Prologue

Prologue

War has ravished the universe, itself, in ways that could only be done by the likes of god-like beings. Once brothers, these formless deities of darkness and light fought over the well being of all that is and all that ever will be, the Source.

The Source is the heart of all existence. It was over this power that the brothers practically broke down the heavens. They took their fight and blood shed to the mortal plain. taking the form of mortals in the world of the living. They were both clad in armor of shining gold and radiant power.

Like minded mortals all across the universe converged around them and formed organizations around them as worshipers fighting for their cause. One continuously fighting for absolute power; the other for absolute order. Their constant struggle has lasted for countless generations. For most, death and war simply became a way of life as these two Immortals gathered forces of mortal men around them from across the universe. It was foretold that one would end the great war between gods and mortals.

As the multiple millennia had gone by, there had been no end in sight. Hope for a true end to the suffering had seemed like a child's dream. However, caught in a moment of weakness, the dark god's greatest general and overseer of his vast armada, known as the crow king, has been captured by us, the Order's six greatest defenders, but at the cost of a special mortal and friend known as the Gatekeeper.

The only one with the power to keep the Source sealed away. The crow's wings have been clipped and will not aid in his master's ambition ever again. Transmission over.

"As odd as ever, master Mi-Dori, with your monologuing habit." A short man with green slicked back hair wearing dark green half torn ropes stood on a large hill with clay colored dry grass. His back opposite to the kneeling man behind him in similar robes with the addition of black protective shoulder pad like armor, and a slender helmet with a black face plate. The green haired man looked up at the sky to see it with blackened clouds swirling violently with rain and lightning crashed down hard.

Giant military space cruisers hovered high above slowly and ominously, never fazed by the violent sky. Organized rows of intergalactic fighter jets flew by constantly. He sighed deeply and turned slightly while pulling a black piece of cloth out of his pocket and tied it around his head and covered his eyes, effectively blinding himself. Mi-Dori threw a recording device to his subordinate and said sadly to him

"Don't blame me, our lord request these logs when I'm on missions" His subordinate nodded in response and questioned further.

"Shall I send this to him then?" the mysterious green haired man nodded and added

"Yes, now leave this place. For the last time today, blood shall be spilt for the sake of all" with a slow nod the masked man jumped high into the sky towards one of the battleships. Once his subordinate was safely away Mi-Dori slid down the the hill into a large plateau with fire scattered around it, and at it's center stood six others.

They all huddled around each other with a man pinned to the ground with glowing broad swords with writing all over stuck through his hands, feet, and large black feathered wings. He had White Hair with black spiky tips and a torn black mask that partially covered the bottom half of his face and a torn black and red cloak.

When Mi-Dori had approached the group, they turned towards him, their faces covered by the shadow of their white cloaks, except for one who had been wrapped from head to toe in white bandages with blood splatters around them and one visible glowing yellow eye.

Even the pinned man looked up and opened his pupiless Crystal clear eyes to see him and mock. "Well if it isn't the little pet dragon, come to join the party?" he laughed weakly as blood dripped from the side of his mouth. Mi-Dori ignored the taunt of the dying man and turned towards the bandaged one and asked cautiously

"I thought you used your mental illusions to force his mind out of his body" the ever shifting bandaged man twitched as he tilted his head towards Mi-Dori and said while breathing erratically

"That bastard CROW... has a STRONG will... even now he FIGHTS meeee just to speak...He MIGHT be more compliant if you ALLOW me to slit open his STOMACH, pull out his lower intestines and use them to strangle the words right OUT of hiiiim. He shook his head lightly at his own words and bent his head down, muttering to himself. This caused one of the hooded figures to speak

"It matters little, my swords of the sacred seal are keeping his physical body down and dimming the illumination of his soul" Her calming words reassured Mi-Dori and the others. With a half dead crazed soul piercing stare he looked upon the hooded women who sealed his limbs and threatened her harshly while blood continued to spurt from his mouth.

"Oh you black magic bitch, I swear… I will kill you slowly... and intimately for what you've done to my wings, for what you've done to me, and you little treacherous demon brat. I will introduce you to true nightmares before sending you back to your dear dead brother. Then you’ll see who the true master of fear is?" through the shadows of their hoods, there eyes could be seen glowing a fierce blue. The ground beneath them began to crack and shake. The captive cackled at their display.

"Look at you all, you have the audacity to think I'm a monster? look at what you Order trash have done here, no I don't think i'm the monster today" this statement caused one of the shorter hooded figures to draw a white short sword that was hollow in the center and pointed it towards the downed mans throat in a backwards grip as she laid upon him.

"You have no right, you've killed so many innocent lives. You've killed him." tears ran down her cheeks, he looked upon the assailant sitting upon him with a mockingly sympathetic look on his face.

"Oh you poor dear, the Gate-Keeper was your lover wasn't he? I'm so sorry." Slowly his sympathetic look turned into sadistic joy. "Does it hurt you? that I ripped out his still beating heart slowly... intimately? does it feel like i've done the same to you? It must, because I can feel your entire body trembling and let me tell you baby, between that and the knife to my throat you are really turning me on… in the most… intimate way possible."

Nearly overtaken by rage, the hooded female raised her blade and twirled it in her hand before pointing it at him, using a more forward grip. through gritted teeth she said in an equally mocking tone "hearing you say 'intimately' over and over again is enough for me to kill you." his smile widened as his eyes grew colder he continued to mock.

"You gonna kill me you little cunt? HUH? well let's see you do it...do it…do it!….DO IT!" she tried to force down her blade and split his skull, but she was suddenly thrown backwards. She instinctively back flipped while in the air and landed soundlessly on her feet. Her hood now down revealing the face of a pale girl with short black hair that barely covered her ears. Her right eye was covered by her bangs. Her visible left eye was streaming tears of anger and her glowing eye began to switch from an ocean blue to a yellowish red.

Lightning and rain continued to crash around them. Losing her composure completely she screamed "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! WE HAVE HIM, HE DESERVES TO DIE!" Mi-Dori looked at her, truly feeling for her pain and said

"No, not like this little Nizaraa, it is not our way to kill for revenge or hatred." The emerald green man then drew one of the swords from the sheaths on his back and quickly sliced of the man's head as he screamed frantically

"I CAN NOT DIE!" Without a trace of emotion he wiped away the blood from his blade and said.

"We kill out of necessity, for the safety of others." The young girl recomposed herself and kept her tears at bay. She bowed and said a bit shaken

"Yes, master Mi-Dori" he shook his head at the apologising girl and said

"None of that young master, you are one of the Seven now. Stand tall" She stood up nodding, and returned amongst the others while putting her hood up. The tallest of the hooded figures turned towards Mi-Dori with the brightest of the glowing eyes and questioned

"Now oh fearless leader, what of the war efforts? This is without a doubt a crippling loss to the Shadow Walkers." He looked up at the tall figure and replied while sighing deeply

"I don't know Creed, I just know that if the next Gate Keeper isn't born, the Source will continue to be at risk and the war will continue."

