Chapter 1

~~Magenta nearly bullied here everyday. The bus rides would last almost forever of being used as a comfier cushion than a rusty old bus seat. The pulling of her dark brown hair from the dark auburn haired girl. The squashing against the windows and extreme discomfort of bullying. Whether physical or emotional. Magenta would pummel Cherry for several hours on end. Cherry was her personal punching bag whether if she wanted to or not. No one would even punish Magenta.

After the bus ride, Cherry would endure trouble at the breakfast table. Magenta would shove her down before she would get a chance for her favorite dessert with the cereal packs and milk cartons. Magenta would eat Cherry's bacon right off her tray. No one told Magenta off for it. They were all just plain afraid of her. Not even a teacher would give Cherry the mercy she would beg for, beg for days on end.

Cherry wasn't even safe in her classes. Magenta somehow had the same classes as the glasses wearing, weak, younger girl. Magenta often tripped Cherry as she was on her way back to her desk, Magenta often sat on top of her when taking notes and lessons. All Cherry asks is why is Magenta doing this to her? Just why is she being punished by such a rogue girl? What had she done to deserve this shabby treatment?

2: Chapter 2
Chapter 2

~~Cherry tossed and turned in her bed, then her alarm went off. Cherry groaned under her pillow. Ever since two years ago in school and Magenta came into Cherry's life, she had developed a hatred for school. It wasn't school in general, but being face to face with Magenta for years, it's been upsetting. Cherry struggled as Magenta sat on top of her and savaged inside the contents of her backpack.

"Let's see..." Magenta said in her distinct, loud voice as loud as a knife as she pulled out personal items. "MP3 player, headphones, lunch box... OOH! A smiley faced cookie!"

"Put that down!" Cherry cried. "That's my last one all the way from Pennsylvania!"

"What a shame..." Magenta pouted. "I should save you a crumb or two... Nah!" Magenta devoured the cookie whole and laughed sinisterly.

"You are a horrible person!" Cherry sneered. "I hope you rot and burn where you belong when you die, you red-headed witch!"

"I don't burn, I simmer." Magenta chuckled.

The bus then stopped and everyone got off. Magenta got off from on Cherry and grabbed her own backpack, swinging it behind her body.

"Well come along, the principal doesn't like to be kept waiting," Magenta walked down the aisle, then turned to see Cherry mumbling and struggling. "SHIFT IT!"

"I'm coming!" Cherry called back. As she got to the area, Magenta let out her foot and forced Cherry to trip over and land against the hard pavement of the school sidewalk.

"You're such a butt monkey," Magenta cackled and walked off. "Thanks for the cookie by the way..."

Cherry whimpered and got back on her feet. She brushed herself clean and walked down the sidewalk with a slight limp in her walking thanks to Magenta.

The rest of the day wasn't much better. It was raining outside by lunch and every student fears that weather whenever they have gym for a class. The thunder crashed and the lightning flashed. Cherry just sat with her lunchbox, praying the rain would blow over and Cherry wouldn't have to be forced into gym class to play dodgeball with Magenta. She though thanked her lucky stars she had her gym sneakers, she had a bad habit of forgetting them during her earlier years of school.

"The rain's coming, what if we get killed in gym?" a blonde girl cried.

"It's just sprinkle clouds, I'm sure!" Cherry cringed.

Just then a horrendous clap of thunder filled the air, making all of the students duck under their tables and grip onto the legs. While there, Magenta came with her little group of fellow bullies. On her left was an Asian exchange student named Kiara and on her right was an older girl named Courtney. They approached the students as Magenta held a red sucker in her hand.

"You babies ready for gym next period?" Magenta smirked, ready to take on everyone.

Everyone cried, moaned and prayed to Heaven above. Magenta chuckled then made her way over to Cherry, squatting down and holding her knees.

"Hi..." Magenta breathed into Cherry's face, making her glasses fog up.

"S-S-Stay back!" Cherry cried.

"Ooh, I'm gonna hit that ball against your face so hard it'll be a NEW shade of red." Magenta taunted and put her sucker in her mouth. She then gently pinched Cherry's cheek. "Stay sweet, butt monkey." Magenta cackled and walked off to get ready.

