Season 1 Premiere

(January 5th)

Dear diary I really hope the reader is ignoring,

Today is the day me and my brother return to school after a long summer vacation, which of course is something I couldn't care less about. My brother, however, gets excited by pretty much everything so his opinion is a complete opposite from mine. I really hope that this day gets better than, I can already feel coming my brother jumping on my bed trying to get me to wake up.

With extreme displeasure and in need for some fake enthusiasm, Mindy Zarisen.

P.S.: Even if this will be in every chapter at the start and at the end, I really expect the reader ignores anything embarrassing that's written in this.

---

(Zarisen's Household, Mindy and Kevin's Room)

The sun rises high in the sky as It's sunlight shined across the siblings room, though it only managed to cover the middle part of the room. This room had two beds, a pink and blue one, where two 15-year-old siblings were sleeping.

The girl had long brown hair and green eyes, though they were closed so how do I know is a mystery. Her brother had shorter hair of the same color and brown eyes, again I don't know how I know that since his eyes are closed.

It wasn't long before the older siblings, Mindy, started to feel something bothering her, which was her slightly younger brother Kevin jumping up and down on her bed. She tried to ignore it but alas, it was just too annoying.

"Mindy, wake up!" heard the girl as she woke up, turning to her brother with an irritated look. "It's time to go to school!"

The girl got up and Kevin stopped, right before Mindy threw her pillow at him and went back to sleep. "Can't you just act like summer is still happening, Kevin?" asked Mindy as she tried to get fall asleep.

"I can't, you know that I try to look at the most positive aspect of anything everyday." replied Kevin as Mindy gave up and got up. "You know since doing such a thing tends to do some good to whoever does it. And if we don't arrive at the school on our very first day on time, who knows in what trouble we might get."

(At the Bathroom)

The twins brushed their teeth, only kinda backwards; Mindy brushed Kevin's teeth with her own toothbrush while Kevin brushed hers with his own toothbrush. He continued to talk while this was happening, though the only thing that came out was pure gibberish.

(Back at the Sibling's Room)

After putting on their uniforms, the siblings started to pack their stuff...or more accurately, the other siblings stuff. Mindy organized Kevin's backpack while Kevin organized hers.

"Besides as we all know, if we miss the bus we'll have to go running to the school with a piece of bread in our mouths." uttered Kevin, putting on his backpack as he handed Mindy her own.

(Bus Stop)

The duo sat on a bench, with Kevin still talking with Mindy looking exasperated and sick of it.

"And then, with a few possible coincidences, it might be possible that we get to make new friends and have new exciting adventures." finished Kevin as he and Mindy walked to the bus. "If not just some mediocre ones that have their own spin."

Thankfully the bus arrived and the two went inside, with Mindy blocking her brother's mouth before he started to talk once again.

(On the Bus)

The duo looked around for some available seats, with the only one available being the one at the end of the bus. The two then walked and sat there, with Mindy looking rather displeased.

"We're at the very last row of the bus," said Mindy, crossing her arms. "hooray."

"I know right? I just can't wait to arrive at the school. Maybe we should try to make friends while we wait?" replied Kevin, Mindy shrugging in response as his brother spotted a girl in the seat in front of him. "I'll see if I can befriend that girl over there."

"Hello girl in front of me!" loudly greeted Kevin, getting the girl's attention.

The girl at the seat got up and turned to the boy, showing she was a dark-skinned girl with long red hair, green eyes and she was wearing a black sleeveless shirt with blue jeans and red shoes. "Do you like Sapphire Journey?" asked Kevin, raising his MPP video game console.

"If I like it?" replied the goth girl, right before changing her tone into a happier one as she took out a MPP video game console-on that was pink-and went from her seat to a space close to Kevin. "I LOVE IT!"

"Awesome, what class are you?"

"I'm a Snow Pirate, what's yours?" answered the girl, turning on her MPP video game console. "By the way, I'm Penny."

"Warrior, though I'm thinking about merging it with mage to see what happens." replied Kevin, scratching his chin while he thought about the possibilities. "Maybe a magic knight?"

"Oh possibly a paladin?" suggested Penny.

"No that one can only be made from the mix between a knight and a healer." replied Kevin.

As the two continued to talk about their game, Mindy spotted a Japanese-American boy with black beady eyes and black hair. He was also wearing the normal student uniform, only with blue shoes. "Hello." greeted Mindy, getting the boy's attention. "What's your name?"

"Name's Daisuke." replied the japanese boy. "Who are you?"

"I'm Mindy Zarisen," answered Mindy before pointing at her brother and Penny. "the boy talking about a video game over there is my brother Kevin, and the girl he's talking with is his girlfriend Penny."

"What a lucky guy, having a girlfriend." remarked Daisuke.

"You sure don't know." snickered Mindy, looking at her brother and Penny before turning back to Daisuke. "Do you mind sitting close to me, I would like to talk with someone while I wait to arrive at the school. Or maybe I should sit with you?"

"No don't worry, I'm gonna sit close to you." replied Daisuke, getting off his seat and going to the last row, sitting close to Mindy.

The girl and Japanese-American boy exchange smiles as Kevin and Penny noticed, leaving what they were doing and turning to Mindy and Daisuke. "Hi, who are you?" greeted and asked Kevin in curiosity.

"I'm Daisuke." said Daisuke, slightly bowing down to the two. "It's nice to meet you and your girlfriend."

"Girlfriend?" asked Kevin, with Penny blushing as he nervously replied. "She's not my girlfriend. Who gave you the-"

Suddenly the bus stopped and the door was opened, with all the students-except the four kids in the back-left while the bus driver shouted "We arrived at Star City High School, get off!", with Mindy grabbing and dragging Daisuke outside with her while holding his back, with Kevin and Penny soon following.

(Star City High School)

The main four went inside the school, right after the mob that was their classmates went inside while dragging them. Once they had separated

"This place is awesome!" exclaimed Kevin, earning a weird look from his sister which he ignored. "Just look at the hallways, the lockers, the girl over there looking smug at us-wait a minute."

The team turned to see the girl, close to the Science Classroom, who really was giving them a smug look. She was wearing a long-sleeved purple jacket with a grey shirt, a white skirt and red skate shoes. She also had green eyes and long brown hair with red highlights.

"How nice of you to notice me." replied the girl in a flattered tone.

"I'm getting the feeling you're the bad girl of the school," said Mindy, giving the girl a stern look as the four walked to her. "am I right about that?"

"Partially, I'm actually her younger sister. She completed her last year here a few years ago and she gave me the responsibility to continue her league of being an annoying spoiled brat." replied the girl in a rather saddened tone, right before changing into a friendly one. "Name's Jennifer by the way, but you can call me Jenny."

Jenny-

"Not you paragraph, the main characters." informed Jennifer, looking at the paragraph with a stern look.

Fine. Jennifer then went to a group of scout girls who were talking close to the Science Classroom. They were all wearing the same uniform: A purple shirt with matching shorts, blue shoes and a red beret with a pink bow.

From them she grabbed the girl with opaque glasses, a blue long-sleeved sweater, a pink skirt and red sneakers before returning to the team. "This is my best friend, July." said Jennifer, with July waving hello. "She's my co-helper at scout duty."

"Scout duty?" asked Kevin.

"Yeah, those are the Timeline Scouts, the Present Group 312 to be exact." replied Jennifer as a Timeline Scout Girl with brown hair, glasses and blue eyes walked near her. "This is one is the other second-in-command, Samantha."

Jennifer then quickly went through in naming the other scout girls; first a redheaded girl with green eyes, then a hyperactive girl with brown hair and eyes, a dark-skinned girl with black hair and green eyes, a stoic girl with black hair and black beady eyes, another dark-skinned girl with blonde hair and blue eyes and finally a blonde girl with light blue eyes. "And those are Mindy, Wednesday, Monday, Sapphire, Jade and Suzy."

"Wait, one of them is named Mindy?" asked Mindy, earning a nod from July and Jennifer in response. "That's also my name."

"Oh, we'll we can think of something you can call her instead." said July. "We never call her like that anyway, we usually call her by her surname Jackson."

Can I call her like that to avoid confusion between the girls?

"You don't need to ask stupid questions, of course you can paragraph." replied Jennifer. The bells were then heard, causing the rest of the students around to go walking to their classes, with Jennifer, Samantha and July being dragged away during this. "You should better go to your classroom, there's no need for us to keep talking with you."

(10th Grade Classroom)

The main four opened the door and saw their classmates sitting on their desk, with four empty desks at the. On the Teacher's Desk was a man on his 30s with short brown hair, green eyes and glasses wearing a white shirt with a black bow tie, beige pants and brown shoes.

"Oh, the last four have arrived." said the teacher in his 30s. "Come and take your seats."

The four did just that and the man resumed.

"Students, fortunately for you and us, today we won't have classes." said the teacher, with the students replying by cheering louder than a baseball team group of fans, with some fireworks flying out of nowhere to spell "GREATEST DAY EVER!" in huge bold writing while victorious music was played.

"What we're gonna do before you leave is to introduce you to your teachers and give you the schedule for classes." That statement erased the enthusiasm the students displayed, with the fireworks now spelling "OH COME ON!" instead. "I'll introduce myself first, I'm Mister Sanderson."

