In the country of Athul all citizens are capable of learning the art of synergy. Eight years ago, the synergist guild, Dragoon Spirit was involved in an incident that resulted in their guild being dissolved and the Athulian Government keeping a much closer eye on all synergists. They have now applied to be reinstated and the government has sent Tori Vogel to investigate them.
