In Akgor, Maximus sat in a black chair, on a balcony, just beyond his room. He deeply inhaled all of the great smells of the different cuisines prepared on the long and well furnished tables below him; it would be cooked on nights for travelers that would pass by the town for a refresh. He looked up at the stars, his eyes grew distant. He started zoning off into his own world, thinking of many things, he often liked fantasizing on things like being a great warrior or exploring the unknown. He then came back to himself when he heard his brother Thomas yell out, "Brothers, I'm in need of your assistance right away, I can't hold him off any longer, Hurry!"

He dashed from his chair and grabbed an axe up from under his bed. Maximus started panicking and shouted aloud, "Thomas, I coming for you brother!"

"Dammit, who are the idiots that wanted to cause havoc in this peaceful town."

He ran from his room into the pitch black hallway, he then ran back to his room and quickly grabbed a lit candle from his small table and leaped forward into the dark hallway. He started to run at his best to save his little brother.

"Arrrgh, I can't hold him off much longer" Maximus heard this and ran even faster down the long, dark and silent hallway.

As he ran down the hallway, he saw a burly figure running towards him. When Maximus could hold up his lit candle to see what the figure looked like, he saw the monster like figure run up and smack his lit candle to the floor and causing a small fire.

He then pulled out his axe and started swinging wildly at the burly figure. It leaped over him and smacked him through one side of the hallway, outside the inn. Maximus was groaning while turning and the laying on his back, he saw the inns catching fire, people running in a frenzy, and heard the screams of other people around him. Then all of sudden, his hearing grew dull and his vision slowly blacked out.

As his vision came back, he slowly looked around; he turned his head towards the inn that was in complete ruins he quickly jumped up and started looking around him. The town was in complete ruin. There were piles upon piles of burnt corpses that laid on the paths he walked. He fell on his knees, his hands touched the ground which was soaked in blood. Maximus felt despair, fear, anger, and sorrow. Everything a survivor feels after a raid for the first time.

"Why did this have to happen?

Why have to happen, to me?,

What have i done to deserve this?..."

Maximus was thinking some many questions, and what could have he possibly done with himself when heard swords that clashed from afar. His eyes started tear. He thought he was loosing his own mind. But he heard it once more. His eyes widened. He quickly jumped up and started listening for the clash again.

He started walking straight across a wide area in the town, keeping his ears open to another clash. He heard it once more, and the sound came from behind. He turned around and looked at the cliff that was a couple of yards from the town. He started running and then stopped. He looked up at the cliff again he saw a large group and three poles that were put up.

Maximus ran as fast as he could have towards the cliff. As he came close to the cliff, he hid behind a large rock. He quietly bent down and started listening to the conversation they were holding.

"I fear that my plans will messed with, we must find him before he learns what he is able to do."

"Wait, what the hell, so you demolished a whole town looking for who?"

Maximus picked up the voice to be Valgor's voice.

"The One" the voice replied.

"The One?"

"Yes dammit, which one of you is it?" the voice yelled.

"Tell me or we will just go straight to killing all of ya."

"We don't what you're talking about lizard man."

Maximus picked up that voice to be Thomas's voice.

He close his eyes and said, "Thank the gods, he's still alive."

Maximus heard swords being pulled out of there sheaths. He started shaking for a moment. He then slowly turned and peeped from the side of the rock.

As he looked, he saw the soldiers all around his brothers, but there weren't human, they all looked like reptile creatures that were given the ability to walk on two legs. He then looked beyond the soldiers to the man that was sitting on the rock with his legs crossed. His eyes glowed in silver, he has a stocky build, his arms and shoulders were broad. He had markings that seem to glow in the moonlight. His hair went down to his waist at the tips were the heads of snakes. He had four swords, and two at were each side.

Maximus decided to bend down and wait for something to happen. The soldiers started walking closer towards the three brothers.

One soldier walked behind Thomas and said,"Do you know what happens to people that disrespect our leader?"

"I don't know, maybe this!"

Thomas quickly turned around and plunged his sword right into the soldier's chest. The soldier started coughing up blood, and then fell to the ground and moved no more.

The other soldiers were enraged by their comrade who had fallen to the hands of a man who they thought had no experience in using a sword.

"Heh, looks like the sparring paid off."

"Don't let the pride go to your head, young brother" Valgor said.

The soldiers charged at him, and the fight began. The three brothers kept the soldiers at bay. They started moving back toward the edge of the cliff. The burly soldier walked up to the three with a giant iron hammer. The soldier was massive, and had strange markings all along his arms.

"Any last words?"the soldier said.

The three brothers remained silent. The man stood up from the rock and started walking towards the three brothers saying,"I'll be the one to take their lives, for I only wanted to test them, and see how far they would've gotten killing you guys."

The burly soldier decided to kill them anyhow, and raised his hammer to the sky. And then suddenly he stop moving, and the soldier murmured a sound. He felt to his knees, and fell over the cliff.

The Leader was shocked, and he turned around and started looking frantically.

"Whoever you are come on out, and show yourself!"

"I'm right here," Maximus replied.

He was standing over a fallen soldier. And took the sword from its sheath.

"Let my brothers go, they didn't mean any harm, and we are not what you are looking for, or whatever it was you were looking for."

The Leader of the group looked at Maximus with his cold dead silvery eyes. Maximus had a terrible feeling in his gut. He thought that he wasn't going to do what he said at all.

"And why should i listen to you?" the leader answered back.

"Since, according to you, you all are not what we're looking for. I'll just kill you all, don't want to have any survivors around."

"That's enough!" Valgor shouted.

The three brothers started cutting down the rest of the soldiers, but they were also receiving bad wounds from the soldiers as well. Thomas was completely immobile for a soldiers sliced right across his stomach with his claws opening up his insides, making his guts hang out.

Thomas was screaming in pain.

"Thomaaass!" Maximus cried out.

He started running, but the leader dashed in front of him stopping his movement.

"Get out of my way!"

Maximus swung his sword upward, but the swordsman was to quick for his slow movement with the weapon. He moved behind Maximus and cuffed his head with the hilt of one his swords.

His brothers watched as he fell to the ground.

"Nooooo!" Valgor shouted.

Valgor ran over to him. He looked at his cold dead silvery eyes. He held the machete at his side. He was breathing heavily. He was infuriated. He then looked down at his brother on the floor, and then glared back at him.

"I don't know who you're looking for, but no one gets away with hurting any of my brothers."

The Leader took a step back and unsheathed his sword.

"Well, i didn't hurt your brother, but... if i did i would kind of look like this!"

He plunged his sword down through Maximus's back. The blood started soaking his silk shirt. Valgor was enraged and charged at the swordsman.

They charged at each other, and started clashing. Valgor then jumped back and tried to plunge him straight in the heart with his machete. The swordsman charged head on, but flipped backwards to the attack and pulled out two swords. Valgor charged at him but was knocked back by a wave of dark powers. The swordsman looked like he was possessed by some ancient demon.

He started twisting his body in all sorts of weird directions. He then fell to the ground, and his movement was still. Valgor thought it was his chance to finish him. He ran up to the swordsman, and as he bringing the machete down on his neck, the swordsman moved his arm and grabbed his sword in a flash.