"Hi Mister Sanderson." greeted the students in a deadpan tone, except for Kevin, who sounded even more deadpan.

"Hi to you all too. You will all have different teachers for each of your classes; P.E., Science, Art, Theater, Math, Spanish, Biology and History." said Mister Sanderson. "And if I'm forgetting about any other class then good for whoever actually bothered to notice."

The door opened and...1...2...whatever number of people went inside, Mister Sanderson walking to them while the students paid attention. These were going to be the teachers, by the way.

"This is Samantha, she will be your P.E. class teacher." said Mister Sanderson as he pointed at a woman on her 20's, who had blue eyes and black hair. She was wearing a blue sport shirt, white pants and red shoes.

He then pointed at a nearly identical woman near her wearing a lab coat, white shirt, black pants and shoes with glasses. "The woman at her side is her sister Sally, who will be your Science/Health class teacher."

"This one is Mister Maxwell and near him my younger sister Suzy Sanderson, they will be your art and theater teachers." said Sanderson, right before quickly going through the last teachers. "And the last four are Madeline, Rodrigo, Thomas and Betty, who will be your Math, Spanish, Biology and History teachers."

"Hi." greeted the students to their new teachers in the same deadpan tone.

"Now, everybody form a line and come to grab your schedules so you can leave." added Mister Sanderson as he went to his desk and took out the schedules, showing them to the students afterwards. "Remember to-"

The students went running to the schedules like wild animals, quickly grabbing them and leaving through the door without wasting time, unknowingly taking the teachers with them too.

"Yep, I expected just that to happen." uttered Mister Sanderson, getting up to see the classroom empty save for himself. "This is gonna be a loooong year."

(Zarisen's Household)

Once back at home, the siblings opened the door and went inside, waving goodbye to Penny and Daisuke. After they had left they closed the doors, putting the schedule on the wall nearby.

"Well, the day went better than expected." remarked Mindy as she put her backpack on the couch. "It all could have been worse."

"See? I was right!" said Kevin, also putting his backpack on the couch. "Let's just hope that the next day turns out just as good if not better than this one...at least if we don't meet that Jennifer again."

"You don't like her? That's something new." remarked Mindy as she and Kevin walked upstairs.

"She's that one brat every school has Mindy, of course I'm not gonna like her." replied Kevin. "Specially if she gets a malicious plan to conquer the school, then all of Star City and some other third thing I can't think of!"

"Don't be ridiculous, her best friend is more capable to do such a thing." refutted Mindy. "Let's go take a bath and go to sleep."

(One Bath and Change of Clothes Later, at Mindy and Kevin's Room)

The twins got on their beds "Now to take a good long sleep now that school is over."

"We also have classes tomorrow Mindy, remember?" reminded Kevin, earning a furious look from his sister in response. It didn't took long before she went back to sleeping though. "Not now? Okay, I'll let you sleep. But I'll have to repeat what I did this morning to get you to wake up again tomorrow then."

---

As I said the day went better than expected. Not great, but not horrible, just...okay. I wouldn't mind going to the school any other day though, and yes I just wrote that.

With satisfaction with how the day went, and dreading the fact that I have school tomorrow, Mindy Zarisen.

2: Curopia Day
Curopia Day

Dear Diary,

Today is the World Health Day and the school is celebrating it by finding some sick kids or teenagers and letting us take care of their disease or at least make them feel comfortable until a real doctor arrives. Isn't the school so nice?

Anyway, there are some disease in this world that aren't recognized as such or that have unknown cures, some even being the two at the same time. And unfortunately, our patient had got one of those diseases...

---

(Star City High School, Hallways)

The hallways had decorations that had a medical motif while the students and teacher's alike were walking around wearing doctor and nurse uniforms. Among them were the quartet, wearing nurse and doctor uniforms, with one of them complaining about it; Penny.

"World Health Day, I never thought I would dread such a day!" shouted the goth girl to the skies, while the rest tried to ignore her. "I really hate the hospital, the creepy doctors, the cold machinery, why does the school have need decorations in the form of medical motifs?! it just creeps me out and makes me wish I had faked being sick to not come here!"

"Calm down Penny," replied Kevin, turning to the girl. "the faster we're done with our sick patient, the quicker we'll be able to get out of here and stop your complaining about it."

"Yeah, a good thing about this day is that, for our school, we just do what we're told to do and then we go back home." added Daisuke, getting the girl's attention. "Also, you gotta understand there are probably more than one person who share your opinion, and you don't see THEM complaining about it."

Just then the team spotted Samantha and Jennifer walking around the hallways wearing nurse uniforms, complaining as loud as possible about the day without seeing the team. Once they left, "Let's ignore that happened." suggested Kevin, which the team nodded in approval.

Then, the team saw Mister Sanderson, wearing a doctor uniform, walk to them with a girl by his side. That girl was the Timeline Scout Sapphire, who looked rather tired and ready to sleep at any moment.

"Hi guys." greeted Sapphire with a yawn.

"Your task for today will be to take care of Sapphire here, and try to find a way to cure her illness if possible." replied Mister Sanderson, giving the kids a book about illnesses. "However, if she says you did not take care of her properly, ignore her or you make fun of her illness, you will fail the task."

"And?" asked Mindy.

"You will have to stay here after school to take care of the other sick children until next day." added Mister Sanderson, with the team then getting a horrified look. "Have a good day and good luck."

"Follow me to infirmary." said Sapphire with a yawn. "I'll tell you about my illness and what you can do with it when we get there."

The did so without question.

(At the Infirmary)

After getting on her bed and the team got ready to do whatever they needed to do, Mindy walked to Sapphire while Daisuke opened the book and went nearby Mindy. "So what is your illness, Sapphire?" inquired Mindy.

"Being honest, all I have is a bit of a cold." replied Sapphire, coughing a bit. "Nothing too serious and easy to cure, simple."

"Okay, so what are we supposed to do to cure a cold?" said Daisuke as he searched around the book for the cold page. However, he instead found an interesting page which slightly disturbed him. "Umm, do you mind specifying what are the symptoms of your cold and when it started?"

"Well it started when during one of my Timeline Scout duties I smelled a strange-looking blue flower." said Sapphire before explaining. "Afterwards, when I tried to help one of my scout buddies gain a patch, I would become allergic to whatever the patch was about in an instant. So far I have become allergic to acorns, canoes, rivers, honey, and other mundane stuff."

Daisuke handed the book to Penny and, seeing the page, she got a worried look before turning to Sapphire. "Okay, one last thing before I tell you something that might make you panic." said Penny. "What did the flower you smelled look like?"

"Strange." said Sapphire in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Yes that's obvious, but I mean specifically what was strange about it." added Penny.

"Well, it had pink petals, blue and the word "PLOT" was over it, looking a bit futuristic." explained Sapphire, scratching her chin while she did so. "But what could do those things mean?"

"They mean that the flower you smelled wasn't a normal flower, it was the whateveritis flower!" exclaimed Kevin, grabbing the book and showing Sapphire the flower in question. "The biggest source for the strange disease known as whateveritis!"

"Oh no!" screamed Sapphire, right before changing her tone to a confused one. "What's whateveritis?"

"It's a strange disease that modifies and manipulates the body of the contaminated so that, when something plot-related reaches or the contaminated gets near it, they become allergic to that exact thing instantly." explained Kevin while reading the book. "While no major casualties or deaths have resulted from it, there have been more than one case where the survivor

"Okay Kevin shut up already, you're scaring her!" scolded Mindy, softly hitting her brother in the head before turning to the frightened Sapphire. "Don't worry Sapphire, we'll find a way to cure your whateveritis."

"Well-" said Daisuke, reading the page.

"If It's something that will make her panic, don't even bother to say it." warned Mindy, raising her fist towards Daisuke.

"You know, I'm starting to wonder why you're making sure I don't panic." uttered Sapphire.

"It's my job, we can't help a patient who's wildly panicking," replied Mindy. "the calmer you are the easier it will be for us to concentrate."

"There is a possible cure in the Curopia Flower as the book says." finished Kevin, Sapphire and Mindy sighing relieved in response. "Which is found in the forest of cures."

"And where is that forest located?" asked Sapphire.

"In another dimension, called the betamension." replied Daisuke, earning an angry glare from Mindy in response. "Oh and it can also be found on the forests close to the school. One of us could go to one fo the forests to go retrieve the flower while the rest stay here and watch after Sapphire-"

"I'll go, the farther away I'm from the school the better." said Penny. "Anybody has a map to the forests?"

"The book has one." Daisuke took out the map and handed it to Penny, who went to the window. "Take it and good luck on your search."

Nodding in response, Penny jumped out of the window and the remaining team went to Sapphire, who was looking at a random wall. "She'll be back soon." assured Mindy, thinking about it a bit more and her tone getting worried in response. "I hope."

(Forest nearby the School)

"Okay, I'm at the forest the map talks about," remarked Penny, reading the map, with the forest she was in literally being "Forest nearby the School". She kept reading as she walked, paying close attention to the map while ignoring her surroundings. "According to this map, I gotta go somewhere, another direction, and then some other direction."