"I gotta get out of here..." Cherry murmured as the bell rang for next period.

3: Chapter 3
Chapter 3

~~Cherry quickly went to the nurse's office, avoiding the gym at all costs. She sat on the waiting bench and the nurse was at her computer with her fingers click clacking against the keyboard.

"Yes, how may I be of service to you?" the nurse turned to Cherry.

"Umm... I don't think I can do gym today..." Cherry did her best sick voice and held herself, faking shivers all around her body. "I don't feel well..."

"What is it? Cold? Flu? Allergies?" the nurse opened her mouth and placed a tongue depresser in her mouth.

"Um... I think I have the disease where I can't go to school at any cost..." Cherry replied, numbly.

"I see..." the nurse looked suspicious. She then put in her earplugs and pressed the cold stethoscope against Cherry's chest. "Your heart rate is normal..."

"Umm... I think I need to throw up..." Cherry shrugged her shoulders.

"Is this a ploy to get out of gym class?" the nurse raised an eyebrow as she took notes.

"What! No! What makes you say that?"

"Because you're not the only student to come for me to get out of gym class." the nurse glared at her. "Now, get going."

"Rats!" Cherry scoffed, then walked out of the office. She then went to her teachers and asked the same question to them. "Don't you have a test for me I can't miss, and have to avoid gym for a while?"

They all answered the same way. "No."

Cherry then called her parents at home and asked if she could do anything for them that would pull her out of school, but they wouldn't allow her to. It felt like whenever Cherry was trying to avoid any trouble in school, everyone would be against her. It was then up to fate. Cherry was stuck staying inside for gym while it was heavily pouring down rain outside and everyone struggled to go inside, wearing their gym uniforms, tying their sneakers, and tying their long hair back. Magenta passed Cherry as she came out of the locker room.

"You're dead..." Magenta poked Cherry's nose with a sharply, manicured finger. "It was nice having you, if you're still alive, get ready for an early grave before graduation, punk..." Magenta laughed and walked off with her posse.

Cherry wished there could be a way out of this mess, but nothing could save her. She was trapped with Magenta in dodge ball. It was as dangerous as having meat in her pockets around Cerberus the Hell Hound, or going against a vampire without a bundle of garlic, this was indeed a true, threatening, school student suicide. Cherry could see herself now, her grave, her last will and testament, her worst nightmare come true. Magenta was on her way to the gym floor, but due to the faulty water fountain, she stopped onto the dripping water, skid across the gym floor and crashed against the bleachers in dire pain and agony.

"MAGENTA!" Cherry cried and ran after her.

"Go away, stupid butt monkey, I don't need your help!" Magenta growled, but was weak as she had twisted her ankle.

The gym teacher blew her whistle as she headed for the girls. "What seems to be the problem, here?" she demanded.

"That stupid water made me hurt myself!" Magenta huffed.

"Someone will have to take you to the nurse."

Cherry felt forced, she didn't want to help her worst nemesis, but still, she was too nice to just abandon someone in pain. "I'll go!" Cherry gulped.

Everyone glared at her, wondering if she had lost her marbles.

"Very well," the gym teacher wrote out a note and handed it to Cherry. "Report to the school nurse."

"Yes ma'am." Cherry replied and hoisted Magenta up. "Come on, Magenta."

Magenta growled at Cherry all the way to the nurse's office.

Chapter 4

~~Cherry held Magenta's hand as they sat in the nurse's office together. Cherry had struggles though, Magenta kept trying to hit her, kick her, or even bite her. Magenta succeeded at times, but she was still too weak and vulnerable to kick Cherry in the face, side, or butt.

"Magenta, stop that!" Cherry demanded.

"Shut up, you stupid freak!" Magenta hissed.

"I am so sick of you picking on me!"

"Tough!"

"Why do it?"

"Because!"

"Because why?"

"Because I said so, butt monkey!"

"That's not an answer." Cherry growled.

