Summary:
The Olympic Alliance and Ursa Republic have been at war for centuries, only recently ending in a tense stalemate. Yet the uneasy peace is on the verge of ending as greed and power tempt mysterious players into the intrigues of politics.
A series of short stories from various planets in the two galaxies, Primus explores the preqursors for war, betrayal, lust, passion, and hope, only to cumulate in the novel, Kronos.

You have a great writing style, that alone wants me to continue reading, that and the HUGE mystery on what is next.
This chapter basically set the scene and didn't tell me anything plot-wise other than giving us the fact that there was a war going on; I got the sense that the masked man is actually our main character... Was this chapter a prologue? It read like one.

Thank you for the comment. These are all short stories (there's about five more that I don't ahve posted on here yet) that are connected. I have about half of the novel that goes with them done. Yes the masked man will be a main character in the novel along with other characters you meet in the stories. I'm glad that you liked it and I hope as I get the rest posted on here you'll start to see where they're linked.

Well, first I will say that this site is weird, I'm wondering if there is a way to message someone because I never got your response to my comment until I looked...
Anyway, I am a little confused on where exactly where this is going but it seems pretty cool so far. There wasn't really anything interesting happening at all but I'm surprised you were able to keep my interest in this politic guy with just your writing style. (Again, it is really good).
This masked guy again,... I'm wondering what his deal is... give me another chapter to read!
