because I remember last year when you ran like a little bitch. You never came to our match.”
Katsumi left and said, “I’ll be there.”
He walked into the classroom and Rebecca asked, “Why are you so angry this time?”
Katsumi answered, “I will make you regret touching her Arinori.”
Rebecca heard that and Katsumi sat down and then the bell rang and the 2 competitors said, “I’m going to kill you.”
Mikazuki heard that and asked, “What did I do this time?”
Rebecca answered, “It’s not you. It’s his opponent.”
Mikazuki heard that and said, “This should be interesting. And it should be very entertaining as well.”
Katsumi walked out of the class and so did Arinori and they walked to the bathroom and Arinori asked, “Why are you here?”
Katsumi answered, “Waiting for the match. Why are you here?”
Arinori answered, “Same thing.”
They sighed and said, “It seems that we’re both here for the same reasons.”
They ran to the stall and took the meanest shits of their lives and an hour later, they finished and the announcer said, “Competitors Katsumi Sazama and Arinori Shiro, please get to the arena immediately.”
Katsumi said, “We just finished taking the meanest shits of our life. Will you hold on for a second?”
Arinori said, “I agree with my opponent. We’re kinda wiping our asses here.”
The announcer said, “Too graphic guys.”
They said, “Who gives a damn dammit. We’re not done with the bathroom.”
They finished wiping there asses and pulled their clothes up and and flushed the toilet and walked out of the stalls and said, “Holy shit. I ate too much.”
They walked to the sink and washed their hands thoroughly and said, “OK. Let’s get to the arena. Yep. I hope that we don’t have to take another shit again. That one hurt like a bitch.”
They walked to the arena together and everyone saw that and Arinori and Katsumi ran to a trashcan and started throwing up and the announcer asked, “Are you 2 ok?”
Maria laughed and answered, “They are fine. They just ate too much before the match.”
They stopped throwing up and then walked out on to the stage and said, “We’re sorry that we’re late. We had some important business to take care of.”
The commentator, Arisu Suko said, “Let’s get this match started then.”
Katsumi said, “Aye sir.”
Arisu said, “I’m a female dammit.”
Arinori said, “Who cares. Let the death of one of us begin.”
Arinori said, “Goliathan.”
His gear appeared on him and Katsumi said, “Come forth Scar.”
His sword appeared and Arinori said, “You can’t defeat me with a mere sword Katsumi. Your girl is going to be mine.”
Katsumi laughed and said, “My girl is going to mine, I daresay.”
Arinori laughed and said, “Let the match begin.”
The commentator hit the buzzer and Arinori flew toward him and Katsumi stood there and Arinori said, “You can’t do anything Weakest Knight. You fear me don’t you.”
Katsumi heard that and then disappeared and appeared behind him and swung at his gear and as soon as he turned around, Katsumi appeared behind him and swung at him again and continued to do that and Arinori yelled, “You bastard. You will pay for this.”
Katsumi stopped and Arinori turned around and swung at Katsumi and Katsumi jumped back and he said, “You are running away again. Just like last year Katsumi. Show me your true colors.”
He ran toward him and Katsumi lifted his sword up behind his head and as soon as Arinori got close to him, Katsumi swung downwards and cut the gear in half and Arinori saw that and ran into Katsumi’s elbow and Arinori flew on to his ass and Katsumi pointed his sword at his head and Arinori said, “I admit defeat.”
Katsumi slammed the sword into the ground next to his ear and said, “Smart choice man.”
The announcer said, “The F rank defeated an A ranked student.”
Arinori stared at Katsumi and saw his aura and Katsumi said, “Never touch her again.”
Arinori said, “Yessir.”
Maria smiled and Arisu said, “Quite amazing. His sword skills are quite amazing. But his family call him weak. He just cut titanium with a wooden sword. That’s no easy feat.”
Maria said, “The room that he was isolated in last year was made out of titanium. He attacked the walls out of anger of being lonely. He cut the room into shreds. You can’t defeat that Wooden sword. It’s name is Scar.”
Katsumi put it up and Arinori stood up and said, “He’s no normal F rank. He’s a bloody monster.”
Arisu said, “Before you left your family 7 years ago Katsumi Sazama, were you able to cut titanium?”