Valgor struggled to free the machete from his grip, but there was no luck. The swordsman got up with the sword in his hand. Valgor loosed his grip from the weapon, and took up a sword from the ground. He then threw the sword into his eye.

The swordsman didn't flinch. Valgor was shocked. The swordsman was about to deliver the final bow. Bart comes from behind Valgor, and knocks him back with an unexpected amount of force from his hands. He then gets up and is hit with another set a force from behind.

Bart was ready to bring the force down on his neck, but the swordsman mysteriously disappears. Both Valgor and Bart looked around but saw no swordsman in sight. Valgor the runs to his machete. He bent down to pick up the machete, but it turned up and plunged into its right eye. Bart was in shock.

"What in the hell is going on?!" Bart shouted.

Valgor was screaming in pain. He was being lifted off the ground, and the swordsman's form was reappearing in front of him holding the machete in his eye. Bart dashed over and released the force through his feet. But the man disappeared behind Bart. With no warning, Bart was cut into multiple pieces.

The man walked over to Valgor, and swung the sword across his waist opening his insides. He then stuck the sword in his guts and started playing with it, slowly cutting all of his organs. Valgor was grimacing and screaming in pain.

"You bastard, you fucking bastaard."

"Well i mean you were the one that said i would pay for hurting your brothers, so i mean would anyone want to fight to the best of his or her abilities before they die?" the swordsman said.

Valgor pulled the machete out from his eye and tossed it over to Maximus. The clinging sound of the machete awoke Maximus from his slumber. Maximus opened his eyes saw the machete that was laying on the ground in front of him. Blood slowly flowing from the black machete.

He quickly got up, but fell back down from the wound in his back. He then slowly got up again. The swordsman looked at him curiously.

"Why get up and try to fight me, when you know you'll cut down faster then your brothers did?"

"I going to kill you if that's the last thing i do!" Maximus answered.

The swordsman starts laughing aloud. He then suddenly stopped laughing open realizing his arm hanging by a few muscles and tissues. He was completely shocked.

"When did you...?"

Before he could complete his question, Maximus plunged the machete into his back. Then after pulled the weapon right from the swordsman's back as he fell to the ground flat.

A storm came over the area, and started to rain heavily. Thunders would roar through the skies, and the rain poured down hard. Maximus was the blood flow out of the swordsman. He quickly ran to Thomas and held him up by placing one hand under his back. Tears fell from Maximus's eyes to Thomas's face. His forehead was touching his.

"Why, why, oh why did this have to happen, just why..."

After a few moments, he heard something move. He slowly rest down his brother and got up. He looked back at the place where the swordsman laid, but he wasn't there. He stepped back and kept his ears open for any small sound.

"It's hard for me to focus, if the rain around is distracting him," he thought.

Maximus wiped his face, so that he can see better. When he open his eyes the swordsman was right in front of him with the sword read to plunge the his face. He blocked the attack using reflex. The sound of swords clashin echoed through the air.

Maximus tried going for a strong quick hook to the jaw, but the swordsman ducked and jabbed at his side a couple of times breaking three of his ribs. He fell on one knee, and his body was ached with pain. He coughed up some blood and quickly sensed the man descending upon him from the air.

The swordsman came down with his sword in a flash. Maximus blocked the attack. He then quickly moved the sword to the side, spun around and plunged the machete right into his chest once more.

"Ahh, arrrrrrgh, oooof, arrrrrrgh!"

Maximus watched as the swordsman grew more muscular, his eyes grew wider, and his nails were extended. Within moments he rendered Maximus's waist.

Maximus felt very weak, his blood was pouring everywhere. He couldn't move one muscle. He started breathing deeply, as he watched the swordsman walking towards him. He grabbed him up by the neck. Maximus felt life flow from him as blood was pouring out of the wound in his waist. The swordsman tightened his grip around Maximus's neck. Maximus felt his eyes were ready to pop out of his head.

"I have to say, for a bunch of good for nothings, you guys are good at wielding weapons."

Maximus tried speaking, but couldn't. The swordsman loosened his grip for the young man to speak. Maximus started coughing and then glared at him.

"We are Kriegarian."

Maximus then started coughing up blood.

"Ah, i was wondering where your skills originated from," the swordsman said looking down below the cliff.

"You guys belong to a race of warriors, and there resides some of the most powerful kings to have ever walked the Alpha earth eh?"

The swordsman brought Maximus's face closer to his and said,"Guess what, they will be no more after i have killed the King. I will then take his head a wear it as a chain around my neck showing all that the "True King" has returned. To bad you won't seeing that day for your fate has come to this."

The swordsman showed Maximus the depth from where the stood. Maximus grew angry and tearing.

"I don't care what you do to me, all i have are two things to say to you. If i die in this drop, then i guess i'm no more and the world may be yours, but i don't... you will be sorry you've done this evil to me."

The swordsman started laughing aloud.

"Well, let me make sure you don't survive this fall then. Simple."

He then plunged his sword into both his legs. They started pouring with blood. Maximus felt the last bit of life he had slip away.

Maximus opened his eyes one last time.

"I will survive, and by the gods of Alpha, I will come back. And, I will slay you, believe me, I will get you get you back, for all my brothers, all the pain you put me through, both physically... and mentally..."

"Go ahead and try" The swordsman looked away to the town, then turned back and glared at him.

"You or anyone that tries to mess with my plans will fail miserably, so please come back and i will gladly be your end. Don't worry i will give you the best death a man could ask for, believe me boooyyy."

The swordsman then threw Maximus off the high cliff. As he was falling, he watched up at the night sky, he then focused his vision on the swordsman looking down at him, all the pain he felt faded away, then everything slowly turned black...

2: Chapter 1
Chapter 1

                                                                                  Chapter 1

"A new reign of terror is coming…" Part 1

Maximus eyes immediately opened, but his focus wasn't straight. Everything he saw was very swirly and wavy, and chaotic… He slowly got up from the ground and saw the machete laying on the ground. He slowly bended down took up the weapon. He then started crawling away into the Forest.

In another part of the forest, Anila sits, relaxing on a thick branch on top a tall arched tree, she always enjoyed the cool breeze that passed by and softly touched her black fur.

She looked at her arms, and then her body. She grew angry looking at herself.

"Why am I like this?, What are these markings?, Why do I feel and act different from everyone else?"

Anila was really frustrated at who she was. She skillfully went down the tall arched tree, and started walking on the path towards the village. As she was walking, she stumbled over a stone and fell face first into a muddy path.

"Dammit, It got in my mouth." she said being heavily disgusted.

She got up and looked around, and she was a little shocked by the amount of men that appeared of the forest. She looked at each one of them. Her heart pounded heavily, she thought to grab the knife from her waist, but she remained still.

"Hello there, young lady" one man started, "Are you lost?"

"So you must be the leader?"

"Why, yes I am."

"Why don't you hurry up, and talk about what you really came here for?"

"Well I, I mean, we all thought you were lost and…"

"Well I told you I'm not, now continue on your way to wherever you were going to, If that's all you wanted to know" Anila said.