Chapter 1: My Name Is Rocu

Part 1: The Wolf, The Scorpion, And The Tarantula

Chapter 1: My Name Is Rocu

Lightning struck nearby the mouth of a large cave. The flash of light startled the boy from within, causing him to growl wildly in defense so loudly that it nearly matched the thunder that followed soon afterwards. In the dark all that was visible were the eyes of the boy that for a few moments appeared to have a golden glimmer before fading. "Stupid fucking lighting."

Rain crashed down heavily on this quiet planet. Laurel green clouds blocked the night sky. In the forest, most of the creatures were running for cover and warmth in their dens and burrows. They all steered away from a certain cave for the past few nights. Its' mouth was large and covered with thick moss. There was no source of light in the cave. inside, there was a child; a boy in fact. They left him to himself.

These beasts might have been primitive, but they knew this scent and that mad howl to be that of wolves that ruled over these lands as deadly hunters. From within its' depths, he sat alone in utter confusion and fear. For days he laid there, still not knowing who he was, what he was doing there and why his head hurt as if it was cracked wide open. Like any other lost scared child with a splitting headache, he had cried without end. Barely able to even take proper breaths through the sobs, but that had been days ago.

Now, he was tired of crying. As he listened to the rain echoing within the cave walls, he thought to himself. I wonder if the sky is crying for me. Heh. Dunno, would be nice for someone besides me to do it. The nameless boy searched across the cave for more of the unpleasant moss. After mere moments of searching across the rocky walls, he had found patches of it where he had been scraping it off with his nails. After gathering more, his face squinted in mild disgust as he sniffed it.

"I hate this stuff... but it's all I can eat," he groaned, shutting his eyes tightly, he shoved in his mouth and ate it as quickly as possible, in the hopes of not having to taste it for anymore than a second or two. He sat back down on the patchy stone ground. He took a rock and started to fiddle it in his hands. He sighed impatiently. The red sun hasn't yet rise. It needs to be day in order for him to explore. His vision at night was just as good as it was during the day. However, the thought of exploring during the night was unsettling.

There were other creatures whose vision were clearer in the dark and much bigger than he was with sharper teeth. Walking during the day just made him feel safer with exploring. He hoped the place he knew nothing about was close by. Although, it would help if he knew how to get there. This non sense made him feel confused and irritated. Hopefully, when he goes back to exploring, it might clear his clouded mind.

"Who am I? I wish I could remember," he growled. Frustrated, he stretched out his right index finger and jabbed his forehead. It didn't matter that it worsen his headache, it was all he could do in order to keep himself from kicking and screaming, potentially hurting himself… again. He didn't like the fact he couldn't remember a damn thing. All he needed was for something to jog his memory. As if being struck by lightning it hit him, his head throbbed. Fragmented memories started to gush forward.

From shock, his vision started to blur. All he could see was white. As his vision cleared, he realized he was in a white room. The walls flashed an iridescent glow. The surface of this room was smooth stone. In one corner of the room, there were blocks of different sizes and colors. There was a wooden sword laying on a few blocks. It seemed familiar to him, but he didn't know why. He heard a soft cry coming from the other side of the room.

As he turned, his eyes laid upon a scared woman. She was crying in pure horror. Her form shook violently as she cried her bloodshot eyes. Her appearance frightened the boy. He wanted to help her, but he was a child. What could he do? He slowly walked toward the woman. His foot kicked one of the blocks. Her head snapped up to find the boy approaching her. He stopped in his tracks as he saw her eyes flashed with fear. He flinched when she tried to speak. In a cracked voice, she pleaded:

"ROCU! YOU MUST RUN! O-LIN CAN'T HAVE YOU, I WON'T LET THEM KILL MY BABY BOY...RUN!" He didn't think twice as he ran away from the scared woman. His mouth uttered the words,

"Mommy, come on!" He was confused, but he was scared for his life. The urge to turn around and run back to the woman was tormenting him. Then, a scream of terror pierced his ears and messed up his train of thought. His heart skipped a beat. His feet continued to press forward. He made it to the end of the white stone hallway. As he turned to go down the spiral stones steps, he stopped when he heard the sound of a thunderous explosion. His eyes shrunk in panic and he screamed,

"Mommy!"

He realized that the explosion and scream could only mean the worse. All of a sudden, something hits him in the back of his head. He swore he heard the back of his head crack. The force was enough to throw the boy off his feet and out of the nearby window. He could see it, his vision began to blur. 'Was I passing out or dying?' He looked down to see the river with its' fierce waves below him. Before he passed out altogether, he hears:

" ROCU!"

He snapped back to reality, as quickly as it began it ended. His head felt like it was set ablaze. The boy jerked straight up and held his head with his right hand feeling the back of it, lightly scratching it. He panted confused, he wondered what the hell that was that the just experienced. In shock and further confusion, the cold night air left him to his thoughts. As if the dark silence answered one of his questions. Puzzled, he breathed out:

"My name... is Rocu?"

3: Chapter 2: Planet Wilderan
Chapter 2: Planet Wilderan

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! echoed in her, once, quiet private quarters. The alarm clock sounded like an irritating screech that tried to pierce her ears and make them bleed. Not only that, but for a second she was almost sure that her brother had made this blasted thing just to piss her off. However, she knew better and had to get up. She groaned beneath her silky black sheets. Lazily, she raised her left arm as she pointed evilly towards the obnoxious circular buzzing red alarm.

With an almost demonic snap of her hand, the buzzer was suddenly assaulted by an unnatural swirl of wind and then exploded into thousands of tiny pieces of red glass and machinery. Through half lidded barely conscious eyes, she blankly stared at the scattered pieces of debris on the floor. Her eyes had a slight blue glow within them. Admiring her handy work, she weakly smirked at the now silent hole above her double doors.

She jumped out of bed, almost launching herself. She performed a tuck in front flip, landing soundlessly on the balls of her feet. She stood there in her black and navy blue lace bra with matching panties. As she stretched and cracked the rest of her bones, the woman's lips turned down into a frown before saying to no one in particular,

"Why did that brat brother of mine wake me up? It hasn't even been half of a full cycle yet…." She walked towards a cylinder like structure on the far right side of her now messy bed. It stood at about 10 feet tall and three feet across with a sword and shield symbol that pierced an O in the center of the structure. The women waved her hand across it and suddenly it opened up. The doors merged into the structure. The upper half curled up into this strange machine like structure.

She stepped in, yawning, trying to wake herself from her annoyingly brief sleep. The doors snapped shut almost at an alarmingly fast speed. Mere seconds later, there was a loud snap and light had been seen through the cracks. As the door opened, the steam bellows out as she stepped out. With slightly damp hair, she was dressed in her full on uniform: a plain sleeveless black shirt with light metal mesh sown within and extending out to the neck and from her shoulders to her wrist.

Around her waist, a belt with small pockets held up her baggy, white pants. Her long, white robe with three black lines went down her shoulders horizontally. A solid black line went vertical at the ends of the sleeves and at the bottom of her robe. Near the center of these robes lied a circular symbol with two arms crossing each other clad in the same metal mesh around the arms and wrist.