"Don't you growl at me, you tiny fool!" Magenta tried to sit on Cherry to squish her.

"Not until you give me a straight answer! Now tell me, why do you bully me all the time? You scare everyone else, but all you do is hurt ME! WHY! WHY!?"

"BECAUSE I LIKE YOU, OKAY!?" Magenta spat out, then cupped her mouth as her face flushed nearly red as her hair.

"What...?" Cherry asked, anxiously.

"I... I had to think of you in a different way..." Magenta admitted, uneasily.

"Excuse me?"

"I... I love you, okay?" Magenta gulped hard. "Ever since I first met you... I had a crush on you..."

"All of that hate out of a girl crush?" Cherry asked.

"No, you don't understand," Magenta said. "I... I have a serious crush on you... I'm a lesbian..."

"I thought that was a rumor?"

Magenta shook her head. "I'm in love with you Cherry, my reputation as the scariest girl in school would be shot if people knew I had a crush on you. So, I beat you up to let my emotions out... I always felt bad for punching you in the stomach whenever you begged and pleaded for me to stop or not hit you in the face..."

"Wow Magenta..." Cherry couldn't believe her ears.

"If you tell anyone about this though, I WILL punch your lights out!" Magenta bared her fist.

"Understood!" Cherry said quickly.

The nurse came in and rolled her eyes as she spotted Cherry. "What is it now, Ms. Dunbar?"

"Actually miss, I'm here with Magenta," Cherry replied. "We were about to play dodge ball, but she fell and broke her ankle."

"Oh my!" the nurse gasped. "Can you walk any?"

Magenta shook her head.

"Here, I can help." Cherry linked arms with Magenta while the nurse took her other arm.

"Come here, honey," the nurse let Magenta in and set her on the patient bench. The nurse typed up a note for both Cherry and Magenta and turned back to Magenta. "You're not light-headed, dizzy or nauseous, are you?"

"No, but my ankle's killing me." Magenta replied.

"I'll get you some ice to bring down the swelling, hopefully it'll get better soon." the nurse walked out of the room to her little office to get a plastic bag filled with ice.

"Thanks for bringing me here, Cherry." Magenta turned to Cherry with a smile.

"This kind of reminds me of the time we were locked in the school bathroom overnight..." Cherry smiled and dapped her knuckles together nervously.

"You're so cute when you're afraid," Magenta chuckled. "I am sorry I slapped you when you screamed after the light shut down."

"No, you were right, I was over reacting."

"Cherry...?" Magenta hoisted herself closer to Cherry and took her hand. "Do you like me...? Like, at all...? I know you dated my cousin for a while... but... Do you feel anything besides fear in your heart when I'm around?"

"A-A-Actually," Cherry said hoarsely. "I had a crush on you for a while too..."

"Really?" Magenta's eyes lit up and she bit her lip. "How long?"

"Ever since we first met and you pulled my underwear over my head..." Cherry gulped.

"But I beat the crap out of you every single, solitary day..."

"Magenta, I get hurt every day, not just by you, but by almost anything or anyone else," Cherry told her. "I'm used to kind of being a pain magnet. So, I liked you beating me up in secret, no matter how many times I begged you to stop. I liked you beating me up like a chew toy, because it was the only way I knew I could earn your respect for me... Relying on me to be your Butt Monkey."

Magenta hummed and smiled as she looked deep into Cherry's puppy like eyes. The nurse came back in and Magenta shoved Cherry down to show she was still as aggressive as ever.

"Here's some ice," the nurse put the bag down on Magenta's ankle. "This should help."

"That's cold." Magenta's teeth chattered.

"Why don't you wait here a while before you go back to gym?" the nurse offered.

"Can I stay here with her?" Cherry asked suddenly, dusting herself clean from the floor.

The nurse's eyes widened. "If... You'd like to..."

"Thank you."

"Okay... I'm gonna call someone's mother now, there was a puke puddle in the cafeteria this morning after first period." the nurse walked off, leaving the girls alone. As she closed the door, Magenta's hand was in Cherry's hand, gripping tightly and swaying back and forth together like a perfect couple.