The girl then stopped after reading such a sentence and looked at the map, which had the directions marked as "a direction", "some other direction", "somewhere" and "another direction", without specifying just what direction each of them meant.

She then threw the map, frustrated of what she saw. "That map isn't gonna get me anywhere!" stated Penny while the map got devoured by a plant on the background. "What I need to do is find a place in this forest with a lot of flowers and try to see one with the word "Plot" above it."

Penny started to look around, being unsuccessful on her search right before she heard something that sounded like rock-type music, the type of music she hated the most. However, this one sounded more like a mix between rock and pop, which changed her opinion to indifference and confusion.

"What is that music?" asked Penny, walking to where she heard the music. "And where is it playing?"

As she walked closer to the notes, the music got louder until she got at a place where there were many flowers, including the one she was looking for. Along with the stuff Sapphire described it like, some butterflies were flying around it while some unknown voices sang a song.

Cu-ro-pi-a!
Curo-pia!
The one flower that can,
Heal all illness!

Cu-ro-pi-a!
Curo-pia!
So rare to find,
Some searchers,
Are driven to madness!

A beautiful sight,
Seen at day or at night,
But It's so rare to find,
You can lose your mind!

Searched by everyone,
To be used for thrive,
One thing to notice however,
Nobody found it alive!

Cu-ro-pi-a!
Curo-pia!
It can heal any illness,
You can name right here!

Cu-ro-pi-a!
Curo-pia!
But not nausea because,
That's the job of the pear!

Penny just ignored the song and went to the flower, reaching and grabbing it without too much trouble. "Good thing the flower has random music playing around itself, otherwise I would have never been able to find it earlier than expected." remarked Penny. "Now I gotta grab it and get outta here before a guardian appears."

However, when the girl was about to leave the forest-or at least a part of the forest-a loud roar was heard which made her stop. And with a terrified look, she turned around to see some stones levitating and going to the place where the curopia flower was, uniting to form a giant golem with glowing red eyes.

"Protect Curopia!" shouted the golem as he started to run to Penny.

"So wait, a guardian was actually gonna appear!?" thought Penny before running away from the golem.

Penny screamed as the golem got closer and closer, only barely managing to get away from him when she jumped over a rock, which the golem over looked and tripped over, falling to pieces when he touched the ground. He reformed soon afterwards though, and continued to chase after the girl.

Penny didn't stop running and went through several paths of the forest, with the golem following her. No matter the obstacles that destroyed the golem, it would reform immediately to resume his chase.

The girl finally managed to catch when she hid inside a bush, with the golem stopping and starting to look around for her by spinning, not looking dizzy at all.

"Okay Penny, you have to think of a way to destroy the golem." thought Penny, with a scratch being heard as she realized something important. "But I know nothing about golems!"

That was a mistake, because even if the golem didn't had ears he somehow managed to hear her, roaring at the bush strong enough to send it away, showing Penny sitting on the ground while holding the flower. She turned to the golem and, slowly getting up, watched him as she backed away.

She then started to run as fast as she could, with the golem following her as she started to think of a strategy against it. She then noticed the emet on his forehead.

"Let's see, the emet on his forehead means truth in hebrew, and removing the first e equals the word for death." thought Penny, getting an idea after some more thinking. "That's it! Maybe if I change that emet for met, the golem will cease the chase and turn back into rocks! But It's moving so fast I can't get close without being pummeled to the ground."

Just then a flash of light appeared and briefly blinded both the golem and Penny. Once it disappeared, Penny opened her eyes to see the golem paralyzed with his arms extended towards her.

And seeing it as the perfect opportunity, the girl went running to the golem, took out a pen from her pocket and, jumping towards his forehead, exclaimed "See you later, alligator!" as she erased the e on 'emet', changing it to 'met', and jumped away from the golem afterwards.

The golem's eyes turned black and, with the flash of light appearing again, it mobilized him again only to let it fall apart into the pile of rocks it originally was.

"I wonder what was in that flash of light that paralyzed the golem?" asked Penny, turning down to the flower afterwards and getting a determined look. "No matter, I got the flower and I need to get back to the infirmary before It's too late!"

With those words said, the girl continued to run as fast as she could, while a butterfly watched her run off to the exit of the forest, with a bit of sparkles surrounding the butterfly as she went to the shadows. A little flash on the bush the butterfly went to revealed something that looked like a tiny human leg...

(Back at the Infirmary)

Penny went through the same window she went through when she left and landed on the ground safely.

"Guys I'm back and-" she stopped upon noticing the mountain of papers nearby, and Sapphire sneezing while the rest tried took away some video games and books from her. "What exactly happened here?"

"SOMEHOW we forgot that she had whateveritis, so thanks to us she became allergic to books, video games or other stuff used to waste time." replied Kevin, while Sapphire reached for a book, only to sneeze it away. "She now sneezes when she's nearby one of those things."

"Okay, luckily I managed to find the flower that can stop our troubles!" exclaimed Penny, showing the flower to the rest. "Anyway, Daisuke, tell me what we need to do to make sure the flower can cure her!"

"The book says it's added to a chicken soup as a main ingredient to make It's cure effect more likely to succeed." replied Daisuke, reading the book. "If we did it right, the soup will have a slightly blue-ish tone to it and will have a slightly better taste than usual-"

"No time for that! Mister Sanderson will appear at any minute!" interrupted Mindy, Penny handing her the flower "Just eat it and let's see what happens."

Sapphire grabbed the flower and quickly eat it, moaning a little as she did due to the taste. "It actually tastes kind of sweet." after swallowing it, Sapphire fully opened her eyes and got up, moving her arms and "I'm feeling better already!"

Her stomach started to shine a blue color, removing her bed sheets to show a boxing match happening between the curopia and whateveritis flower, with the curopia getting the upper hand. This sight confused everybody.

"Everybody else is seeing it, right?" asked Kevin, with the rest nodding in response. "We're not hallucinating what we're seeing in Sapphire's belly, are we paragraph?"

I just described what was happening and I can see it pretty clearly too, so no, you're not hallucinating.

"Hi guys and girls, I went here to check on how you were doing with Sapphire." the man then walked to Sapphire, scratching his chin as he saw Sapphire looking better than when he last saw her. "Hmm, she looks a bit better. What did you do to her?"

"They gave me the curopia flower so I could eat it, and when I did, I started to feel better." explained Sapphire. "However, I don't know if it made me perfectly healthy again or only healthy in appearance."

Sapphire grabbed a video game and sniffed it, waiting a bit to see if she would sneeze, getting a happy look when the sneeze didn't happen. "I didn't sneeze!"

The girl then left the infirmary, then return 5 minutes while she sniffed a canoe, river water, acorns, a book about sniffing things, a honey pot and some other mundane stuff, including a fellow male student. "I don't sneeze with any of those things when they're nearby anymore! I'm cured!"

"Good job guys, did anything else happen when Penny searched for the flower?" asked Mister Sanderson.

"That doesn't make us look completely stupid, doesn't sound insane when spoken and that it sounds like something a sane person like you would believe? No." answered Penny, walking to Sapphire and putting her hand on the scout girl's shoulder before resuming. "But the important thing is that Sapphire is free of the whateveritis and her sneezes, and we passed our task. We did pass it right?"

"Of course." replied Mister Sanderson, taking out a nurse uniform out of nowhere and handed it to Sapphire while the team celebrated. "Do you wanna add something before we turn you into a nurse, Sapphire?"

"Yeah, It's something I'm pretty I should have mentioned before everything happened, but I forgot for some reason." answered Sapphire, grabbing the nurse uniform and putting it on before turning to "You see, I didn't my condition was contagious and, well..."

Just then the rest of the present group 312 went inside the room, looking as sick as how Sapphire looked a while ago. "Yep, I also gave my other scout buddies the whateveritis." finished Sapphire. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you before, but I can help you curing them."

Seeing the scouts get on the beds and toking themsleves, the team got exasperated looks as Mindy said "We're gonna need more curopia flowers.", the rest nodding in agreement. "Way, WAY more curopia flowers."

---

Okay, we managed to cure our friend with the Curopia flower and pass our task without much trouble. At least, most of us didn't have much trouble. And I'm not gonna detail what happened with the rest of the present group 312, but I can assure you that they came out fine.

As for Sapphire, she pointed to the forest where she smelled the flower, and some warning signs about the flower later the flower police arrived and took it to their police station, dealing fairly easy with one of the causes of Whateveritis. Outside of that, the rest of the day was pretty normal, and I'm glad we won't have to deal with that disease ever again...right?

With nothing else to add, Penny.

3: Butterfly Tale
Butterfly Tale

(Saturday)

Dear diary,

There have been multiple cases of boys being ridiculed for liking something feminine: dolls, tea parties, you name it because I don't know what else...no wait I remembered one; butterflies.

The insects that some think are feminine, at least in our world, have been the object of fears if they're black (somehow I feel very disturbed with that sentence) or of rebirth, but they have rarely or never been seen with a boy. When I started to care for one, I was starting to get nervous about what would happen if anybody got to know...

And that was right before I discovered they're awesome in this world!