The now fully awoken woman dashed past her double doors, turned left, and ran down the long hall with blinding speed. As if mocking the great halls artificial gravity, she ran across the side of the wall and curves around the ceiling before touching back down to the ground near a large metal door that swings open after sensing her presence. She stepped into a circular enclosed space with two chairs at the center and a large control panel around it.

Above that a specialized type of glass pain. All she could see was the vastness of space and faraway stars zipping by. Gods, she hated space travel. This fact perplexed her brother and slightly pissed him off. He wondered why She was so good at piloting the Space Wing Fighters yet hated them. To him, it was like someone who's afraid of water but at the same time a fucking expert swimmer.

She raised an eyebrow in slight irritation as she waited for the chair on the far right to turn and acknowledge her presence. Instead, an evil grin slowly stretched across her face. She cleared her throat and said,

"The mission alarm broke again." As if on cue, a feminine mechanical voice announced,

"AUTOPILOT ENGAGED". Suddenly, the chair turned with a mechanized hiss. The pilot eyed the woman in front of him. She could see his eyebrow twitched in annoyance. His hands were lightly digging into the arm rests. He fiercely tapped his right index finger.

"Are you fucking kidding me?! How did it break, Nizaraa?!" he scolded.

"Must've been faulty wiring," she stated lazily as she scratched her head.

"BULL SHIT! I'm the head of the Order's Science Development and Exploration Corps. I designed battlecruisers and star ships that will outlast their damn pilots! And you have the balls to tell me... that little tiny light has broken for the three hundred and eighty seventh time... from faulty wiring?" he roared. His sister was drawing his patience.

"Wow… really? You were counting?" She retorted as a smirk spread across her face. The young looking man started to spout out incoherent muttering about Vanguards. She ate up every second of his anger. Pleased that he was as mad as she was, but soon stopped him for there were more pressing matters at hand.

"Hey Leezaar. What's this assignment?" In a bit of a shock, he stopped talking and looked off to the side. Nizaraa has been with her brother long enough to know that he was trying to figure out how to articulate what needed to be said. This caused her eyes to narrow, which only meant that she was really not going to like what her little brother was going to tell her at all. She could only brace herself for whatever he was about to say.

"This one comes from High Command." her brother informed, not turning to look at her. Her eyebrows furrowed, she asked:

"Wait, from lord-"

"Yes, it's from the master." He answered quickly. He squeezed his left hand into a tight fist. Nizaraa was hot headed at times, but Leezaar also knew she was as sharp as they come. She could catch on quick. Unfortunately, it only made it that much harder for him.

"So, that means he doesn't want me to send one of my subordinates…. Must be serious then." She pondered, leaning against the wall. Her arms crossed in front of her chest as she stared up at the ceiling. He turned his chair to look her.

"Yeah... Central Command has found it. His energy signature has resurfaced to the living." He stated, grimly. From this new information, her eyes widened and the pain she held deep within for many years gushed forth all at once. It was like someone was stabbing her heart. Being the type of woman that didn't like weakness, she kept her composure as best as she could. Keeping her treacherous tears back, she looked at her now worried brother thinking damn him for knowing me so well. Hesitantly, she questioned:

"How..? That can't be. I haven't-"

"I know, Niz, but it's him. He's back in a new form, and HE wants you to go get him." he pointed out, bitterly. She couldn't refuse the master and knew he was wise beyond all. But, why her? She had many qualified subordinates who could have just as easily taken on this retrieval mission. Despite the situation, she knew that their master must've had a good reason for it. Why me? was all she thought. Acting as the top notch fighter that she was, she shutted down her feelings for the assignment at hand.

"So, what planet will we find this boy on?"she asked, monotone. Leezaar walked to his hollow screen and pulled up a three dimensional holographic map of nearby galaxies. As he flicked around looking for the right galaxy he touched one and the map zoomed in

"Here, in the Rogonias galaxy." he stated, touching it again to zoom in further. "The Solestreum solar system." She looked around the map.

"What planet?" she asked. He zoomed in one last time to one world. He responded with

"Planet Wilderan."

4: Chapter 3: The Death of Rocu Con Ookami
Chapter 3: The Death of Rocu Con Ookami

Rocu stood up, walking in circles. Now more confused than ever, he just wanted to understand The broken memories in his fractured mind. He was able to place a name to his own face, but couldn't yet place a face to the woman that was his own mother. What happened to her? Why did it happen? Why would someone want to hurt him? Why couldn't he save her? More questions gathered than answers, he needed to remember more. In frustration, he slumped down on the ground. He crossed his arms, angrily.

He then managed to calm himself down enough to focus. He figured it was the best way to discover who wanted him dead. The sudden realization that child killers had been looking for him made him fear that if he left the cave, whoever was after him in his perplexing vision would find him and achieve what they wanted: turning him into a corpse.

He tried hard to bring out the broken memories. Finally, after several minutes of sitting and thinking, tangible words started to spring forth in his mind. Not as vivid as the images he had seen before, but he would take whatever he could get.

Trying to understand it all was difficult. It was like the words were crashing into each other at once. It was practically incoherent noise, there were so many voices, but he was able to make out a couple of them.

'... Our nation is too important. We can't let its' fate be decided by mere children, my king….' '... Filthy little wolf….' '... One day we're gonna fight, but not as enemies….''... You promise, we'll always be friends...?' '... Always...' Rocu was forced to stop tapping into his lost memories at that moment. The pain from his head trauma was becoming too severe, making it harder to focus. It was a shame too. For at the last second, he was sure that he was able to recollect an image of a little girl with short black hair, a toothy grin and a gap in the middle of her teeth, and pointy ears on the top of her head, but nothing beyond that.

As he looked around in the darkness, he sighed cursing his headache. His aimless stumbling caused him to trip over a rock and fall to the ground, face first. This caused him to get mad once again, Rocu yelled,

"Goddamnit!I hope the sun comes up soon, I'm getting tired of this damned darkness!"

The boys angered words echoed throughout the caves borders a pair of mysterious men walked around the near by forest, searching. Close by a roaring waterfall, as they walk barefooted in the grass one of them stops. His long elf like ears twitching, he turns his head, tilting it in curiosity with a shining red glint in his eye. The man smiled and his mysterious companion looked at him with similar curiosity.

"What? did your ears pick up on something?" the grinning stranger looked at him with excitement.

"Possible. Predetermined. Prey" he then ran at hauntingly speeds in search of the sounds source, the man next to him sighed and followed his blood thirsty compatriot.

Soon after, the hairs on the back of Rocu's neck stood on its' ends. He couldn't see in this darkness, but he could smell something. Two creatures of some kind and with his long ears he could hear them too. Approaching fast. What the hell? thought the confused child.

He couldn't put his finger on why, but something about this felt very wrong, It sent a primal chill down his spine. He knew that whatever was coming, it would not be his salvation. This encroaching presence felt murderous. His instincts were practically screaming at him, telling him to run and hide, but his legs would not stop shaking.

Why am I so scared? they were coming closer and closer to the cave. Out of what can only be described as pure survival instincts taking hold, he bit down on his bottom lip and sank one of his fangs into it, the pain broke the mentally binding shackles of his fear and ran towards the back of the cave frantically.

