Summary:

Tara Carter unexpectedly finds herself in a strange world encompassed by a never ending labyrinth. On her journey back to her own world (wherever that is) she meets a number of strange characters. There are the terrifying, mysterious Depression, Anxiety, and Panic but there is also Pax a strange young man who lives and coexists in the maze. Tara's only hope is that Pax helps her find her way back, but then there are bigger questions to answer like how she ended up there in the first place.

        Intriguing start with great visualizations. So many questions ran through my head while reading this! The chapters are short but to the point, not dragged out and yet there's enough written to make it seem complete.

        There's a few hiccups, making it a bit rough around the edges but not to the point of deterring me from reading on. 

        From her memory, it seems the world she's from isn't dystopian in the least (going out to eat in restaurants with a friend seems normal), but to wake up in a place like that makes me wonder what's going on. 

        Really impressive piece for 900 words.

        Well done, can't wait to read more.
