Renaissance Man

By: Thousnelda Raine

Status: In Progress

Summary:

Magic is real, a lesson I quickly learned. It can be found in the arts and used by their artists. I was just some punk kid guitarist until I learned this lesson and my life changed. It was stupid impulses that made me a hero, but legends do not care about that. This is the story of how I learned about all of this magic stuff and of struggles I faced trying to do what seemed right.

I find your take on the definition of magic refreshing. It's something I've never seen before. I think that's what makes your story such an interesting read . I really enjoy your writing style because it feels honest. When I usually read books like this, I usually feel that the narrator feels ingenuine. I think you are on to something with this story. Good luck!

I plan on reading the rest of your story, but I wanted to get out a quick little review based off of what little I have read. I am enjoying the story so far. It is seems to divert from what we typically think of as magic, which is refreshing. I was just wondering if you had a specific age group in mind. Since I have not read much of it, I can't be sure, but I think this can be a middle grade book as well as young adult. Let me know if I am wrong. There were a few grammatical errors that I saw, but they mostly consisted with commas, so it's not noticeable. I'm also positive that if you were to publish this story, an editor will catch them. Great story and keep writing!