While thinking of where he could hide, he felt himself drop suddenly. Rocu had ran straight into a large body of water. He almost let out a gasp from how cold it was. It would have given him away indefinitely. Water? There was water in here all this time?! And I've been goin' out, looking for it?... whatever it works for a hiding place. He took in a large breath and covered his mouth, swimming quietly behind a large rock. As the mysterious pair entered, Rocu began to try and listen to what they were saying.

"You said you heard something from in here?" a gravely voice echoed.

"I thought I did, it could be the boy hiding in one of these caves. Can't tell, Hard to make out anything in this darkness. Hell it's hard to hear from some of these waterfalls" a calmer slightly older voice responded. Rocu could only think:

holly hell, thank you darkness I take back my unforgiving rage towards you. He hears them sniffing wildly at the air. Crap can they smell me?

"Nothin, can't smell a damn thing but moss"

"Can't be helped, the moss in this area stinks"

Oh thank you moss... and everything else I hated with a passion that is saving my life right now. As he listened intently in the darkness, practically holding his breath out of fear that they would hear him breathe and investigate around the water he realized that their footsteps were getting further and further away.

There leaving? Good. Their murky footsteps nearly too distant for his ears to hear, it caused Rocu to let out a sigh of relief. He regretted it, the sound echoed and this caused their heads to snap back around towards the sound they heard. From that point on, all Rocu could hear was animalistic growling and snarling that was almost demonic. It echoed throughout the cave.

Oh shit, did they hear me?, dammit, what do I do? What do I do? Rocu drew a blank, his fear was clouding his mind, with no way to escape, he closed his eyes and waited for his inevitable end, the waiting was maddening. Part of him wanted to hurry and end it, while the other part wanted to cling to life for as long as possible, he hadn't even realized that they had stopped advancing.

Once Rocu's heart stopped beating so fast he was able to shake away the intense fear that gripped him and began to comprehend what was happening, he realized that there was a loud howling that could be heard across the entire area. When he thought about it, it was more than just a loud howl. It had a certain pull, like it was calling for someone. A call to come back home, like a beacon, just not a beacon for him.

It must have been meant for them he had figured, because they, who only moments ago had been ready to tear apart the source of the noise they heard started to walk away. Rocu was able to hear them talking to each other.

"He's calling us back... fucking Alpha. We might've found something too. Something worth eating" Rocu could swear he heard one of the dark figures licking his lips.

Freaks thought Rocu as he wondered what kind of monsters they were that they'd actually want to kill him. Out of curiosity, as soon as he knew that they were far enough away he got out of the water and quietly walked towards the mouth of the cave and peaked out of it to get a good look at them.

He could see that one of them was tall and slender with long brown hair. His tail, long and furry . He also had a thin scar that stretched across his face from his cheek up to the bridge of his nose and back across the other cheek. The other was shorter and was more built, he had short brown spiky hair with a small ponytail going down slightly past his shoulders. The shorter one said

"It can't be helped, we can't ignore the Alpha's call brother. Or maybe, you want to be banished as a lowly Omega?" now looking smug the tall one blurted out

"Tsk, I could make it on my own" amused at his brothers ridicules statement the shorter one retorted

"Yeah? Well I could be the next crown prince" with that Rocu could here the annoyance in the lengthy Wolfs words.

"Kiss my ass Flin, and chase your own tail" choosing to ignore his brothers childish insult he thought that it would be better to focus on the matter at hand.

"Well Con, It doesn't really matter anyway" the tall wolf man nods in agreement.

"Yeah... there's no way that little brat survived his fall, this is a waste of time. With the Alpha's banding together coordinating the attack on the kingdom I'm sure that We've finally seen the end of the royal family and the death of Rocu Con Ookami "

5: Chapter 4: Crash Landing
Chapter 4: Crash Landing

"Wilderan?!... by the gods, he's there? But that damned planet is off limits to anyone from the Order, hell the whole G.G.A." Nizaraa sank into the chair next to her now amused brother, she then whined, cursing that rock of a planet for it's people being so fucking difficult. "This could go so much smoother if they had just accepted the G.G.A.'s proposal to join their ranks, but noooo. The Wilderanian kingdoms don't want to involve themselves with us. Stupid self absorbed planets." With a chuckle, Leezaar looked at his sister and teased.

"Don't you mean OUR ranks, by the way?" This caused her to chuckle humorlessly. True enough, it was well known by many, that the planetary systems from the neighboring galaxies that joined the G.G.A these days didn't do it because of the G.G.A itself. They joined because they wanted to be part of the famous organized military might associated with the G.G.A, our very own organization the Order. A fact that the G.G.A's rulers were not always happy with, for the G.G.A and the Order occasionally had... Clashing ideals. This simply made Leezaar's Sister say

"Heh yeah sure, well disregarding that. let's get to it" His eyes had suddenly lit up with a flair of excitement. Turning towards the controls of the ship, Leezaar joyfully said

"Breaking through their planets orbital defenses?" he asked while an evil child like smile slowly stretching across his face. he snickered "Could be fun, get ready to make the jump" flipping a few switches a mechanical voice announced

"Original course established, jumping to the Rogonias galaxy. Destination: Wilderan" the ship itself began to vibrate and hum softly as it drew power from it's hyper drive fuel. It then had an almost incomprehensible speed boost and for a split second appeared to stretch before jumping into hyper space, the force of the jump caused them to be pushed deep into their seats. As she lay there slumped in her chairs she tried to mentally prepare herself for the coming mission, but for the first time in along time, a mission would be hard for her.

She had protected many, and killed even more. All in the service of the order, this battle hardened assassin had been sent in to single handedly prevent wars, hell she had been sent to start a few. It was honestly quite astonishing what a few well placed strokes of a blade could do or a well placed poison.

Either way it always had something to do with corrupt politicians with too much power, but retrieving this mysterious being who is supposedly the new form of her long since dead love was unsettling for her. Of all the things to scare me it would be picking up a child.

Never before had she given herself to another person so completely, and for good reason. For those who joined the Order knew, a long life was not a guarantee.

That's why for most people in the Order seeking monogamous relationships with other Order agents was ill advised. She was no acceptation to that unspoken rule. For years it had been a taboo that she never had broken, until she met the man known as the loved him more than any other.

It was because of his eventual gruesome death that she learned that you never break the unspoken rule. For to love someone so intensely and to have them taken away in death has crushed the will of countless Order agents, and many more to madness.

She serves as one of the best examples in Order history. The day he died, she wished she died with him. After forcing those dreaded thoughts away she sighed from exhaustion. Nothing physical, just mental exhaustion from this life she was living of death and pain.

Leezaar noticed this, and it worried him deeply. Ever since they were children they had been alone, this war had cost them both their parents and they had promised themselves that they would have unnecessarily bloody vengeance. All they had were each other, except for a few close friends.

Normally they kept others at an arms length, but ever since that man died it was like a piece of Nizaraa went with him. She had even kept her brother distant at times. It's something that made him always keep an eye on his sister. He made sure that he would not lose his her. He made a promise that he would keep her safe.