---

(Star City Park)

Daisuke was skipping across the beautiful hills of the park, with some girls who were also skipping noticing and giving him a thumbs up to the boy. He had his eyes closed, so he had no idea of where he was going. But then again it was a beautiful day at Star City

And then a squash sound was heard.

"Is it me or did I just heard something like a squash?"

Dude, lift up your foot. I literally said that a squash sound was heard.

And for our horror, when Daisuke raised his foot underneath a butterfly, looking particularly fine but paper-flat, could be seen with a broken wing. "Gah! I squashed a butterfly under my shoe!" screamed Daisuke, grabbing the butterfly.

Gah, it looks too beautiful! Take it away, take it away!

"Good idea paragraph," replied Daisuke, confusing me before he explained. "I can take this butterfly back home and nurse it back to health! I'll go home now."

I was thinking you could hide it in a tree filled with leaves, but your idea sounds waaaay better than mine.

(Fujiwara House, Daisuke's Room)

Once back at home, the boy put the butterfly on a little chair and covered it from...whatever to head with a small blanket. "I hope you're feeling comfortable, you're gonna spend here sometime before you fully recover." said Daisuke. "Now what I need to do is hide. You will also help, tell me when my mother is coming so I can hide the butterfly."

Sure. Oh by the way, your mom just entered the room.

"You made her come here out of nowhere, did you?" asked Daisuke, crossing his arms with an angry look.

Not really, but we gotta get the plot going SOMEHOW, and this is all the writer I could think of.

"Daisuke?" said Mrs. Fujiwara, seeing Daisuke. "What are you doing here? It's a beautiful day in Star City, why don't you go outside or with your friends?"

"I enjoyed it for a while, but then, I did something awful," replied Daisuke, moving out-of-the-way to show his mom the butterfly. "I crushed this poor butterfly!"

"Son, I know you care about animals and the well-being of everything, but don't you think that bringing a butterfly to the house is a little bit...much?" asked Mrs. Fujiwara, walking to the butterfly. "All it probably has is a broken wing."

Mrs. Fujiwara checked the butterfly and discovering the broken wing, quickly took out a first health medical box from a nearby shelf. Taking out a bandage from the box, she wrapped it around the broken wing.

"There, with a single bandage it should heal in a few hours." said Diasuke's Mother, scratching the back of her head in doubt before turning to her son. "At least, that's what I think. I don't know much about lepidopterans."

"Umm mom, what makes you think a single bandage wrapped around the butterfly's wing is gonna fix it?" inquired Daisuke.

"Son, if I learned something about fictional worlds, is that a bandage can cure and fix everything and anything." replied Mrs. Fujiwara, turning to the reader before continuing. "Don't try this in the real world, you need way more than bandages to cure anything at all."

"Okay little butterfly, just as mom recently said you just need to stay here for a few hours and you'll be good as new." told Daisuke to the butterfly as he reached for a butterfly book. "Afterwards we can act like nothing ever happened."

"I thank you and your mother for nursing me." gratefully uttered the butterfly.

Hearing those words was not something the boy had expected, dropping the book he had when he heard them. After grabbing it and turning to the butterfly with a look of disbelief, he said "If I didn't knew better, I would have said that the butterfly just talked." in shock.

Actually, it did talk.

"For real?!"

"Yes, I talked." confirmed the butterfly. Thank you, by the way. "You see, there are some butterflies that can talk in your world, and that sometimes, they're seen with sparkles around."

"Please tell you aren't gonna start to talk about stereotypical girly stuff." said Daisuke, opening the book.

"Oh no, I just said it so you would know, my people don't really like to talk about such things anyway." replied the butterfly. "I can't tell you anymore anyway, it would spoil the secret of my people."

"Okay then, but if you're people or butterflies surrounded by sparkles, how come you have not been noticed yet?" questioned Daisuke. "Certainly bugs that have sparkles around their bodies aren't something easy to hide."

(At a random hill)

A bunch of butterflies were flying around, with most of them having sparkles surround them. The people nearby, upon seeing this, got a confused look as they wondered if what they were seeing was real.

(Back at the Fujiwara's House)

"We have a very easy time going unnoticed, actually." replied the butterfly.

"You know I don't wanna brag or anything, if that's what I'm gonna do, but you were lucky that I was the one who accidentally hurt you." said Daisuke, reading a book about butterflies. "Most boys would leave you to die in the ground instead

"What happened to the rule of not mentioning the word "death" on kids fiction?" inquired the butterfly, sounding slightly worried.

"Well as a teen, I already understand the concept, and I feel a bit awkward when using something else to describe it." "Besides, you're not gonna die at all. If what my mother did to you is effective, then you'll be able to leave this place in a matter of hours."

"You know, while other people would normally tell somebody else about something like you, I don't really know if I should considering the consequences." uttered Daisuke. "I could be ridiculed for it, or be the laughing-stock of the school. You know how cruel some teens are, I could even bet some money in that some kids have them as their masters, but this conversation is already crazy enough."

"Well, maybe you could show me to some of the people" loudly thought the butterfly, getting a shocked look upon realizing what she did.

"Actually that's a pretty good idea," complimented Daisuke, right before whispering the next to the butterfly. "be careful though, today I heard that many great ideas get stolen by other kids from everywhere. Today is the day where the Idea Police works the most though, so we don't really have to worry too much."

"Wait, I was not supposed to-"

"I can't do it today though, they have important things to do." interrupted Daisuke, with the butterfly letting out a sigh of relief. "I'll call them a bit later and see if they're available tomorrow. You stay here and don't do anything."

With that said Daisuke got out of the room and went downstairs, with the butterfly looking down in sadness of what she had done.

(At Night)

The butterfly, upon seeing the boy had fallen fast asleep with the window open, got up from her bed as she questioned why he left the window open in the first place. Her attention changed to something else when she discovered that, to her shock, her wing had fully recovered and the bandage was nowhere to be seen.

"Seems like what his mother said was real, a bandage really did cure my broken wing." thought the butterfly in amazement.

The butterfly then flew outside through the window, taking one last look at the boy before flying to the forest. "I appreciate all he and his mother did for me, but I can't stay here any longer." thought the butterfly. "I really do hope he doesn't get worried and tries to find me next day, I'm just an insignificant butterfly anyway."

(Next Day)

Daisuke, Penny, Mindy and Kevin were walking upstairs to the former's (Daisuke) room, with Kevin having a big grin on his face. "Spit it out already Daisuke, I'm getting anxious to know what is that you want to show us!" exclaimed Kevin in excitement. "I don't think I'll be able to survive the wait between our walking to your room and when we actually get there."

"Well, I don't wanna ruin the surprise, but if it makes you calm down for a moment," replied Daisuke. "It's related to sparkles and something slightly girly in general."

"Now I'm less enthusiastic about it." uttered Penny in an honest tone.

"And I'm more indifferent." added Mindy.

"And I'm still anxious to know about it for some reason!" added Kevin with an enthusiastic tone. "Where are we going anyway?"

"To my room, that's where she's been since I accidentally hurt her." answered Daisuke, with the rest exchanging confused looks. "Now no more questions until we get to my room, okay?"

"It was a butterfly that I started to take care of after I accidentally squashed it." replied Daisuke, earning an "aaaw" which was followed with an "eeew" when the other three remembered the second part. "She must have flew away when I left...the window...open...rats!"

"Let's get out and go look for her then!" stated Kevin, walking to the window. "We didn't walk a reasonable amount of stairs just to return home!"

"Wait Kevin-!"

The boy jumped through the window and, looking down, suddenly realized he was falling from the second floor. Before he could say anything though, he fell to the ground face-first, with the other three cringing upon hearing his "ouch" from the room.

"My room is on the second floor." informed Daisuke to the boy, who got up and brushed off the dirt on his clothes.

"And now you tell me!?" complained Kevin, looking up to see Daisuke scratching the back of his head.

(At the Forest)

The four teens were walking around the forest, looking everywhere for the butterfly. "Forget it Daisuke,

"Guys believe it or not, during the time the paragraph didn't bother to explain, I got attached to that little butterfly. Besides, I get the feeling she's here somewhere." stated Daisuke, looking at the sky. "She must be in here somewhere."

Sad piano music was heard as the trio noticed, with Mindy looking slightly worried. "Please don't tell me Daisuke's going to sing-" said Mindy as she heard the music.

Where could she have gone to?

"That's what I feared." finished Mindy with an irritated tone.

Did anyone saw where she went?

"Why are you asking us?" replied Penny.

I need to find a clue,

"Forget it, when someone sings, they are like in a trance." told Mindy to her brother and Penny. "They don't notice their surroundings until the song ends."

Did anybody in case,
Brought a teeent?

"For what, exactly?" inquired Kevin.

Because I won't rest,
Until I know where she went!

We gotta search everywhere,
Through the earth and sky!

"Umm, we don't really need to." replied Penny.

She could be anywhere,
I'm not gonna lie!

The journey could potentially be long,
But mark my words in this song,

I will not rest,
Until I know,
Where. She. Went!

The music becomes a bit more upbeat as he continues singing, with the other three sitting on some rocks nearby to wait for the song to end.