"Ok then…" the man replied calmly.

All the men formed a wide circle around her. The leader walked slowly to here and said "Now we will do what came for. We are gonna strip, fuck, then kill ya."

"Do you think you humans could hold down an animal, and try to fuck it without a fight?" Do you think you have what it takes?

"Of course we could, what you think we're a bunch of good for nothings?"

The man tried to grab Anila's shirt, but missed and grabbed her necklace. Anila quickly grabbed the knife from her waist and she sliced his hand right off in that moment.

It fell straight to the floor, and the leader was in complete shock.

"Aaaah, shit, dammit, Whyddya do that?!"

The others were still for they themselves were trying to catch up with what had happened. Anila hopped outside the circle and ran deeper into the shadows of the forest. The leader looked up at his group.

"The hell ya'll standin' here for, Kill her!"

All the men quickly turned and ran after her, but one stayed behind. This man was burly, the strongest in the group, a torso that stretched as long as the width of two grizzly bears and so he rooted a tall tree out of the ground with his hands. He picked up the tree and kept it on his right shoulder, and walked into the shadows.

All the men ran as fast as they could behind the animal. She then vanished before their very eyes. They all kept running until they reached an open area of the Forest. The distorted roars and screams of the Forest had the group shivering in fear.

"Come on out oroszlan, you can't go any further, and I would be damned to see you go any further in this forsaken forest" one man in the group said.

They all had their backs to each other. Each of them heavily focused, looking all around them.

"You know, you're right. If I go any further, I could get myself into danger. And that is exactly why I went far enough; I knew one idiot would try throwing large objects at me, since I'm very agile."

"Wait, what, who would do that, when we could just use our bows, we're hunters."

A tree flew over the group of hunters and crashed into a tree nearby, and knocked the tree to the ground. They looked back into the shadows and watched as the burly man walked out carrying another tree on his shoulders.

"Did you guys kill her yet?"

"There she is" one cried as she was running on the tree the burly hunter carried on his back.

The burly man threw the tree into the forest, all the hunters cheered for they thought the oroszlan was killed.

A sudden loud and distorted roar came echoed through the forest. The forest was trembling and the earth beneath the men was shaking. The hunters looked and prepared themselves for the beast was coming from the shadows. The roar grew louder, the earth started to break apart, trees started falling down. Then everything silenced. The men started running, but turn around and realized they were blocked off by the trees.

The distorted roar echoed loudly through the forest again. The group looked back at the shadows, and out of it came a giant turtle monster with a crooked face, and eyes on its chin. Its tongue was very long and came out threw the side of its neck. It shell had the faces of many people on it. It shell gave off the cries of many people who were being put through great torment.

The sound struck the group with fear. One went completely insane and started to run away. The monster quickly snapped him up and put him inside his mouth. The monster chewed on the man, it gave off horrible sounds. The rest were truly afraid.

The hunters looked up and spotted the armored Cyclops above the monster.

"So I see you like throwing huge objects into a Cyclops face, huh?"

"I have you know that tree nearly hit me in the eye."

One hunter foolishly fired and arrow into the Cyclops eye, and the Cyclops grew very angry.

"Aaaah, my eye, the only fucking eye I have. These foolish men come and take out my only eye. Kill them. Kill them all."

The monster started vicious pulling the men into its neck. The burly hunter pulled up a tree and threw it straight at the Cyclops body, knocking him off the back of the monster.

He then jumped back and pulled up another tree, but he could throw the monster caught his leg and pulling him into his neck. He grabbed the tree as tight as he could. The monsters pull was becoming stronger; it started pulling both the tree and the hunter. He looked around to see what he could do, he grabbed on to another tree.

Anila popped up from behind the tree and looked at the hunter.

*Gasp* "It's you!"

"Yes, you like sending people into their deaths, huh?"

"How 'bout I send you to yours"

"Wait, please! Don't!"

She pulled out her knife, and plunged it right in his shoulder.

"Aaaaaah, curse you oroszlan! ghaaa…"

The hunter was slowly grinded up in the monster's mouth.

She went back to where the leader laid. She hopped down from the tree and landed in a kneeling position. She extended her claws looked up and was shocked. The leader's head was in the hands of another wounded man.

The wounded man was looking at the head for a moment then dropped it. He fell to his knees and crawled towards the oroszlan.

"Please don't eat me… I... must... live on, please..."

The young man was shaking, and blood start flowing from his wounds.

"That's like a fish who asks a whale not to eat him, for he has a family to take care of."

"Please…"

The young man's head fell to the ground. Blood flowed slowly from him. Anila walked over to the man and turned him over to closely examine his wounds. Her eyes widened. She looks up, shivering and says "Oh Istenia, please, help us all."

3: Chapter 2
Chapter 2

                                                                               Chapter 2

"A new reign of terror is coming…" Part 2

Anila relaxes outside her hut looking up at the sun. The thought still stormed her mind of "Him" coming back. She was near a river. The area was filled with the beautiful vibrant colors of the birds that chirped beautifully in the trees. She then started dozing off for a short while, and afterwards decided to fall asleep.

When she awoke, the sun was setting. She looked inside her hut for the young man that lay resting on the ground, but didn't see him at all. She grabbed her spear and stepped out of the hut in search for the man.

Anila took a short walk along the river, cautiously looking around her for anything suspicious. She then stopped to find the man kneeling on the ground staring at the river. Both were still for a moment.

Anila felt a little uncomfortable with the silence, so she spoke first.

"So, you must be a kriegarian, seeing the markings on your chest and back."

"Yes, I am" the man replied.

"What's your name by the way?"

The man looked at her for a moment, and turned his head back down watching the river.

"Maximus" the man replied.

"I'm Anila, Pleased… to meet you?"

She looked directly at Maximus's wounds, and her mind immediately flashed back to when she was a girl. Everything turned black and then immediately turned white.

Anila was walking with her parents along the road of Shicragar, one of the poorest Towns in the Alpha lands. The Town was heavily populated. Thievery and Killings happened at a rapid pace in Shicragar. Anila and her parents were passing through the town to reach their true home in the Forest.

As they left the gates of the town, returning to the Forest, a group of figures arose from out of the earth. They looked like lizards that were heavily scaled. They quickly spread out in front of the family, and some unsheathed the swords while others pulled out hammers and axes from their backs.

"Who are you, and do you want with us?" the father demanded.

The creatures didn't respond.

"Oh, so we're silent now!" the father said with an excited voice.

Both Parents pulled out their weapons. The father pulled out his legendary long sword "Jair", and the mother pulled out two legendary knives "Hazael and Jadon" carrying the phrase "God sees, he will judge". The leader came out and was watching in amazement.

"Could it be the two legendary weapons of Holy Knights?"

"Well, that's what the legends say about them" the father replied.

"But we didn't come here to talk now did we" the mother said.

The leader glared at the Little Anila, fear quickly crawled up here spine. The he looked back at the parents.

"No, I've come to kill all who would possibly stand in my way in becoming the next ruler of this world. You two are people that would definitely stand in the way of my plans, and well I just simply can't have that. Plus, you have two good weapons that I've always wanted to get my hands on. So in short, I'm going to take your lives today."