Lost in thought Leezaar remembered the transmission he received prior to waking his sister for the mission. He was running a routine O.S diagnostic check on his freshly made ship, when an urgent transmission came in that interrupted him. After raising his brow he accepted it and looked at the screen in front him. There must have been some kind of interference, because the image of their leader on the other end was blurry and the transmission feed was a little of, no doubt he would have to fix that latter.

"My lord" said the now kneeling lezaar showing respect. before speaking the blurred image of the mysterious master nodded, acknowledging his show of respect.

"Leezaar I have something for you to pass on to Nizaraa" now deeply curious as to why the master wanted to pass an assignment on to the head of the Vanguard corps he pressed on.

"Of course, that is?" the staticky figure let out a deep sigh before continuing.

"The soul trace has activated" now eyes wide open Leezaar said confused

"What? But why now? That means that the line hasn't died"

"Yes the soul has formed a new body, we need to find him, or her, which ever the form of the soul has taken before they do"

"I-I understand lord O-Lin" now with concern the master known as O-lin stated

"But I know what this could mean for your sister, how hard it could be for her. I would permit it if she sends a team of her most trusted elites" pondering this for a few seconds it hit him, it could be perfect for her to see the gatekeeper of the sacred soul, it could be what she needs to be a bit more like her old self again. Hell it was worth a shot.

"I think she should take this on herself with my help of course my lord, with all due respect"

"You believe so?" Truthfully O-lin, had hoped he would say that.

"Something like this could be good for her, and if she makes contact herself, she may want to train em' and with her experience there's nobody more qualified in all the organized galaxies, and I know you my lord. It would be like you to want it to happen that way anyway" Leezaar could swear that through the distorted transmission he could see a devilish child like grin. Knowing he was right caused him to smirk.

"It would seem that those who are most loyal to me have grown to know me too well, but yes you're right. I think this would be the best way to get my Vanguard commander back into shape"

"I'll get right on that then my lord" pleased with his plan he knew that Nizaraa would thank him. He could practically hear her. Lee, thank you lee...lee...lee

"LEE!" Suddenly forced out of the day dream he snapped his head around to a very frantic Nizaraa who, at this point had taken control of the ship and was steering it erratically

"Did you enjoy that Lee?! While you were sleeping?! Was it good?! Did the dream bitch blow you?! I sure as shit hope it was good because the fucking ship got shot and is GOING DOWN!

Leezaar looked at the screen and was shocked to see that they were now approaching the planets surface at an incredible velocity and the atmosphere was starting to burn the ship's hull. He quickly took over, while pulling up on the ships controls he screamed screamed

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!"

"When we jumped out of hyperspace around the planets rings some of the satellites started to open and had orbital cannons. I dodged most of the incoming fire but got hit in the rear!" with a final press of a red button the ship compressed itself into a sphere with a hiss and four leg like protrusions came out from either side of the new shape. They extended out into flat wing like extensions to level of the ship and slow the mad decent.

"WELL?!" said the overly stressed women.

"Heh well... good news, we are not going to explode into a thousand sad little tiny pieces"

"Bad news?" she said almost fearful of the answer.

"How do you feel about a crash landing?"

Chapter 5: Run

These last few words from the tall figure sent a cold chill down Rocu's spine, he was terrified. Why would they want to do this?. After sitting in the water and thinking about it for awhile his fear turned to rage. A hint of gold flashed in his hazel eyes, something he failed to notice.

What did I do to them? They should have black eyes and broken bones for messing with me, and I'm going to do it, one day. If I manage to live that long. The glimmer of gold faded. He sighed and let his head dip into the water taking a drink of it, then he slowly stepped out waiting and listening to see if he could hear or smell them nearby. He was relieved to conclude that whoever they were that the were long gone.

"Well now is as good a time as any to try and find something to eat. Hopefully that's not growing on the side of a damn cave wall" he cautiously walked out of the cave, while taking in the freshly risen sun and with a wide grin on his face he took of on all fours in a dash. Smelling for those other two and seeing how the acted sparked up a memory of his natural abilities. As weak as he was from not having proper nourishment in the past few days, it had not crippled his speed to much. Feeling free he jumped towards a tree and spring hopped of it from tree to tree in order to gain height and greater speed.

He then landed on an old brown tall tree near the edge of the unknown forest he was in by a cascading river. The sound of the water impaired his hearing a bit and all he could smell was the fresh water and clean air. Looking up at the tree, he decided to test his climbing ability, and hell, also for the pure fun of it. Rocu dug his claws and toe nails into the old bark and started to climb. He went slow at first but then after realizing how easy it was for him, he climbed up the tree faster and faster until he looked like he was running up the ancient oak, cork screwing around it. When he reached the top he jumped up past the leaves, turning his body so that he could land on the almost platform like tree top.

He then laid upon it while smiling, impressed with himself. the wind had then hit him and something about it made him Sniff around madly, hungrily. Something had smelled good, fresh, and dead from the heavy amount of blood he picked up on. Whatever it was made his stomach rumble and his mouth water. So much so that he had only been momentarily distracted by the flickering light he saw of in the distance falling from the sky.

He almost wanted to check it out, but the smell of something possibly edible was too alluring to pass up. Finding the direction of the smell he then jumped towards that area, sliding through the tree branches. It wasn't until his last leap towards the intoxicating smell that he realized that this smell of blood from recently killed animal meant something or someone nearby had made that kill.

This realization startled him and it caused him to trip over branches and crash to the grassy surface. When he looked up he saw a badly wounded animal with white and blue stripes and black eyes. fear had been permanently etched into it's lifeless eyes. This horse like creature was had bled out through the gash marks on it's neck and stomach but he. Even still Rocu was happy to see it.

His stomach rumbled fiercely once again and the only thing he could think of was the food, that is until he recognized two familiar scents mixed in with the odor of animal blood. With his heart beat so loud from fear that he could hear it in his ears, Rocu slowly turned around behind him to see the two same people except now he could see that they were wearing what appeared to be cloth made out of a black and red animals skin with black fur around their shoulders. As they glared at him with murder in there eyes, Rocu frantically scrambled to his feet thinking damn it, how could I run into them, How could I be so stupid?!.

The Tall one then looks at his brother pleased and said sarcastically

"Hey Flin Roo, I think we might have found the brat. Not taking his cold focused eyes of the boy the shorter one simply said

"Yeah Con Roo… I think you're right for once, brother" Rocu, at first was confused because they began to shake and twist around. It had looked like they were in an excruciating amount of pain . His confusion soon turned into horror as he watched their bodies start to change and contort violently.

The grew taller and there brown hair started to grow around there cheeks. There faces stretched out to become snout like and there teeth and claws grew enormously long and if he had to guess sharper. it even began to sound like there bones were breaking and reforming simultaneously. There very skin had ripped and torn as they grew and then stretched out as it grew around there elongated claws. They then closed there brown eyes momentary.