Chapter 5

~~"You didn't have to stay with me." Magenta said once she was alone with Cherry.

"I know," Cherry told her. "I wanted to."

"You're so sweet..." Magenta rubbed noses with her. "No wonder I'm nuts about you..."

Just then the door slammed open and Magenta scooted herself closer to away from Cherry. There was a man with dark hair, a pale face, a black jacket, white shirt, blue jeans and gray boots. He had stubble on his face and his eyes looked red with rage and anger as he snorted.'

"There you are, you little slut!" the man barked.

"What?" Cherry felt hurt.

"Daddy, leave her alone!" Magenta moaned.

"I told you to call me Richard in public, you little red-headed bitch!" the man growled. He walked over and glared at Cherry, forcing her to face the other way. "Why are you here?" the man demanded.

"I broke my ankle..." Magenta glanced down at her sprain.

"You better pray to God it gets better by the time you get home," Richard growled. "You got dishes to wash, a floor to sweep and trash to take out!"

"Yes Richard..." Magenta bowed her head, replying quietly.

"Good... Don't make me come here again unless you're dying!" Richard walekd out, slamming the door.

"That your Dad?" Cherry asked, anxiously.

Magenta nodded with tears in her eyes. "He's an alcoholic, he'd been that way since my mother died..."

"I'm so sorry, Magenta..." Cherry put a hand on Magenta's.

"Shut up!" Magenta snapped as she had tears in her eyes and held herself, staring at the floor. "No one asked you, Cherry Dumbar..."

6: Chapter 6
Chapter 6

~~The bell rang and Cherry decided she'd get to her next class while Magenta sat in the nurse's office. After Cherry was sitting in the library for study hall, she couldn't help but think about Magenta obsessively. They had shared a powerful, passionate secret with each other. Both were afraid and uncomfortable to say anything about it before. It was very indeed strange for both girls to encounter such a predicament.

It was then math class, Cherry still thought about Magenta. It used to be out of sheer fear and whimsy, but she had grown accustomed to the fiery redhead who often used her as a human punching bag. What is this feeling Cherry had been encountering. Could she really had liked Magenta back? Cherry wondered why she hadn't seen the red-headed tyrant around school after the trip to the nurse's office. Cherry decided to visit the school nurse, she knocked on the door.

"Yes?" the nurse looked down to see Cherry. "What is it, Ms. Dunbar?"

"Umm... I just wanted to know if Magenta's okay."

"She's fine," the nurse said. "I sent her home early, her ankle had gotten swollen."

"Oh, dear."

"Never thought I'd take you one to care for Magenta's well-being." the nurse noticed Cherry's sudden behavior toward the menace.

"What! No! I-" Cherry's face flushed a deep bright pink. "We're enemies! Rivals! I have no use for that red-headed devil girl!"

"Uh-huh," the nurse shrugged. "Well, she's at home now, you'll probably see her again tomorrow. Now, get run along now."

"Yes ma'am." Cherry left and went to her last period Social Studies, worrying about Magenta after meeting her father.

Meanwhile, Magenta was thinking of Cherry the same way it was vice versa. She thought back to the days she was only three years old and her mother died. Richard had told her that she committed suicide, but due to several abusive noises Magenta would hear growing up before hand, she knew that her mother had been beaten to death. No one was there to protect her. The only company Magenta would have were her dolls and no one would even befriend her.

She was just alone with an ass hole for a father who only acknowledges her existence as a servant female and not a daughter, or a decent human being. Richard even blamed his wife's death on Magenta. The red-headed girl was new in town and no one wanted anything to do with her, and after being bullied herself from her father and a bunch of rowdy boys, Magenta decided maybe that needed to change and became the fearsome girl she is known as she is today, even if she can't beat up her own father and takes her anger out on whoever she felt like, mainly Cherry once she met the four eyed butt monkey.

"MAGENTA! GET YOUR ARSE DOWN HERE!" Richard's voice rang throughout the house, pulling Magenta from her thoughts.

Magenta mumbled, then hobbled down the stairs with a slight limp. "Yes, Richard?" she bowed like a forced servant.

