1: Arrival

Chapter 1

All I can remember from my way here are flashing colors that looked a bit digital. My head hurts a whole lot and it hurts to move my limbs. I'm pale in the skin, which doesn't really bother me since I used to be gray.

I'm wearing a dress with yellow on the top and red on the bottom with an orange strip cutting horizantally down the center between the two colors. The dress fell down to my knees with a little point on the bottom. The sleeves are a bit loose. But this dress is extremely similar to the my old one, so I guess it's naturual.

I sigh and decide to walk around. There's got to be something that tells me what planet this is. It all looked somewhat similar to home, but I know I couldn't be there. I was literally kicked off the planet.

Earth I thought when I noticed a female human with her furry pet.

I never once undestood the human race. They keep inferior animals in their homes and then say the animal is family. They're way too tall, they're eyes are too small, and they're skin tones are too colorful. Why? Just, why?

"Hello." The girl said as she passed by.

I smiled and muttered a greeting. A hand was then placed on my shoulder. I noticed the girl place her chin on her hand. I soon realized I'm only slightly shorter than her.

"You sound upset." She whisered into my ear. "What's wrong?"

I tensed. "N-nothing. Now leave me alone."

Her golden pet began making its noises. With all the noise making and growling it was doing, it was easy to tell that it's scared. I've heard that things could sense paranormal activity. I hope aliens are not included. Along with that hope in mind, I began to think about the different things that could explain why I'm out. I'm sure I'll need it for later.

"Hush boy. Shush Mattie." The girl was saying. "No need to scare her."

I felt a few liquid droplets form and fall from my fingers.

Oh great, I thought. How am I supposed to cover that up?