When they slowly opened them. their eyes were now a shining red. Now visibly shaking from his fear Rocu tripped over his own feet, in an attempt to will himself to take of before they finished changing into whatever the hell it was that they were becoming. Unfortunately it was too late, there odd transformation had finished. The skinny one walked over to him with a twisted smile and slid his claw lightly across Rocu's cheeks like a razor blade drawing blood. The boy now in tears could hear the creature say in a booming demonic voice

"RUN"

7: Chapter 6: The Hunt
Chapter 6: The Hunt

The ship slowed down almost to a proper descending speed and once Leezaar was certain of this he switched the wingspan to eight spider like legs. As the ship got ever closer to the planet's surface the mechanical legs stretched out with a mechanical hiss towards the ground and catches itself in a run preventing itself from crashing outright.

As it tries to steady itself and start to slow down, Nizaraa opens the door near the control room and is shocked at what she see's. They are approaching an insanely large cliff area With a cascading waterfall.

"Lee! You need to stop the SP-DR Carrier right fuckin now, were goin to go over the cliff!"

"Shit!" is all he could say under his breath before forcibly initiating the breaks. Gonna have to say fuck the paint job right now. The mechanized limbs stopped moving altogether as the ship started to skid across the ground scaring it and throwing up dust in it's attempt to stop, inching towards the cliff.

Finally slowing itself down to a halt at the cliffs edge. The legs of the carrier clutched the cliff side while the body of the ship hung just over the edge of the fall. With a giant sigh of relief from the brother sister duo, they slowly sank back into their chairs as Leezaar uses the controls to guide the spider like ship up the side and away from the edge of the unnervingly high up cliff side.

"Well then. There was even less crash then I had anticipated" said the almost sarcastic Leezaar.

"Yeah good job on not killing us" Nizaraa said as she jumped out of the SP-DR, landing on the rocks weightlessly as she often did. Knowing the planet had a breathable atmosphere she, took in a deep breath of the planets fresh air wanting to get a real feel for how it felt around her. She could always tell what kind of world she was working with by the scent of it's air.

It was like the essence of the very planet itself. Leezaar had his own way of dealing with these things, as he used a little device from the ship to take air samples, not being the type to rely on gut feelings on if a planet has breathable air or toxic gas. He then jumped out next to her once he was sure it was safe and commented on her sarcasm.

"what are you talking about Niz?, we coulda survived that easy. Just not my custom built ship" He then looked up at sky and smiled like a curious child that just discovered a new toy. He began to question his sister.

"So you say that the planets rings had rocks with built in planetary defense anti spacecraft cannons? Fascinating, I would never have guessed that there tech would be that advanced"

She thought holy hell here we go"Lee"

"And they detected the ship even though I come up with countermeasures for ship detection, I'm going to need to take one of their satellites and take it apart, see how it picked us up on radar ooh it will be fun"

"Goddamit LEE!"

"And to think they could do so much damage to my Shields, perhaps I should stick to the Standard issue Order shield plating I created… no no, I want this prototype energy shield to work out, what's a haul breaching explosion or two next to scientific progress. Maybe-"

"Wall crawling freak boy!" this comment snapped him out of his little tangent and he looked at his sister who had her arms crossed and a single brow raised, waiting there while tapping her foot on rocks loudly nearly shattering it.

"Did it again?" he said slightly saddened that his sister broke him from one of his 'I must understand how it works' fits. Almost amused by her brothers antics she simply says

"Yep"

"So... on with the search and recovery mission?" Leezaar said almost jokingly.

"Yeah that would be great, wait... do you feel that? Nizaraa said as she looked around suddenly feeling something odd in the air that her spiritual sixth sense was picking up on.

"I... yeah, I do, is that a kid? It feels like a young Illuminated soul" Leezaar was a little bewildered by the fact that this soul could be felt from so far away and even worse was that it belonged to a child that was beginning to exhume feelings of blood lust mixed in with fear. He looked at his sister and said

"It's fluxing wildly, kids in trouble... it feels heavy"

"I know Lee, It's him. It has to be" with those words Nizaraa and Leezaar scowled, starring in the direction where the power was coming from, a nearby forest. There coal black eyes started to glow a hint of blue.

Wind swirled around Nizaraa and lifted her body of the ground and she took of flying into the forest with such an enormous concentration of wind that any tree in her way was blasted into pieces. Leezaar's veins started to visibly show through his face while pulsating and he sprinted unnaturally fast. He quickly caught up with his airborne sister. Smirking slightly he asked

"So what's the plan?" she turned her head slightly towards him and glanced at her brother returning the gesture of his smirk.

"We're going on a hunt"

8: Chapter 7: Alpha's Power
Chapter 7: Alpha's Power

With those words uttered by the now gigantic red eyed beast glaring at the fear stricken boy with jagged sharp teeth, Rocu took off running and jumped up into the trees. As he weaved in and out thinking of nothing but survival. He tried everything he could think of to avoid the two shifted wolf men. He hoped it would be enough to escape, but in truth he knew that they would probably be too fast for him. Yet it didn't stop him from trying. As he ran for his young life, the two beasts just stood there. One in amusement, the larger muscular wolf glared at his sadistic slender brother.

"Giving the brat a head start? That's cruel, allowing him to have false hope. We should just kill him now and head back before our own Pack leader gets too irritated with us and ends up getting blood thirsty." the taller wolf turned his cold red eyes towards his companion shaking his head.

"No... I'm going to enjoy this. I've always wanted to kill an Alpha."

"This Alpha is a child... children can't use their Alpha power until they come of age. So, where is the fun in that?"

"Don't care. To me, an Alpha is an Alpha. Now... here I come you little brat." the wolf man got down on all fours, flexing his arm and leg muscles, crushing the ground beneath him before taking off in a crazed run with the larger one following close behind. a look of deep disappointment plastered all over his face due to his fellow Beta's embarrassing blood lust for prey as easy as a child Alpha wolf.

After a minute or so of running through the forest in search of Rocu, they quickly spotted him. Con-Roo then jumped towards the tree Rocu sprung and swiped his massive claw at it. causing it to fall down forcing Rocu to ground level.

"YOU HAD BETTER RUN FASTER, YOU LITTLE BRAT! THE HUNT WILL BE BORING IF I CATCH MY PREY SO QUICKLY!" Rocu couldn't believe they were really doing this to him. He was just a kid, but he had no time to think about that. It would only distract him and hinder his running. He began to panic.

They were getting closer. He didn't have to look back. He could feel their thirst for blood, like a chill running down his spine as their steps grew louder and louder. He looked around for anything that could help him escape his pursuers. He looked forward and there it was. It was perfect.

"I'M GOING TO CATCH YOU WITH MY TEETH AND RIP OUT YOUR THROAT BOY!" True to his word, the crazed wolf was now right behind the boy with his head bent down and turned sideways and his jaws open and hovering around the boys thin frame. His massive jaw was so close to Rocu that he could smell his obnoxious breath.

His only thought was to time his trick just right. Right before the wolf clamped his mouth shut the boy jumped up and the wolf's jaw clamped shut onto a large boulder that the boy purposely led him towards. Rocu landed on top of the rock and as he jumped of The boulder and looked at the trapped fool, he had met his gaze and stuck his tongue out at him before taking off again.

Realizing that this small little wolf had just tricked him into sinking his fangs into a boulder it started to make the wolf man's blood boil with white hot anger. He shook violently as he tried to free his fangs from it's rocky prison.