He started glaring at them with a large grin. But then suddenly grew serious. Four swords that were enshrouded in darkness appeared. They floated around him, and the four swords were then placed evenly at his sides.

Little Anila grew afraid. Her mother quickly bends down and placed her hands on both Anila's little shoulders.

"Mommy, I'm scared" Little Anila said with tears flowing down her face.

"It's going be okay sweetie; we'll get through this and go home together, ok?"

They both looked at each other for a moment and the mother continued saying, "Now I want you to go behind the rock behind you, I don't want you to get hurt, you hear me?"

"Yes, Mommy"

"Now go"

Little Anila looked up at her mother one last time, then turned and ran behind the rock, kneeled and prayed to the Holy God of Alpha for their safe return. The leader raced his hand and gave the signal for his minions to attack. The soldiers charged at the two oroszlans.

"Those weapons shall be mine" the leader said calmly.

They were amidst thirty creatures. All the creatures stopped as they raised their weapons. Their eyes were full of light, and their weapons glowed with a vibrant white aura. After a moment of the group being afraid, the leader yelled at them telling to go on and kill them.

"Don't just stand there, they're just bluffing, they can't really use those weapons. Now kill them now!"

All Little Anila hear were soldiers charging, blood splattering, swords being shattered, and bones being broken. The loud agonizing screams of the soldiers were heard as these happenings took place. One by one they were brought down by the two oroszlan warriors.

There were only five skillful lizard creatures left. Anila peeped around to see what was going on. She saw pool of blood and body parts everywhere with her parents wounded in the middle of it all. The site made Little Anila throw up, but she continued looking at the battle.

The father went to finish the remaining creatures, but was overwhelmed by their skills and was finally brought down. The soldiers looked at him and smiled.

"Now, we're going to bring you your wife's head so that you can die together, looking in each other eyes Hahahahaha!"

Anila's father looked at them all and smiled.

"You guys will be looking at me for a very long time to come, much less kill her"

"What?" the soldiers replied confused.

Anila's father eyes turned dark, and all the soldiers were petrified. He sacrificing himself with the sword held in his hand, turning it into to stone; never giving evil a chance to wield its power.

The man infuriated by the act walked over to the wounded oroszlan. Little Anila ran towards her mother and looked at the man. She grew terrified looking into the man's cold dead eyes.

"Stay away! Leave my mother alone. We don't want anything to with you!" Tears started falling down Little Anila's face as the man came closer.

"Mommy, Mommy? We have to get out here, the man is coming. Sniff, mommy?"

"I can't Dear, My legs won't let me"

Anila looked down at her mother's legs; the bones were severely broken, open fractures all over. Her side was an open wound with her guts hanging out.

"Mommy" Anila said stuttering.

The man stood over them both. Anila looked up at him, and he glared down at her smiling.

"Anila dear, I want you to go back behind the rock now; mommy doesn't want you to get hurt."

The mother was shivering slightly. The man smiled at the young girl.

"You really do what your mother said. You don't want to disobey her now, would you?"

"I'm sorry it turned out this way Anila, but you can't stay here, it's too dangerous"

Her mother tapped Anila's right shoulder and she disappeared and reappeared behind the rock.

The man reached out his hand to the mother.

"Hand me the weapons"

"Anything, just don't hurt my daughter, please, cough"

The man grinned.

"Ok, just give me the weapons and she'll live"

The mother gave the man the weapons. The man, being happy he had the weapons, immediately dropped them, and grabbed the mother's neck with both his hands. As he was squeezing her neck, he look at her angry and said, "She will live, but you will die for slaying my subjects"

He slowly pulled the mother's head apart from her body. She gave out a shrill scream. Anila heard the voice echoed through her mind. She ran from behind the rock to meet her mother.

Her flashback started fizzing. She then saw herself holding her mother's head in her hands. Then it faded out and immediately there was a man holding her face.

He said, "Don't worry; this is all being done for a purpose. You may not understand now, but you'll see eventually. A new reign of terror is coming, and I'm to be leading the new world. And you all will be enslaved, thus bringing forth a new age of ruling were "we" will be the gods that you pray to now. Chaos shall rule."

Anila's flashback faded out. She woke up on the ground, breathing heavily. She shot up from the ground and looked around frantically.

"Anila, take it easy, you're in your hut" Maximus said looking at her in shock.

"Are you alright?"

There was a pause. Anila's breathing increased in speed, her heart was pounding at a fast rate, here eye widening to abnormal widths, her veins pulsing at high speeds, blood flowing at her mouth. She screamed at the top of her lungs. Her body started shaking uncontrollably for a short while, and then she immediately collapsed to the ground and laid still.

"Anila!" Maximus shouted.

Anila slightly opened her eyes and looked at him.

"Yeah… Yeah, I'm fine…"

4: Chapter 3
Chapter 3

                                                                                 Chapter 3

After a long sleep, Anila opened her eyes. She looked at Maximus was sitting near the entrance of her hut looking at her. She then sat up on the ground, took a deep breath, and started explaining.

"I don't know why it happens, it's very painful, and it has been happening since I was stung by that Carcass Bee."

"I know."

"Wait, you knew?"

"Of course I knew. The experience that you had last night was more than enough evidence to say you got stung by one, but that fact you're still alive still puzzles me, I've seen many people die because of the experience you had."

"How, I guess you guys hunt right?"

"We Kreigarians love hunting, but sometimes we get caught in some bad scenarios."

"Here, eat this."

Maximus handed Anila a fruit.

"What is this?"

"It's a corpal fruit, they're found on congu trees. I forgot I had one with me."

Anila ate the small fruit in two bites. Maximus stood up and walked out the hut with the machete strapped to his back.

"Where are you going?"

Maximus stopped and turned towards her.

"I'm going to see my father's brother King Garditus, and search for the man that killed my brothers."

"May I aid you in your quest?"

"You may" Maximus said as he smiled.

"It's a long travel to that destination, are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yes" Anila replied.

They both got prepared and headed off east of the forest. As they strolled through the forest, they came across many sites. They didn't venture into many of them for they looked too scary for just two beings to walk and venture into them…

They sometimes hid in trees from colossal creatures that roamed the forest. Very few monsters were kind enough to let them ride, others were too hostile. They often ran away when being chased instead confronting them. Some were too large to notice if anyone as small as they were on them at all.

They had traveled forty days and forty nights in the forest. They ran out of rations and were slowly starving. They came out into a wide open space. There was a small lake; the place gave off a weird radiance compared to the other parts. Everything was more vibrant in color. The sight was just amazing after seeing forty days and nights of dull colors and terror.

They spotted the cabin near the lake. Anila was too suspicious of the area.

"It's a trap; I don't think we should go any further."

"But if we don't eat something then we'll soon perish, or you'll have no choice but to me."

Maximus walked towards the cabin, Anila followed.

They went in the cabin and took a look around for any food they could've gotten, but saw no food in sight. As they walked out, three dark cloaked figures stood in front of them.

"Hi, umm… is this your cabin? We thought…"

"Yes, it is our cabin" they replied.

"Who brought you here?"