"Make me dinner."

"But Richard, it's only 5:30 and I should rest my ankle."

Richard slapped his daughter across her face. "Dammit, didn't I ever tell you to not talk back to me?"

Magenta admitted the slap stung her, but she did best to fight back any tears.

"Now, make some dinner." Richard demanded.

Magenta nodded and hobbled herself to the kitchen to make some dinner for herself and her father. She tied on the apron she inherited from her mother and clicked on the oven light. She would rather be in school taking her anger she had on her father on some snooping kid, but she was trapped. She just wished someone could take her away from the discomforts of home all together and run away to a magical paradise where she would be happy forever. But that seemed impossible.

The red-headed girl made a breakfast dinner with sunny side up eggs, bacon, and biscuits. Richard had something else in mind, but Magenta thanked her stars her father went through with it and ate what was placed in front of him.

"Richard, may I go now?" Magenta asked, gripping onto the other chair at the table.

"Huh? Yeah, whatever." Richard replied, eating his dinner.

Magenta felt relieved and hobbled upstairs with her dinner, closing her bedroom door and locking it. She set her plate down and went to her desk, opening her laptop and wondering what to do. She then saw Cherry had a Facebook and was online now. Magenta glanced at the screen and wondered if she should message someone she had once wanted to make her life long enemy.

7: Chapter 7
Chapter 7

~~Magenta has logged in

Magenta: Hi

Cherry: ...Hi? Can I help you?

Magenta: I can't help what happened in the nurses office go

Cherry: Magenta?

Magenta: Plz... Just hear me out... I really do like you, Cherry... Even though you fear me a little, I really, REALLY like you

Cherry: This so sudden

Magenta: I love you though, i'm not asking you if you feel the same way, i'm just telling you how i feel and you make me feel warm and fuzzy inside

Cherry is typing...

I probably scared her! Why did I have to admit I have a crush on her? That's disgusting! Now she's even more afraid of me! Magenta's brain was arguing with her emotions, thoughts and feelings toward Cherry. The red-headed girl grew horrified that Cherry took a while to answer. Cherry was probably logging off by now. Magenta felt relieved though once she finally got a reply after what felt like an eternity on the internet.

Cherry: Well, this is interesting to find out about you, but I'm not sure if I feel the same way just saying. I never had a real boyfriend, and I'm very curious, so I never tasted a real kiss before.

Magenta waited before replying so Cherry wouldn't freak out.

Magenta: You mean, no one's ever kissed you before?

Cherry: No :( a lot of people shouldn't waste their time with someone homely like me

Magenta: Cherry, you are a very beautiful girl... Anyone would be lucky to have you

Cherry was flattered.

Cherry: Well, thank you, Magenta... I feel strange inside now

Magenta: Strange, how?

Cherry: My insides are all tingly...

Magenta: ...Where exactly?

Cherry: Deep South if you catch my drift

Magenta: Aww, you're so cute when you're new to lust...

Cherry and Magenta talked for most of the evening. Sure, it was via internet, but they both had their bedroom doors closed and the lights out, so their parents thought they had been sleeping after all this time. Both girls decided they should get some sleep before they get into trouble with their parents. They both said goodbye, logged off and entered the vortex that is the world of their dreams. Magenta, of course, dreamt about Cherry and a life they could share together when they grew up.

Something about Cherry's insecurity, glasses, and overall bad luck made Magenta tick for some reason. Sure, when she's being a cold-hearted bully toward Cherry, Magenta still finds this very amusing. Possibly because she's partly responsible for the bad luck that befalls on her precious human punching bag. Magenta even gets very violent, even more so, on someone who tries to beat Cherry up. One time a new girl named Roxanne tried to beat Cherry up, but Magenta was very furious that someone else was harming Cherry. Magenta gripped onto Cherry and made sure no one else would beat up Cherry from then on.