Rocu looked forward and realized that he had nearly forgotten about the larger quiet one. Luckily this one was a bit slower. The wide wolf narrowed his red eyes and started to bare his yellowish fangs and took a swipe at the boy. With near flawless timing Rocu jumped on the assailants arm and used the boost in momentum from it to dash past him.

How did I know how to do that? his own sudden skill perplexed him, but he didn't dwell on it too much. He continued to focus on escaping. Rather than give chase to the boy out right the large wolf man helped his foolishly trapped brother, who at this point was so furious that his eyes were practically bloodshot. Flin Roo shattered the rock with his claws. Now amused, he tried to help up his enraged comrade, but his hand was swatted away. He growled fiercely saying

"YOU LITTLE BRAT! I'M GONNA FUCKIN KILL YOU!" His brother mused

"Perhaps he is worthy prey after all"

"SHUT YOUR OVERFED FUCKING MOUTH"

Now no longer thinking properly, the enraged brother ran towards the boy and caught up with him astonishingly fast. With his face now twisted into a nearly unrecognizable smile he slammed his claw down on the boy as hard as he could smashing the ground, but missing Rocu who, in anticipation zipped to the right. Somehow now madder than ever he constantly started taking swipes at him and ground pounded in an attempt to hit the him, but Rocu was able to dodge every attack. Now feeling cocky Rocu turned to face him while running backwards and had a giant smirk stretched across his face.

"What's the matter, rock jaw? Is that the best you've got?!" he'd quickly wished that he hadn't let that arrogance get the better of him, because almost as soon as he said it, he had slipped on the wet grassy ground for a split second, losing his balance. The wolf man took this as a chance to swipe at the boy with his massive claws, knocking Rocu towards the left and straight into a tree. The impact was so great that the tree cracked and the small child coughed up blood. Rocu wanted nothing more than to just pick himself up again and make another run for it. Unfortunately at this moment he couldn't tell up from down. His short lived unfamiliar confidence was replaced by a more familiar fear. Now walking towards the boy he smiled a twisted grin.

"Caught you, haven't I? No more of this running around, I'm done" his brother caught up with them and walked towards the enraged Con Roo.

"Finish it then. He's got nothing left. No need to torture the boy"

They walked towards him slowly. At this point, to Rocu it felt like it was taking them hours to approach him with every agonizing step. The fear of death really started to grip him now, he was starting to hyperventilate. His breathing turned more and more erratic with every step they took. The cruel wolf man was getting ready to end the child's life but first he wanted to stare into his petrified brown eyes before ending him.

Rocu was hunched down. his wild unkempt bangs obscured his eyes. He squatted down in order to meet the young boy's gaze. It was all he thought it would be. He could hear the panic in the boy's heart rate with his beta shifted ears, Rocu started to sweat profusely, the cruel wolf enjoyed every second of it, for he truthfully hated Alpha wolves, but he failed to notice that this child was starting to tap into something primal, having became a desperate cornered animal The fear was quickly becoming pure unrelenting rage that was written on the boys face. He raised his head enough for the giant wolf to see his hazel eyes changing into golden yellow ones.

"Wait what?! Golden eyes?!"

"Con Roo...his hair is turning pure white"

"Impossible" the boy slowly began to look up with a glint of murder in eyes and his teeth bare.

He didn't understand what was happening to him, but his fear and pain turned into contempt and rage it was like what he felt in the cave but stronger...he liked it. Slowly, he cracked his fingers by moving them demonically his logical mind was screaming run, but something at his core was compiling him to do otherwise.

"So you like to play with your prey? Well then... let's play" with a flash of speed his claw slashed at the stunned wolf man's face. Slicing out his left eye. And leaving four deep gashes on the entire left side of his face with blood gushing out. The shocked wolf known as Con Roo collapsed from the pain and clutched his face tightly, muffling his screaming.

"CON!" screamed the larger brother. The sound of his screams caused the boy to smirk evilly his bright golden eyes fixed themselves on the screaming pitiful wolf. Admiring his carnage he licks the blood of his clawed fingers while staring at him coldly. He kicked away his hands that were cradling his left eye and stepped on the wolfs destroyed face, causing him to scream louder. With a wicked grin the golden eyed boy mused demonically

"What's wrong? You were having so much fun a second ago. I like this game, don't you?" the boy said almost innocently "I wonder how many times I can carve into that face of yours before the melody of your screams is replaced by dead silence..." Con Roo couldn't understand it, this small child was now the one toying with him. The fear he felt embarrassed him endlessly, he then screamed out

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! GET HIM OF ME, KILL HIM! KILL THE BRAT! DO IT NOW FLIN ROO!" the large wolf man flinched at the mention of his name and looked at the boy ready to attack. He shifted his balance to prepare for a strike. His movement caused Rocu's gaze to shift eerily towards him. Rocu tried to egg him on with murder practically dripping from every word spoken.

"Yes... Con Roo take your chance now... I'm small and helpless and I miss my mommy."

these words caused a deathly chill to run down Flin's spine. This made him stop his movement all together, his pity for this boy that was his target had turned into caution and fear. He couldn't understand it. Even amongst the Alpha nobles and pack leaders, an Alpha shift was normally only possible once an Alpha had come of age, an Alpha triggering the shift as a child was almost unheard of. Only about 5% of the Alpha population has ever been able to do such a thing.

Yet here is this brat who had all the traits of an adult Alpha's Hunter shift. White hair, bright golden eyes, longer and sharper teeth and claws with longer ears and tail. It was far more subtle than a beta Shift, but one hundred times deadlier. Even as a child his strength would be equal to a full grown fully shifted beta.

Even still that wasn't the worst part of all. An Alpha shift also affected the mind. Intelligence, mental capacity, and aggression. It was also rumored that, For an Alpha child that could shift, it could also mean an increase in cruelty. It was for these reasons that Betas would never disobey their packs Alpha leader. They could never match an Alpha's power.

9: Chapter 8: Scorpian Stinger
Chapter 8: Scorpian Stinger

The tension in the air was thick with blood lust and panic. The enraged Alpha child was itching for an excuse to slit the throat of the wolf beneath him. Although the eldest Beta brother was more concerned with their survival, it caused an aggravated Con Roo to yell at his hesitant brother.

"What are you waiting for? help me, kill him, he's just a wolf brat!"

"Said the foolish wolf, whose half blinded eye was completely slashed out by said brat."Flin snickered.

After watching the two wolves argue back and forth, the white haired Rocu realized that the larger wolf was not going to engage him. This angered him further, causing him to dash forward. He wasn't going to let Flin and his mutilated brother dictate the terms of his fate any further.

"Fine, then I'll bring the fun to you!" the large wolf jumped back to keep the distance between them, blocking the enraged child away from his bleeding brother. Rocu, in his shifted form, was a bit faster than the beta. He closed the gap between them, in range for a strike.