Where did she go?
Does any-bo-dy know?

Have you seen her?
Flying around the sun,
Or resting in a floe?

"There aren't any near a forest." informed Kevin, only to be ignored as the next verse continued.

That doesn't matter!

I gotta run and find her fast,
But not too much,

Or else I might travel to the past!

I won't rest until,
I know where she went!

Until I know...
Where she weeeeent!

Once the song had finished, the other three applauded as Daisuke did a bow to them. This was before Kevin noticed something and, whistling to get Daisuke's attention, he pointed towards a butterfly that looked like the one they were looking for.

"Oh wait, there it is." uttered Daisuke, running towards the butterfly.

"Don't you just love it when songs add absolutely nothing to the story and are still included anyway?" asked Penny, the Zarisen twins shaking their heads no in response. "Yeah, neither do I."

The team followed the butterfly through the forest until stopping at a dead-end; a giant tree. The butterfly continued and, without too much trouble, went through the tree like it was nothing.

"Did it just go through that tree like a ghost?" asked Kevin, not believing what he had seen. The other three nodded in agreement and, yes Kevin, what you saw was real.

Seeing as my word doesn't seem as enough proof, the team went through the tree, doing the same thing the butterfly did.

(Fairy Kingdom)

The team arrived at the other end to see a gigantic tree in front of them, with shorter ones surrounding it and the way. The team walked towards it and started to search for the butterfly, only to fail at finding even one of them around.

The butterfly fell to the ground and sparkles surrounded her, changing from a butterfly shaped to a human-shaped one while retaining her original small size. "The butterfly transformed!" exclaimed Kevin, pointing at the obvious.

When the sparkles disappeared everybody saw the butterfly had transformed into a girl with green eyes and long green hair, insect antenna, a pink dress and blue skin. "You...are...actually, what are you?" said and asked Daisuke, unable to recognize the fairy.

"I'm a fairy, It's just that my wings haven't grown on this form yet." uttered the Fairy, right before she got scared again. "Please get out of here before anybody else spots you, outsiders aren't welcomed on the Fairy Kingdom. And don't hurt me!"

"Beverly, where are you!" called a familiar voice.

From the bushes a little woman with butterfly wings, long red hair, green eyes, wearing a long red dress and with pink skin came out, catching the team's attention. "Mommy, save me from the giants!" exclaimed the Girl, running to the little woman. "I don't know how they found me, but you gotta do something about them before they eat me or something!"

"Hey, are you-" asked Daisuke.

"Yes." answered the Butterfly-Fairy before turning to the girl. "Beverly, this is the human, not giant, who cared for me when he accidentally squashed me." the girl turned to with an angry look, the boy scratching the back of his head with a nervous grin. "His mother mostly did the job, giving me a bandage that healed a broken wing, while he gave me somewhere I could rest until they were repaired."

"You have a daughter? And you're married?" asked Daisuke, with the Fairy-Butterfly nodding in response.

"How unlucky Daisuke, now you won't be able to marry her." sadly remarked Kevin, with Mindy and Penny bursting and falling to the ground in laughter while Daisuke blushed and gave him a look.

"I didn't mean that when I said I got attached to her!" replied Daisuke, "So anyway, this is your daughter?"

"Yes she is, a beautiful Human-Fairy hybrid if I may add." answered the Buttefly-Fairy, releasing her daughter before she continued. "And don't ask how I managed to conceive her, It's...complicated."

The girl then went to the tree and, knocking 3 times, a megaphone came out which she used to call the other fairies. "Come out fairies! The giants here are peaceful!" shouted Beverly, with the team covering their ears.

Some other fairies, both male and female, came out of bushes and trees and transformed into their humanoid forms, looking at the team with curious eyes. "And finally, the Fairy Quing!" shouted Beverly, with a door on the giant tree opening.

From there a huge woman, at least twice as tall as the team, came out with a crown. She had pink skin, blue eyes, a grey dress and long violet hair. A smaller male fairy with short blue hair, wearing blue pants and a brown jacket, with green skin and grey eyes flew to the woman's shoulder.

"We don't really know what gender zhe's supposed to be." replied the Butterfly-Fairy. "Sure zhe looks female enough, but just listen to how zhe talks."

"It's a pleasure to meet some giants who aren't crushing our kind mercilessly." spoke the Quing with an extremely deep, manly voice.

The team stared in shock. "Anyway why do you call her..him...it, a quing?" questioned Mindy.

"Because we already have a kieen." replied the Butterfly-Fairy, pointing at the male nearby the Quing. "He looks male, but speaks like a girl and always refers to itself as the queen."

"Fairies are weird." stated Penny, with the rest nodding in response. "Still, why did you leave without saying goodbye first? Daisuke loves animals, and even if you don't qualify as such, he still did treat you until you were cured."

"The fairies here are an ancient race that must never be seen by the giants." uttered the Fairy Quing. "If anybody saw one single butterfly talk, then our secret would come out and, no matter how long or how short it would take, our species would be discovered."

"Yes, our species must never be known to anybody other than us." added the Kieen.

"We promise you that, unless It's necessary, we will never show that you exist." promised Daisuke, with Kevin, Mindy and Penny promising as well. "And if you wanna be extra sure, you can call the Fairy Police to watch us nearby when we're about to spoil your existence."

"Oh we already did." replied the Kieen, with a portal opening nearby him.

Two small, winged ten-skinned fairies wearing police uniforms came out of the portal, going to the Kieen's side and bowing down to hir. "You may leave now, Fairy Police, they promised us they would keep our species a secret." told the Quing to the officers. "Remember to keep your eyes open for anything."

"Understood your majesty." replied the Fairy Police, opening another portal and walking through it, the portal vanishing afterwards.

"One last warning before you leave," said the Fairy Quing. "shall you ever show our species existence without our permission or without any reason, you will be forced to get your minds erased of us and everything you saw related to us, and you won't remember about fairies ever again."

"What?!"

"I'm sorry, but if we trusted every giant we met, our species would become extinct pretty quickly." added the Kieen. "Now leave mystical giants! Before our younger ones see your forms and wonder what they're looking at!"

The team obeyed and went through the tree they came from...except for Daisuke, who turned and waved goodbye to the fairies. "Goodbye...umm..." said Daisuke, waving goodbye.

"Betty," informed the Butterfly-Fairy, who was waving back. "call me Betty."

"Fine then, goodbye Betty." said Daisuke, going through the tree as he said it.

As the fairy watched the boy leave and the fairies returned to where they were, her daughter climbed up some pants and, loudly asked "Is he gonna be my new father, mommy?" with a tone of curiosity.

"We'll talk about that later, Beverly." replied Betty with a blush.

---

It all went better than I expected, I got to meet. The only problem being the one the Quing and Kieen recently said. But outside of that, everything is fine, though I haven't seen Betty for quite sometime now, I wonder how she's doing?

With nothing else to add, Daisuke Fujiwara.

4: The Secret Admirer
The Secret Admirer

Dear Diary,

Today I discovered something interesting; an admirer of mine. I initially had the idea of who could...an idea which I didn't like much. However, upon more investigation and interaction with one of the scouts, I got a shock at seeing who my secret admirer really was.

Now I shall explain how everything went like.

---

(City High School, Hallway)

Kevin walked to his locker, putting the combination and then opening it for a letter to fall out. This particular letter catched the boy's interest as he grabbed it.

"What's this?" checking around the letter for a while, Kevin managed to find something attached to the letter, which read "For Kevin" in bold letters. "I don't know any other Kevin on the school, so I guess It's for me."

A minute after he thought about what he said, the boy ignored it and opened the letter. What was inside the letter managed to surprise him though, so much it was something he could not keep a secret.

"I better show this to the others." uttered Kevin, putting the letter in his pocket and closing his locker before leaving.

(At the Cafeteria)

Mindy was reading the letter while Daisuke and Penny watched her and Kevin waited impatiently and nervously for her to finish. Once she finished, she refolded the letter and handed it back to her brother.

"Yep looks like a letter from your secret admirer." confirmed Mindy. "You found it on your locker, the letter says you're the most beautiful sight she's ever saw, it does sound like a secret admirer at work."

"Good going Kevin!" complimented Penny as she patted the boy's back. "Maybe if you can reciprocate and wait a few years, you two will be boyfriend and girlfriend."

"I really hope you don't become jealous of this fact, Penny." said Daisuke in an honest tone.

"Daisuke, I already explained to you that I was just kidding when I told you that." told Mindy to the japanese boy, turning to her brother afterwards. "You got nothing to worry about Kevin."

"But I need to know who the writer of the letter is, and then I'll see if I can panic or not!" replied Kevin, slamming his fist on the table, sending a plate full of food to his own head. He took it off and continued to speak with pasta and other food around his face. "Do you guys have any idea of who she is?"

"Umm, SECRET admirer, remember?" reminded Daisuke.

"Oh right." said Kevin, scratching his chin to think of a new plan. "I'll investigate on the way to the third class after the second one ends. And I'm not gonna rest-"

"Don't promise anything that can't actually be done, Kevin." interrupted Penny.

"Oh, then I'm just gonna investigate!" uttered Kevin.

