The Amazing Lui Something

s

"Any last words?"

"Why me?" Was the only thing the young teen could ask as the lady gestured him to step into the dome shaped room.

"It has been recorded."

The doors closed with a loud slamming sound and from then on he knew he was no longer anywhere near his comfort zone -Which is actually everywhere. The room had white walls. Nothing else. And he felt like a lab rat stuck in a cardboard box.

'I guess that's why Mousey died before I was able to show him in Show and Tell at preschool…' He thought, smirking at his idiocy as a child.

He. Lui Something the class clown had to admit that he would rather do homework –a task he has always tried to avoid rather than isolated in this bare white room for God knows how long. He ran his fingers through his honey colored hair and sighed.

"LUI SOMETHING" Came a robotic voice. The boy screeched in surprised and put his hands up in the air. "What?"

"ARE YOU READY?"

"For what?" The boy asked back. His heart thudded and he felt nostalgia creeping up to him, his fear was that he was supposed to fight some elite army or something like that movie he once watched with his ex-girlfriend. And to think that she would stick to her words of, "I'll protect you no matter what."

Rubbish.

Lui felt something moving below his shoes and he stepped back slightly. The tile of the floor in the center of the room was replaced with a desk and a chair without his notice. He looked around the room to try and find any more differences but saw none.

He slowly made his way to the table, while suspiciously analyzing the room, his eyes narrowed when he saw a piece of paper, a pencil, an eraser and a ruler set out on the wooden desk. He gasped in horror when he saw another piece of paper with algebra problems written on it.

"THE FU-?"

---

"So his name is…. Lui 'Something'?" The black haired man asked as he watched the young teen rip the algebra paper and thrash around while cursing through the spy camera.

The lady who had escorted the boy nodded, "He's an orphan. The headmaster told me that when he was adopted at three and asked his full name, he jokingly said Lui something, something." She said through her cool facade.

The suited man fixed his tie and watched in amusement as the teen lifted his middle finger at the wrong direction.

"Sir?" He heard the woman call. He turned around to face her and lifted his eyebrows.

"Why him?"

The suited man laughed and turned his attention back at the spy camera. The man who was known as Mr. Monopoly for his looks was certainly not a nice man at heart. He scratched his white moustache and smiled.

Mr. Monopoly wanted to see himself as a successful man who didn't need to think of anything anymore. But since the fourth world war has broken and his country was no longer a safe place to be, he needed a lot more protection. And a lot more protection meant a lot more thinking.

He was planning to make an elite division to counter attack the people who had destroyed his company and to protect him and the company from the raging war that had started a few months ago. He needed someone with the skill and the potential. Someone with power and charisma.

Not this buffoon who would hardly do anything that was told, skipped classes, and picked his nose in a biology test.

"Just because." He said with a sly smile on his round and wrinkled face.

"Mr. Shimizu, there are hundreds of options; I doubt that this child would qualify to guard you." The woman commented. She narrowed her eyes at the boy on the screen who had gotten tired of destroying the algebra problems and smashing the chair.

"You doubt me Akihisa?" The man glared at his subordinate.

"No, sir…" Akihisa bowed in apology, "Forgive me…"

Akihisa stood up straight and left, giving a slight glance at the screen with the blond boy in it. 'Mr. Shimizu is a very unpredictable man…' She thought.