Michael and Anila look at each other then looked back at the three figures.

"No one, we came out here and happen to cross this place by chance."

"I see."

The three figures took off their hoods. There were two men and one girl, but they all looked elderly. The figures walked good distance from Maximus and Anila. They then formed a circle, rose their hands like they were performing a magical spell, and suddenly a large table rose from the earth. Afterwards, they turned and asked them to join them.

As they walked over to sit at the table, beautiful cuisines started appearing on the large table. The aroma filled both Maximus and Anila's noses, and opened their appetites. They both sat down and ate till their stomachs were filled. They offered them a place in the cabin to rest.

After three days of rest, Maximus and Anila were really suspicious of the fact that the three people didn't speak at all for those three days. They both walked out the cabin and found the three people sitting on the large table talking amongst themselves.

"Hello."

"Good Morning" the three people replied.

"How you guys don't talk much?"

"Sorry for not introducing ourselves."

They lady up and said, "I'm Vana."

The two men stood also and said, "I'm Tader, and I'm Darzo."

"We are happy to meet you, we don't many kind travelers" Vana said.

They all smiled at each other.

"So what has determined you two to travel such a great distance?"

"Wait, how did you know we traveled far?" Anila demanded.

"Simple, one you guys looked very hungry and tired when we met you and two, the markings on this man's chest signifies that he was Kriegarian, and three, we have lived for thousands of years."

Maximus cleared his throat and said, "We were on our way to meet King Garditus."

"King Garditus? You don't say?" Tader asked with suspicion.

"I wonder why?"

"I want to know where my father went and is he dead. I would also like to know who the person who killed my brothers."

The figures smiled.

"Sadly, you won't get those answers from him" Darzo replied.

"Your father is dead."

"Shut up, I don't believe you!"

Maximus drew his machete and swung it down on to Darzo's head. But his arm froze just before cleaving Darzo in two, and his weapon dropped from his hand.

"We are old, but that doesn't mean we cannot brake if need be young one. Now listen to what we have to say, it might help in some way."

Maximus grunted.

"I agree, let's listen to what they have to say" Anila said.

Maximus cursed.

"Fine then, this had better be true"

"Oh, it is alright" Tader replied widening his eyes.

"Well, how did my father die then?"

"Your father's murder was told throughout Alpha" Tader explained.

"Your father was a powerful Kriegarian; he has gone up against fierce opponents and has won. But your father worked under a secret organization called the "The Unforgiven". Through that he has done lots of evil that he wasn't aware of until the meeting sixteen years ago."

"Wait "The Unforgiven" yeah I think I've heard some rumors about them. But what happened in that meeting sixteen years ago?"

Vana continued saying, "That meeting comprised of all the Kings and Queens of Alpha, except the King of Kriegarians, King Frage. When your father came from that meeting, he was speechless and told the public nothing of that meeting. A year ago you father executed by the elite of the Krieg Empire for his commitment not to spread a word about what took place in that meeting."

"How could the elite kill my father without the King's order?" Maximus asked with an enrage voice.

Anila's eyes were closed, and she said nothing but had her ears open to the information she wanted.

"The elites of the Krieg Empire are not people the King owns"

"How does that even make sense, How is the King a King if he has no control over the execution of his people? I don't think you're the truth" Maximus said. Anila agreed.

"True, but the elites of every kingdom all play a role under "The Unforgiven" Vana said with slight sigh.

"Ok, so what is their ultimate goal?" Anila asked.

"That is something we don't know. What we do know is that they have lots of events that will take place, and it has been in planning for years. We can break their plans if the people of Alpha would open their eyes and take closer look around them, but that is probably a lifetime work in itself; it's almost hopeless if we have no one that is willing to stop them in their tracks."

"So, I guess you wouldn't have the slightest idea of who the leader of the organization is right?"

"Of course not, your father also said something interesting, two years ago, about a month after the meeting. He stated that he wasn't in the room, but he was outside listening to the conversation being held. Towards the middle of the conversation he saw radiance of light from the bottom of the door. We're not sure what if he was telling the truth, but sounds as though some celestial beings are involved in the matter."

Vana took a sip of water from a cup on the table. Maximus was in deep thought, and Anila was silent along with the other two men. Then Anila opened her eyes.

"I have a few questions that I would like to ask"

"Throw them right at us, my dear"

"There is a certain man with cold dead eyes. I have seen none like him. He is truly a unique mercenary, but he seems possessed by some type of dark creature, and he's killed my mother and father"

"He's also killed my brothers" Maximus said.

"I will answer that question" Darzo said with his great deep voice.

"It is said the if a swordsman follows the way of the sword, he would truly have what me most desires. A true swordsman would want to protect anyone that is in danger, but some are just cutthroats, and when the follow the way of the sword their minds get swallowed into the Flood Gates of Darkness. Some can be controlled better than others, like what you two have experienced. Others turn dumb and rot away; they could not be used for darkness, so the darkness simply devours them from the inside out."

"Goodness, so much questions" Maximus murmured.

"So, what are the Flood Gates of Darkness?"

"I'll answer this one" Tader said.

"Along time ago, uh before the pages of history were written, uh guys, I think I forgot."

Vana sighed.

"Alright, here it goes. Long, long ago, the land of Alpha was inhabited by a Group of Ancient Knights that lived life according to a book that was there before even the Knights, or so the legend says… It was called "The Emperor's Book". All the laws of Alpha were followed by that book. It taught all of existence how to learn, protect, and have dominion over all the celestial bodies of the entire universe.

But One day, it was told that one knight grew tired of following the rules that were given, and wanted to try something "new". The more the knight thought about it, the more twisted ideas grew in the knight's mind. And he suddenly snapped.

Legend has it that he waged war on Alpha with his army. But no one knows the outcome of that battle."

"Ok, still doesn't answer my question of how the Flood Gates of Darkness came to be"

"Don't worry, I was getting to that" Vana said after drinking the rest of her water.

"It is said that the Flood Gates were unlocked after the "Error in History". The Error in History was a time when the all the kingdoms of Alpha were plagued by a powerful dark wind the enshrouded the land for about a day. Ever since that day people naturally started forgetting and grew crueler to one another.

And thus, we started losing something in us all.

"Unconditional Love"

Believe or not it is love that carries us, connects us, and empowers us all to live and have dominion over the entire universe. If we don't restore that bond within us all, we would all soon meet out demise. And we wouldn't be able to continue on the life that was in store for us from the beginning. And according to the legends, that is what was followed throughout Alpha."

"Or in the world of before…"

"Alright, so how do we restore it to the world of before?" Anila asked.

"The task is not easy. But you must destroy the "Five Seals of Chaos"

"That shouldn't be too hard right?"

"The first seal is up on top Mt. Coudei (Co-u-dei), you must be careful climbing up there. That mountain has a history of lots of warriors who have climbed to slay the beast, but had never come down. Its climate is extremely cold, so you should go with these cloaks."

Maximus and Anila were given the cloaks and a week's worth of ration.

"I mean I know your names, but what are you guys?"

"We are three elders of time" Tader replied.

"Let me tell you one more thing young warriors" Darzo said.