Magenta never said she liked Cherry then, just to show that Cherry was her property. Magenta would show kindness toward Cherry after someone else would give her a hard time, but unfortunately for Magenta, her sudden generosity frightened Cherry. Magenta felt bad, but she couldn't blame the Butt Monkey for feeling that way. Magenta woke up from her fantasies thinking of her history with Cherry and wasn't sure how she could make up to her. Magenta then spent the last two hours in bed wondering what she could do for Cherry.

Cherry was accepting of Magenta's romantic feelings for her. Cherry was very sexually curious, she's been attracted to both men and women, but she was never really sure. Mostly because she was young and never kissed a soul. She had to be one of the most confused people she could even think of. Cherry didn't want Magenta to revert to her old ways quickly, so she had to think of something to make them both happy, but what could she do?

The glasses wearing girl thought very hard of what Magenta liked: Lavender bubble bath, dark chocolate with raspberry filling, taking her anger out, and voo doo dolls of her enemies. Cherry tried to think of what she could do for the upcoming holidays as a present for Magenta. Cherry quickly rolled over in her bed, took out a jewelry box from underneath her bed and took out about fifty dollars. She had enough money to get Magenta something nice in time for Christmas, but what to choose? It was very late, so Cherry put her money on her dresser for the next morning to ask her mother if they could go shopping when she gets back from school.

8: Chapter 8
Chapter 8

The alarm clocks rang all across town of the children who owned them to get up for another day of school. Cherry quickly gathered her money and remembered her plans she made up last night and quickly went to her mother.

"Mom?"

"Hm?"

"Could we do a little quick shopping after school? I want to give a present for a friend."

"Really?"

Cherry showed her fifty dollars.

Naomi smiled at her daughter's interest in shopping with the holidays coming up and the need to buy a present for a friend. She didn't ask which friend, but Naomi noticed her youngest child had a bright pink blush in her face. She must've been embarrassed or love stricken. Protesting against embarrassing her daughter, Naomi agreed to take Cherry for shopping after school.

"Okay Cherry, I'll take you shopping, I'll be in the school parking lot to pick you up and take you to the shops."

"Thanks Mom!" Cherry quickly hugged her mother and dashed to get dressed, brush her teeth, wash her face and get a quick breakfast.

Suddenly, as Cherry was ready for school, the yellow school bus came to take her. Cherry happily rushed on, which surprised the other students since Cherry dreaded school ever since Magenta had transferred to their school. The bus then took off once Cherry was seated and everyone was on their way for a day of education, social situations, and other peer related events. Cherry waited for the bus to pick up Magenta, but the red-headed girl was nowhere to be found once the other stops went to the students after Magenta's bus stop.

"Bus driver?" Cherry drawled. "Why aren't we picking up Magenta?"

"Her father called me and said he was driving her to school today." the driver replied in the loudest voice he could muster over the buzzing of other students and the blasting radio.

"Oh." Cherry slumped back in her seat, then thought to herself. Probably for the best. If Magenta saw my money, it might spoil the surprise I have after school planned!

"No!" Richard replied to his daughter's question of buying something after school for the holidays to give to a friend of hers.

"Please, Dad-Richard! It's very important!" Magenta begged. "If I don't give my friend something, she'll think I'm a horrible person!"

Richard slammed on the brakes and glared at his daughter in the back seat. He never let her sit up front, even when she was old enough to. "Friend? HA!" Richard scoffed. "You don't have any friends! If you have any, they're probably made up! Why would I waste my money for you to give to someone who doesn't exist?"

"I have friends..." Magenta's voice was shaking from his stinging remarks.

"Yeah, right," Richard laughed and continued to drive. "Imaginary friends were cute when you were a kid, now it's just babyish, worthless and pathetic! Just like you!"

"Richard, please..." Magenta was nearly breaking down to tears. "Let me buy my friend a present..."

"I need some proof you have a friend, young lady and don't you dare lie to me! Understand?"

"Yes, sir..."

"Good, now keep it down, I have to drive."