"Hope you have luck on your investigation, Giacomo." uttered Mindy, giving a soft hit to her brother's shoulder before she and Penny left.

The boy then turned to Daisuke, who was getting ready to leave. "What did she mean by Giacomo?" he asked with a tone of curiosity.

"Don't ask, and don't research about it." replied Daisuke in a matter-of-fact tone. "You might not like the results of the research. Not. At. All"

(Back at the Hallway, after the Second Class)

Kevin got off the Spanish classroom door and went to the lockers, looking everywhere for a clue to the love letter's writer true identity. When he got on the hallway where his locker was in thought, he got a quite unexpected sight.

It was July putting a letter on his locker. And while he didn't say anything, he still got spotted when July turned around, being paralyzed with a startled look upon seeing the boy. "Oh no, don't tell me that July is my secret admirer." thought Kevin in shock.

"Drat, he spotted me!" thought July upon seeing Kevin.

Looking around, July quickly put the letter and closed the locker, running away afterwards. Just to confirm his fears Kevin walked to his locker, opened it and took out the letter. He opened it and...his fears became confirmed; the letter looked the same as the one from earlier. Writting and everything.

"Oh no..."

(At the Science Classroom)

"Wait a minute, July is your secret admirer?" inquired Mindy in disbelief, her brother nodding in response. "Are you sure she's not the one who delivers the letter instead?"

"I know It's hard to believe, heck I don't believe it myself." replied Kevin, taking out the letter. "But I saw her put this letter in my locker. A letter that looks the same as the last one, only even more lovely-dovely sounding. Not enough to get us sick but still."

"It does look like a 2nd grader wrote this." remarked Penny, looking at the letter. "Have you asked her about this?"

"No, she escaped before I could ask her about it." replied Kevin. "Actually, she escaped before I did anything at all. I wouldn't mind if she was my admirer though, but even still and taking that aside, I'm still shocked that July could be

"Kevin, are you entirely sure that July is possibly your secret admirer?" asked Daisuke.

"No but-"

"Then you don't need to worry about July being your secret admirer, there's the possibility she just delivered the letter and that's it." interrupted Penny, getting the boy's attention. "There is still some investigation to do and there are many more girls on the school that could be the one we're looking for."

"...You're right!" replied Kevin with a determined tone. "I can't just say that July is my secret admirer like it was the absolute truth!"

"You'll need to do more investigation on the matter then, Kevin." replied Mindy, putting her hand on her brother's shoulder.

"And I'm the girl you need to go to!"

The teens jumped in fright upon hearing those words, turning around while they were breathing heavily to see a 12-year-old brunette girl wearing a detective uniform, a fedora hat and glasses nearby them.

"Sorry but, who are you?" asked Mindy, suspicious at the girl's sudden appearance.

"The name is Emilia Allen," replied the girl, taking out a notepad before resuming. "my game is deciphering letters. I heard from far away that somebody needed help deciphering a love letter, and I went here as fast as I could."

"Yes, It's this letter." replied Kevin, showing the letter to Emilia. However, when she tried to grab it, he moved away. "Although, I don't know if I should trust a stranger like you something important like this."

"Is it something important to you?" inquired Emilia, putting her hands on her hips.

"Kinda but not too pasionately-" replied Kevin.

"Then no need to worry about it," interrupted Emilia, grabbing the letter. "all I'm gonna do to it is use my advanced clue identifier to find any clues to who the writer of this letter is!"

The girl then took out a purple light and shined it through the latter, some minutes passing before she finished. "Found anything yet?" asked Penny.

"Well, have you noticed the lipstick mark on it?" inquired Emilia, with Kevin checking the letter to see if she was joking. "It's a BLUE lipstick, and besides you need to see the writing of any girl you know and then compare it to the writing in the letter."

"Okay then," said Kevin, grabbing the notepad and turning to Mindy. "you go first Mindy."

The look of utter shock in Mindy's face certainly showed her opinion about what his brother just said. "...Do you seriously think I'm part of the subjects?" asked Mindy, her voice sounding a bit scared.

"Good point, Penny you go instead." replied Kevin, handing the notepad to the Dark-skinned goth girl. Some writing later she returned the notepad to Kevin and he checked her writing with the letter's.

If only it had gone somewhere; the writing didn't look similar at all. The letter's writing looked better than Penny's. "What's up with your writing, Penny?" asked Kevin.

"Well, I never said I was a decent writer." replied Penny, crossing her arms. "And besides, you still have a lot of girls whose writing you must compare."

"You're right." replied Kevin. "And I better do this quick, or else we won't have classes for the entire chapter!"

Sounds of grasshoppers were heard as the students looked at Kevin with an "are you serious?" look on their faces. "Now that I have thought about what I said, maybe I should take my time." replied Kevin, earning a nod of approval. "Quick, to the hallways!"

(Star City High School, Hallway)

The team and Emilia had searched everywhere on the hallway and on every locker, trying to find some writing to compare to the letter's. They were found several times, but thankfully they explained and the more reasonable way got used instead; ask the girls to write something and then compare the writing to the letter's.

Unfortunately, the team didn't had much luck with the writings. "Well this isn't going anywhere." uttered Mindy, "We tried the technique you suggested on most of the girls Kevin know, and their writing didn't even looked close to the one in the letter."

"Well, guess you'll have to try tomorrow." uttered Emilia, walking away from the team. "I'm sorry that I can't help you today anymore."

"Wait a second there." ordered Daisuke, with Emilia obeying. "We haven't tried it with you yet."

"What? You think that I could be your secret admirer?" asked Emilia, earning a nod from the team in response. What came next was a lot of laughter from her before she said her real answer.

"Don't be ridiculous guys, my writing looks nothing like the one in the letter! And even if it looked like, I just met all of you sometime ago, I cannot be the admirer of somebody I know nothing at all." replied Emilia, crossing her arms.

"Then you won't mind writing something on this piece of paper so we can check if it looks like the writing of the letter, will you?" replied Kevin, handing the girl a piece of paper and a pen.

The girl wrote something on the paper and, handing it to the team, she crossed her arms to wait. They initially cringed at what she had written, but quickly ignored it and compared it to the love letter's witting.

Again, there wasn't much luck. "Okay that was a waste of time." said Kevin, "But there must still be another way to decipher this love letter. And what Emilia just wrote was extremely rude!"

"Actually, there might be another way." uttered Penny, scratching her chin as she got an idea.

(At the Teacher's Room)

The door got kicked open and the team went inside, getting the attention of the teachers. "We're looking for Miss Elizabeth." stated Mindy in a serious tone.

"You do realize you could have just knocked the door so we could open you, right?" asked Mister Sanderson.

"Yeah sorry, we wanted a more dramatic entrance." apologized Mindy as she and the rest walked to Mister Sanderson. "Anyway, is Miss Elizabeth here?"

Mister Sanderson pointed at the back row, where a woman on her 20s can be seen sitting with a computer in front of her. Once she saw she the team coming to her, she turned towards them. "Yes? What do you need?" asked the woman.

"Can we ask you to do something for us?" asked Daisuke.

"Of course, anything you ask me as long as I doesn't make me look creepy." replied the teacher.

"Could you please write on this piece of paper?" requested Kevin, handing the paper to the woman. "I have received a love letter, and we get the feeling the writing could be just like yours."

Without a response Miss Elizabeth took a piece of paper and pen from her desk, quickly writing something down and showing it to the team. Surprisingly, the writing didn't look any different from the one in love letter, and joining 2 and 2 together...

"You wrote this love letter!" exclaimed the team in shock, with the average "dun, dun, DUUUUUNNN!" playing afterwards.

"Yes, but someone requested me to do it for her." replied Miss "I can't tell you who she is though, I promised her I would not show her identity. I do believe you can find enough evidence to decipher the identity by yourself though."

"Where should we start looking?" asked Mindy.

(At the Gymnasium, Female Lockers)

"I really don't wanna be here." said Kevin in a scared tone, grabbing Mindy's hand. "I have heard what some girls do to boys who get spotted in this area. Some of the stories don't even sound like they have been done by a human being!"

"Don't worry Kevin, you're perfectly safe with me." said Mindy, right before Kevin started to hug her tightly. "Could you guys please speed it up? I don't think my words are calming him down."

"A little piece of Kevin's hair and a photo of him, I found it!" exclaimed Penny, taking off her X-Ray glasses.

"Darn it, the locker's...locked!" said Penny. "What are we gonna do?"

"10-4-21-8-13." said Mindy as she inserted that password.

After that Mindy grabbed the and twisted it, the locker opening much to the shock of everyone. "How did you know that was the password?" asked Kevin in amazement.

"It translates to your name if you change the numbers for letters." replied Mindy as Daisuke and Penny investigated the locker. "My other choice was gonna be swordfish, but I wanted to make sure if I was wrong."

"A picture of Kevin and a string of his hair." uttered Penny, taking out the mentioned things.

"Not to mention, a hair of the girl who owns this locker." said Daisuke, taking out a piece of brown hair. "Maybe if we can analyze this hair, we'll be able to decipher who the letter's writer is!"

"...Guys, It's brown hair, a huge number of the girls in the Star City High School have that hair color." replied Kevin in an irritated tone. "It will take us forever to discover which girls does the hair belong to."