"The world of Alpha goes threw three major spins before it evolutes."

"I know what evolution means, but what would this world evolve into?"Maximus said with a curious look.

"Well not necessarily the world, but new inhabitants would be created. The world could evolve for the good or bad. When it has a good balance, the world spins a positive axis. But in a bad balance, the world spins on a negative axis, and it's already been through two major spins."

"What happens if it completes the last spin?" Anila said with a concerned look.

"The world would be destroyed and all the inhabitants and history, languages, and lands thereof would disappear forever, and if the book is on this world when being destroyed, the whole universe could disappear forever."

Maximus and Anila faces were filled with shock.

"How long is it until its third cycle?" Maximus said deeply concerned.

"It is not too far off from its third cycle. From our calculations, it should be about 30 years before the third cycle" Vana said.

"But if it turns negative before we can reach it…"

"Then we all disappear, and their plans will finally have been complete. The universe would be ruled under a new rule, forever" Tader said.

"How will do disable their plains?" Anila asked.

"First you two must defeat the Seal in Mt. Coudei. Then meet us at the Tazar Empire, they will hold another meeting there."

Maximus and Anila started their journey towards Mt. Coudei. As they got closer to the mountain, the climate started becoming extremely cold, but it wasn't a normal climate change. They looked all around them the trees were still green with energy.

They walk another twenty days and nights. The climate for them only grew colder. They hid in the broken trees every short while in fear that something was preying on them. It was the awkwardness of seeing so many corpses, but there were no monster in sight.

Anila walked over and took a closer look at a pile of corpses near an old forest tree.

"Something is not right" Anila said looking at the bones even closer.

"What is the problem?" Maximus asked walking back towards Anila.

"Look at this skull. If there's a seal up there, it should be sleeping. But it seems as though something else up there preventing all the previous warriors from slaying the beast. Unless, the seal could fight and defend itself all on its own."

"That is a good point" Maximus replied.

The kept on walking towards the mountain. As they reach the mountain, Michael felt his hands grow completely numb. They both were shivering from the blizzard.

"Man, it's really cold, and we haven't started climbing the mountain yet."

"Yeah, I know, this is really crazy" Anila replied.

They both looked up putting their numb hands onto the frozen rock and started climbing "the mountain of no return".

"This is it" Maximus with a sigh.

"Yup, it is" Anila replied.

5: Chapter 4
Chapter 4

                                                                                         Chapter 4

Maximus and Anila have been climbing up the mountain for about a year. They have been surviving off the wild beast of the mountains. They would rest in small caves to rest their sore muscles. They were closed to what appeared to be the summit.

"Look Anila, we're nearing the summit."

"Thank the gods of the heavens, we're finally near" Anila replied.

As they got closer to the summit, they saw the corpse of a large knight kneeling down with his sword plunged in the ground. The climbed to the top and took a closer look at the Knight. It didn't have a helmet; neither did it have his head attached. Its rib cage was crushed inwards. Its cape was shredded a way, leaving a few strings attached to its back. Its sword was greatly damaged and frozen all over, looked like it was going to break at any moment.

Anila was thinking about what could've killed a knight of that size. She was in deep thought for a moment. Maximus then called her over to show her the depth of the gorge. Both were amazed never seeing a gorge so long before.

"Why is it so wide?" Anila asked.

"Not really sure. There's actually a history behind this mountain, but I never bothered to read about it. It wasn't really in me to venture out of my own village. Not until now of course"

"Hey, I just noticed something" Anila said.

"What is it?"Maximus turned back.

"It's not freezing anymore"

"You're right. I wonder, maybe it could be the night"

Maximus looked up behind Anila and drew his machete.

"Anila run!"

She ran towards Maximus and turned around, while taking the bow from behind her back and pulled back three arrows, ready to release at anytime.

A giant varynxus stood in front of them. Its eyes were as white as the snow. However, one had a scar over the eyelids, from the forehead to just over the mouth. The animal was extremely built all over. Its jaws were broad and wide. Its teeth were sharp, but some were broken.

The varynxus glared at both of them

"Why did you two travel up here? Have you not heard of the tale of the people that came up here?"

"We have" Maximus replied.

There was a sudden pause, the young warriors looking at the varynxus and the creature smiled.

"So you came up here anyways, knowing you were going to die."

"No" Anila replied. "We came here to defeat the Seal of Chaos that rest within the gorge of this mountain."

"You've been here before?" the varynxus looked at her suspiciously.

"No, I could just feel it. The dark presence is powerful. It even fills the very air of this mountain, and the inhabitants of this world are fading away slowly because of it."

"Well then, I suggest you stay right here and let me eat the both of you. I won't allow you to go any further."

Maximus turned around and started walking towards the gorge. Anila followed. The varynxus jumped in front of them and roared. Maximus had his hand front of his face, but as he dropped his hand the beast was upon him.

As the varynxus was just about to sink his teeth into Maximus, Anila quickly plunged her knife into the scarred eye of the beast. But the beast fought through the pain and slapped Anila across the summit deeply wounding her left arm.

Maximus struggled with his blade to keep the teeth of beast from shredding him into pieces.

"I did not travel all the way up the mountain, to be your next meal!"

The varynxus raised its paw to crush his skull, but Maximus rolled from under the beast and quickly cut open the beast stomach. Its guts where hanging out, and large amounts of blood was pouring from its wound.

Maximus started running towards Anila.

"Maximus look out!" Anila yelled out.

In a split moment, the beast was upon him once more. Maximus wildly swung his blade hoping that it would damage the varynxus face, but he missed and the claw dug across his waist. He spun on the ground and was still.

Anila stood up and pulled two arrows back on the string as the creature finally came to finish her. As the beast came closer, she released the arrows. Blood was spilled.

The beast was dead with one arrow in its eye, and the other in its head. She tried jumping back, but felt extreme pains from her waist. She looked down and saw the teeth of the varynxus still gripped to her flesh. She tried opening the jaws of the beast, but couldn't get it to budge.

Maximus then crawled over and used the support of the beast to stand on his two feet. He then helped Anila pull the jaw bones apart. She fell back on the ground holding her side as it slowly healed. After a little while of resting in the cold, Anila felt better, but so ready to go on. She slowly rose to her feet.

"Oh my goodness, Maximus are ok? We should get out of here, it's not good for us to be here too long" Anila sadly looking at Maximus.

"We can't"

"Why?"

"We went too far"

"What do you mean "We when too far"?" "Look at us, Look at you. You look like you couldn't take another lash of this weather." Anila looked at Maximus in shock.

Maximus got up, walked over and picked up his machete. He looked at her and then continued walking towards the gorge.

"So you're just going to continue walking into your death, is that it?"

"No Anila"

"What are doing then? You're definitely not going to defeat the Seal in the state you're in"

"That's where you're wrong Anila"

"How" Anila looked at Maximus completely puzzled.

Maximus looked back at her, and there was a pause. He then raised his weapon high.

"You have to dream to that dream. A dream in where a world has to suffer darkness no more. A dream in where there would be everlasting peace. A dream in where we could live forever Anila. That is the dream I'm going to make a reality."

Maximus put down his arm and jumped down the gorge. A tear came down Anila.