Magenta held her dotted arms from winter goosebumps as she stared at the floor of the car. The jacket she had was nice, but needed some improvement. She was stuck wearing her older brother's handed down jacket since he left for college and never came back after that. Not for holidays, not for birthdays, never. Magenta never saw her brother again after he went to college, then their mother died. Sometimes Magenta envied her now dead mother and long-lost brother since she was now her father's punching bag. Most of the time when Magenta would find herself beating up Cherry, it was to relief stress induced upon her from her overbearing father. She mostly felt guilty for being the bruiser to the girl she secretly loved.

Richard's car drove over the bumps and Magenta laid her leg that had the twisted ankle with it across her other leg. Magenta put some pressure on it to see if it was as bad as yesterday. She winced a little from the pressure, but it wasn't as bad as yesterday. She could walk okay in the morning on her way to school, but she had a slight limp. The car finally stopped.

"Get out." Richard demanded.

"Okay..." Magenta grabbed her backpack, closed the door and Richard's car zipped down the road so he could get back home, away from the daughter he never wanted. Magenta grumbled to herself, walked in the school with her usual greeting from the other students. Often screaming and running away for their dear lives. Though Magenta mainly bullied Cherry, they were still scared of her.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Cut that out, Roxie!" Cherry's squeaking voice was heard in the school hall.

Magenta scanned the school corridor. She knew Cherry's screams and cries anywhere. She then spotted the overweight girl with black shimmering hair in purple boots named Roxie harassing Cherry. Magenta growled with fury and stomped over to the brutish girl as she was squashing Cherry underneath her. Roxie smirked and spotted Magenta.

"Hey Maggie, wanna help me stuff this turkey?" Roxie laughed.

"Get off of her." Magenta snarled.

"What!" Roxie's eyes widened.

"GET OFF!" Magenta shoved Roxie off and looked down to see Cherry. "Are you okay, Cherry?" she asked in a motherly tone.

"Fine, but I slept on my arm last night, so Roxie made it worse." Cherry replied.

"Oh, poor thing..." Magenta's eyes flickered all around the school hall as she spotted everyone staring at her, wondering why she was being sweet or not beating Cherry up. Magenta cleared her throat and got menacing. "I think someone's thirsty for toilet water!"

"Huh?"

"Come on, let's go!" Magenta grabbed Cherry's hand and dragged her to the girls bathroom. Magenta opened a stall and gripped Cherry's hair to keep her from getting away. They both stared in the toilet. She then glanced at Cherry. "Sorry about this, but I have a reputation to protect!" she said, then without warning, dunked Cherry's head in the toilet and flushed it several times.

After a lot of flushing, Cherry and Magenta had the bathroom to themselves, so they decided to quickly talk before classes would start. Cherry wrung her hair and looked in the mirror while Magenta sat on the sink with her arms crossed.

"Sorry I had to nearly drown you." Magenta apologized.

"That's okay, I don't mind it when you bully me." Cherry replied.

"You didn't swallow any, did you?"

"Not this time. I have a question for you though."

"Shoot."

Cherry looked Magenta deep in the eyes. "I want a clear answer now," she sounded very dramatically serious. "If you like me, why do you keep beating the crap out of me?"

Magenta heaved a sigh and looked back in Cherry's eyes, locking them together. "It's a playground thing."

"What?" Cherry didn't seem to understand.

"Has a boy ever pulled on your hair when you were in grade school?"

Cherry nodded.

"And why is this?" Magenta prompted.

"My... My mother always said it was because he likes me..."

Magenta smirked.

"Oh..." Cherry rubbed her arm nervously with a sheepish smile. "I guess you won't beat me up anymore then, huh?"

Magenta shrugged. "I will, but only when we're in public. Instead when we're alone, we'll do nice things... Like... Kiss..."

"Oh, Magenta, I don't know..." Cherry felt embarrassed.

"Please?" Magenta asked sweetly, then kissed Cherry smoothly on the lips with her eyes shut. She then opened them back with a friendly smile once she finished.

Cherry smiled back, then the bell rang. The girls shared a look to each other, they decided they should get to class. Before Magenta opened the door, Cherry prepared herself for getting injured by her main bully. Even if it was out of love. Cherry would then allow Magenta to beat her up on that condition. The bell rang and the girls walked to class together slowly since they were the only ones left in the hall.