"I don't know why you run from me, maybe you're just that scared of me." Realizing his plan, Rocu's golden eyes grew larger. "Or maybe you are..." In an instance, the boy's white hair turned brown and his eyes hazel once again. His teeth and claws shrank back to normal taking the rage with them. Bewildered and confused in mid jump, he fell to the ground looking up at the smiling beta wolf, who opened his mouth and uttered one word

"...stalling." he walked towards the boy. Rocu backed up slowly, almost too confused to be afraid. He wondered what had happened to him and why it made him so... He didn't even know how to put it into words what he felt like in that form. Was that anger? No, it was more than that.

"It was a gamble but, I figured a child Alpha who could shift, would not be able to hold the form for very long. Your body can't handle it. I just had to wait you out. My dumb shit brother should have backed away from you when you started to change." Con Roo reached his claw out towards the boy slowly and carefully. Rocu sat there frozen with fear again. He tried to force himself to move but his body wouldn't obey.

"I...I don't wanna die!" Tears started to stream down his face. This made the wolf flinch with sudden guilt.

"Little wolf pup, I don't really want to do this but, I have my orders. If you don't die then I will." With that, the wolf's hand clamped around Rocu's neck and started to squeeze hard. it was a pressure he had never felt before. The pain was unbearable. Blood started to drip down his mouth as the sound of his neck cracking rang hauntingly within his ears.

"Shame for you boy, some of your Alpha power is still present. Had you been back to normal fully, your neck would have snapped instantly under my grip. I had hoped your death would be quick and painless. Rocu then dug his claws into the beta's hand weakly trying to pry open his grip.

"Don't struggle... It will only make your death take longer" the pain was Immense, that combined with the fact that he couldn't breath started to make Rocu's vision blurry. Whatever bit of strength he had left was fading fast. His grip on Con Roo's claw started to loosen until his hands slipped down, hanging lifelessly.

"That's right give yourself over to death, let the gods take you home" He could feel the boys pulse weakening and he knew that it would be over soon. Suddenly with shock he watched as a large blurry form shot right past him but he paid it no mind until it hit a tree and he recognized it's scream, belonging to known other than his brother.

He turned towards the direction his brother was thrown, hoping that his red eyes had deceived him. What he saw only confused him more, he was pinned to the tree and held in place by a woman he'd never seen before. Con Roo was in his hulking fully shifted beta wolf form, but was some how being held in place by this scrawny new comer.

Her hand clenched around his throat. She couldn't have been any taller than 4'9 he couldn't get a good look at her face but he knew she could not have been an alpha. Hell she couldn't have been a wolf at all. Wolves had brown hair.

True enough some had darker hair than others but her hair was as black as the nights sky. He then thought that perhaps she was a Tigarian, for their race often had black hair, but he quickly dismissed that thought for her ears were not long and not on top of her head like actual Tigarians.

The only thing left to conclude was that she was a strange of worlder. What the hell is she doing here? no of worlder was allowed on this planet, she shouldn't have even made it here alive. She turned, looking in his direction and glared at him with malice in her eyes.

Let the boy go… it would be wise of you Con Roo just stared at her blankly.

What did she say? that was all he could think. he'd had never heard such a strange language before.

What? you got shit in your ears?! let him go or ugly over here gets his throat crushed

You know Niz, he can't understand you or me. you might want to try something more direct

What me choking his hairy friend isn't enough? Con Roo quickly turned towards the second voice only to find a pale hand right in his face. He tried to jump back but Leezaar was too fast, he gripped Con Roo's snout and pushed his head into the dirt with enough force to leave a hole in the ground. The pain was enough to make him release his grip on the boy.

Con Roo managed to free his face from the off worlders grip and quickly tried to bite Leezaar's arm of. He'd regretted that decision at that very moment for biting his arm was like biting solid stone. Leezaar flinched, not expecting the Wolf man to bite him. He was more amused than anything else. Leezaar stared at him and with a smirk he sarcastically said "Ouch" He then snatched his arm out of the Beta's mouth taking several of his fangs with him.

"GUH!" What the hell. Who are these freaks? A skinny as all hell women is keeping my brother at bay with one hand, and biting this ones arm did more damage to me than it did him, what the fuck?!

"Is that all that you are? disappointing. physically you're… mildly impressive, but it would appear that you don't even know how to fight wielding your soul as power, shame well now, maybe it's time to put the dog down" the now enraged Con Roo used his hand to crack his jaw back into place and his teeth had grown back into place along with some new ones.

"Who the hell are you calling a dog you filthy of worlder!?"

"Oh good you can hear me now and did your teeth just grow back? that's fascinating, your race seems to have an above average healing factor. studding your kind might be fun after all"

"I can understand you… what did you do?" Leezaar now looked slightly annoyed at his question, in response he stretched out his arm that had just been bitten and opened his hand. seemingly coming from underneath the skin in the palm of his hand, a small microchip appeared.

"All you need to know is that I temporarily gave you the ability to understand us"

"Why, you must have a reason for being here. What do you want?"

"Hmph quick aren't we" he was suddenly interrupted by his now impatient sister"

"HEY! BUGBOY! ya think you can speed the dialogue along?! this one keeps thrashing and his claws are getting stuck in my Hair! do you know how long it's going to take to get the tangles this asshole is creating out?! plus hey, you know that boy, the one we were sent here to save? with the neck wound?!... pretty sure he's starting to bleed out"

"NO THE ALPHA IS MINE" Con Roo screamed in his captures ear right before She pushed him further into tree to silence him The angered women yelled back.

"Shut up will ya" Right in my ear

Almost forgetting the boy, Leezaar looked over in his direction to see what condition he was in. Rocu sat there on the ground wheezing trying desperately to breath while he was bleeding from his mouth and chest . Fuck he's in critical condition, how could I be so stupid.

"That boy… that's why you're here?" Leezaar, now angered that he let his scientific curiosity possibly put the boys life in further danger shot a dirty look at Con Roo and his coal grey eyes glowed a hint of blue as he looked at the wolf.

"Yes, that's all we want but, if you get in our way… I will kill you" please don't call the bluff.

In truth, they couldn't kill them. If they had it would spark further conflict for the Order, not to mention they would risk forever losing whatever military support they hoped to one day receive from this planet.

Con Roo started to think dammit, they could do it to. These of worlders were strong… wait...they could have. At anytime if they wanted to… so why didn't they? Unless

"You're bluffing"

damnit

"You could have killed us whenever you wanted to. Unlike my pinned brother over there I'm not an idiot, I don't know why, but for some reason it would seem like you're forcing your selves not to… It might even be orders. I-

I've had enough of this. Nizaraa, having fully lost her patience starts to twitch unnaturally, her body starting to shiver. Suddenly from beneath her tail bone a large black tail sprang out covered in slime with a large stinger at the end of it. She punctured the flailing wolfs neck with it causing him to scream.

"CON!"

"NIZARAA!"

"We will take the boy, and you will give us your word that you will not pursue and force us to kill you … fuck it, I might just kill loud mouth over here anyway anyway. That's right, I fill him with so much poison that his body will decay right before your very eyes wolf man. There will be nothing left"

"Wait… what is that?!" said the wolf frantically in an attempt to stall and think of a plan. With a smirk the overpowering women gloated

"Oh, did I not mention this? Forgive me. This tail is my Scorpion Stinger."