"How could I have been so foolish, as into forget the reason of why we pursued this journey in the first place?"

She plunged an arrow into the ground, took up her bow and follow Maximus down the gorge.

As they got closer to the bottom of the gorge, everything around them grew darker.

Maximus yelled out to Anila and told her to grab one of the chains connected to the giant below. As they both jumped to the ground, they quickly recovered to the feet and looked up at the giant.

"Have you come to throw me off a cliff again?"

"No. We've come to break the seal" Maximus replied looking at where he thought the giant would be speaking to him.

The Stone appear very angry. Its face was broken, Maximus couldn't make out what it would've looked like it the face was whole.

The giant stomped the ground hard causing the ground to rise below them. They both jumped back, but Maximus slipped. Anila looked back to where the giant stood chained. It wasn't there. The chains were broken. She frantically looked up and saw a dark giant figure coming down with a lot of force. Anila and Maximus barely escaped the blast. Maximus quickly recovered to his feet and picked up his blade. The young warriors started blindly running away from the giant, but the giant was too fast and was gaining grounds on them.

The giant roared while chasing them down the narrow gorge.

"It's too fast; we won't be able to outrun him" Maximus said to Anila.

"Don't worry, it may be able to outrun us, but can it stop itself from its own fall?"

Maximus was confused.

"I sense a chasm up ahead; let's see if it could stop itself from falling" Anila started laughing.

"Wow, that's great" Maximus started laughing.

They both ran their separate ways around the chasm. The stone giant ran too fast and fell straight into the giant hole, and he was heard no more. Anila ran over to Maximus and when she touched him, they quickly disappeared and reappeared at the summit.

"What happened?"

"I teleported us back to where we were before"

"I know that, but how did you do that?"Maximus looked completely lost.

"I can teleport through my arrows" Anila replied smiling.

"So I guess we defeated it right?"

"I guess so" Maximus got up and picked up his blade.

They both walked toward the edge of the summit. Anila started laughing.

"I never thought this would be so easy"

"Yeah, me neither" Maximus responded.

In that moment peace, a huge explosion hurled out from the gorge. The black smoke enshrouded the mountain. Maximus slowly got up from ground yelling out to Anila. It was extremely humid. His vision was blurry.

"No, not this feeling again. Anila, Anila, where are you?"

He then stumbled over something. He picked up and was shocked.

"What is my arm doing on the ground?" He thought looking at his own arm.

He then looked down to his left side and knew that his arm truly was missing. He held the place where his arm was, placing his hand over the burned the flesh. In all the shock, he continued walking, calling out to Anila.

He then looked at down at burnt paw and leg that belonged to Anila. At the point, Maximus shed a tear and became very angry. The area grew extremely hot; he looked towards the gorge, and out of the black smoke appeared at giant red eye.

"Do you really think you can push me down a hole, and get away with it again young warrior?"

Maximus roared at the Colossal Creature. He then picked up his machete and charged at the giant, but it rose and climbed out of the gorge, splitting the mountain in half.

"You tried and succeeded a thousand years ago, but no more shall you succeed, retribution is finally in my hands now warrior"

The Colossus looked down at warrior. He then hurled down a small rock at Maximus. Maximus machete shattered to pieces from blocking the attack.

"I'm not and will never be afraid of you, dark fiend."

"Hmm, it's amazing who is calling me the "dark fiend", after you made me who I am over a thousand years ago."

The Giant raised his fist and came down on Maximus with the final blow.

6: Chapter 5
Chapter 5

                                                                Chapter 5: Crossing the line…

Maximus jumped down the mountain, barely escaping the massive attack. His body became engulfed in flames. It died down as he was falling. He plummeted into the earth and was severely injured. His bones were broken. His vision became cloudy. His eyes were slowly closing. He could see the colossal giant rising out of the gorge, and was about to make his first step on him. As the foot was coming down to crush him, he shook and fear rushed to his heart.

"Is this were I die..."

"Is this were all my vengeance, my journey, my purpose ends…"

"Why?"

He closed his eyes, and breathed a long breath…

He felt the heat, and it only grew more intense. But then it felt cool and nice. He opened his eyes and found himself lying on a bed. He got up, stepped down and gazed upon a trail of smoke led to a thorn of shining gems; it was truly on of a kind. He took his first step, and armor suddenly appeared around his right leg. He looked down at his leg shocked; he took a wider step thinking he could get to thrown with all this armor mysteriously attaching to his body.

He took another and yet another. The closer he got to the thrown the more the armor mysteriously attached to his body. He also started to notice added body features. He had a lizard tail, paws for hands, and a furry face.

As he finally reached the throne to touch the glory the shined off the throne of beauty, a whole of white appeared sucking him down into nothing. He immediately opens his eyes again, frantically looking around the room in fear something awkward might happen once more.

"I hope this isn't another dream" Maximus took a deep breath.

"You're not"

Maximus's heart skipped a beat. He looked to his side, and was in complete shock. The swordsman sat comfortably on his side.

"It's you, how did you!"

"Yes, how are you feeling?"

Maximus had anger boiling inside him, but he didn't have to energy or strength to attack him as he wanted to.

"Hmm, I see you don't want to speak"

"I can appear from the darkness remember?"

The swordsman got up from his chair, and started walking towards the door.

"Wait!" Maximus stretched his hand out.

"Ach!" Maximus felt all the burns of his body.

"We shall me again warrior" The swordsman evaporated into the air.

Suddenly, Anila opened the door.
"You're awake"

"Anila, I thought you were…"

"No time, we have to stop that Giant before he goes and wreaks havoc on the lands of Alpha causing the other four to wake" Anila said with a serious look.

"Yes, we have to, but the pain is still with me."

Anila rubbed his body with oil, and it soothed the pain of all his burns.

"Wow, whatever oil this is, it sure did the trick, Thank you" Maximus quickly got up from the old bed. He was given clothes that were worn by the male oroszlans, which didn't have much to it, only a large cloth covering from the waste down to the knees.

They both started on their journey to defeat the "Colossal Giant" immediately. Maximus still felt a little fatigue from the first encounter, and did not really feel like fighting it anytime soon, but what kept him chasing after the giant was the fate of all races at the hands of "The Unforgiven" While they were running towards the giant, Anila stopped and called out to Maximus. Maximus turned back looking at her.

"What happened? We have to defeat the Seal before it gets to any city!"

"But have you forgotten about your weapon, it shattered when you blocked the beast's fire ball attack. In other words, you were going to die senselessly by the time you remembered. So here are some weapons I got for you, they're not as powerful as that machete you had before, so don't try blocking attacks like you were a god with those weapons."

"Got it" Maximus sighed.

Anila tossed two daggers, two knives, and katana. Maximus placed them properly around his waist, and they continued to head after the colossal giant.

"Maximus I'm going to head the sky, for attacks are useless from the ground"

"Can you even fly?"

Anila looks at Maximus, and then looks up at the skies. Suddenly she leaped and ran upwards towards the sky. Maximus slowed his movement in amazement.

"She really can fly!" he thought while his mouth dropped open.