Katsumi smiled and answered, “Not at all. I couldn’t even cut cardboard. But being isolated in that room for an entire room is boring. And you know the feeling of being bored. So I started swinging at the walls that were made of titanium plates. I wonder if they could even cut titanium. Well, my grandfather is one of 2 people that I trust. And he is able to cut titanium. But the others, I don’t think they could.”
The principal, Rachel Monroe said, “They can’t. I tested them out 2 years ago.”
Maria smiled and said, “Your family will recognize you now.”
Katsumi said, “It’s not that simple to please them Maria. To please a Sazama, you need to be a champion. To become a champion, you have to go all-out on your opponents. And that was only half of what I could do.”
Rachel put a titanium plate right in the middle of the arena said, “Cut the titanium plate Katsumi. With one slice.”
Arinori nodded and Katsumi turned around and Rebecca yelled, “You can do it.”
Maria said, “Go for it Katsumi.”
Katsumi flew toward it and brought his sword back and swung it at the titanium plate and as soon as the wooden sword hit the titanium plate, a huge explosion appeared and everyone saw that and Katsumi growled and as soon as the smoke disappeared, Katsumi appeared behind the titanium plate and everyone saw the cracks in the wall and Katsumi looked at everyone and then collapsed and Arinori ran toward him and asked, “Are you ok.”
The titanium continued to crack and Rachel yelled, “Get out from behind there.”
Arinori heard that and saw it tilting and grabbed Katsumi and carried him out from behind the titanium plate and said, “Wake up Katsumi.”
Maria said, “He’s exhausted from making the titanium explode. There is no way any of us could defeat a monster like him. It would be a good idea to bring him to the nurse’s office.”
Rachel said, “I agree.”
Arinori carried him to the nurse’s office and said, “Here you go Katsumi. You really are insane. I’m sorry about your girlfriend. You truly are a monster.”
Arinori put him on the bed and while he was asleep, a Goddess of Death appeared in Katsumi’s dream and said, “Wake up Katsumi. I would like to speak with you about something.”
Katsumi didn’t hear her and then she yelled, “Katsumi Sazama, wake up dammit.”
Katsumi heard that and said, “OK. I’m awake.”
She said, “OK. Do you know who I am?”
Katsumi looked at her and answered, “A girl.”
She said, “That’s not what I meant.”
Katsumi said, “A female.”
She said, “That’s the same thing as you said before. I’m a Goddess of Death.”
Katsumi asked, “Did I die? If I did, thank you lord.”
She answered, “No you didn’t die dumbass. You are quite strong and you caught my attention. I’m Morta, a Goddess of Death. I would like to hand over my power to you.”
Katsumi asked, “What if I say no?”
Morta answered, “Then I would have to beg you. Plus, who is going to take care of all of the crime out there without harming any other civilian?”
Katsumi heard that and said, “That’s a police officer’s job.”
Morta said, “But what if I said that they could get civilian’s involved into the incident.”
Katsumi said, “You have a point, but why me?”
Morta smiled and answered, “Because of your ability to cut titanium. So what do you say Katsumi? Will you allow me to give you power or not?”
Katsumi asked, “What if I say yes?”
Morta answered, “We kiss, then the contract is sealed away. And then I’ll become a sword whenever you need me. Not a wooden sword though. It’s so that no one would know that it was you. Plus, you’ll have to use a pistol as well. And you’ll have the top of the line equipment. I guarantee you. Only use it for fighting crime. Not your friends. That’s what your wooden sword is for.”
Katsumi said, “It’s called Scar. And how would I activate this power that you will give me?”
Morta answered, “Say my name. That’s all. And there are no catches. I guarantee you that.”
Katsumi heard that and said, “OK. I accept your proposal. But you can’t bother me during school hours.”
Morta said, “No problem. So it’s a yes then.”
Katsumi answered, “Yep.”
Morta walked over toward him and said, “I am truly grateful Katsumi. Or should I call you sir or master?”
Katsumi answered, “It’s up to you.”
Morta said, “OK Katsumi. Are you really ready for me to kiss you?”
Katsumi sighed and answered, “Yep.”
Morta got close to him and then went on her tippy toes and kissed him and she disappeared and appeared as a black tattoo on his left forearm and the tattoo was all curvy lines.