"Or maybe we won't take that much." said Penny, scratching her chin as she got an idea. "All we need to do is go find Miss Sally and-"

"Did someone said my name?"

"I heard you say my name, and I have read this chapter in revenge for Mister Sanderson, who only got a minor role." replied Miss Sally. "Anyway, do you need my help with anything?"

Looking at the hair and then back at Miss Sally, who suddenly had dna-identifying equipment with her, the team exchanged looks before smiling and turning back to the woman. "Actually, we do need your help with something." answered Penny, handing the hair to the woman.

(At the Hallways)

Emilia was checking her locker, right before a shadow got above here which got her attention. It was Kevin, with the rest of the team at his side. "Sorry guys, no more helping you today." replied Emilia. "Wait until tomorrow, maybe then I'll be available for you."

"Oh right, and if you mind, would you please tell us why this little piece of hair was in the locker that Miss told us to look for?" requested Kevin, with Emilia getting a shocked look. "Oh, and why is there a picture of me in your gymnasium locker as well?"

The girl, after a moment of silence, left running as fast as she could before being pinned down by Penny and Daisuke, who used all their strength to make sure she wouldn't escape. "You can't prove anything!" stated Emilia, trying to release herself from the teens grasp.

"Give it up Emilia, we know you did it." said Mindy. "My picture in your locker, a piece of hair matching your dna, your name being the one miss elizabeth could not reveal, it all points towards you!"

After hearing that, Emilia got a worried look as she tried to found a way to get out of the situation. It didn't took her long before she figured out she had no escape from this, and looked down in defeat. "Fine, you found me." replied Emilia. "I was the one who wrote the letter."

"But why did you lied to us about it?" asked Daisuke as he and Penny released the girl. "You said you would not admire somebody you recently met."

"It was something I said to lower the suspicions, don't you know that's what guilty people do to do the same thing?" "Whatever, you already know. What are you gonna do to me?"

"We're gonna ask you more questions, because quite frankly there's just so much that bugs me today." "First of all, why was July the one to put the letter in my locker?"

"I asked her to put the love letter in your locker, I was even ready to bargain her with tickets to a free tour through the upcoming museum of star city if she declined." explained Emilia. "And when she accepted to do it, I was so happy I gave her the tickets anyway."

"Okay one more question; why, of all the boys in the school, was I the one you decided to admire for?" asked Kevin.

"I don't know, I just looked at you one day without appearing-which is some that can be done, but It's difficult-and I just got attracted to you." answered Emilia, blushing and twiddling with her thumbs as she continued. "I don't know if It's your optimistic nature or your general handsomeness, but I got attracted to you. I just hope you don't see me as a freak for liking you, since I'm some years younger than you."

"Well, if I was teacher, I would only see you as a little strange and probably call you some help." replied Kevin, getting down one knee and putting his hand on the girl's shoulder. "But being honest, you being my secret admirer is, while not something I expected, a bit nice and cute. We can still be friends, okay?"

"You wanna be friends?" asked Emilia, her pupils turning into hearts.

"Sure." replied Kevin, getting ready for a hug. "Come here, Emilia."

The girl proceeded to jump towards the teenager, wildly kissing him everywhere while the rest tried to release Kevin from her, or try to calm her down, quite frankly it was difficult to notice the difference.

---

So yeah, the random girl who acted like a detective was my secret admirer.

Sometime after explaining about relationships with her, a bit later after she asked me a hundred times to become her boyfriend, she took it rather well, and now we're in good terms. Even if she is a little bit...creepy sometimes.

5: Sapphire Quest
Sapphire Quest

(January 30th)

Journal 01#,

My parents, the King and Queen of the Star Kingdom, have called upon my friends of the kingdom for an important mission. They are my younger brother knight Sir Coemgenus, the Royal Mage Daysun and the Thief Penny. Yes they all chose their classes willingly, why do you ask?

With a wish to get out of here and beat some monsters with the heroes, Princess Melinda.

---

(Star Kingdom, Royal Castle of Royalty)

The trio, joined with the princess, bowed down to the King and Queen, who looked like the typical king and queen. Sir Coemgenus was wearing the normal knight armor, only this one was of a golden color. On his hand was a long sword, which was known as the Royal long sword of the Star Kingdom. How did he got it is a mystery.

The Royal Mage Daysun was wearing a normal blue robe with stars around it, a matching wizard hat and glasses. On his hand was a metal staff with a rainbow crystal in it.

Penny was wearing what all female thief's normally used: A green shirt with the stomach part cut off to show the midriff, green pants, and black shoes. She had two metal, silver-colored knives.

And finally the princess was wearing a long pink dress, white gloves and on the sword sheet on her left as a golden sword of the Castle of Royalty.

"We came as fast as you asked, your majesty." uttered Daysun.

"And I'm surprised you also called me on this too." added Penny, getting a weird look from everybody in response. "What? It is shocking that a thief is among you guys."

"We have a mission for you all." said the King of the Star Kingdom.

"What is this mission, Father?" inquired Princess Melinda.

"I need you to go to the Castle of Darkness and find one of our best knights." said the King of the Star Kingdom. "Sir Atlas, said knight that is among the best of our knights, has fallen to the dark side. If you can manage to beat some sense into him though, he might change opinions before joining Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl and his army of chaos."

"You can trust us, your nameless majesty." stated Sir Coengenus, earning a deadpan look from the king and queen, which he didn't notice. "We'll get your knight back to your kingdom and, if we manage to get enough time, we'll defeat the forces of Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl"

"We have to warn you, that he has the strength of 3 protagonists, so he's not gonna be easy to defeat." "But anyway, you have to go quickly, as we speak the forces of Overlord Obvious Villain might be going to the castle as fast as the speed of the plot-"

"Huh, good thing they decided to ignore me." said the Queen of the Star Kingdom, with the King nodding in agreement. "They got no time to waste."

Outside the castle, the team walked towards the path the closest to the castle, which turned out to be a path filled with deadly, vicious creatures. Monsters that make Penny's huge bow look normal in comparison!

"Oh no Paragraph, the things we are gonna fight are way worse than what you just said." replied Penny, taking out her bow and looking around. "If we don't pay attention to our surroundings, we might be eliminated before we manage to get to the Castle of Darkness, knock some sense into Sir Atlas and he'll join with Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl!"

Something out of bushes than came out, startling our heroes. The thing was a Bard that looked suspiciously like Mister Sanderson, only wearing a green Bard Suit and a beret with a feather on it.

"Hello heroes, I'm a random bard known only as..." The Bard played a bit of his violin before resuming. "The Bard."

"Quick Penny, kill it with your awful singing!" ordered Princess Melinda, with Penny getting ready to do such a thing.

"Nono, you don't need to do that," assured The Bard, with Penny stopping as he continued. "I'm just here to help you with your journey. By singing a song about it!"

A long silence passed as the Bard waited for the team to give him their answer. "Sure." uttered Sir Coemgenus. "Why not?" Those words were enough and The Bard started to sing, all while a montage describing what the lyrics said happened.

And thus our great heroes,
Go upon their journey,
Battling with great beasts,
And sights that must be seen!

All of this is accompanied,
By a traveling song,
It's not really necessary,
But hey, what can go wrong?

A huge roar was heard as the team turned around, spotting a huge mob of monsters running towards them, looking extremely angry with steam coming out of their ears and noses and glowing red eyes.

Oh no!

The team tried to defeat them, but there were 3 problems: The monsters were immune to magic, they were hard to hurt physically and they were too many for them. So they were left with just one option: FLEE FOR THEIR LIVES!

The dreaded words been said,
And of all people from me!
And with monsters coming for them,
Our heroes had to flee!

After days and days of running,
Without the ability to stop,
They got away from the monsters,
And ended near a shop!

The music suddenly stopped for our heroes to turn around and saw the mall the song was speaking about. Exchanging looks and smiles, the team went inside and brought some potions, right before they entered a forest and the song resumed.

After buying some potions,
Both for health and mana,
They had to go through a forest,
Filled with deadly fauna!

And then sometime later,
Looking sick of traveling,
They just decided to stop,
And relax peacefully.

It didn't took long before the song sped up though, with a faster montage showing what the lyrics said next.

And some more walking,
And fighting,
And running,
And slashing,
And punching,
And kicking,
And avoiding,
And recording,
And destroying,
And recovering,
And defending,
And fleeing,
And some other actions,
That end with "ing"!

(Outside of the Castle of Darkness)

The team, exhausted and looking tired of the bard's troublesome singing, looked at the outside of the Castle, getting a determined look and smile as they approached it. Unfortunately The Bard continued to sing.

Our heroes arrive...
At the Castle of Darkness...
To knock some sense...
To the fallen hero...

Known only as...

Sir Atlas!

The bard stops and catches his breath, just long enough for Sir Coemgenus to push him out of the rock he's standing on and fall to the waters, where he's then grabbed by some weird humanoid fishes.

"Okay, here we are." said Penny as she looked at the castle. "Now what do we do?"

Sir Coemgenus walked to the gates and knocked a single time, upon which a huge megaphone came out of nowhere and looked directly at the knight. "Come in!" loudly exclaimed the megaphone.