"Don't slow down keep it up before it reaches a city"

"Right" Maximus focused on the Giant.

As they were nearing the giant, he suddenly stopped. Both were confused, but had a feeling the giant was aware of their appearance. Anila shot arrows down on the two small mountains near the giant. The giant slowly turned around.

"Do you two really think you can kill me? What did I ever do to you guys that would make you want my head to roll?" The giant glared at them.

"You're a seal of chaos, of the very essence of evil, and if I don't kill you, you'll kill innocent lives, the world would be doomed, and I won't get my revenge" Maximus glared back at the giant.

"I don't know how I didn't kill you both the first time, but there won't be any survivors this time. I have been locked away for a thousand years without any reason for me being locked up so long. All I have done was good to everyone, yet I was beaten then tossed off a cliff into complete darkness. I have been alone in darkness for a one thousand long years, and I simply had enough."

"Now I'm going to cast my wrath down on everyone for leaving me chained to this gorge for a thousand years. All deserve to pay for not helping me in my time of need. All I ever wanted was to live a peaceful life. But that man."

"What man?" Maximus looked at the giant trembling in fear of what he might say next.

"That man, he had the eyes of death. He didn't look or feel alive; his presence gave off the smell of death."

The giant's was contorted with anger, and he made a fist at Maximus.

"I will now rain my wrath upon all the people of Alpha, and they will feel what I felt before I was tossed off the cliff. What I felt, when I called out for help but no one came to help me in my time of need. And when I'm done, then I will have felt satisfied. But first it will start with your Kingdom, Kriegarian" The giant smiled.

"What? No way in hell I will dare let you destroy my people!"

"Yes way"

The giant crouched real low. Maximus ran as fast as he could to stop him. Anila shot arrows into both his eyes, but it didn't seem to faze him at all. Maximus started climbing his leg, when the giant jumped into the air with lighting speed. Maximus lost the grip of his katana, but tried climbing the giant in mid air.

Anila stood on the clouds and was terrified watching the giant rise above the clouds.

"Istenia, what is this abomination, this is surely no giant"

In the Krieg Empire,

The swordsman stood in the throne room with King Frage the Great.

"You know that in you choosing to stay away from our meetings, and agreeing with our plans you have ultimately committed suicide on your Kingdom and yourself"

King Frage stood up tall and looked down strong into the dead eyes of the swordsman.

"I will die for my kingdom; your judgment should not pass down on my people. Let me hold the responsibility of making that choice"

The swordsman smiled closing his eyes and opening them again.

"Oh, King Frage the Great" the swordsman started walking away.

"You should've made that decision the year you decided not to agree to the "plan of the nations". The extermination of your Kingdom has been decided long ago"

"What! You people disgust me so" The king rushed at the swordsman, but the swordsman evaporated into nothing. He then ran towards the nearest window he could find in his castle. He watched at the giant mass that blotted out the sun and was heading down like a giant comet on his kingdom.

"The True Gods of the Heavens and of this world deliver us believers out of the hands of the concentrated plume of darkness that has enshrouded this world, which has driven everyone insane"

After saying a word of prayer, the king walked fearlessly out of his castle to meet the Giant.

When the colossal giant landed, the explosion carried for miles. It destroyed countless towers and homes. It also killed hundreds of thousands of Kriegarians. Woman and children lay dead from the shock, some were completely dismembered from debrief, and others were mourning over their loved ones. At that point, three-fourths of the kingdom was in ruin.

Maximus laid on top a broken building. He also received injury from the blast.

"Now you will know what it feels like to die, hopelessly, no one or group able to protect you all from your dooms"

"Not as long as I'm King"

"Ah, the mighty king of kings has arrived" The Giant angrily looking down on King Frage.

The Giant clenched his fist.

"Since you're not one to be taken lightly, I'm going to hit you with my strongest"

The Colossal Giant raised both his fist and did a slam, which came down so powerful King Frage's castle split in half. King Frage jumped into the air in front of the giant's face, easily dodging the attack.

"Now let me demonstrate to you what "strong" means" The king making a battle stance.

He pulled back his fist and held it tight in that position. There was a pause. The giant smiled raised and pulled back his right fist.

"When are you going to attack?"

"I already attacked" the king had his right arm was stretched forward.

"What do you…?"

In an instant, the giant realized that half his body was gone from his attack. Smoke had enshrouded the whole kingdom. The King was ready for any of his slow attacks, so he stood their peacefully in the air. But the king quickly realized he was wrong, the giant's fist was upon him. Before he had time to think of how he could escape, he was hit hard and went through his own castle.

The giant was slowly walking over to the castle. Anila fired arrows onto his head, and only two made through his brain, making him bleed out at a faster rate. The giant was a little angered.

"Listen woman, stop firing those stupid arrows, you're being very annoying!" The giant blew up a giant ball of fire. It was about ten times the size of the one hurled down on Maximus. Anila jumped down from the skies and started searching for Maximus.

The giant grunted and continued walking to the castle. King Frage tried the attack once more, but the swordsman redirected the attack, shattering both his arms and legs. The giant grabbed up the king and the swordsman jump on top his hand.

"Who are you?" King Frage was terrified looking into the swordsman dead eyes.

"That's not for you to know"

The swordsman beheaded King Frage, and put his sword through his head. He then pulled it out and started carving the skin of the skull.

"He will be worn around my neck; to show the world that I'm, that we are the true rulers of this world, and anyone dare tries to stand in our way will be removed from the equation"

Anila found Maximus lying on the ground, and woke him up. Maximus started looking around frantically.

"Where's King Frage?!"

Maximus looked at the swordsman on the hand of the giant scrapping the skin off King Frage's skull.

"No, no, no. This couldn't be happening. This is not real. Is this… a dream?"

Maximus fell on his knees. Anila was trembling in fear.

"It's him, we're going to die; I don't want to die Maximus"

Maximus was still. Memories of the past rapidly started filling his mind.

"I have to say for a bunch of guys that look like good for nothings, you guys sure do know how to wield weapons."

"What?"

"They will surely be no more. After I have slain this King of yours, I will wear his head as a prized trophy around my neck showing a reminder of who are the real "Conquerors of Alpha".

"Why am I remembering things at time like this?" he thought.

"You wouldn't dare our King"

"Watch me…."

"You were true to your words"

Maximus picked up a sword that was lying on the ground. He got up and charged towards the giant with his all. Anila called out to him, but Maximus was void of hearing at the moment. All he wanted… was to have vengeance.

The Swordsman was finally done carving the flesh off of King Frage's skull. He heard a step, and as soon as he turned around his arms fell to the ground. He looked in front of him. Maximus already had the blade to his chin and was about to plunge up through his head.

"Now, I must keep true to my words"

The Swordsman transformed into what Maximus saw before. He was then punched into the earth. The swordsman stood over him transforming back to his regular self. Maximus tried putting the dagger in his face, but just as quickly he moved, the swordsman moved much more quickly. He was stopped midway, and all the fingers on his hand were broken separately.

"I told you that our fight will come, but now is not the time"

Maximus tried moving his other arm, but the swordsman put his foot down on it.

"We will meet again warrior…"

"No!"

Maximus blacked out.