With the megaphone vanishing, the gates of the castle open and the team victoriously go inside...only to discover the absurd amount of stairs they had to go through until they could get to the throne room. So they wasted no time and went up the stairs as fast as they could.

(1 Hour Later, Throne Room)

The team, looking extremely exhausted, at last arrived at the throne room, getting down on the floor to catch their breath. "At last we got here, now all we need to do is find Sir Atlas." said Princess Melinda, catching her breath.

Sadly they were unable to rest for long-

"Oh come on!"

-Because unexpectedly ninja-knight hybrids, who looked strangely like the Timeline Scouts, appeared and confronted the group. Quickly getting up and silently threatening to beat me up if I didn't gave them enough of a break, the heroes started a quick fight with the ninja knights. They won, of course.

"Can we get a break now?" asked Penny.

Please be more specific; a break as in to relax, or a break as in a monster that could break your bones?

"Paragraph!" complained everybody.

Okay, okay! They all afterwards took a break of one hour.

(ANOTHER hour later)

Having relaxed, the heroes got up and turned to see a shadow on the throne room coughing. The shadow got off the throne and walked to the lights, revealing itself to be...

"I'm Sir Atlas!" exclaimed the knight in a pink armor with green polka dots, with blue shoulder pads with yellow flowers, and instead of metal shoes metal sandals with blue socks. Not to mention a bow on the helmet. "Sir Atlas the Fashion Catastrophe, to be exact."

"Hey, why does the castle has so many stairs?!" asked the Royal Mage Daysun.

"Sorry, I honestly thought you could just teleport like it was nothing." uttered Sir Atlas, sounding a bit worried about the team's condition.

"Why are you doing this Sir Atlas the Fashion Catastrophe?" inquired Sir Coemgenus.

"Didn't you saw the Ninja Knights you just beat up? They look amazing!" replied Sir Atlas. "The horned helmets look a bit more unique than usual, their uniforms are epic! And most importantly, they have long white hair that flows with the wind. Sure the last one has nothing to do with fashion but-"

"So that's why you betrayed your whole kingdom? Fashion and cute-looking boys?!" replied the Royal Mage Daysun, with Sir Atlas looking down and nodding in response. "I'm disgusted by your actions, Sir Atlas."

"We all are, Daysun." added Penny.

"I fight for the coolest-looking side, and sadly, that side is the side of Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl!" exclaimed Sir Atlas, raising his sword to face the heroes. "Now prepare to fight, because as we all know there is always an epic battle between the heroes and the traitor before the OTHER epic battle between the heroes and the main villain!"

The fight begun, represented by crudely drawn figures of the heroes and Sir Atlas engaging in battle. In the middle of it a giant dice appeared, which knocked Sir Atlas down as the heroes celebrated their triumph.

The visuals return to normal ones as the heroes approach Sir Atlas, who futilely tries to get up. "Now you will change sides and join us in finding a way to stop Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl said Princess Melinda. "

"Hehehe, It's too late." replied Sir Atlas, vanishing in a poof of smoke and repairing at the throne, where he sent a sphere of energy towards it. "The coast is clear, my lord! Jump from your imprisonment and be free!"

An interdimensional portal was opened at the throne, with an evil laugh being heard as another shadow-this time covered in smoke-comes out of the portal, dissapearing the smoke around it to show It's true form; a huge red knight armor with a huge bow on the head, pink boots and rockets attached to the chest.

The portal itself vanishes from existence as the heroes instantly, and obviously, realize who came out of the portal. "Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl!" said the team in unison with an angry tone.

"Yes, It's me." spoke Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl in an incredibly deep, childish voice. "And I have seen you managed to defeat my minion, Miss Sir Atlas the Fashion Catastrophe."

Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl walked to Sir Atlas and took off the helmet of his armor, revealing his face to look exactly like Jennifer's. "Gasp!" announced the heroes in shock.

"Yeah, I was a girl all along." said Sir Atlas as she got up. "Big shocker, right?"

"Well, seeing as part of your name is sir-"

"Enough with your talking, that is my job." interrupted Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl, who turned to Miss Sir Atlas and put his hand on her shoulder. "Miss Sir Atlas, if you accept to become my newest minion and most recent lieutenant, I will give you enough power to destroy that quartet with yoru bare hands."

"Don't listen to him Miss Sir Atlas the Fashion Catastrophe!" exclaimed Princess Melinda as the shadows restrained her. "He will turn you into a mindless slave if you accept!"

"Actually, my lord, I don't think I will be able to. Not because they're protagonists and by default too difficult to defeat" "But because I was never gonna join you anyway!"

Miss Sir Atlas attacked the Evil Overlord's face, only for the sword to barely tickle him as it broke in two. Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl then grabbed and lifted Miss Sir Atlas, who, as a last attack, punched the Overlord's face hard enough to break the helmet into pieces.

Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl released the knight, who fell down to the floor before falling unconscious. The heroes then looked in shock as they saw that the Overlord's face looked exactly as July's.

"Louder gasp!" shouted the heroes, shocked yet again.

"Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl, was actually a girl!" exclaimed Sir Coemgenus, pointing at the overlord. His look changed from surprised to confused before saying the next. "Why am I surprised?"

"Now that you have discovered my real identity, I guess I'll have to destroy you." said Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl, taking out her sword. "Prepare for this battle heroes, because I will end victorious!"

The heroes took out their weapons and charged towards Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl, this time the action was presented as normal visuals instead of crudely drawn like the Sir Atlas fight. At the beginning Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl looked like she was gonna win, only for the heroes to counterattack with bigger force, sending the Overlord towards a wall.

Upon the crash a huge crater was left, though the Overlord didn't fall. Instead she grabbed the wall, with all her strength ripped it off and threw it at the heroes as she fell, with them barely avoiding a crushing defeat.

And yet again, another huge dice came out of nowhere, breaking part of the castle. This time it hit Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl, with the heroes watching in shock as the dice constantly bounced all around the place and hitting Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl without missing a single time.

"Enough of this!" exclaimed Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl in July's normal voice.

(In Reality)

The kids, wearing the same clothing that the medieval heroes and villains were wearing, were playing on the Living Room. On the table was a game titled "Sapphire Quest" on the middle of the lands, with the heroes and villains being at the area of the Castle of Darkness.

"Kevin be more careful, you're gonna knock everybody out of the game if you keep throwing the dice like that at them!" scolded Mindy.

"Yeah you knocked out my figure when we were in the middle of the fight, and I get the feeling you want to do the same with July's." added Jennifer.

"Okay sorry, when I throw the dice again I'll skip to the ending." said Kevin, throwing the dice yet again.

This time the dice went out of control, jumping everywhere around the room and hitting Mister Sanderson and the Timeline Scouts before finally landing on the table on the 6 numbered part of the dice. Afterwards Mindy grabbed her princess figure and hit July's figure as Kevin said the ending of the game.

"Nevertheless and quite predictably, the heroes end up victorious as Evil Overlord Obviously a Girl did the most manly thing she could think of; skip away crying while shouting "I'm gonna tell my mommy!" to the heroes, with her army of Chaos following soon behind." said Kevin in a completely serious tone.

"I'm somehow okay with what you just said."

"So am I."

"The Bard managed to become the weird fishes personal music player." continued Kevin.

The team and Jennifer and July turned to see Mister Sanderson, dressed like The Bard, singing a song to the Timeline Scout Present Group 312, who were dressed as the weird fish that grabbed The Bard.

"And the heroes returned to the kingdom with a tied up Sir Atlas, explaining everything to the king and queen before leaving with a party behind them." finished Jennifer. "Everybody lived happily ever after, the end."

Stretching before getting up, July, Jennifer, the Timeline Scouts Present Group 312 and Mister Sanderson got up and went to the door. "Okay, goodbye guys." said July as Mister Sanderson opened the door. "It was nice to see and play with you."

The kids and Mister Sanderson left and the closed itself, with the team starting to pack the game back on the box. However, they stopped when they saw Jennifer return. "The Timeline Scouts said that, not me or July." uttered the girl as she walked to the team.

"Actually, I'm pretty sure July said it just a moment ago." said Daisuke, scratching the back of his head as he remembered what happened a moment ago.

"The Timeline Scouts said it, end of conversation." stated Jennifer extremely close to the boy, right before she skipped to the door and left the house.

After that the team resumed packing the game, with Penny and Daisuke leaving when the entire game was packed. "Thanks for playing with us guys." said Kevin to Penny and Daisuke.

"Anytime Kevin, though I prefer the version in our video game consoles." replied Penny, taking out her video game console. "Wanna play for a while on the couch?"

"You bet!" exclaimed Kevin in excitement, also taking out his video game console.

The two kids went to the couch and turned on their consoles, with Mindy and Daisuke exchanging pleased smiles as they walked to and saw the two play.

---

That was one heck of a game. Not the BEST game ever, but it was still a pretty enjoyable game. Though when I tried it on Kevin's video game console, that was a version which made the one we played look slightly inferior in comparison.

Now if you excuse me, I gotta return Kevin;s video game console back to him before he notices I took it from him.

With nothing else to add, Mindy Zarisen.
